OH NOES. How in the world did Chris Hemsworth get permission to wear the velvet AGAIN? Tommy Hiddleston probably had a good cry about this. Tommy took one look at his love Chrissy Hemsworth in the beloved velvet and Tommy wept and wept and wept (and danced, sadly). Doesn’t Chrissy know by now that Tommy owns all the velvet?!
Anyway, these are some nice photos from the Berlin premiere (last night) of Thor 2: The Dark Loki. Chrissy wore Tommy’s favorite velvet blazer and Tommy had to settle for his UN-velvet tuxedo (SOB). I don’t have much to say here other than I think Chrissy is channeling his BFF Tommy. Usually Tommy is the one wearing velvet AND Tommy is the one looking like he’s got a face full of makeup, but in these photos, it’s Chris who looks overly made up.
A few more things I’d like to discuss – Thor/Loki comic book writer Al Ewing confirmed on Tumblr the other day that yes, Loki was and is bisexual and sort of transgender. He wrote: “Yes, Loki is bi and I’ll be touching on that. He’ll shift between genders occasionally as well.” Loki is going full Tilda Swinton? YES. Also, Tommy did an interview with Entertainment Weekly where he discussed his top three film villains – you can read the piece here. He named Jack Nicholson’s Joker, Alan Rickman in Die Hard and James Mason in North by Northwest.
PS… Where IS Elsa Pataky? I strongly suspect she’s pregnant and about to announce it just before the American release date.

Well, I guess beauty really lies in the eyes of the beholder. Chris is a living male god. Such deep, piercing blue eyes and nice physique. He just exudes a certain aura whenever he goes. His humbling attitude just makes him more endearing. Tom is quite average man on the street imo but he’s funny and charming in his own ways, which I think is what appeal to his fans.
I have been told that my taste in men is a bit weird. Chris is boringly handsome. There are no imperfections, nothing interesting about him. He’s just bland.
Yes. Hiddles wins. He’s been consistenly dressing better than Chris (but that’s not hard to do).
I’d take neither of them. As spooks says, Chris is handsome, but somehow too handsome and ‘perfect’ and blonds don’t do it for me anyway. But he does seem a very nice person, down-to-earth and all. Tom H. is too smiley, too happy-face, so I wouldn’t take him either. Please, don’t take my head for this, ladies, tastes are just not up for discussion 🙂

LOL, I’m on the @Andrea side. I don’t care for either of them. Chris does come across as a nice, gentle man but physically he reminds me too much of Brad Pitt whom I can’t stand. Tom has a beautiful, rich, melodious voice and he comes across fantastically on film, but in still shots and interviews as himself he comes across manic and try-hard. Also, too too too thin. I’m really turned off by his real self. He looks (and sounds!) awesome in the trailer for the new Thor, as does Chris. (And Christopher Eccleston!!!)

This is no news to anyone familiar with Myth!Loki, and even in Marvel he switches genders. Lots of nice potential.
Everything I have read about that new “sexy” Loki comic though sounds dreadful though. Written by a committee for the sole purpose of milking the fantasies of the fans.
I think that comic in particular won’t be counted too much towards the Marvel world but rather as you said for the fantasies. But I actually haven’t heard about this so that’s my idea. Just how they made independent graphic novels based on the Joker from The Dark Knight- good but didn’t count towards anything but just it’s own story.

So calculating. So Elsa (and Chris too if he co-signs this mess) This is the only excuse I will accept. But I still am not 100% convinced. I think the London premiere is just as good if not better than the US since that is what kicked it all off, but I guess we will see.
Chris looks great and he would be my pick. His hair and that touch of stubble are making me feel some kind of way .
I love Tom’s hair this color and with a bit of his natural curls showing but I find him off-putting. He is talented no doubt, but his online pandering turns me off.

Chris! I know some people have decided to take issue with Chris about not doing the promo pre-tour with Tom, but now that he’s onboard for the premieres and panels, he’s been very present and engaging.
Saw him on Graham Norton, and WOW, for some reason I’d kind of forgotten just how ridiculously good-looking he can be. Without the Thor hair and bulk, he’s looking clean, lean, and fit.
Also saw the panel where a reporter asked Tom/Chris about Loki being more popular than Thor (someone wasn’t screened properly, ha). Chris was so gracious and his words seemed genuine. Basically, he fanboyed Tom in the most, er, manly way. He touched on how Loki wasn’t supposed to be such an integral character in the Marvel series, but Tom made that character the phenomenon that it’s become and Tom deserved every bit praise he’s gotten for that.
I still do like our Tommyanne, but on this tour, whenever they’ve put Chris and Tom together in a panel/interview situation, Tom has come off a bit cloying to me. Chris, on the other hand, has just seemed more measured, and not too try-hard.
By the way, the chemistry between Chris and Natalie has improved. They seem to be able to communicate more with just their eyes. Sorry if that sounds creepy as a casual observation, but I swear it’s obvious when you see their interviews together (like on GN). This should be a good sign for the sequel, because I really don’t think their chemistry was there for the first movie.
Anyone else but Natalie and I would’ve been all for better chemistry and its possible effect on Tacky Pataky. 😜

Browniecakes, not sure about where he will be geographically at the time of the GMA interview; they sometimes do those via satellite, so who knows? But even if he is physically in the U.S., most of the late-night and morning talk shows schedule their guests pretty far in advance so unless something unexpected happens or another guest cancels, the GMA and Chelsea Lately appearances are probably the only ones planned as of right now. That’s my guess, anyway.

I think he might be stressed / with the play and I bet hyper and I would imagine he smokes too. He does need to gain at least half a stone he would look better but he is still sorty toned/defined muscle wise but needs more weight. I do like how his suits are actually tailored not just bought it and threw it on and they don’t look boxy.
