Brad Pitt & Shia LaBeouf pose together on the English set of ‘Fury’: interesting?

fury2

Here are some new photos of Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf and some other cast members of the World War II movie Fury. These pics came from David Ayer’s Twitter feed – he’s been posting set photos for weeks, but I think this is the first time we’ve ever seen Brad’s face. I have a question – this film production seems to have been going on forever, right? How long has Brad been in England filming this junk? Since September, right? Hm. Of course, the production has had some breaks in the schedule – Brad spent part of the Thanksgiving holiday in Australia with Angelina and the kids, after all.

Anyway, I don’t really have much to say about these pics. Brad’s vibe here is a lot like his vibe in Inglorious Basterds too. I’ll admit that I sort of dismissed Brad’s part in Basterds before I had actually seen the film – I just thought it sounded too weird, but once I saw the film, he was sort of perfect in that very specific Tarantino way. But Fury is not a Tarantino film. So I don’t get it. I also doubt that Shia and Brad get along, which is what the tabloids have been saying.

Brad turns 50 years old on Wednesday. Do you think he’ll get the day off? Will Angelina fly to England to surprise him and they’ll have hot WWII-set sex? Probably not. I mean, he’ll probably be in England, working. Maybe someone will bring him a cake and a pack of cigarettes. Sigh…

Does ANYONE get along with Shia LaBeouf??? My Brad is looky very manly and hot in these pics…yummy!

  2. Tulip Garden says:

Pitt was excellent in Inglorious Bastards.

    • Lopusta says:

Brad was great in that movie. His accent was a killer he totally nailed it.

    • doofus says:

he was, and that was one of the few (recent) movies where, for me, he wasn’t “Brad Pitt doing a character”, which is what so many movie stars have become. because we are bombarded with information about their personal lives, it’s sometimes hard for me to see the character on screen as opposed to the actor up there.

but in this one he was Aldo Raine, not Pitt doing an accent. it’s so refreshing when an actor nails a role AND makes you “forget” the actor at the same time.

      • Tulip Garden says:

That’s a very good point. With the very high profile movie stars, it is hard to separate them from their larger-than-life personas. With Inglorious Bastards, Pitt was working with a good director and great script, that coupled with his performance let me see past “Brad Pitt” and into Aldo. Also, love his “Jeffrey” from 12 monkeys. With WWZ, Brad Pitt was saving the world and I couldn’t tell you who he played. Of course, the blockbusters are a different animal entirely, anyway.

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

See, I guess I’m alone in that, but that kind of thing doesn’t affect me. I could know every dirty little secret of Daniel Day Lewis–and it wouldn’t change my mind about whether or not he’s a good actor. If he’s good, he’s good. Knowing how many women he’s dated in his life doesn’t affect his performance for me at all. You have to be really bad (or annoying) for me to not watch your film.

      • doofus says:

Tulip – he was great in 12 monkeys and in Fight Club, too. (side note: just watched Thelma and Louise and he was SO young in that, just a pup!) haven’t seen WWZ (though it looks worth watching) so I can’t give an opinion on that one.

VC – I understand what you’re saying. though Sean Penn is a TOTAL A-HOLE in real life, I think he’s a good enough actor that his ROLE is what I see, not him. (BF was watching Gangster Squad and he was great in that.)

but Cruise is another one that I can’t see past for ANY role. whoever he’s playing, all I see is the bat-sh*t crazy cult leader in lifts.

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

        @doofus
I see what you mean with Tom Cruise and Sean Penn. Whenever I watch any of his old movies (because God knows I’m not going to watch the crap he has out now–he’s just making money for that cult), I get all sad and realize what a nutball he is–but he’s still good.

Sean Penn—God. I saw ‘Up At the Villa’–that man is as charming as the devil. I also saw him in 21 Grams–the sex scene between him and Naomi Watts–I can see why Robin kept going back to him. But God, he is a angry, violent d-ckbag. I probably wouldn’t pay to go see any of his films now, but I would watch it if it came on, or someone else had it.

      • Faith says:

VC,that stuff doesn’t affect me too.Angelina is the only movie star whose personal life interest yet I find her an amazing actress. Her face might make me buy the movie but 2-3 minutes into the movie and I forget its her,I just start seeing the character.

