I am a huge GND fan, but I don’t foresee myself really getting into this one. For me, the appeal of the girls was due in part to the way they all interacted. That aside, bringing cameras in to film your relationship never seems to bode well for the future (i.e., Carmen and Dave, Nick and Jessica, Whitney and Bobby).

Kudos to Aspen: as a young woman who has already moved on from unsavory past incidents, your statement about how trying different roles on for size doesn’t make you a hypocrite, that we all (hopefully) evolve really spoke volumes to me.

I was forced to watch GND with my best friend, and was shocked to learn she even watched such garbage. HOWEVER, the damn show grew on me, and I found myself liking the girls. Totally unexplainable. Inexplicable. Without reason. Who knew?

I shamefully admit that I like the show as well. I love to watch it while I’m walking on my treadmill. Call me crazy.

And I don’t think Kendra has moved from Playboy bunny to ultra conservative christian because she’s ‘becoming an adult’. I think she morphs into whatever her surroundings happen to be at that moment.

It is in NO WAY hypocritical for a young woman to GROW UP and change her mind about how she wants to live.

I did many things in my youth that I will TRY to steer my daughter away from and would never again do, myself.

Young people try things and put on a lot of different roles to see what fits. Then…one day…they grow up.

There is no hypocrisy in becoming an adult.

I like Kendra. Despite my personal moral “issues” with their living arrangement, they all seem to be kind and amiable girls. I don’t know if I’ll see Kendra’s show since I would have to buy it on DVD after the season airs to view it…but I understand why other people would. Watching her makes you feel hope that she will turn out well and be happy.

The three women are what makes GND so appealing. They all have an unexpected sweetness to them. Of course, it helps that they are never shown getting too sexual with Hef. If you dwell on what goes on behind closed doors then, yeah, that’s kind of gross. (And, not anybody else’s business anyway)
