Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt arrive back in LA with all six kids: did you miss them?

FFN_Pitt_Jolie_BJJ_020514_51322419

Praise the Oscar Gods, Brangelina is back in LA!! HUZZAH. Finally, some proper Oscar campaigning for 12 Years a Slave at long last. Do you realize how long it’s been since we’ve seen Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on a red carpet together? It was last summer, for World War Z. Do you know how long it’s been since they’ve done an awards season together? Not since early 2012. Too long.

(And, incidentally, this is the beginning of what should be an exciting year in Brangelina-watching: not only do we get 12 Years a Slave Oscar campaigning, but we’ll also get lots of Brangelina for the Maleficent promotion in a few months!)

So, I guess Angelina finally wrapped on Unbroken. That took a really long time, but to be fair to her, it’s a WWII drama with lots of location sets and period costumes and you have to get that stuff right. Brad and Angelina attended the wrap party earlier this week – there were some great photos floating around, which you can see here.

It’s nice seeing the kids here too. The very idea of traveling with six small children makes me break out in an anxiety rash, but they seem to manage pretty well. Pax with his kickass aviator shades and security toy (a purple bear?), Shiloh looking every bit the badass tomboy (her hair looks amazing), Vivienne looking every bit the girly-girl in her dress-leggings combo, Knox and Zahara holding hands, and of course Maddox with his buds in, trying to ignore his uncool family.

PS… Angelina travels in bold green shawls and flip-flops?! I love it.

    Their kids are adorable.

    • doofus says:

agree completely…so adorbs…and Shiloh is SO tall!

on a different note, here is another example how great Jolie looks in jewel tones. I wish she’d wear stuff like this more often instead of the standard black. though I can’t really complain as I wear tons of black, too. (it hides spills.)

      • ANDREA1 says:

@Doofus I agree with you I wish she would mix up colours sometimes. Seeing this green on her makes Me wish that. It looks great on her. I see the family is also picking on wearing blacks too. Brad too is mostly on blacks shiloh even Maddox and Pax.

      • dirtsa says:

Love the colour on her!! And I wish I could wear a scarf like that. Everytime I do it keeps slipping off, with me constantly having to tuck it back.. Any tips on how to wrap a pashmina??

      • lana86 says:

        great, smth nonblack! looks nice

      • doofus says:

to dirtsa: it looks like Jolie is using simple friction…that is, it looks like she just has it wrapped around, but I’ve seen people use a brooch or a decorative pin of some sort.

      • BooBooLaRue says:

@doofus, OMG just did my laundry this morning and while I love love love COLOR, i’m a clutz and all my clothes have stains. NO more eating in the car on the way to work!!!!

    • Regina Lynx says:

Holy sweet jeebus the kids have grown. I feel old.

How old was Angie when she first adopted, 27? Sheesh, if I want as much kids as she does, I better get to it!

      • B&A FN says:

Angie adopted MADD march 10 2002, MADD was seven months old. I’m thinking she started the process about a year before. I believe she should have been about 25 yo.

    • mommak918 says:

The whole family is beautiful. The kids are soooo adorable. And dang, Mr. Pitt is looking sexy. And I’m no Brangeloone…just stating the obvious.

  2. teri says:

I’ve missed the whole family. The kids are so adorable and so well behaved. Angelina looks beautiful as always but that green on her is breath taking. Love the JP family.

    • V4real says:

As opposed to who’s kids are not well behaved. I haven’t heard of any celebrity kids who are not well behaved. LOL

      • Kim1 says:

Well behaved may not be the right term but I’ve seen celeb kids having tantrums, sticking tongues out or kicking at or talking back to paparazzi.I would probably do the same thing.I have never heard of the JP kids Responding to paparazzi.I always watch the video of these scenes They were asking Brad about PSH death in front of these kids. They always stay focus keep moving, ignoring chaos, noise and make their exit.

  3. lenje says:

    Finally, some color! 😀

  4. Ferris says:

Angelina is rocking that green scarf. Color looks good on her.

    • Sullivan says:

Yes, she looks lovely in green. I don’t see anything wrong with her always wearing black. I get that it’s just plain easier. A jewel toned scarf or pashmina is really perfect for her.

      • Algernon says:

I have recently been debating transitioning to an all black, or at least achromatic, wardrobe. It would be SO much easier, and given that I like quality textiles yet am on a budget, it would make my closet a lot more flexible as more things would be versatile. As I’ve entered my thirties, I’ve just lost the will to make the effort to “look cute” every day. I’d rather just look pulled together and professional.

      • Kate says:

Agernon, do you ever go thrift shopping? If you find the right store, you’ll find some great bargains. I got a London fog trench coat with zip out lining for $10.00.

  5. teri says:

I’m also starting to like Brads hair.

  6. ANDREA1 says:

Yuzzah! They are back! Yes I missed them. Lovely family.

  7. Virgilia Coriolanus says:

I like her shawl thingy—-I wonder if it’s a different shade of green live, instead of in pictures. But I like the color—it seems like a gag gift that you’d get. Thank God she ditched those ballet flats with the tiny wedges…where she found those, I have no clue.

This is kind of OT—-but why do people knee jerk at the thought of traveling w/six kids (like them, for example)? I’m one of five, so I guess I’m used to it, but I don’t think that it’s THAT bad, I can attest to it. It’s a little chaotic, but if your kids are little brats, then that doesn’t help either.

And I’m someone who’s gone through 20 hour car rides, only stopping to eat and use the bathroom, and had to watch ‘The Lion King’ the whole way, because my youngest brother would start crying if you turned it off (I won’t watch that movie to this day because of it).

    • GiGi says:

Flying with kids is much different than driving with kids, though. We actually prefer to drive to our destinations these days (when possible) because it’s so much easier when the kids outnumber the parents, lol!

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

I would rather fly with six kids, than drive with six kids. Even in an Expedition i.e. plenty of room, by the end of it, my legs and butt were numb. Plus I couldn’t move much because we had stuff with us.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I had to read Green Eggs and Ham to my little brother so many times I knew it by heart. I would finish it and he would look all adorable and say “weed it again!” just over and over and over. It was worth it, though. Next to my husband, he’s my best friend in the world now.