  3. Aims says:

I can’t believe that’s what 50 looks like. Good lord!!

  4. Sue says:

Well – um – this poor man has just been begging for an oscar for years now. It is getting really sad. I realize that he hopes to get one with 12 Years – but that is not really his oscar – there are multiple producers on every movie. Of course he has the media talking like it is his Oscar he is so desperate. So here he is again- away from his family for months on end – trying to get an acting oscar. Desperate much? If he wanted children so badly he cried about this on national TV – why is he away from them for months at a time. He really needs to get his act together and figure out what is important in life and gain some self-respect. I have never seen an acter this desperate for an Oscar.

    • Cecilia says:

      Desperate people do desperate things.

      • Maya says:

@Cecilia: so true – that is why Jennifer Aniston strips off her clothes on every single of her movies to get attention. It’s not like she has any talent to back up on and to carry her through to the next decade.

    • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

Are you kidding? This is the first time that he and his family have been separated for more than a few days–like it was said before, Angelina wasn’t supposed to start filming Unbroken until January 2014, but the schedule was moved up. It’s hardly either of their fault’s that their schedules collided for the first time in EIGHT years. Plus from what’s been told in the media and the pics we’ve seen–they’ve been trading off on the kids. For a while there, Brad had the four older ones, and Angelina had the twins. I think the older kids are still w/Angelina, but I have no clue.

And where did you get the idea that he was trying to get an acting Oscar for ‘Fury’? It’s not even out yet. And I’d hate to see what you think is desperate for an Oscar, if your definition of desperate for an Oscar is a person actually fulfilling their contract and going to work like a grown up does.

      • Promise says:

Come on VC,you shouldn’t have replied no one should. You can tell someone who desperate for replies by their comments.Just let it be.

      • Promise says:

Come on VC,you shouldn’t have replied no one should. You can tell someone who is desperate for replies by their comments.Just let it be.

    • ANDREA1 says:

      Sue
I hope you are aware that Brad has had the kids in England. Well no no no on another note you don’t deserve to be given any explanation.. I think its best to just ignore your rant
As for Cecila always jumping on the bandwagon of anything negative when it comes the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at this point it has become very pathetic

    • Maya says:

@ Sue: what are you smoking? Just because someone hasn’t got an Oscar it doesn’t mean that they don’t have any acting talent or just because someone has an Oscar it doesn’t mean that they deserved it.

Brad is one of the most powerful actor in Hollywood – he can get any movie greenlit, he could have campaigned for the Oscars the four times he was nominated but unlike some Brad doesn’t campaign. Leo Di hasn’t got an Oscar as well so is he desperate for one as well? Is that why he is hanging out with women because he is desperate? The late Peter O’Toole was nominated for Oscars 8 times – calling him desperate as well?

As for the fact that Brad is in UK while Angie is in Aus – you JP haters are becoming really desperate aren’t you? Several people have provided links etc where it clearly states that Unbroken was supposed to start filming in Jan 2014 but for some unforeseen circumstances it was pushed forward. Despite the fact that Brad & Angie will be living apart for a few months they still managed to fly after a few weeks in between to see one another – that’s called love and commitment. Unlike some other couple who stays in the same country but have been together for months but just turned up recently for photo ups – the JPs are actually taking the time to be with each other despite their hectic schedule.

    • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@Sue (who I ‘know’ is just trolling, but really), who wrote: “So here he is again- away from his family for months on end – trying to get an acting oscar. Desperate much? If he wanted children so badly he cried about this on national TV – why is he away from them for months at a time.”

Now, Sue, are you just casting crap out there hoping it will stick–casting shade at Brad Pitt on just your opinion alone–or do you have anything to back up your shade? If not (especially if others come behind you with proof that you’re wrong), then you’re not expressing an opinion, you’re perpetrating a lie; which is SO ‘uncool.’

    • vestra says:

If you think Brad is desperate, you should look at George Clooney, Kate Winslet, Natalie Portman, Leo DiCaprio, Anne Hathaway and several others who spend MILLIONS a year on publicists and are always grossly obvious in grubbing for awards. Fine- their choice how they spend their time and money. Brad has NO PR, so clearly he is far less desperate than so many of peers. I like that he Angie have better things to spend their money on than liars and spin doctors- very admirable!

