Former Scary Spice Melanie Brown had a baby girl just after midnight this morning in Santa Monica, California. The newborn has not been named yet and is going by the name “Baby Brown.”
Scary’s spokesperson confirms the birth and says everyone is healthy:
A spokeswoman for the singer said: “The baby is completely healthy with a good head of hair. Mother and baby are now resting. No name has been decided on as yet, and she is purely known as Baby Brown.”
Brown was famously dumped by Eddie Murphy by proxy when he told a Dutch interviewer that he was being presumptuous for assuming that the baby was his. Murphy was cheating on Melanie in the last few weeks of their relationship with Babyface’s ex wife Tracy Edmunds, with whom he still has a relationship. Edmunds recently said that if Scary is having Murphy’s baby as determined by an upcoming paternity test that he’ll take responsibility and that’s “like their business that’s going on.”
Brown recently celebrated her upcoming birth with a racy baby shower attended by male strippers.
Congratulations to Brown and hopefully Eddie Murphy will face monthly child support payments that rival Diddy’s.

Good for Melanie. She got him a present that not even Tracy could have given him. She’s not my favorite person, but she did not deserve the indifference from Eddie.

its unfortunate that eddie murphy is behaving like the ghetto rappers talking smack about their bitches and hoes. i used to like eddie murphy, but his personal life is so stomach churning that i cant stand him anymore. eddie murphy and the wife he divorced about a year ago have something like 6 or 8 children together.
the chick that is with him now-tracy edmunds- used to be married to babyface, and i dont remember the whole story but i think that eddie was his best friend at the time and she cheated on babyface with murphy…and she was dumped by babyface. so what, now she is somehow getting hers by leaving a pregnant woman out??

Ugh. Poor Mel. I personally can’t imagine anything worse than being dumped by the man who’s baby you’re having. Nothing. (I am of course assuming that it is his..?)
And anyway, the Spice Girls will always have a special place in my heart. Am I ashamed? A little.

Why would Mel as old as she is be sleeping with someone without any form of birth control, was this a setup to get eddie’s money. I”m not on Eddie side its just Mel did this to herself. If I go out and have sex with a guy and a few months later I’m pregnant he shoule be suspicious.