Love the green scarf, too. I think it’s so funny/cute that you think it looks like a gag gift.

We went on 20 hour car trips with 4 kids and I am so jealous of your generation for being able to watch movies. We counted cows. Seriously. Whoever had more cows on their side of the road won. Yep. The good old days.

      • Isa says:

I’ve never flown with my kids but it would make me nervous trying to navigate the airport with all of them and not losing one.
Plus the plane ride-trying to keep them entertained and happy so they don’t bother other passengers.

      • littlestar says:

My siblings and I would play the “quiet game”! Hahahaha. On the few road trips we took as kids. It was mostly me being the oldest and not wanting to put up with my younger siblings chatter :).

    • Cheap Trick says:

Because people have seen HOME ALONE 1 & 2 and now they are scared to leave a kid behind?

    • V4real says:

Sometimes I perfer to drive with a car full of kids than adults. Some of my friends complain too much. But it’s much easier for Brad and Angie. If they’re not using private jets they most likely are flying first class. Also probably what is not pictured here are the nannies that are in their employ.
Angie does look vibrant with color but I get the black attire. 90% of my wardrobe is black. It’s a comforting color.

    • daisy says:

You may not have thought it was that bad but I’ll bet your parents would have a different opinion. My best friend has seven kids and she is counting the days until the last one is gone. They are nice kids too and she loves them, but can’t wait for them to be out of her house.

    • littlestar says:

It can be bad travelling with that many kids, trust me! My husband’s sister has 5 kids (ranging from 5-16). When we all go on family trips together, my husband and I AND his parents make sure we are on a different flights than the kids (yes, not even the grandparents want to help out with their grandchildren on a flight lol). The older kids are generally well behaved, but the 5 year can be an absolute monster who throws tantrums when he doesn’t get his way. I really do feel bad for the people on their plane rides who have had to put up with his fits. My sis-in-law and her husband are extremely lax when it comes to disciplining their kids.

It sounds like you and your siblings are well behaved though. I come from a family of 4. My family didn’t do much travelling really until we were all well into our teens, so it was a lot easier to travel that way as opposed to being a bunch of little children.

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

We weren’t little angels, but we also weren’t the ones who would throw temper tantrums if we couldn’t stop and get candy or go to a certain restaurant like *some* kids…coughmycousinscough…..

When my brother made us watch Lion King for 20 hours, he was only 4 or 5.

      • TG says:

Your story about no one wanting to fly with the kids made me laugh. Sounds like a family from a movie. LOL I don’t fly much only a few times a year with my toddler but I don’t hesitate to pull out as many blow pops as she wants. But, I am lucky because she is easy to entertain and can sit for long periods reading books or playing on her IPad if necessary.

  8. Stef Leppard says:

    Yes! I missed them.

  9. MrsBPitt says:

I know I am Brangeloonie…but I love seeing pics of this family! All the kids have gotten so big! I love the pics of Zahara and Knox holding hands and laughing…and Shiloh is getting so tall, and really beautiful…I can’t wait to see Brad and Angie on the red carpet!!!!

  10. Shijel says:

Beautiful children, truly, and I’m not even a kid person.

  11. NYC_girl says:

    Shiloh has the best haircuts!

    • ahoyhoy says:

Seems so weird to say about a 7-year old, but Shiloh J-P might be my spirit guide. She’s just SO much cooler, without trying, than I could ever be.

  12. GiGi says:

    Yup. Still love them!

  13. ANDREA1 says:

From the look of things Shiloh is going to be a very tall… She already is a tall kid.

    • GlimmerBunny says:

And VERY beautiful. Her face is already incredibly stunning!

I really love the whole family and I’m looking forward to seeing what Angelina wears to the Oscars (hopefully not another black dress.)

      • ANDREA1 says:

Yes she already has incredible facial features! Yes Angie on the red carpet I can’t wait. Am also hoping she pulls a surprise on us all and not wear black sack! 🙂

  14. nicole says:

I find it interesting how last week there was a story about Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard speaking out against publications that use photos of celeb kids. There were a lot of people on this blog agreeing with them and pointing out how scary the paparazzi can be and how the kids shouldn’t face scrutiny, even when it doesn’t seem to be predatory. And then there are posts like this a few days later with people saying they missed pics of the kids.

I’m not trying to rile up all the Brad and Angelina fans, my thought has nothing to do with them specifically, just the first post I noticed that specifically focuses a lot on the kids since that discussion.

    • V4real says:

Nope go ahead and rile it up because you’re right. This site is full of double standards and I will be the first to say myself included at times.

    • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

      I think you’re right.

I like seeing pics of the JP’s–but if we only saw pictures of them on the red carpets and official stuff, I wouldn’t mind that either.

    • Esmom says:

Good point but the fact is public interest in The Jolie-Pitt kids is in another stratosphere compared to the kids of most “average” celebs. I think no matter how much Brad and Angie tried to fight the paps, their battle will always be tougher than most.

Love these photos, what a lovely and happy-looking brood.

      • nicole says:

Like I said, my comment isn’t Jolie-Pitt specific, this was just the first post I noticed specifically addressing kids. There were immediately a number or responses stating how much people liked photos of them. There is just such a disconnect sometimes. How can you (not you specifically of course, I have no clue what your thoughts are) disagree with the paparazzi’s practices when it comes to invading kids privacy and then say “I love looking at these happy kids”?

Also, yes, they seem happy enough in this photo, but they are papped all the time, I don’t really follow their family specifically, but I’m sure those kids aren’t always so cool with having weird photographers try and take their photo every time they go outside. I’d be scared/frustrated/exhausted by it and I’m 31.

      • Esmom says:

@Nicole, I know, it is indeed a disconnect and I thought it was because the Jolie-Pitts are kind of in a league of their own. Rational thought sometime goes out the window with these folks.

