Kanye West went off on an amazing rant after he was heckled during a concert

wenn20929035

First of all, South Park brought back their beloved “Gay Fish” Kanye character last night – you can see the promo here at Gawker. People really loved South Park’s take on Kanye, and at this point, it really does seem like Kanye West’s rants are being written by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, right? Which brings me to this hilarious incident – Kanye was performing in San Antonio several days ago and he got heckled. What happened next is amazing.

Kanye West is never one to take things quietly. Example No. 18,543,327: a profane, and comparatively justified, rant directed at a rude attendee at his concert in San Antonio on Sunday night. And, because it’s 2013, the entire incident was captured on video.

The indignant fan annoyed at that the 36-year-old rapper for wearing a mask – you know, the same ones he’s been wearing for the entirety of his much-heralded “Yeezus” tour — throughout the show, and yelled at him to take it off.

“Now, you can see my face on the Internet, every mother—-ing day,” Kim Kardashian’s fiancé said. “I came here, I open up a mother—-ing mountain…and you tryin’ to tell me how to give you my art.”

West then went on to offer auto-tune defense of sorts, explaining that the mask was so he wouldn’t have to worry about how his face looked when people snapped photos with their cellphones to prove to prove that they had that close to him. He also took a little conversational detour to lump himself in with other famous Geminis – Notorious B.I.G., Miles Davis and Tupac Shakur — because that’s what he does.

The “Bound 2″ rapper then signaled to security to have the woman ejected from the show, to the cheers of thousands.

“Do I look like a mother—-ing comedian?” he said. “Don’t f*ing heckle me. I’m Kanye mother—-ing West.”

[From Page Six]

I’m including the video below – there’s no nudity or anything but it’s NSFW because of language. Bless the Yeezus. I love him, I really do. Nothing brightens my morning more than a good old-fashioned Yeezus rant especially when it includes phrases like “I open up a motherf—king mountain.” I know many of you are sick of him, but how can you not love his MESS?

He is such a prick. That is all.

    • velourazure says:

I find it QUITE easy not to love that mess. His mess is ridiculous and boring.

      • Decloo says:

Amen to that. It was painful to have to watch that less-than-five-minute clip. How can people sit through a whole concert of that mess. BORING.

  2. Evelyn says:

Kanye West can only do two things: produce other people’s songs and whine.
That’s right Yeezus, your clothes are ugly

    • Aussie girl says:

Be careful. 😉He may hear you and consider it heckling and close the mountain he has openned on you!!! He might be coming for you on his motor bike!! But don’t stress the mask he is wearing and Kim make it hard for him to see.😁

    • Jacqueline says:

Evelyn – he’s going to have you kicked out of her cause he owns the internet! Lol This guy sucks!!
I live in San Antonio. I didn’t even know he was performing here until I read the stories about this after the fact. The venue was probably half-empty and that’s why he could hear her over his production.

  3. blue marie says:

Ha, he’s … something. I’m seriously starting to consider that it’s a contest between him and PMK as to who can pull the most headlines. Imma’ let you run the Kardashian brand but no one puts Kanye in the corner.

  4. TheOriginalKitten says:

I’m surprised people still find his antics entertaining honestly.
It’s really formulaic and predictable at this point.

    *shrugs*

    • LadyMTL says:

I’m with you, it’s like we can’t go 3 days without another “OMG shocking!!” Kanye rant. It’s not entertaining, it’s getting a bit pathetic, like he constantly needs the attention. Oh wait, he probably does, lol.

    • tinyfencer says:

THIS EXACTLY. So Kanye went on a delusional rant, and Kim wore ugly, unflattering clothes. In other news, water is wet and the sky is blue. This is the absolute last post I click on about these morons.

    • Tiffany :) says:

I agree, 100% TOK. Kanye has become incredibly predictable.

What I did find surprising was how much South Park’s episode moved me! It was about women and photoshop and the internet (using Kanye’s girlfriend as an example of the extremely unrealistic results). Wendy refused to subscribe to the trend of the trashy, hyper-sexual selfie….until the whole world turned against her.

