Yes!!! He was super adorable in About Time!!!

    • Spooks says:

He’s super adorable in general. A great actor. And tall, lanky and ginger. And has an Irish accent. Pretty much perfect.
I’ve seen an interview with him and his brother, and they got asked if their father helped them in their careers. And they said that it did get them some doors open, but you have to have talent to go trough. Which is quite a nice change from the usual “nobody ever helped me” crap that people like Lily Collins say.

    • bob says:

I DIBSED AGES AGO! I’ve loved him since Never Let Me Go, he is adorable, isn’t he. And poor little Moon.

  2. frisbeejada says:

Yes AND he’s got a fantastic Irish accent – AND, AND, I’m going to have a little bit of a rest, a lie down maybe….

  3. Ally8 says:

He also stole the show with Alicia Vikander in Anna Karenina. Cute, kind expression & good actor.

So yes. His presence is gonna draw me to that latest Richard Curtis schmaltzfest.

  4. BooBooLaRue says:

    No just no!

  5. Violeta says:

OMG!!! O___O *heart skips a beat*

Urgh same pattern… whenever I’ve been crushing on an actor for ages when he wasn’t that noticed, now I have to share that crush witha bigger crowd as he’s getting noticed…

I’ve met him on the Never Let Me Go set 4 and a half years ago as I worked as an assistant, he was utterly nice and funny (so was Andrew btw), he had a weird effect on me and he’s one of those actors crushes I’ve never even let go…. and even more dumbfounded when I realized I’ve been a fan of his Dad since In Bruges…

Screw it, I shall claim him as my Irish Dolphin (behind Irish Prince Cillian Murphy), he’s MINE!

Ah, the comfort of being anonymous and share a piece of me life anecdotes eh… *reaches for cheesecake slice*

  6. ChrisM says:

YES, YES, YES. Love him, he was wonderful in the last two Harry Potter movies too.

  7. Lucy says:

    Absolutely!!!

  8. klue says:

Wow..didn’t know vaginas could be that..um..prominent..

  9. Bubbles says:

Emilia as the new Sarah? HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

  10. ds says:

About time! Don’t find him hot but I really like seeing him on screen so I’m all for this newcomer.

  11. Myrto says:

Yay for Domhnall Gleeson! He was so great in Anna Karenina. Had a huge crush on him and his ginger beard.

  12. Norman Bates' Mother says:

Yay, I was waiting for you to notice him. I love all the Gleesons. Domhall is not a classically handsome hottie with the abs of steel but he is very talended, nice, funny, clever and ginger. What’s not to like? His interviews are always a delight. I can’t wait to watch About Time on DVD. I couldn’t see it in the cinema because it wasn’t played anywhere near my area.

  13. someone says:

To anyone who hasn’t seen the movie “About Time” – JUST GO! This is an excellent movie, even better than I expected. Domhnall grows on you in the movie and by the end you will be in love with him. He makes the cutest couple with Rachel McAdams. When I walked out of the movie I couldn’t stop saying how much I enjoyed it, and there haven’t been any movies recently that made me feel that way.

    • Meaghan says:

I was bawling my face off at the end of the movie. It was such a fantastic movie, but I never doubted it would be be. Richard Curtis is amazing, and Bill Nighy is always great! Loved this movie so much, I couldn’t believe there was a lineup for Thor and virtually nobody in the theatre for About Time!

      • paranormalgirl says:

I love Richard Curtis. His “Vincent and the Doctor” is one of my favorite New Who episodes, and “Vicar of Dibley” is one of my all time favorite shows. “Blackadder,” “Love Actually,” “Pirate Radio,” “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” the list goes on and on. “About Time” is this week’s date night film, and I can’t wait!

  14. lunchcoma says:

Couldn’t stand the movie, but the actor is admittedly charming. I may have to see what else he’s been in.

    • Camille (TheOriginal) says:

Check him out in a TV mini series called Black Mirror. He’s good in it. Very likeable.

