As we discussed yesterday, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner welcomed their second child on Tuesday, a little boy they’ve now named Joseph Frederick Kushner. Ivanka posted these first baby photos on her Tumblr, The Art of Ivanka Trump – she’s holding the baby in one photo, and daughter Arabella is holding her baby brother in another. Thoughts on the name? I like it. As more “unconventional” boys’ names become more popular, I like when people choose old-faithful, traditional boys’ names. Plus, both Joseph and Frederick are important names to both Ivanka and Jared, and the names sort of fit with their oldest kid’s name, Arabella.
She’s one proud mama! Only one day after giving birth to her baby boy, Ivanka Trump introduced her bundle of joy on her Tumblr Tuesday, sharing a photo of her cradling her swaddled son in the hospital.
The new mom also posted his birth announcement, revealing he arrived on Monday, Oct. 14 at 9:54 p.m.
“With love we welcome our son, Joseph Frederick Kushner,” she Tweeted.
Baby boy — who shares a middle name with his cousin Spencer Frederick, the youngest son of Trump’s brother Donald Jr. – was named after both his parents’ paternal grandfathers.
“Jared’s grandfather, Joseph, was a rock. His indomitable spirit, his sense of family, and his work ethic are the values we hope to hand down to our son,” Trump writes.
“My grandfather, Frederick, was a builder not just of tens of thousands of homes throughout this city, but of a tight-knit family that honors to this day the traditions he established. Both men set the standards that have been passed down through the generations and which we hope to impart upon Joseph and Arabella.”
She adds, “We are honored to name our son after these two distinguished men. We feel so blessed with the newest member of the family!”

“Arabella is at home with her grandmother practicing her swaddle before her little brother comes home!” Trump Tweeted, sharing a snapshot of the 2-year-old cuddling her bundled up baby doll.
That’s very sweet. Does anyone else wonder what Donald Trump is like as grandfather? I think he was probably a largely absent father, but what’s he like as a grandpa? I bet he’s a lot softer than we’re expecting. Not that I’m looking for a reason to have one warm thought about Donald Trump, but I’m just saying – I bet he adores his grandkids.
Also, we should all look that good after pushing a tiny human out of our vadges. Ivanka has amazing bone structure! The world just hangs off of those cheekbones.

Yeah I think it’s just pregnancy puff, plus you always look so puffy after giving birth from all of those IV fluids.
she got huge boobs and a tiny nose from her surgeon. maybe she has kept tampering with her face. she was already pretty before.
And our newborns all have to wear those same ugly striped blankets and hats.

She seems quite normal given the life she was born into…I have to grudgingly give some credit to Donald.

I don’t know. I really can’t stand Donald, but I do get the ‘softer with the grandkids bit’. My grandfather had a miserable childhood and had to grow up far too quickly. He became a Major in the RCAF, and he lived that very disciplined, in charge kind of lifestyle. He had a heart of gold, but he was never THAT warm with my dad and aunts. With us though, he was a lot more soft because he didn’t feel the need to raise us, and didn’t have to spend all the hours away at work by then. And with their dogs? Spoiled rotten.
Ivanka is gorgeous, smart, classy, tasteful (love her clothes) & personable. Wonder where she got all that from? Beautiful family, Mazel!

Don’t burn it! It’s been a trend among new moms these days to be all groomed up before taking the first pics with their babies. It’s kinda vain, tbh but whatever.

It’s such a shame too because she didn’t need to mess with her face. She already had a gorgeous face. Now she just looks strange. Not a good look.
That is what I thought too but can’t put my finger on it. She got the bump in her nose removed and a boob job but there is something else… She has always been beautiful though, never needed anything doing especially with those gorgeous doe eyes.

Her little girl is adorable. I can never tell if a newborn baby is cute, he’ll probably be a handsome little man when he gets a bit older.
Ivanka looks tired but happy in that top picture. I think I have a photo of my SIL with her hand in front of the camera a little while after my nephews birth. She had told everyone she wanted to wait a day before photos but her mom took it anyway. I came across it and keep it for blackmail.

Her husband is part of the latest slumlord realtors to have bought my little east village slum building in the past 20 years I’ve been stuck there. They are no no better than any of the last landlords so far.

She looks beautiful!! I’ve always liked her.. Both babies are adorable! I saw Donald on a talk show & was so surprised by him.. His kids can call him anytime, anyplace, anywhere & he stops everything to take their calls! It doesn’t have to be life or death, it can be anything. He has a closer bond with them than anyone knows. He’s a great dad & a terrific g’pa!