I agree the kids aren’t thrilled with the paps but it’s all they’ve ever known so maybe that helps a bit? And maybe that’s one of the reasons they tend to be holding so tight to each other in shots we see, they’re just trying to run the gauntlet and then move on?

      • nicole says:

@Esmom Yes, you’re probably right. They are kind of celebrated to a weird degree, over and above most other celeb kids, probably a combination of their parents, their cuteness and their multicultural backgrounds.

I know that the people around here commenting on the kids don’t have malicious intentions, but I think we need to consider how we are getting these glimpses and how truly invasive it is.

    • The Original G says:

I don’t think kids should be papped and I’m sure the JP’s would like them to go away as well.

    • JuneLou says:

I think paps treat some families differently than others, depending on surrounding drama, star power, etc. The paps are probably extremely respectful of the JPs, keeping a distance, not screaming awful stuff at the kids and parents to get a reaction. I think other stars have had legitimately awful and traumatic encounters and have been burned, like Tom Cruise and KH and Halle Berry. Others just simply don’t want their kids in the press at all, like Kristen Bell.

Also, the JP kids almost always look happy, protected and united. They hold hands and smile, more often than not. They don’t cower and hide like Suri. They’re usually in a public, well populated place, not coming out of their homes or schools. It makes a huge difference looking at these shots than ones that are obviously unwelcome and intrusive. I hate those photos, and I think magazines and websites should be strict about not running them. These seem totally fine to me.

      • nicole says:

I expected someone to say this for sure. But it’s pretty hard to say that it’s ok to ask for photos of some kids and not others. Kids are not always predictable in their reactions or how they will process this stuff, or whatever the other fears are that comes with this. And maybe this photo is great, but like I said above, I’m sure there a number of Jolie-Pitt kid photos that show upset children. Hard to say, publish the happy ones, it’s all good, when that behaviour has probably resulted in some scary times for the kids.

Again, I dont’ know these kids or these parents, who knows, maybe they love it. This is just kind of in general. You can’t just pick and choose what kids it will be ok for.

      • V4Real says:

@JuneLou actually there have been pics of some of the Jolie kids covering their face. I know I have seen a pic of Pax doing it. Also it’s not fair to compare Suri who is an only child to the Jolie Pitts who have each other to hold on to. It doesn’t matter if the kid is happy, sad or throwing a tantrum. If you don’t think kids should be papped, that should mean under any circumstance.

    • Artemis says:

True. Both the public and the celebs can’t help themselves. I won’t say the JPs arrange photo ops all the time but it’s not like they’re above it either. Plus they released their own spreads more than once (even if it’s for charity, they’re still profiting from it somehow).

Celebs know people want to see their children (especially A-list kids) and it helps with their image. The public pretends like they care about celebs’ privacy but in the end, we all know they don’t, that’s why gossip mags and blogs are very lucrative. We love to gossip and we love watching the new generation of stars grow up. There is a reason why the ‘celeb kids’ section is very popular.

I find it hilarious when people are ‘concerned’ that the paparazzi are yelling at the JP kids (or other celeb kids) and in the same sentence they praise the kids’ beauty or go on and pretend how they know their personalities. Like what kind of contradiction? Either you want to see them or you don’t. 🙂

      • nicole says:

        Yes. This.

      • V4Real says:

Yep Artemis, you are so on point.I completely agree on the part about people pretending they know the kids personalities.

      • AlmondJoy says:

Artemis your last paragraph is HILARIOUS and so true!

      • Peppa says:

The phenomenon of how people gush over celeb kids like they know them and know their personalities definitely freaks me out! I’m not trying to be mean, nor am I talking specifically about people on this site or Jolie-Pitt fans. I just can’t get behind the speculation of how a child feels or their personality traits based on a photo (especially a paparazzi pic).

      • Artemis says:

It’s one of the many disconnects I notice with their hardcore fans. Like, they know a lot about the JPs based on what the JPs say + paparazzi pictures yet if anybody dares to critique their use of photo ops or any other slightly non-positive comments, it’s not true and they’re private. Right, keep on talking about them as if you know them! Wonder how that logic works in their head? 🙂

    • littlestar says:

I didn’t read that article, but you make a good point. I usually have no interest in any celebrity child, but I don’t mind looking at pictures of the Jolie-Pitt kids from time to time. And I’d guess that most people would be more way more interested in the Jolie-Pitt kids than Kristen Bell’s child (not that that really has anything to do with the law they are trying to propose).

      • Artemis says:

The JPs are certainly more interesting and famous but if people like Alba and Simpson can make a career of being a ‘mom’ and still get paid large sums of money to show their kids off, I’d wager that there is plenty of interest in lower ranked celebs. The only difference is that the JPs add parenthood as an extra aspect to their successful careers and stardom while the lower ranked ones use it as their only way to stay relevant.

    • jess says:

Two of the most overrated people ever. I do like Angelinas scarf, they cover her boney arms.

  15. serena says:

Yeah, I really missed them!! Man, I really love little Shiloh’s style, she’s so cool!

  16. lucy2 says:

With all the security regulations, why can’t LAX ban paparazzi from hanging out there 24/7?
I do like her green shawl.

  17. Lexie says:

Kaiser, remember they did the red carpet for the Governors Awards in November? I only remember because I STILL think about her amazing black Versace dress.

  18. Jade says:

I hate how they dress their kids, they wear some not very age appropriate shirts. I’ve seen pics of them wearing a Nirvana tee, a misfits tee and now an ACDC? Why would anyone put that on children so young?

    • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

I don’t get why that’s an issue. As long as there’s not a picture of a boob, curse word, or something suggestive, I don’t see how a Nirvana tshirt is innapropriate. Maybe one or both of the parents are fans. Maybe the kid liked the look of the tshirt logo/name. That seems really nitpicky, on something that really doesn’t matter.

      • V4Real says:

Now even I will say that is nitpicky. My son had a TShirt that I had made that said i”m bringing sexy back. He was 1 at the time.