  15. Miss M says:

I liked him in “About time”, but that’s it. He is not in my list… J.J. Feild on the other hand…. I would love to see Hiddleston and Feild playing brothers in a movie. It would be dong Heaven.

  16. MollyB says:

As a redhead, I think some of the people this site refers to as ‘gingers” is ridic–they’re just brunettes or blondes. But this guy is ALL GINGER. And yummy!

  17. Camille (TheOriginal) says:

He’s a cutie and better looking any day of the week than that Cumberdick guy, but he doesn’t get my errm juices flowing like Fassy.

  18. GeeMoney says:

Currently saving all of my ginger love for Cumberbatch 🙂

  19. Han says:

He is a good actor but not hot. This site has the worst taste in men. As long as they are ginger and pale skinned and from the UK or Ireland anything goes it seems.

    • paranormalgirl says:

I should be way more popular than I am, considering I’m pale, ginger, and from Ireland. But alas, I’m a lass.

    • Flora says:

      +10000

Get real people! This man is fugly! He’s a good actor like his dad, but he ain’t no looker.

  20. TheCountess says:

Holy crap, I had no idea he played Konstantin in “Anna Karenina” – I would have pegged the actor in that role as much older (I mean that as a compliment).

He’s very cute in “About Time” – much more likeable than I expected. The film leans a bit too sappy but at least it’s an adult romantic comedy-drama, and not some paint-by-numbers crapfest starring Aniston or Heigl.

  21. GiGi says:

I took my older kids to see Thor yesterday – it was really good. Not 12 Years a Slave good… but you know – excellent film in its own genre.

It was *much* more graphic and gory than any of the previous Marvel films I’ve seen and I’ll be prewatching any future ones before taking the kids again, lol. Stellan Skarsgard and Tom Hiddleston completely steal the movie and things are revealed which bode very well for really great Avengers/Guardians of the Galaxy/Thor 3 interweaving plotlines. They are laying this out for the future so well as opposed to *ahem* certain other franchises which insist on making a movie every 4 years completely unrelated to those previous.

Fortunately (or unfortunately?) I’d say most of the actors involved are going to have jobs on the books for the next several years out.

  22. betsy says:

Very average actor. Middling looks. Not worth a second look

  23. Jackson says:

    I just can’t with these super-skinny guys.

  24. mikhail says:

this one is just a no for me *Simon Cowell’s voice*

  25. Emma Jane says:

He’s cute, tall, and (so far?) hasn’t cravenly campaigned for the creepy love of teenage geeks or ‘danced’ like a drunk dad at the worst homecoming in Croyden, New Hampshire. I’m in.

  26. Tiffany says:

    He is his father’s son.

  27. Tiffany :) says:

Some guys I think you have to see in action. I am not feeling this one based on photos, but perhaps there is something I am missing.

I never got the Michael Sheen bit until I saw some Masters of Sex episodes. I still dont’ think he is omg hot, but I can understand it a lot better!

  28. Tiffany :) says:

OMG, I just saw this on Buzzfeed. Memes of the sleeping Beiber video, so funny! The dog is the BEST!

  29. A Fan says:

Based on these pictures, er, nope. I prefer my men far more manly and rugged-looking. These delicate looking ones do absolutely nothing for me.

  30. Mairead says:

Well, considering I remember him in (a very funny) sketch show here called ‘Your Bad Self’ – with Hugh O’Conor from My Left Foot/ The Three Musketeers/ Chocolat – in scenes where he is supposedly crapping into a bottle and shagging a horse (different scenes), I’d have to say… No! :-p

Have you seen his brother Brian (he’s in the first series of Love + Hate with Aiden Gillen and Robert Sheehan)? He is a complete mini-me of Brendan who I adore!

  31. Marisa says:

    Nope. Bobble head.

  32. Melissa says:

Nah just because someone’s semi-famous doesn’t automatically make them good looking.
