Kim Kardashian got laser treatment on her boobs to remove stretch marks: TMI?

wenn21118898

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West out and about on Sunday in NYC. I saw some sites saying something about Kim “wearing fur” but I really don’t think her scarf thing is really fur. It looks faux fur to me, although I think her jacket is some kind of leather (maybe not? I don’t know). I do believe Kanye’s jacket is real fur though. And just after Khloe Kardashian reiterated her anti-fur position! So, there you go. Yeezington obviously hates Khloe.

On Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim apparently got laser treatment on her boobs. She wanted to remove some stretch marks she got while pregnant, and the cameras followed her into the doctor’s office for the procedure. Kim’s original intention for going into the laser treatment place was to get something done on her hands (likely story), which she complained were “really wrinkly” and she expressed a desire to “tighten them.” HER HANDS. She wanted to tighten her hands! See, I don’t have an opinion one way or the other about stretch marks on your boobs or anything else. Stretch marks happen, and if someone wants to laser them off, so be it. But the thing that freaks me out is that she wanted to TIGHTEN her hands. And God knows, that’s not all Kim has gotten done.

The scarf is ridiculous in so many levels. She cannot dress to save her life.

  2. HappyMom says:

I actually feel sorry for her. How awful would it be to go through life where you examine your face and body all the time for “flaws” and then go for expensive, time consuming, painful procedures to “fix” these “flaws”. It’s pathetic.

    • Patricia says:

That’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s so sad. I am 30 and yes I notice my hands changing slightly over the past few years. But I don’t hate myself so I embrace it as part off the badge I wear from the gift of years of life. She will never have the joy of accepting grey hairs and wrinkles for the beauty of years of life that they represent.
She must be full of self hatred and so even though she has all the money and fame in the world I just pity her.

      • annie says:

Easier said than done .I will never get over my saggy boobs and i am only 24. I hate surgery

      • kri says:

This woman is devoid of anything except being obsessed with her looks. Many years ago, when she first appeared, I thought she was exotic-very pretty. Now..ugh. Waxy-inside and out.

    • Hannah says:

She doesn’t have anything else to do, though.

    • booboolarue says:

Agreed. But Hannah is right, she doesn’t have anything else to do. Not even take care of her child. The IQ of a carrot. Sorry carrots.

    • Jen34 says:

Exactly. It is a shame she doesn’t like herself the way she is.

    • FLORC says:

I usually try to post before the hate parade begins, but it’s too late..

Just came to say lots of women get this done. Many claim they use cocobutter or various other creams to remove stretch marks, but actually have to get the laser treatments to finish the job. Some women have great success with creams, but lots don’t.

      Jen34
Would you have liked yourself the way you were if you were raised by Kris? That women is terrible.

      • littlestar says:

I can’t hate on the laser treatments either, I’ve had them done on my face last year and I liked the results. However, so much surgery that her face doesn’t look natural anymore, that I can’t get behind :(.

      • Jen34 says:

You are right. It would be awful to have a mother like that. FWIW, I don’t hate her. The few times I’ve seen her interviewed, she seemed sweet and harmless. I just think she was a very pretty girl before she started changing her face, and I wish she knew that.

      • Nina W says:

Can I say I hate how the word “hate” is used here? I realize it’s the current popular slang but criticism is not the same thing as hate and I’m fed up with people equating the two. I don’t like Kim, she is superficial, over-exposed and seems very stupid but I do not hate her, why would I? Here is something I do hate, I hate that our society constantly sends us the message that our appearance is not good enough. I hate that women jump on board with obsessing about appearance and pass it on to their daughters. I hate that we all end up feeling insecure about our worth as human beings because of our physical appearance.

    • danielle says:

I was thinking the same thing. Obsessing that much about your looks must be sad and exhausting. I blame the crazy Kris, of course.

  3. AG says:

Is there any laser or other treatment she could do on her brain? Or are there not even two brain cells up there to work with?

  4. Mitch Buchanan Rocks! says:

I hope this surgery will improve Kanye’s sour expression.

    • Sugar1 says:

Ugh every time Kanye …i think its his “go to my happy place” face.