    • Esmom says:

Clearly you haven’t seen many kids these days. The hip baby boutique in my old hood sold AC/DC and Nirvana onesies for babies!

I don’t see this stuff as inappropriate at all. Dressing little girls in pageant wear and loading up on the makeup, for example, however, is another story. The J-P kids are remarkably typical-looking kids.

      • ANDREA1 says:

        @Esmom I agree completely

      • Angie says:

I don’t think it’s inappropriate but i find it silly to see a little kid wearing an AC/DC sweatshirt. I remember Maddox wearing a t-shirt with a punk rock group on it when he was like 4 or something. I just laughed and brushed it off as Angie wanting her little boy to look cool.
It’s not bad but it’s kinda eye-roll worthy.

      • Jenn says:

Angie- u do realize that even a four year old has their own musical likes. My kids are very clear on what they like/don’t like. That applies to food, clothes, and music.

      • Jade says:

It’s inappropriate because children don’t listen to this music let alone be such massive fans that they wear their band tees, they belong on teens/adult, so why put your little kids in them? Why can’t they just dress like kids, why do they have to be ‘cool’? Kids that age don’t care.

      • Esmom says:

Agree with everyone who says when kids wear that stuff it’s much more about he parents than the kids. For sure. But I still don’t think it’s inappropriate.

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@Jade, who wrote: “It’s inappropriate because children don’t listen to this music let alone be such massive fans that they wear their band tees, they belong on teens/adult, so why put your little kids in them? Why can’t they just dress like kids, why do they have to be ‘cool’? Kids that age don’t care.”

How old are you that you haven’t noticed what fashions are made for little kids (and I’m talking as young as babies and toddlers) these days? I’ve seen kids under three decked out better than their parents in stylish clothes and shoes and oh my goodness, some of the teeny tiny boots are to die for. It’s not so much that the parents go out of their way to find ‘exotic’ and ‘trendy’ clothes for their kids, it’s just how little kids’ clothing is designed today.

And what is wrong with wearing an ‘AC/DC’ tee-shirt? The group was popular before Angie was born (the band was formed in 1973) and Brad was 10 (and growing up in a Midwestern Christian household) when the group released their first album, so can we ‘really’ say in this case that it’s a matter of the parents forcing their music taste onto the kids?

The Jolie-Pitt kids really do look more normal in dress than a large majority of other celebrity kids. They never look out of place in how they’re dressed when the Jolie-Pitts are around other families with kids … and some of ‘those’ kids wear Band tee-shirts as well.

      • idsmith says:

My son is 4 and he loves ACDC. His dad listens to it and he dances and sings his own words to TNT. He loves the “hard” jamming beat. I find nothing inappropriate. It’s silly to suggest kids don’t like certain kinds of music just because they are kids

    • loveisthecoal says:

Maybe she simply likes AC/DC. I started insisting upon wearing band tshirts around her age. *shrug*

    • daisy says:

I’m far from a Brangeloonie, but my 7 year old loves AC/DC… she and her step dad used to rock out to AC/DC, Ted Nugent and other hard rock when they would drive to the beach on his day off when I was working. It was a bonding experience for them. Now it’s “their thing.” She would definitely wear a tee-shirt. She knows a lot of their songs by heart. She also loves “What does the fox say” and Katy Perry like a typical 7 year old girl.

      • Delta Juliet says:

Ha! Sounds like my boys (10 and 4). They LOVE AC/DC, Aerosmith, Van Halen, the Beatles, KISS. And then they also like Katy Perry, the Cars soundtrack, the SpongeBob soundtrack and whatever the song-of-the-moment is.

Not seeing the big deal on the t-shirts. Sounds like maybe you don’t know too many kids.

    • Jade says:

Actually I do know what kids are like, I used to work in childcare, and I also know what some parents are like and how they think it’s so cute that their kids are like mini adults, wearing small versions of current fashions, listening to their taste in music but they have no choice or understanding of what their listening to. I always feel so sorry for those kids, it’s not cute and just because they do know ACDC lyrics or the names of adult fashion brands, doesn’t mean they should know. They only get one childhood, it makes them grow up too fast when they’re so exposed to adult tastes, there’s plenty of time for that later on, before you know it they will be all grown up.

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

So you’re saying that kids should only be able to listen to music that is being made directly for them? That’s kind of dumb and unreasonable—does that mean no listening to the local radio station, in case they hear a curse word? I’m really not getting how you’re getting all this from an ACDC tshirt.

  19. Naomi says:

I love seeing the kids because they look as if they belong to a genuinely loving family. The hand holding, seeming to share or hand down favorite toys. They travel so much I think they have worked out the kinks plus they could be flying by private plane not commercial so nice and relaxing!

  20. Sistine says:

All their kids are cute, but that Shiloh has amazingly beautiful face!

  21. Common Sense says:

Nope, they are a lovely family and all, but NO. This is going to be my barometre to check if I need profesional help or not from now on; the very moment I start to miss a celebrity and his\her kids I will know it’s time.

  22. CC says:

Didn’t miss them, didn’t *not* miss them, honestly didn’t think about them either way. They’re ric and all but the way they ALL dress….. UGH. Not my thing. Parents and kids alike. But especially the kids. Why do they look so unkempt?

    • Esmom says:

Presumably they’ve been on a plane for nearly an entire day.

    • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@CC, who wrote: “But especially the kids. Why do they look so unkempt?”

Well … because they’re kids? How would you dress ‘your’ kids for a 14-hour plane ride? But in general, that’s how kids dress when they’re outside ripping and running around. Isn’t that how ‘you’ dressed when you were a little kid? It’s how ‘I’ dressed.

    • Those kids look unkempt? I’m glad you don’t see my daughter at the end of the day.

I mean, Pax is wearing a blazer.