      • Florc says:

        +1
Ultimately any Brad or Jolie post brings out that passive aggressive Aniston supporters… I’d say one can dislike Brad and Angelina without being seen praising Ansiston on this site, but I have yet to see it..

      • ANDREA1 says:

Vestra you win the internet today.
        Poor Sue and Cecilia 🙁

      • Lopusta says:

It seems to Me like Sue and Cecila just dropped their comments without even thinking clearly and then they both ran off.

    • Evyn says:

He may not have an Oscar, but at least he was nominated for one, unlike a lot of other actors.
These crazy rants crack me up. First, you say he is wahed up and can’t get any work in HW, and now you complain about him working too much “chasing an Oscar.”
Pick one delusional idea, and stick with it.

    • LadySlippers says:

Oh Sue! You nailed it! Which is why so many service members ‘choose’ to be apart from their families too. It’s obviously because they don’t care…… And don’t try the ‘it’s different’ cope-out.

Sorry, I hate this type of ‘reasoning’ as it’s complete BS. Sometimes, just sometimes, even loving couples/families have to do what their not nuts about. Why? It’s called life.

Everyone, I know I’m known to be even tempered but even a Lady gets angry sometimes. And this reasoning makes me boil because I have heard it used before when I was a military spouse.

      Grrrrr…

      *clenches leaves in anger*

  5. Algernon says:

    ICU, Michael Pena.

Also, if they’ve been shooting since September, it’s just been 3 months. 3-6 months to make a movie is the average. Given the recreation of battles and factoring in crappy English winter weather, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re still filming into 2014.

  6. Dawn says:

Call me crazy but the picture of Brad with the cigg in his mouth is incredibly hot to me! I love this guy with shorter hair. And I will go see this movie because of Brad.

    • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

I’m actually digging Brad a bit more as he gets older. I’ve always thought he was handsome, but he’s too all American, stereotypical handsome for me. He was too pretty for a while.

Oh, and from what I hear from a few relatives from Tennessee his accent was spot on (in Inglorious Basterds–his character was from Maynard, Tennessee).

  7. ANDREA1 says:

Brad looks mighty fine for a 50 year old man.

  8. Faith says:

Kaiser, can we get an Angelina-only post?Besides Brad looks good ,I wish my hubby would look this good at 50.

  9. Dani2 says:

Brad looks pretty hot here but I’m here for my imaginary bf, Logan Lerman. He’s so sweet and he’s such a good example of how to successfully transition from child star to adult actor without trying too hard to prove to people that you’re grown up. I’m really interested in seeing this movie when it eventually comes out even though Shia LaDouche is in it.

  10. Promise says:

Never thought I’ll say this about Jolie’s relationship with Brad, but she is one lucky bitch.

  11. laird817 says:

TANKS!! Very cool. David Ayer is a pretty dark dude- this should be very cool.

  12. Grant says:

He does look wicked hot all rugged and grimy like this but all I can think about are those reports of him being really stinky…

  13. Summer says:

Awww…. Look how cute Logan Lerman is!!

  14. Anna says:

Brad looks realllllly good in this uniform LOL
I’m so excited for this movie!

  15. lisa2 says:

The other cast members on Twitter have been posting that they will be home for Christmas. Not sure when it is wrapping but I’m sure they will celebrate when they are all together.

can’t believe Brad is 50.. Gorgeous man inside/out,

  16. Maggie says:

I thought Brad Pitt was awesome in Inglorious Bastards. It was a surprise because I didnt think I would even enjoy the movie. On another note…….my husband is the same age as Brad Pitt and far better looking. Women leave notes on his windshield and my girlfriends flirt with him all of the time. Lucky me!

    • Kim1 says:

Really? Well I think it is disrespectful to flirt with a married man but different strokes for different folks.Lucky you I guess their husbands flirt with you as well.

Congrats to Brad,Plan B ,TYAS cast for 13 Critics Choice noms. Also Brad nominated for Best Actor in Action Film for WWZ

    • Maya says:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder just because you think your husband is better looking than Brad – it doesn’t mean that he is (no offence to your husband).