The end of the episode she was the last little girl who didn’t do this to her self…but there she was, photoshopping her own picture with bigger boobs, tiny waist, tons of extensions and make-up while tears slid down her face. She uploaded it as the tears poured down and quitely walked out of the room, defeated.

      • idk says:

Wow I wish I had watched the episode…sad but this is reality. I wonder if Kim and Kanye will react. Kim probably feels honored she was even mentioned in a South Park episode and the meaning behind the story probably flew right over her head…either that or she’ll deny ever being photoshopped.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

Whoa! Sounds heavy for South Park…
It’s such a poignant topic though-glad they decided to touch on that, especially in the context of Photoshopped, Surgeried mess that is the Kardashians.

      • Tiffany :) says:

idk, I agree, that K&K will probably view it as a “win” for them even being mentioned.

I agree that it is reality…but it also made me realize that this is a reality that we are all contributing to and allowing to happen. This is the world we are making for ourselves and the next generation.

      • idk says:

        @ Tiffany 🙂

Agreed…and you’d think Kim would be concerned as her daughter IS the next generation.

  5. K-rock says:

I find ZERO appeal. He’s an annoying blowhard who is always angry and mean. No charisma whatsoever. What Kim sees in him I will never know. I refuse to watch the video. He is nauseating.

    • snakecharmer says:

his fits and rants were novel like 5 or six years ago. now he’s not doing anything new. he is a genius, ok? so the general public can judge his work on a higher level. this phase of kanye is tired, he needs to come at us with something fresh.

  6. Jaded says:

How DARE he compare himself to Miles Davis?! Now there was perfection – a total prick in real life but my god what talent!! What an impossible little wanker he is.

  7. Nicolette says:

From some of the self-important comments he’s been making lately it’s a wonder the world ever managed to exist before he came along. We’re just not worthy to be on the same planet as him people.

  8. Kiddo says:

The rants are part of the act: Ad-libing rants. I hope the fan got her money back, he can toss her out, but she shouldn’t lose money over it. Or maybe she was a plant.
Also, he is not Biggie or Miles Davis. But whatever, same ol’, same ol’. The Mr. Kardashian tour travels on.

    • MonkSolo says:

I hate the fact that we have to even consider the possibility that it was a plant… the music industry these days being such a fake pile of crap (hello Beyonce?)

      • Kiddo says:

“Music Industry” is such misnomer, it seems. So little of what is big is not about the music at all.

  9. Anna says:

    “I open up a motherf—king mountain.”
LOL omg best Kanye quote ever.

    • Jessiebes says:

He thinks he is Mozes from the bible now? What is next, dividing the ocean?

    • RMJ says:

He’s being literal! His stage is a mountain in part and it does open up. It’s pretty impressive.

      • Jessiebes says:

It may look impressive, but behind it are hard working techicians, engineers, etc. Its definately not his super power or his magical abilities doing that.

    • Tracy says:

This guy and his delusions. I would pay good money to hear a private conversation between Kanye and Kim. Two of the most delusional people on the planet…. can you even imagine???

      • snickers says:

there probably wouldn’t be any words with more than two syllables when they talk to each other. otherwise Kim wouldn’t understand!

    • Nerd Alert says:

I’m partial to “books be too wordy.”

    • idk says:

Just imagine when his daughter is a teenager and starts mouthing off and talking back to him…how will he handlie it? Also, I wonder what the arguments between Kim and Kanye are like.

I can’t imagine how this guy deals with traffic jams, or having to wait in long lines at the DMV, or wherever. No wonder he dropped out of college, he probably thought he knew more than the professors.

  10. annaloo. says:

After the Yeezus tour, he will release an album of lullabies and nursery rhymes. Just wait.

  11. Jessiebes says:

He is always talking about the power he has. Did he evolve into some super human? Like the x- men? Otherwise I don’t see it. If he had any power with the public, that is dwindling fast.

    • Aussie girl says:

      Kanye + Scientology = epic

      Lol, could you imagine ??

