Here are some photos from last night’s “2013 Guggenheim International Gala Pre-Party hosted by The Young Collector’s Council” at the Guggenheim in NYC. Jessica Biel, Natalie Portman and Leelee Sobieski were all in attendance. Both Natalie and Jessica wore competing Dior dresses, which is kind of funny (to me, at least). Natalie is a Dior girl – she gets paid to represent the brand, and she’s been wearing Dior almost exclusively on red carpets for the past two years. Jessica on the other hand… well, she’s still trying to be a major Fashion Girl. She has no connection to the label other than the fact that she would love to be Natalie Portman.
As for the actual Dior dresses, I dislike both of them. I don’t think Dior has been doing a very good job lately with dressing their ladies. I guess Biel’s dress would have been cute-ish save for the lime green detailing on the top. Natalie’s dress, however, is just a hot mess overall. I don’t understand how Raf Simons (Dior’s chief designer right now) thinks stiff satin mall dresses are high fashion. Natalie looks like she’s going to a prom. Especially with her new old-lady hair. Are those PIN CURLS?
I’m not sure about Leelee’s designer ID, but I do like that coat, mostly because it looks elegant compared to Biel and Portman’s respective messes.
PS… As many of you have been saying, I’m starting to wonder if Natalie messed with her face. It does look different but I can’t put my finger on it.

I have to give this one to Biel. Her fashion choices have been much, much better lately. Her athletic body looks great in simple styles, not the frilliness that she insisted on wearing for a couple years.
BTW, is this what she does now? Just show up to events and such?
I actually dislike both of these looks – I hate sateen, ugh – but if I had to pick a “winner” it would be Biel. I do think that Dior has been slipping though, a lot of their stuff looks really budget (ironic, considering how much it costs).
As for Jessica Biel, I think all she does now is show up at events and be Mrs. Timberlake. Reach for the stars, I guess? LOL.
I think Jessica looks great, and I really like the matchy matchy shoes in this ensemble. Natalie’s dress is weird, and Leelee’s nude stockings have got to go!
Biel actually looks better, for once. And Natalie does look different, but I think it’s just because she’s gained a little weight and her face looks fuller. She looks good, but she’s seemed so stiff and awkward at events lately. You think she’d be used to them by now.
It’s hard to tell what Jessica Biel’s dress is like with the awkward way she was caught moving. Natalie Portman just seems to have dresses that are not properly proportioned for her petite size.
Jessica’s skirt shape is all wrong for her figure. The material, fit, the horizontal lines…don’t like. I do like the hint of color but it isn’t enough of a touch to make that dress whimsical.
Maybe Natalie is just tired? I can’t put my finger on it either.

I hate everything Dior has put out lately. Ridiculous stuff IMO.

I think Biel’s make-up and hair look great, but the dress is not particularly flattering.
Natalie has a lovely smile, but always dresses like an older woman. As for her face, I think she just looks a little older, not so different.
I agree, I don’t think she’s been tweaking I think she’s just ageing naturally, seems her eyes are a little sunken, still stunning obvs.
Leelee Sobieski was the one to really nail it.

Dior is just sucking this season. everything they put out has looked awful on everyone from Jlaw to nicole kidman to these two. just awful, wrinkly cheap looking terriblenss.
Biel’s looks the best, I really just don’t get her appeal, I don’t understand her marriage to Timberlake, it seems like they only make a few appearances a year together and then the rest of the time they are solo, at least he seems to be working, she pretty much is seen at events and fashion shows. As for Portman, I don’t think her face looks messed with, I actually think she’s starting to age and she looks tired.
I am throwing my vote for Leelee solely because she is wearing nylons.
I dunno, I think Natalie has gained a little weight over the last year; she looks more athletic and less will-o-the-wisp now. And, she’s in her thirties. Still young, but she’s finally starting to age. She no longer looks like a child.
Those are ugly, especially Natalie’s.

more celebrities do it than many people realize. not everyone goes full metal jacket like renee zelwegger.
Poor Mrs. Timberlake, marrying him certainly didn’t help her “career” much. She’s pretty much a professional papped dog-walker or shows-up-at-opening-of-envelope type of gal. Either than that, she has no career to speak of and should return to TV which is more her speed. There is NO WAY her marriage will last, she’s as boring as oatmeal and JT has a wandering eye, just a matter of time before we hear of a split.
Never seen the appeal of Jessica Biel. FIt yes, but so mannish and kinda monkey-looking in the face, with those baboon lips or am I onl the only one who sees that?
No you’re not. I was quite shocked to hear that she was – supposedly – a ‘sex symbol’. She’s always looked rough to me.

I will say that I think Jessica’s hair and makeup look lovely.
You can’t compare Natalie and Jessica Biel, that’s like comparing Bloomingdales to Wal-Mart.
I just don’t think Natalie is aging well.
I can’t stand Natalie Portman – she’s a horrible actress and one of THE most annoying celebrities out there. However, I will freely admit that she has perhaps the most classically beautiful face in Hollywood today. So if she messed with that perfect face – and at her young age – it is a crime.
Having said that, I agree that she looks different in an indefinable way. Looking at the potato sacks she’s been wearing, I suspect she may be pregnant, but her first pregnancy didn’t change her face so who knows? Maybe she has been tweaking.
I think Natalie is just aging. The baby face and her girlish body was her trademark body and now she is become a 30ish woman. I hope the transition will be ok in the movie industry, because I really like her. She would not had looking baby forever anyway guys.
I am so happy Biel is getting the bangs out of her face! Yay! I am so happy for her! She looks so much better without the fringe!

Team Leelee. And stockings give anyone a more polished look. No one looks well groomed with streaky spray-tanner at feet & ankles, bruises, razor nicks or wax bumps or the odd spider vein.