  23. Kim1 says:

I just checked the archives they arrived in Australia Sept 5 and left Feb 5.So with pre production and a couple of holiday breaks AJ was there 5 months.
Daily Mail has a blurry shirtless pic of Brad on the balcony of the place Brad and Angie stayed at sans kids.
It’s funny how Viv is always with Angie and Zahara(mini Mom) is usually with smiling Knox

    • ANDREA1 says:

Yea right! Knox is always smiling which is cool.. Yea Brad and Angie and an alone time without the kids. How romantic So much for people who say they are only together for the kids;) I love the fact that they find time away from the kids to keep the fire burning in the relationship its great 🙂

  24. xboxsucks says:

yes I MISSED THEM that saying brad looks less bloated ,angie looks her elegant self and the kids are huge and beautiful
    perfect family ,i guess

  25. Frida_K says:

I love the one picture where the kids are all lined up like a human version of the children’s book “Make Way For Ducklings.”

And the AC/DC sweatshirt is v. cool!

    😉

  26. Rena says:

They flew home to LA on Quantas, that is one of the Quantas staff walking with Z and Knox, they seem to be flying commercial mostly now that the kids are older and easier I guess LOL to fly with. Can’t believe how big the kids are now, no babies to carry anymore. Both Angelina and Brad look 100% better than I would after a 13+ hour flight with 6 kids. Saw pics of them in the Sydney airport and noticed the paps are not allowed to get so close to them as they do at LAX, even though it seems the LAX paps were actually not right up in their faces as they have been in the past.

  27. Maya says:

I love this family. Unlike most parents who force their choices on the children – I like the fact that Brad & Angelina are letting the children be who they want to be. You can clearly see that each one of them have their own unique style and identity.

Pax dresses like a typical teen, Zahara like an elegant woman (just like her mother Angelina), Pax typical little brother who follow his older brother, Shiloh just like a normal tom boy style, Know like his dad while Vivenne classy, girly and comfortable.

Now that they are back in US we won’t see them unless it’s red carpet. Brad and Angelina have been able to control paps stalking in US and UK but not in rest of the world where not only paps are taking pictures but normal people are using their smartphones as well.

PS: Angelina wears black when she is dressing down. I have seen her in all the colours of the rainbow on the red carpet – from yellow, green, blue and red.

PPS: just saw the pictures with Brad and Angelina enjoying private on a balcony. Brad looks really hot and his body looks just like in Troy – he is setting a new standard for men in 50s.

  28. Nancy says:

I think I’d handle travelling with 6 kids well, if I had help and a private plane. Let’s get real with the compliments.

    • swack says:

Thank you. I think it’s great they take the kiddos with them but in reality they do have nannies and body guards. Extra hands are always helpful.

    • Rena says:

They flew commercial, Quantas from OZ to LA, which they did almost all the time while in OZ, and which they often did in the past into and out of LAX. Yes they fly private when they must it seems schedule wise as do many wealthy and successful people the world over, and yes they have assistants, but they both appear to be very hands on parents with well behaved young children.

      THIS is realness, OK? LOL

      • V4Real says:

They might fly Quantas but like I stated above I’m pretty sure it’s first class. Don’t try to make it seem as if they are in coach like the regualr folks. They also have assistants and nannies. That’s what’s real.

    • Jade says:

They also don’t have to carry any of the luggage, which I’m sure is quite a lot.

  29. olivia says:

Anti-paparazzi bill that Jennifer Garner and Halle Berry were backing passed a few days ago in California. That means that celebrity children can’t be photographed unless their parents give explicit consent.
    http://s14.postimg.org/bnbi7bzwh/newbill_Copy.gif

    • Sistine says:

No, that doesn’t mean that. It means if you sue paparazzi that takes photo of your child in a harassing matter, you have better chance of them paying penalty. Before, they would just walk without punishment.

    • Luca26 says:

I think the bill is great but you are misstating what the law is. It’s says that children can’t be photographed at schools or hospitals and that paparazzi can’t physically interfere with them entering a building. If you watch the video the paparazzi stay at a distance and don’t block their way. Nowhere in your link does it mention explicit consent because that would go against the first amendment.

    • Rena says:

As others have said much better than I can, you have completely misstated the provisions of that new CA statue. Wonder why? The first amendment still controls. Children, and this is any child not just celeb children, can’t be photographed at their schools or entering or exiting hospitals, paps can’t physically interfere with them entering or exiting a building, and the intent of the legislation was to prevent paps from harassing or threatening children as has often been the case in the past to get a reaction. This means backing up and giving kids a safety zone when taking their pics. This also protects non-celeb children whose pics are taken because their parents or family members are newsworthy for some reason.

    • christina says:

Better luck next time Olivia. Lol

  30. LoLoLol says:

I’ll miss Angelina +Australia. We got a lot of photos of her looking blissfully happy in Oz. Now that she’s back in La photos of Jolie will be rare and all we’ll get is pittstain pretending to be bad ass on motorcycles that he can’t even start. Ugh.

    Hopefully maleficent Promotion begins soon.

  31. lower-case deb says:

seeing this post next to the one about Bieber, then reading them one after the other, i begin to wonder a little.

i know that Beiber is almost at the extreme end of teenage-star douchiness, but what interests me more is the conversation about Reports, Eyewitness and Customers.

we’ve also read a lot he said-she said about JP kids behaving badly, but usually a statement from the proprietor of the establishment/related parties would come out pretty quick to deny all allegations.

some people say that the proprietors did not wish to lose JPs patronage and therefore was being PR-spinned or taught what to say. but as is the case with Beiber, they could just “refuse to comment”. but they did comment on the behavior of the JP kids and a lot said they’re ok.

seeing these pics, i wonder if the JP kids are actually “normally behaved” and people are just making up Bieberesque behavior to sell stories.

the most i have seen from the JP kids as negative reaction to the pap is Pax always hiding behind his huge stuffed bear not giving them a clear picture of the face.

    • Maya says:

All I can say is that I have seen the JP children in Richmond several times few years ago. The children are all well mannered, polite, happy & easy going kids.

    • Luca26 says:

There is plenty of photographic evidence that Beiber is a jerk so that he is worse behind the scenes is no surprise . There is very little of the Jolie-Pitt kids acting out I think Pax used to be rowdy a while back but nothing serious. If there were ever a JP tantrum like Suri Cruise used to have it would be recorded. Now I’m not saying that I the kids are always perfect but I highly doubt they are that wild or else they wouldn’t be so well behaved in public.