      • Tulip Garden says:

I would love this….it would hurry along the demise of each so win win! 🙂

On reflection, no, I wouldn’t even wish that on Kanye.

      • Heather says:

For the sake of North I NEVER want this to happen. But the part of me that loves being entertained would be all over this omg.

      • DailyNightly says:

Can you just picture his auditing sessions? The stream of crap that flows from his mouth might be enough to bring down the entire cult!

    • Jessiebes says:

It’s just too bizarre. His stage effects are done by hard working technicians, engineers, sound effect, light effect people, etc. Yet he claims it is done by his “power”. He really thinks he is Jesus and that he can perform miracles.

      • idk says:

Next he’ll be announcing that North was conceived through immaculate conception and that God chose Kim because she is the most beautiful woman of all time.

  12. Dimebox says:

His ensemble looks like an amateurish copy of a GoT costume.

  13. Snappyfish says:

I like the style of Kim’s coat & it pains me greatly to admit that

  14. Dawn says:

This dude seems like he’s gotten a free pass from the world to say anything he wants to say about any group and he gets away with it. Why? I can’t imagine what would have happened if Justin Timberlake said some of the crap that comes out kanye West mouth, he’d be ruined. I just don’t understand people not getting that the guy is 36 years old, well on his way to 37 and he knows exactly what he is saying and he is NOT trolling he believes it all. As far as the fan I hope she got her money back. He is such a little boy and no wonder Kim refers to him as “her baby” because he is many things but a man is not one of them. He is such a tiresome jerk.

    • feebee says:

Oh I think no-one wants the whole Kanye shit brought down on them personally. He’d totally go after whoever had the balls to call him on it. Except maybe the President. I think Kanye held off the nuclear option with his ‘jackass’ observation.

    • Lee says:

THIS. I can’t imagine any other celebrity saying one of the many hateful things he says towards other groups and not being skewered by the media, their fan base, sponsors, etc. Some of his music is catchy, but I’m so disgusted by him a person that I always change the station when it comes on. He just seems like a nasty, mean spirited individual.

I mean if he’s so “great” and has so much power why doesn’t he use more of it to help his community, to help those in need, instead of complaining about how no one takes his leather baby onesies seriously?

  15. swack says:

Another day, another rant. Must have been low attendance for him to hear the heckler. He really needs to learn to let these comments go.

  16. ladybert62 says:

You are right about one thing – I am sick of him and her.

  17. lulu1 says:

OK, OBVIOUSLY this is a set-up; it’s part of the act. He ‘gets annoyed’ and autotune rants at some point every performance, while the piano plays quietly, and he compares himself to someone above himself during every performance (Mandela, Vuitton, Obama, Jesus, Miles Davis – whoever).
It’s clearly contrived, it’s the two elements, the same pattern every show.
Can we stop pretending we’re surprised? It’s an ACT, and he must be laughing his way to the bank wondering how long everyone is going to be shocked.
The only thing that would shock now would be a performance without this part of the act.

    • A Different Kate says:

I agree that at this point Kanye is just trolling, but I don’t think it is translating into big $. His concert tickets are not selling outside of major markets (NY, LA, Chicago). His album didn’t do very well. His “fashion” line, well, I don’t know who his customers are, but they need their eyes checked. I really think this is a last gasp kind of thing, taken from the Kardashian playbook — any pub is good pub because it keeps you in the news.

      • lulu1 says:

Perhaps you are right – I don’t really understand how internet hits make real money, but I see that the Kanyashians take up space in the Daily Mail every day, usually about three articles on them. Perhaps everyone is waiting to watch them burn up spectacularly – I guess I am – but if there is a tangible value to internet hits, they’re doing pretty well for themselves..

      • The Original G says:

Kanye Kardashian is just trolling. And I’m not even going to concern troll him. This may be one of the most spectacular backfires ever. Good thing those two crazy kids have a few bucks in the bank to tide them over.

