Lady with the cake box: you’re killing me! Get out of the way! Don’t you realize that Angelina Jolie and two of her children are walking behind you? What’s funny is that I don’t think that lady is any way associated with Angelina. Like, she’s not a bodyguard, assistant, handler or nanny. It’s just some woman walking on the sidewalk and Angelina just happens to be walking behind her. Update: apparently, the Cake Box Lady is Holly Goline, Angelina’s long-time assistant? I’ve seen photos of Holly, and that doesn’t look like Holly to me, but whatever. Sure, it’s Holly.
Anyway, these are some new pics of Angelina, Vivienne and Knox in Sydney on Sunday. You can see some better shots from the outing here at The Mail. Angelina was hugging and kissing Viv and Knox and it was very sweet. Angelina is still in drab all-black (this is like “Morticia goes to sunny Sydney” at this point), but it’s her thing and I can’t hate her for it. I wear a lot of black too. She’s still not wearing a bra, which many claim is because of her reconstructive work. Apparently, doctors recommend that women NOT wear bras for a while? Sure.
As for Knox and Viv – so cute. I really do think that Knox is going to look so much like Brad as he grows up and Viv is just the prettiest little thing. Does anyone else love that Vivienne is carrying a black doll? So many parents (of all races) have such strong feelings about the skin color of dolls. I kind of doubt that Angelina was trying to make some kind of “statement” with Vivienne’s doll – it’s far more likely that Viv picked out the doll that she wanted and Angelina (or Brad) just got it for her, right?
PS… I hate Angelina’s baby-wedge shoes.

@Emma You just proved my point. Kim 1 mentioned it and you just kept talking about it. Also on last week post Cecelia got accused by Thea of talking about Angie’s nipples when not one word in Cecelia’s post mentioned the nipples. It was Thea who brought up Angie’s nipples. Therefore, I’m right in saying you guys are the ones who keep bringing it up. Just like you guys just did. You’re little example doesn’t hold water in this case.
Side note: People always seems to bring up Michael Fassbender dong when he’s featured on C/B are you going to jump all over them for doing that or is it just Angie who is untouchable?

I saw those pictures, the daughter is older than the twins, and had a pink ponytail holder in her hair. They were together both in a restaurant and out on the street.

Part of Viv getting the black doll probably also has to do with Zahara (being black), so since she’s so used to seeing people of different races for her there’s no difference and not a big deal..

The story I read last night said they went into a toy store as they walked around, and Angie bought the doll then. My first thought was maybe it was Zahara’s too. Knox didn’t seem to get anything, but maybe Angie put it in her purse.
I had a black doll as a child (I picked her out). She’s in the jumble of dolls that my daughters have now and my youngest daughter always picks her to play with. Their beloved cousins are biracial and that may have to do with it. Or it may be that she’s a little child and has no prejudices and that doll just appeals to her for whatever reason. I think it’s lovely.

One of the ‘saner’ conspiracy theories in 2008 was that Angie wasn’t really pregnant and that her ‘Assistant’ carried and gave birth to the twins. I was SO happy to see a picture of Holly’s little girl with Viv and Knox yesterday (on other media cites). She’s the same age as the twin, so Viv probably has a ‘Besty’ for life. 🙂
HA! I remember that conspiracy theory quite well and there was also talks then that their due date was the same. Hence she was carrying brad and angie’s babies.

I think it will be the opposite: Knox looks like Angie and will look more like her and Vivienne looks like Brad and will look more like him.

I don’t take anything personally and this is not high school. I’m assuming we are all mature adults here who can agree and disagree and keep it moving. As someone who is biracial, I used to cry whenever my barbie dolls weren’t white—I guess I was used to them being white??? I don’t know–but my godmother bought me a black barbie doll and she said I started crying.
And I’m going to assume that the doll used to be Zahara’s–she was the first girl.
I had a black doll too, and that was the early 40’s. I loved her but a bully boy at the babysitters house smashed the head and tore off the limbs. I must admit I took my revenge on him. I broke a bottle of milk on the porch and told the sitter he did it. They believed me and my innocent face & he was always in trouble anyway. He had to eat his meals in a high chair for the offense, all the kids were laughing and I bet I had a wicked smile on my face. 🙂
But to the point of having a black doll, I chose it myself.

@Cindy yeah she looked pretty with her hair shaved and that was for a movie. what I mean is that she doesn’t cut it short or make it wavy she sure loves her long her. But she is one of the few actresses who can rock a booze cut!

Maybe it’s because I live out in the middle of the sticks, but I’ve never seen a pair of ballet shoes with wedges on them. At least not that small.

