Orlando Bloom gets fug for new role

fp_1849327_ruffalo_bloom_fp
Heartthrob Orlando Bloom, 32, was photographed yesterday on the LA set of his new film, Sympathy for Delicious, looking larger and much shaggier. The film is directed by Mark Ruffalo, who also stars, and features Laura Linney. IMDB has the plot synopsis as “A newly paralyzed DJ gets more than he bargained for when he seeks out the world of faith healing,” and it’s listed as a Comedy/Drama.

It’s nice to see Mark Ruffalo working again after the shooting death of his brother in early December. Ruffalo dropped out of another recent project after the tragedy. Orlando’s role was originally slated for James Franco, who had to give up the part when filming needed to be delayed.

Bloom will have some competition for the most fug on set – Juliette Lewis is also in the film, although her look is likely to improve once she goes through wardrobe.

Thanks to Fame Pictures for these photos. Laura Linney is shown on set in photos from Splash News

*jaw drops* Please to retract remark about Juliette Lewis nao!!! She is a jewel, an absolutely bonkers jewel!

Laura Linney looks fab, apart from the movie-makeup. Great hair and boots though and I really like that necklace. But what have they done to Orlando? Never has there been a more accurate title for a post than this one.

Love Orlando and Laura Linney. Absolutely adore her. It’s also nice to see her give intros to PBS’s Masterpiece Theater mini-series…

I will have to look this up on IMDB, haven’t heard of this movie. Cast sounds great.

I also love Juliette I still have daydreams about her getting back with Brad Pitt although she is too good from him now. It is just nice to see her working.

Ever notice how everyone looks better in their LOTR costume? Viggo is also hot in the movies and I think FUGLY in real life!

Wait, which one’s Juliette, and which one’s Orlando?

I kid, I kid. He looks crazy and a bit crusty, but it’s nice that he’s filled out some. The boy was just too skinny, and hopefully that lasts beyond this movie.

Let’s all just marvel how fan-FREAKING-tastic Laura Linney is looking in these shots. Goodness, woman, you’re fab.

And to those who complain that women get all the shit about their looks and men don’t…BAM. Case in point.

With that said, Juliette Lewis is NOT a “jewel” she’s like an LA 2.

If the caption to that pic didn’t say Orlando Bloom I would never have guessed it to be him. I admire Laura Linney, she’s a fantastic actress.

I agree with everyone, Laura Linney looks gorgeous and I adore those boots.

Poor Orlando…though like MoJo said, I’m glad to see he’s gotten a few square meals and been to the gym. Skinny guys gross me out.

*giggles @ Mairhead* Ok Ok, I’ll pipe down about that.

As for LA 2. Major cities have different rankings….like an LA 5 is prettier than a Minnesota 8 because of the fact that the people in LA are more aesthetically inclined. (AKA: We’re stuck up as all get out :) ) It comes with hanging around a ton of guys that have explained this to me.