Second of all I find it weird that you say your are lucky because your husband is supposedly good looking for his age and your girlfriends flirts with him. Shouldn’t you say that your are lucky because he is a good man etc and not base your luck on his looks?

It seems to me that you are only focusing on someone’s outer beauty than on their inner beauty. Kind of vain aren’t you?

      • Maggie says:

Oh FFS! You’re right looks are subjective. In my opinion my husband is much better looking. I’m flattered that other women find him handsome as well. I’m lucky because he’s salt of the earth and he loves me unconditionally. Not because he’s good looking. Unfortunately he doesn’t have Pitt’s bank account. He’s rich in other ways though. Does that clarify it for you?

      • Holly says:

Maya. That was the most unintentionally hilarious post I’ve read in a long while. Just WOW.

      • Promise says:

Jesus Christ! Maya.We don’t know if her husband is more good looking but its nice that she finds him more good looking.Whats wrong with girls flirting with him? Its flattering,,lucky you Maggie.Angelina is prettier than my sister but i would never say otherwise.

    • LadySlippers says:

Is this the Maggie I chat with on another board???!

Regardless of whether or not I ‘know’ you, as long as your hubby treats you like a Queen then I think you’re one hell of a lucky woman no matter what your hubby looks like!

      🙂

  17. Barbara says:

I am a fan of Brad. That said I used to be a fan of Shia but his violent personal life is overshadowing his career. Don’t you feel that he is always on the edge of insanity? He will implode, it is just a matter of time…tick tick

  18. Kim1 says:

David labels every pic this pic was Day 52 of shooting, film will be wrapping this week accordiing to tweets from actors.Maybe for good because some actors say they are headed to LA or other projects.
As others have mentioned during ten weeks of shooting Brad had twins with him for three weeks and four older kids were with him for four weeks.I won’t name other actors who have actually been away from their kids for MONTHS.Also I won’t directly reply to the ill informed posters posting lies.
    BTW Brad look HOT

  19. mkyarwood says:

I dunno, they’re not exactly posing ‘together’, haha. Brad is definitely leaning a little to the right away from the line.

  20. LoLoL says:

What an excellent partner and father. The mother of his children removes her breasts to stop the cancer gene and Pittstain puffs away hoping to get lung cancer. Yep he sure is a wonderful father AND partner, NOT. Oh well, it’s not like he’s raising Angelina’s kids anyway. He’s just dad in name for good Pr as the yacht photos prove.

Yeah, smoking cancer sticks is soooo sexy, but I sometimes I forget how Pittstains fans give him pass after pass for his shady-ness.

Also I agree with Sue. He is desperate for that oscar. The late great Peter O’toole said Pitt is a “fair” actor but nothing to rave about and he was right. lololol.

Shia will get an oscar for his acting before Pittstain does.

  21. Marianne says:

    Shia looks gross.

    But Logan <3

  22. Soulsister says:

LOL. At the idiotic ramblings of one of Aniston’s delusional fans.

    • Kim1 says:

@ LOL is delusional but she is not an Aniston fan.She just hates Brad and the fact that Angie has kids with him.She is probably fuming that Brad received multiple CC noms for WWZ and TYAS.The more success he has the more bitter @LOL gets.I LOVE IT

  23. Katherine says:

What’s not to get? He’s in a war movie and that’s what people in war look like. Well, except that it’s what a gorgeous creature like Brad Pitt looks like in battle. I’m excited for the film because I like the subject matter as well.

The idea that Brad Pitt is desperate for an Oscar is laughable. If that had been in any way true he might have fought for it back with The Departed. But as almost everyone in the industry knows, Pitt has never really cared about that stuff.

  24. lucy2 says:

He really looks like Benecio Del Toro in that first pic.

I can’t stand Shia. He seems like more trouble than he’s worth, in terms of hiring him for projects.

  25. Jessica says:

Logan Lerman is in this film apparently–he’s on the far right in both photos.

  26. Sam H x says:

I don’t care about his age, I think Brad is a very attractive man, he’s a good father to his kids and partner too which just adds to the attraction even more.

I was ashame to find out Michael Pena is part of the crazy a*s cult that Cruise is a part of.