    • Kim1 says:

I believe most are made up tabloid stories.A tabloid claimed the JP’s destroyed Paul Allen’s house in France in 2008,that he banned them etc.Yet in 2009 he let them use their yacht,in 2010 they used his VIP skybox at Superbowl in NOLA.
The tabloid just made up that story
Much like that fake interview NE published with friend of PSH.Im glad he is sueing NE for $50 M

  32. BendyWindy says:

They are really a beautiful family. I just wish they would get someone to do Zahara’s hair. African American hair needs special care, and while Brad has talked about it in the press before, it doesn’t seem like they’re up to the task. I don’t think it needs to always be styled, but it doesn’t look healthy.

    • Janet says:

They are very smart to leave Z’s hair alone. She is only 9 years old. If they start perming it and messing with it now she will be halfway bald by the time she is 30. Her hair is healthy and natural. Just let it be.

      • Sullivan says:

+ 1. It seems odd to me that some people are concerned that the JPs have yet to put harsh chemicals in Z’s hair.

      • BendyWindy says:

I didn’t say they should relax it. I would never relax the hair of a child that young! But it doesn’t look like it’s being trimmed, moisturized and combed. I had hair struggles all my life…that’s a recipe for matting, notting and hair being pulled out in clumps.

      • V4Real says:

@bindyWindy Sometime ago the same thing was being said about Blue Ivy’s hair.Thyey said that Beyonce needed to comb the childs hair. But I thought it was just a case of Blue’s having natural tight curls and no matter how they brush it, the hair is going to go back to it’s natural form making it seems as if they didn’t brush it.

I do get what you’re saying about Zahara’s hair and it does look unkept. Of course people are going to take offense because you are talking about a little girl (and a kid of Angie at that). They don’t have to put chemicals in her hair but they can condition and moisturize it so the texture is not so coarse. If you understand Black hair, natural isn’t always the best thing.

    • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@BendyWindy, who wrote: “They are really a beautiful family. I just wish they would get someone to do Zahara’s hair. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Zahara’s hair. I applaud Brad and Angie for leaving it natural for as long as possible. I think the black women (or white women) who constantly comment about this little girl’s hair might be projecting their own sense of ‘image’ onto her. Zahara is not you.

In 4 or 5 years, if the way she now wears her natural hair bothers her, she ‘will’ complain loudly about it … as only a young girl entering puberty can. 🙂 But until then, can’t we all just let her be a little girl who enjoys the freedom of wearing her natural hair just as she wants?

      • BendyWindy says:

Projecting what image onto her? I don’t think she needs a relaxer or a weave. Natural hair care is all I’m talking about and I don’t think it’s out of line to comment about it. Having experienced having to have my matted natural nappy hair cut out with scissors I hope they have someone who knows what they’re doing to help. It’s not any deeper than that.

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@BendyWindy, who wrote: “Natural hair care is all I’m talking about and I don’t think it’s out of line to comment about it. Having experienced having to have my matted natural nappy hair cut out with scissors I hope they have someone who knows what they’re doing to help.”

Zahara’s hair is pulled back in a ponytail in the photo above (you can best see it in the 4th photo down) so someone obviously combs it. Her hair is a little mussed, but where do you see matting? Please consider the fact that this child just completed a 14-hour plane ride after squirming, sleeping, and playing in a plane seat.

    • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

Sometimes it just depends on the person’s hair, as to whether or not it’s styled. I have really coarse hair—I could spend all day combing my hair, but if you saw me, unless it was braided, it wouldn’t look like I’d done anything to it. That includes getting moisturized—it looks good when it’s wet, but the minute it dries, then my hair looks dry. Her hair looks like she has it combed every day, and it’s taken care of–I’m glad they didn’t put a bunch of junk in it.

    • bns says:

You’re right, and I wonder if the people that replied to you are even black. With all of the money they have, I’m sure they could hire a nanny who knows how to do black hair. No one is saying that she needs a weave or a perm, but her hair is not done.

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

Myself, Emma, V4Real, and Janet are black…..

Her hair is combed and in a ponytail—it’s done. Unless you’re talking about getting it braided–which she did have long braids in for a while. But other than that?? What do you expect them to do to her hair? How do you expect her hair to look after a long flight? ESPECIALLY when it isn’t silky smooth, like her siblings hair–where you can run a brush over the top of it to make it look okay. It’s fine–it’s not matted or anything.

      • bns says:

It is clearly dry and is not combed through, but I’m not going to try and reason with an Angelina stan. Plus, it’s not my kid so at the end of the day I couldn’t care less, but I would have hated my mom if she let me out of the house with my hair looking like that as a kid.

  33. pnichols says:

love that green wrap. pretty color. love how they move together/ignore as a unit. that’s got to be really annoying on some level.

  34. Anna Scott says:

I find it interesting that Paltrow’s children have blurred faces in paps photos while Jolie’s kids are seen from every angle and articles accompanied the pics spell kids names out. Now that Vivienne had a role in Maleficient we will see more pics of her with Angelina.

    • Beeeeeeee says:

Except there are lots of pics where their faces are not blurred. It is the photo agency, not the celeb that chooses to do that.
Her role in the film is super small, there have been many celebs who have their kids in small roles, yet no outrage about that.
And when they are in LA they seem to disappear. They know how to avoid paps in LA and put the effort in to do so.

    • Kim1 says:

Those Paltrow kids pics were probably not taken in America or by American paparazzi.Different rules in different countriels.
As for Vivienne besides maybe the premier I dont think we will see her at all during promo tour.

    • Luca26 says:

Are you in the UK? I’ve seen photos of the Paltrow children (though not as many) here in the Us there is no possibility of blurring out photos of celeb kids because of the First amendment. I’m curious if UK citizen children are blurred out but American citizen children are exempt from UK laws?