I live in Sydney – glorious city – and while trawling the shops on Sunday, I saw the same type of shoes in loads of the stores. Many styles and colours, but essentially the same thing: ballet flats with a mini wedge. Perhaps they’re designed to give a dressier look to the summer clothing that the standard ballet flat doesn’t provide? I’ve no idea. I don’t mind them, but can’t wear them.
True story: My friend’s child – who happens to be multiracial – came home one day and told her parents she just found out she is African-American at school. Apparently they were recognizing heritage at her school that day and children were put into categories/ethnic groups. The sad part is, my friend’s daughter never identified herself by color prior to that (she’s 7) though if you asked what her school friends looked like she would say one had “yellow hair and pink skin” or “brown eyes and brown skin.” Her parents do identify as black/African-American though half the grandparents are white or Asian. My point is that children don’t define by race, adults do.
I love seeing a Viv holding a little brown doll. Though I don’t make a habit of looking at or commenting on kid pics, Viv also looks sharp in a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses in pics on another site.
Those kids are such beauties. I love Shiloh too. They make such beautiful babies. They should get an award for that.

I think Knox is a carbon copy of Angie; I agree with above posters, and Viv more like dad. I’ve always thought Shiloh looks more like her mom. I also don’t get the black/ white clothes, either. Most kids go for vivid colors.
Wow. It’s weird how we see things, isn’t it? From the moment Shiloh was born I’ve thought she looked like Brad (same facial structure, same eyes, same facial expressions Brad has when he looks at things, and the same mannerisms … which is why I believe she loves rocking his hats so much), and Knox too. I think Viv is all Angelina, and it will be apparent as she grows. 🙂
When I was little I always picked out black dolls over white. My mom didn’t mind but asked why and I just said they were prettier. Vivienne is so pretty!

always thought Shiloh looked like a young Voight, but I think she’s looking more like Pitt as she grows up.
Knox is all Angelina, aka Voight, cleft chin and all. He is already taller than his twin sister and will probably end up as tall as Jon Voight.
Viv is mainly Brad with a little bit of Angelina…especially her mannerism.
Shiloh is a blend of both favouring Voight and Angelina at times (hence why she resembles more Knox than Viv). While other times, she resembles Brad, swag and all.

the kids are so switchable. They are such a mixture of both of their parents. I saw some baby pics of Shiloh and Viv and her look exactly alike. And in some of the pics of her (Viv) smiling.. I see Angie all over her. Shiloh has so much of Brad. his stance and all.. But lately her arms are long and thin and I see her mother in her too.
You can go back and forth forever on the biological kids. But bottom line is well 2 very attractive people made some cute kids.

I agree with you. Generally, Jolie doesn’t dress well except in films or on the red carpet. For instance the (inevitably) black gown that she wore at the humanitarian awards was very flattering on her. Also the draped dark blue gown at a ITLOBAH premiere was a superior choice IMO. Her day to day garb just seems….there, not particularly flattering and sometimes downright depressing and unflattering.
The only context in which to view the picture of Viv holding the doll is as a child holding a doll that is black. Their family includes children of different ethnicities so I believe that Viv is enjoying the doll. Any comments as to the doll being black and obviously belonging to Zahara are a reflection of the person commenting and the prism through which they view life and provides a window into how they were raised and what they were taught. It seems to me that as Viv is growing up in a family of different ethnicities her prism is more this is her family and this is a doll as opposed to this is a black doll.
Holly is not Angelina’s assistant anymore. She is a co-producer on ITlBh and probably unbroken too. They are partners. ;-). Angelina once admitted to being in love with her. Ha !

All the J-P kids are adorable. They are a very photogenic bunch.
Her face is pretty as ever but her figure is getting tragic.
I think all their bio children look a little bit like both Brad and Angie, and other relatives. I’m from a large family, and not one of us is a carbon copy of our parents. We have little traits of both sides. It would be cool if Knox looked like his dad (because who doesn’t want another Brad Pitt running around??), but I think Knox is going to be very handsome in his own way. (When he was a baby I thought Knox looked more like is dad, so we’ll just have to see.)

I really don’t like the Angelina OR Jennifer stories on this site, or the eye-wateringly weird comments that inevitably follow, but I just wanted to say that I hate pap photos (or photos taken by random people on the street) when celebs are out with their kids. It’s incredibly obnoxious for someone to hold their camera phone up to SOMEONE’S FACE when they are just out running errands, getting lunch etc. That level of attention/rudeness would turn me into a hermit.
Sorry to burst your bubble but Knox totally looks like a young Angelina ie. Voight. and Viv is like Brad? Strange combo. About Angelina not wanting to make a statement that would get her attention.
