  1. Why does she keep talking about adopting and just do it? Looks like she’s trying to make herself look good.

  2. She might not be ready for it.. There’s a lot of wisdom in planning these things out. She also said that if she doesn’t have one naturally, then she would consider it.

  3. country babe - you complain about Angelina adopting, then you complain about Jessica Simpson and Halle Berry not adopting - do you even know what your own opinion is?

  4. Good for her if she is comfortable thatsuch private events of her past life known by everyone. She seems not to know the limits… We are not her psy…

  5. I say kudos to her for being strong enough to share something that she could easily be lambasted by non-self-aware jackasses for. If more people opened up about their mental health issues and successful recovery then perhaps the stigma of seeking help in the form of therapy would finally die and we’d have a vastly healthier society. I’ve always liked Miss Berry but I’m gaining a whole new respect for her in light of her candid honesty. Bravo Halle, well done.

  6. I have always had a soft spot for Halle, and I think that she TOTALLY deserved her Oscar (especially since she convincingly portrayed having the hots for Billy Bob), but now, like Cupcake, I have even more respect. I can totally understand her reasoning, or lack therof, and I think it will help a lot of people to be so candid about her troubles. Women, especially young women, often think that if they were rich, famous, and beautiful, their lives would be problem-free. If nothing else, Halle helps burst that dangerous bubble.

  7. I don’t know, I haven’t had any respect for her since her hit and run.

  8. Damn. We could have been rid of this no talent hack a long time ago. Too bad she reconsidered.

I wish Hollywood would get it through their head that pretty does not equal talent. Then maybe we could see some actaully talented black actresses on our movie screens.

    Maybe one day.

  9. I’m with Carol on this one. Actually I lost all respect for Ms. Berry for making Catwoman.

  10. bgirl, I see you don’t read. i see it for how it is. I can see good things in Angelina. I said at least she went ahead and did it, instead of talking about it in 20 publications. Halle is is 40 already. As for Jessica if you watched the show you could see Jessica wanted a kid an Nick didn’t. Watch he ends up with one before she gets one.