    • christina says:

Try going to JJ,popsuger,CBS X17 online and you’ll see tons of pictures of Gwen kids faces

  35. Aria says:

Am I the only one who hates that green scarf? Anyway, I love them as a family.

  36. Jayna says:

I love Angie, but her face is looking skeletal these days. She really would look so much better with a few pounds on her.

  37. Diana says:

Shilo is going to be one kick @ss teenager.

  38. Lila says:

I will admit that I missed them and not be ashamed. I definitely feel sketchy about looking at pictures of some celeb’s kids (particularly the ones whose parents obviously called the paps and they look miserable) but not generally the Jolie-Pitts. I think it’s because we don’t see them very often and Angelina and Brad always seem to have control of the situation, or more likely their security does. With them, it typically doesn’t feel like an intrusion so much as the family opening the door for a bit then locking it again until the next time they are in the mood. When they allow us, I am happy to look in!

This is two good outfits in a row for Angelina. That green is gorgeous and I really like the black pants with the gold heels in the dinner pics. After the Atelier Versace in November, I am getting excited for the Oscars. It’s always a fun carpet when they are there. It’s like they raise the energy level just by being there.

The kids all have such distinct styles. As someone who is night and day from my siblings, it’s nice to see. Goodness Shiloh is tall. She was always a pretty baby but her beauty is really starting to come out. The question is if she has Angelina’s personality to go with her face.

    • dirtsa says:

Didn’t Angelina once say Shiloh reminds her a lot of herself and that she will be a little troublemaker one day? I seem to have read this somewhere

      • Emma - the JP Lover says:

@Dirtsa, who wrote: “Didn’t Angelina once say Shiloh reminds her a lot of herself and that she will be a little troublemaker one day? I seem to have read this somewhere”

Well, lets see … Shiloh’s birthday is on May 27th and Angie’s birthday is on June 4th, just 8 days apart. They are both Gemini’s (May 21st – June 21st). They are both Air signs. I’d say it’s a distinct possibility they might share a personality trait or two. 🙂

But Shiloh has a different family dynamic than Angie had (Shiloh won’t have the same ‘Daddy’ issues, anger, and angst), so there won’t be the ‘extra’ need to act out and rebel against the ‘Rents.’

        Time will tell. 🙂

  39. The Original G says:

Sheesh. Not only do I not want to see celeb kids papped, I also am pretty turned off by the phoney concern trolling about their hair, clothes and alledged behavior here. No kid needs to read that. Pathetic

    • Sullivan says:

      +1

    • Observer says:

I also can’t stand how their kids are put in “roles” by some people here. Like Viv is the “girly princess one”, Shiloh is “the tomboy one”, Zahara is “a mini mom” (which i find very problematic btw since (some people) always put her in a role that is adult, like “lady”, “Empress”, “woman”, “elegant” etc. Let the child be a child! There is nothing grown about her, she dresses in pink and girly thinks ffs, yet it’s “queen this, empress that” and “side eye” even when she has a frickin’ neutral expression on her face. Already people cast her as “boss lady”. Damn.
I’m just going to say it: Some of their fans are super creepy.

      • Cecilia says:

        +1

      • Kim1 says:

I called her “mini mom” because Angie referred to her as” mini mom” at the KFP 2 Premiere when she was asked about her kids. I didnt just pull that term out my as# .She descibed Maddox as Zen like . Angie described Zahara as “elegant “in 2010 Vanity Fair interview In that interview she described all the kids. I have never called her empress. So if using the descriptions their MOTHER used to describe them is creepy so be it. I ‘ll trust her over some BS tabloids make up.I find it creepy that people who can’t stand them are always on their threads. If that doesn’t apply to you than I wasn’t talking about You.

      • UghInsomnia says:

+10000000 SUPER creepy. If I were Angelina Jolie, I’d be extremely weirded out by the Brangeloonies. It’s bizarre to say the least.

      • Maya says:

@UghInsomnia: How weird that you say Brangeloonies are extremely weird because they talk and say nice things about the children. But doesn’t comment on the fact that Jennifer Aniston’s fans brutally criticize the children, Angelina & Brad and wished them death, cancer and other horrible things.

So basically we JPs fans are lunatics for saying good stuff but Jennifer Aniston fans are normal despite the fact that they wish death, cancer etc.

        Wow..

      • Jade says:

That’s even weirder to me that she would describe her kids as ‘zen’ and ‘elegant’ they’re not the kind of words people would use to discribe children, because children, you know, they aren’t those things, they’re very adult personality traits. Very odd.

      • UghInsomnia says:

@Maya- where did I say anything about JA? I’m firmly on Team WhoTheHellCaresBecauseTheyreJustPeople. The JenHens are just as alarmingly unhinged as the Brangeloonies.

  40. Maureen says:

I just don’t give a flip about these two.

    • Sienna says:

But your actions suggest otherwise doesn’t it?

You not only clicked on the article and thereby giving the JPs hits – you also wrote a comment adding to the comment counts.

    • Kim1 says:

Thanks for letting us all know that you” don’t give a flip about these two” . I don’t give a flip about Le Ann Rimes and have never posted on her stories. But Thanks for commenting the more comments the more stories about them.
In other JP news their second vintage wine is getting great reviews, including from Decanter magazine
it will go on sale Friday

      • ANDREA1 says:

Hahahaha nice one @Sienna and Kim1 🙂 😉 when I don’t like a celeb I don’t click on their stories example Justin Bieber, leann, Brandi and So many others.
Thanks for the great news Kim1 am sure that wine is going to be sold out before the end of friday too
Kuddos to the JPs they are already beginning the year on a great note….

    • Maureen says:

Why are you guys SO personally offended by my one-line comment? I’m a regular reader/commenter, and I was responding to the question, “Did you miss them?”.

      Oy.