    • Val says:

This is an interesting point, and I suspect you’re right to a certain extent. I wonder if he’s really done it at every single show?
In any case, it isn’t working… sure it shocks people, but it’s just making everyone hate him, and he’s not breaking any new artistic ground by it. It’s lame and it falls completely flat; the proof is in the sales and concert tickets.

  18. Mandy says:

    He is so exhausting.

  19. Tiffany says:

I never understood people logic to pay money to be a heckler. Crowd participation is one thing but just to be the center of attention like that…

    • Han says:

There are hecklers at every show. I have been to kanye gigs in the past and people heckled him, same thing happened at other gigs . Its when people can’t handle it and start ranting at the audience it becomes embarrassing.

    • lulu1 says:

Well……I’m tempted! Can you imagine a Celebitchy Heckling Club crashing a Kanye Koncert??

      We could have such fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. dorothy says:

    He’s a joke.

  21. Wendy says:

That south park episode hit the nail on the head. I just posted in the KK thread asking if anyone else saw it. I hope it hits home for KK/Yeezus because everything south park said was true.

    • Nerd Alert says:

I thought it was spot-on as well!

    • Tiffany :) says:

I posted up thread about the episode.
The ending with the little girl silently crying while she photoshopped her picture was so powerful to me. I thought it was a pretty profound observation about how the ways society views women is changing for the worse in the internet culture we are in.

    • Lady D says:

I’ve never felt sorry for a cartoon character before. It was too easy to picture an actual 9-year-old doing that.

  22. Nerd Alert says:

South Park was hilarious last night! It was all about KimK and photoshop. Wendy said KK is a hobbit (w/o photoshop) so they brought Kanye in to defend her and he couldn’t. He kept calling her and saying, “bitch, how you not a hobbit again?” I loved it. South Park has had a really good season, but maybe I’m biased because Trey and Matt come from my home town.

Anyhow. Fishsticks. That’s all I have to say about real-life Kanye.

    • Wendy says:

It was so good, and I love how everyone just calls Wendy a hater. That’s what all KK/Miley/whoever lovers say when someone calls them out on their bullsh*t. They go “you just hate KK because she’s rich/famous/successful/whatever” Looooved this episode. PS I love your avatar Nerd Alert!

      • Nerd Alert says:

        Thanks!

I loved the hater thing, too. Or they kept asking if she was jel/jelly. I laughed so hard at that because we say that all the time at my house (jokingly of course)–someone just being a hater and being totes jelly, or call each other an internet bully when they say something we don’t like (in person).

    • Dommy Dearest says:

I’ve watched most of the season but last night was THE BEST. I was laughing through the entire episode. I’m now convinced Kim was exiled by Bibo and Gandalf when she spoke of removing her body hair.

      • Wendy says:

The ending was kinda sad though… it just ended and I was like “damn…”

      • Nerd Alert says:

OK now I’m trolling my own thread but whatever…

Mr. Mackey has been so spot-on this season, especially last night. “It’s never mmmkay to be a hater, mmmkay?” The other best character this season is Butters, especially his GoT wiener rants; they’re perfect.

I was sad after last night’s ending and my boyfriend was all, “that’s real life, though,” and he’s right. That’s the point of the show at the end of the day: to be a social commentary. Sigh.

      • Tiffany :) says:

I thought the ending was really sad.
I thought it was so ON POINT that none of the boys were photoshopping themselves….it was just for the girls. The one girl who resisted being hypersexualised was tormented for it and eventually caved to pressure.

I would rather read a post about that episode than Kanye’s part in it! I feel like Kanye and KK were used to make a bigger point.

  23. Elisabeth says:

I can’t wait till his daughter hits the terrible twos and then they are both throwing hissy fits. Kim Kardashian will be at the drs botoxing her brain so she doesn’t have to deal with any of this nonsense.

    • DailyNightly says:

Lol! North and Kanye will be fighting over his jeweled facemask and both laying on the floor kicking and screaming when Kim takes it away!

  24. Dommy Dearest says:

What was that Gayfish? Don’t you have your hobbit hole to return to with your Hobbit fiance?

