Shia LaBeouf told a guy, ‘I can get you killed’ during yet another bar fight

Shia LaBeouf

Shia LaBeouf’s WWII film Fury is still filming in London. I can’t wait until this thing wraps so Shia will stop wearing combat fatigues to run errands. I will admit being amused at recent reports that even Brad Pitt has grown irritated with Shia’s “method” ways, but being method hasn’t stopped Shia from getting into trouble during his off hours. In October, Shia got his ass kicked by a bystander after he randomly filmed a woman puking outside a pub. Every time I think Shia’s decided to grow up and stop getting into fights, he does lands himself in trouble again. This weekend, he found himself in another altercation and told a man, “I can get you killed.” This is totally crazy, right? Not to mention totally Shia:

Shia LaBeouf apparently let his Fury show during a restaurant altercation in London.

An argument between the 27-year-old actor and a man at a Convent Garden bar apparently took a turn for the worse when LaBeouf was overheard saying “I can get you killed,” according to British tabloid The Sun.

The Transformers star reportedly upset a female fan that approached him at the restaurant and then exchanged a few heated words with the woman’s boyfriend when he came to defend her.

“Shia went for this guy after he upset his girlfriend,” a source told The Sun.

“It was shocking. He looked out of control.”

After the heated row, LaBeouf was escorted out of the establishment by staff, the newspaper reports.

It sounds like Shia said something rude to a woman who interrupted his meal at a restaurant. Of course we already know that it’s also disrespectful to barge in on a celebrity while they’re eating, but such behavior certainly shouldn’t result in a death threat. I think we can all agree that Shia has a real anger problem. He even made Alec Baldwin look sane — Shia’s the one who punched a hole in a door after he and Alec clashed during rehearsals for their Broadway production. Shia needs to get it together. I wonder what Bob Redford would think about his protegé’s latest antics. Bob will probably just pat him on the back with a “Let’s go to work, son.”

Oh please. This a**hole wishes he had that kind of clout.

  2. Jacqueline says:

Maybe we can lock him in a room with Beiber for an Ultimate Douche Death Match

  3. Elodie says:

Well… you know you’ve officially become a lazy, überspoiled a$$ boil when you can’t even bother to personally threaten to kill someone yourself… I guess he’s so full of delusion of grandeur that he’s too lazy to even wipe his own douche a$$… Alright then!

  4. Secret Squirrel says:

You can take the redneck out of the fight, but you can’t take the fight out of the redneck.

Why is this tool even a thing? He can’t act. He is not attractive and his horrible attitude trumps both those.

He was awful in Transformers. Lawless. That Raiders movie and don’t get me started on that $ Never Sleeps crap they tried to do as a Wall Street follow up.

I think he’s a very good actor with a great deal of energy. He’s just an asshole in real life.

    • NerdMomma says:

eliza, I was just about to say the exact same thing! He’s unattractive, his acting sucks, he has a horrible attitude…why exactly does he get hired? I don’t understand. H’wood, go with someone hotter and better please. We’ve had enough Shia.

      • eliza says:

He can’t act his way out of a paper bag. Even if he could his actions would eclipse any talent he might have.

I know incitement in an indictable offense in GB, but what about uttering threats? That will get you at least probation time in Canada. If the guy he said this to files an official complaint he could finally be in serious trouble. Although…he’s a celebrity and apparently our puny mortal laws don’t apply to them. He just looks like a psychopath and he’s very unlikeable. I don’t get his staying power in HWood.

“Although…he’s a celebrity and apparently our puny mortal laws don’t apply to them.”

Bless you for saying that! Sometimes I read stuff that makes me wonder if being a celebrity means that you are not a human being anymore because the laws we have to follow don’ t apply to them because they trascend being human beings… they are superior, the next stage of evolution… or shit like that! And what’ s worse, there are peasants like me (and I guess you) who agree about them getting more privileges! It’ s freaking frustrating!

I can’t stand Shia, but The Sun? I feel like if he was doing this, someone would have got this on their camera phone. Supposedly the girl was in tears, and then they came back…that’s why I doubt this happened and there were no receipts.

great actor but a lousy drunk

  10. Kim1 says:

He is an asshole but I have never read a story from the Sun that was true about a celebrity. The Sun makes Star Magazine appear reputable.

  11. Esmom says:

I can’t speak to his acting skills but if he’s truly talented then I guess he’s lucky that people are willing to put up with his bad behavior. If he’s not talented, it’s sad that he keeps getting roles that plenty of other hardworking aspiring actors would kill (bad choice of words?) to get.

But hearing about his issues again makes me think of this interview I heard on Fresh Air last week. It was with a director, Alexander Payne, I think, and he talked about how good actors are generally fragile because their emotions are always right under the surface. Essentially he said their talent is a double-edged sword — it works professionally but can make for a messy personal life. Could be the case with Shia here? Not that I’m excusing bad drunken behavior — talent or no talent the guy clearly needs help.

Yes, anyone who makes Alec Baldwin look sane and even tempered by comparison must be BAD. God, what a douche.

Shia is actually a really good actor, he’s just a douche.

He is such a sad loser. I’m sure he gets drunk every evening. Because he is sad and depressed all the time for no reason. He will end up in rehab sooner or later.

  18. Giselle says:

This kid has been careening down douche alley for years. If he keeps looking for fights, he will continue to get his ass kicked. Too bad he hasn’t learned his lesson. He is obviously on drugs or abusing alcohol. He keeps being given chances by Hollywood’s elite but the truth is that he doesn’t deserve the help. I think Spielberg learned the hard way, and Redford and Pitt will also learn the same way. Shia is toxic and really needs to enter a treatment facility.

  19. Vilodemeanus says:

It takes a real man to hold his liquor, and Shia’s never been able to drink and stay classy, NEVER. If he wasn’t making movies, he’d be a Valley blue collar gutter rat and he’s not able to be a man which is sad at his age. He can’t drink, so don’t drink because you just look like an ass who regularly gets his ass kicked and laughed at. Shia’s got some real problems, but the older he gets, the more people don’t like him. That’s not the public, that’s his own peers not liking or respecting him. More than a few people say “mothahfuckah” when he leaves a room, if you catch the drift. Yet low life women will still be with him, so cliche. He’s one of those men who will always have to pay, even a wife if he ever can find one.