      • Kim1 says:

Did you miss them ? No
        No problem
        Every thread ” I don’t care about them”, “I’m not interested in them”, “I hate them”,” I can’t stand them”, They are has beens” , “I don’t give a F about them”,”They look horrible”…
Like I said before the more comments= more stories
        Thanks

      • ANDREA1 says:

Hey Maureen “NO ONE” is personally offended by your comment and you said ” I don’t just give a flip about these two” nah I doubt you were just referring to the question posed by Kaiser did you miss them? You seemed to be talking generally about Brad and AJ and honestly we also don’t just give a flip about what you think of them 🙂 😉

    • Malak says:

When I don’t give a flip about an actor or actress, I skip stories about him or her.

  41. phlyfiremama says:

Yes I have missed them!! Looking forward to all the Pitt p*rn ahead, for sure!! DEM BABIES~

  42. mfmaefh says:

    His jacket is very long

  43. lisa2 says:

Well so glad they made it back. It has been a long 5 months. But I can’t say I missed them because we did get a few pics of them enjoying Australia. Looked like they had a blast.

I don’t make New Year resolutions..but I have tried to ignore the threads of the people I am “not interested in” or “don’t give a flip about”.. lol.. other may do the same.

Besides most of those threads are the same old same old.. so no need to add to them.

I am a fan of this couple. I like them. I watch their films and I like reading about them and their family. I don’t think there is anything strange or unusual. My boyfriend reads and follows his favorite sports teams. Goes to games and even travels when he can to see them play. FANS..that is what we are. I think the kids are cute and seem very close to each other. Taking care of one another. Great thing. I would imagine every parent would be joyful in seeing that in their children. They have been home schooled for years. I find the fake concern about there schooling that.. Fake. many many children in Hollywood and outside are home schooled. Not like it is an alien concept. I’m sure they have the best of education because their parents can afford it. They can get individual attention. Work on things they need to work on and progress forward and not have to wait til other catch up. That is an advantage.

hope to see them at the Oscars. And yes they to me; make every RC better.

    • Kim1 says:

They may attend the BAFTA’s on Feb 16th . TYAS is predicted to do well because Steve and Chewitel are British. Since they are in LA we won’t be seeing them much.
@Lisa2 Did you see the pic of shirtless Brad on Balcony @Dailymail.com?

      • lisa2 says:

        Kim.. YES I DID..

Brad is in great shape and he looks wonderful. Never get the digs about him not aging well. Compared to who exactly. He and Angie looked really relaxed and happy at the wrap party. I like that he headed right to his family after Fury wrapped. And they seem to have had about 3 or 4 days without the kids. Good for them.
Not sure about the BAFTAs.. Brad maybe.. it would be a treat if Angie accompanied him. We will know next week. The BAFTAs are a good shoe. They move quick and it is actually very enjoyable.

    • ANDREA1 says:

      @ lisa2 word
The sequel to their first wine is receiving raving reviews… Called mouth watering would love to order but the shipping is expensive.. Urgh will just have to wait a little longer.. And yes Brad still got it even at 50. His body is banging AJ is one lucky woman. Can’t wait to see them hit the red carpet damn everyone is anxious to see them together on the red carpet they are just So magnetic.

    • Ligaya says:

Totally agree, Lisa2. Great analogy. I’m no stalker fan & I just found out what stan means, but to critics of JP fans, I say, yes I’m a Brangeloonie & proud of it! 😀 Let my freak flag fly!

  44. Janet says:

I missed the first vintage, but I’m signing up early for this one. Yum-O!

    http://www.usnews.com/news/entertainment/articles/2014/02/06/brangelina-wine-sequel-called-mouthwatering

  45. Camille (TheOriginal) says:

    Gorgeous family.

  46. Decloo says:

I really hope Pax is being super-helpful-guy and carrying that giant stuffed animal for one of the twins. He’s a little old to be lugging that thing around.

    • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

He’s probably carrying it to block the paps. In a few pics I’ve seen, he puts it in front of his face.

    • TG says:

He is only 9 years old. And I remember seeing that big purple plush toy in some of the Australia pics when the family went to the zoo or to an amusement park or something. Can’t remember exactly and don’t remember who was carrying it. I think it is so funny that whenever Angelina’s kids are out they always have the biggest most massive toys they can find. It always amuses me because I can’t stand carrying anything extra. I know they have help but to imagine going to a fair and each child is walking around with a 3 foot toy is funny.

  47. Lilly says:

She’s not showing her arms. I wonder if she had the surgery to make her veins smaller. They all look tired….but content.

    • Beeeeeeee says:

She was showing her arms the day before………………………

    • lenje says:

Eh, I saw some pictures of AJ+BP on Lainey’s the other day, the veins are still there. But for some reason she looks way more thinner and skeletal than the last time I saw her pics.

  48. aang says:

No, I did not. But I must admit the JP stories always have some interesting comments.

  49. alice says:

Oh My God the world is going to end we haven’t seen Angelina and Brad on a red carpet in a long time! What will we do! Seriously, aren’t some of you sick of them yet? They are boring. And I notice they’ve been doing lovey dovey photo ops suddenly probably because they are jealous of the adorable pics of Charlize Theron and Sean Penn looking so romantic. Or the attention Johnny Depp and his girlfriend are receiving. They just have to have attention on their coupling. They may not go to every award show, but they certainly manipulate the press and set up photo ops and sell them and use the excuse that they are giving the money to charity. Still tacky.

    • lisa2 says:

Thanks for the early morning chuckle. Yeah Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are jealous.

Did Sean and Charlize set up those “tacky” beach pics. Did Johnny and Amber set up the “tacky” pics of themselves at concerts and her out and about with his kids..

LOL.. your comment is more tacky then your accusations of this couple. But love how they are so terrible but you are eagle eyeing them all over. LOL.. guess you are’t that “tired of them”

They are a beautiful couple with a beautiful family..

  50. Mia says:

I swear, Zahara is like a third parent, always has one of the kids in tow.

  51. veggieaddict says:

Huge, beautiful, lovely family! All look great: Angie and Brad are their usual hot selves, and the kids are all sorts of adorable. Lucky people!

  52. shanti says:

Great to see them at Airlie Beach .. hope they loved it …what beautiful kids