  25. feebee says:

Does he do ANYTHING at his shows without auto tune? Even when he announced Kim’s pregnancy it was in auto tune. Is that why he’s tone deaf to all the shit he says?

    • Nerd Alert says:

I was betting he’d propose in autotune.

    • ann h says:

My ears practically bleed when I hear auto tone. It’s just an artificial voice from a machine.
It’s like fingernails on a chalkboard.
It might be different for me if I liked the sound, but it’s just awful.

  26. Miss_anne says:

He is a talented man. His albums are amazing and he’s a poet. But I put Kanye in the tom cruise/Rihanna category: enjoy his art, don’t get sucked into the tabloid gossip and questionable decisions they make in their personal lives. Just enjoy the talent they share.

    • Decloo says:

Kanye’s “Art?” Are you kidding? He’s a poet?

    • Dawn says:

Kanye doesn’t write poetry that I’ve read. Bruce Springsteen’s lyrics are like poetry but Kanye West not so much. If putting a mask over your head and using autotune is art I think the art world is in huge trouble because anyone can do that and furthermore I think the whole incident was staged just so he could get applause. This has been a dud of a tour and everyone knows it.

  27. Melanie says:

I didn’t think there was any “celebrity” I could possibly loathe more than KK . . . until now, that is. This guy is a complete and utter DB.

  28. Cristina says:

The South Park episode was amazing, loved it! I laughed so hard :))
As for his rant, I don’t care for this stuff anymore. I don’t even want to watch it. He is exhausting.

New info on Kim’s mustard ensemble. She Instagramed it and described it as “#AllGoldEverything”
Which brings me back to your hilarious Golden Shower Chic comment :))

  29. BravoCueen says:

His concert in my area was cancelled. The announcement didn’t say but it was likely due to lack of sales.

I can’t imagine paying for parking to go see him, much less his ridiculously priced tickets.

  30. Jay says:

Be shocking, get in the news. It’s Lady Gaga’s tactic and motive. The solution is the same too: ignore them and make their efforts pointless.

  31. Amy says:

After she was ejected I imagine people were clapping more for him to stop yelling and get back to the show. No one has time for this crap.

  32. bros says:

kim looks like she’s auditioning for something in Dick Tracy.

    • wolfpup says:

It seems that Kanye is a sensitive soul, who has a very great need to protect it. I wonder what it’s like to have an argument with him in private!!! Kim’s expressions seem to be mirroring his.

  33. MonkSolo says:

If he doesn’t take off the mask, how do you even know it’s him and not some body double?

  34. Jane says:

His reason for the mask doesn’t even make sense. He is worried about how his face looks when people are close and snap pictures? Really?? He is that vain? Well, of course he is, what a dumb question on my part.

Is he going to wear a mask at all concerts in the future (if he has a future)? Is he going to wear a mask whenever he is out in public?

As for Kaiser’s question, no I do not love this MESS. I truly think the man needs help, big time. Right now he is probably piling it on to get publicity for his tour, but there is a core of genuine distortion of reality that is a little scary.

  35. LahdidahBaby says:

In teenytiny cowardly voice: I agree with Kaiser. Can’t help it, I love him. He’s an asshole, I know, I know, but he’s also a huge talent and also, he amuses me.

  36. Me says:

all that autotune and he still cant sing :/ i would demand my money back && what is up with him looking like an extra from mad max

  37. BeckyR says:

He isn’t an “artist”. He is a JOKE!

  38. renata says:

I would really like it if someday a website was started purely for the purpose of attempting to figure out what mental illness this guy suffers from. There”s got to be a name for this, right?

  39. Just Sayin says:

I listened to the Sway interview from 11-27-13 these out bursts are nothing new other than the mental illness that seems to afflict him is increasing. His behavior these days is more aggressive and erratic. He is just late night stop away from infamy…. Just Sayin.

  40. Amelia says:

The guy should calm down and realize that his job is not important, he is not a doctor e.g who saves lives, he is just a rich rapper, an entertainer… hardly a noble profession.
