I used to subscribe to Sassy when she was editor in chief, and it was a fantastic magazine, really affirming to smart, creative young women. It had a lot of cutting-edge information, and I still refer to copies I've kept to this day. To find out that my one beloved, benoseringed, beBirkenstocked Sassy EIC is Howard Stern's go-to sensationalistic pseudo-lesbian? This one hurts. And before I'm flamed, it's not the lesbianism that offends me, it's that she name-dropped and exploited it to give HS a chubby and gain herself some ratings. Pathetic!