    • mytbean says:

Every time I see him he looks like he’s on the edge of a psychotic, rage-filled, slashing frenzy. Maybe he thinks it makes him look serious or something? Maybe he’s wearing his defensive chihuahua stance for the paparazzi? But he just looks so miserable and angry all the time.

      • Jenni says:

Yeah, Kanye has a bad case of chronic resting bitch face. Terrible affliction.

      • Trashaddict says:

Yes, Jennifer, CRBF is a terrible disease. Unfortunately all this societal adulation for Kimye has given me a more serious affliction: CFBF, or Chronic Forever Bitch Face. I plan to start a foundation. Won’t you please help the bitch faces of this world?

  5. Tiffany27 says:

How do you tighten your hands? That sounds like some Frankenstein sh*t.

    • Sullivan says:

Right? Anyways, how have her hands gotten wrinkly? Has she ever washed dishes or planted a garden or created a work of art with her hands?

      • JenD says:

Since she takes care of her child, including changing diapers, she probably washes her hands a lot. Oh wait, that’s what normal moms do. Never mind.

      • Tracy says:

@JenD Yikes! I thought you were serious for a second!!

    • ZigZagZoey says:

Madonna would have done it if it was possible! Maybe she wanted that done so she wouldn’t feel bad about not holding her baby. No, I can’t….I just had my hands done….
For as much as they will spend on the wedding, they won’t even be married for that amount of seconds.

      • RJ says:

Ha! Your comment reminded me of her ex’s (Guy Ritchie) comment that being in bed with her was like ‘sleeping next to a piece of gristle’.

Given the arrogance and self-obsession of most movie stars I’m surprised they aren’t all doing it. Then again, Kim is only 33! I’m afraid to see her at 40, or 50 considering she started Botox & the surgeries while she was in her 20s. She needs to take a lesson from Christie Brinkley, Susan Sarandon, or Raquel Welch (as opposed to her current path, Michael Jackson)

    • swack says:

Hate to see if she gets rheumatoid arthritis because that can seriously deform the hands. I have seen it first hand.

  6. tifzlan says:

Must they share EVERY SINGLE THING that happens? I get that they’re on a reality show but does anyone actually care?????

    ??????

  7. Sisi says:

    all Kardashian info is tmi

  8. MrsBPitt says:

Oh look…its the world’s two most self-absorbed, self-obessesed, fame whores in the world!

  9. V4Real says:

Just left a post about a famous great humatarian to come and snark at yet another famous woman who uses her celebrity to contibute to no cause except her own. I really dislike this woman but she’s a hustler.

    • Brittney says:

Yep, the contrast sure is eye-opening… not that my eyes weren’t already open. But I assume you’re talking about Angelina, and along with George and Matt and Brad and several others, she really makes it obvious how superficial and meaningless “stars” like Kim are. With their money and fame, she and Kanye could do some serious good for the world… but instead it’s all about them. And yet they’re still followed by cameras, still getting magazine covers, still being worshiped (somehow… because I don’t know anyone in real life who actually likes them).

Hollywood and the celebrity industry can be so shallow and such a waste of time, but certain people prove that it can be more than that. I wish everyone would get on board… I do like to lose myself for a few minutes in gossip about useless people, but I’d much prefer twenty stories a day about lives that are changing or being saved because of others’ generosity.

  10. Seapharris7 says:

I’m somewhat jealous, I actually didn’t know you could get stretch arms lasered off! I know what I want for my birthday! And what is with all this fur? I didn’t know it came back in style

    • rianic says:

Try a retanoid cream like Roc or a lactic acid cream (Am Lactin or foot creams – I use a foot cream on my face in winter! Lactic acid is amazing for skin – I had terrible acne, and it helps keep the scars away)

      • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

Stretch marks cannot be lasered off. You can use lasers to reduce the appearance of stretchmarks and the success of the procedure depends upon your skin tone and the severity of the stretchmarks. If you google “before and after laser stretchmark treatment” you will see a very subtle difference. Not really worth the price, in my opinion.

    • LeLe25 says:

I am about to go Kardashian TMI and admit I have had stretch mark reduction via laser. I have had stretch marks on my behind since I was a teen due to a growth spur when my booty finally popped. It always made me feel self conscious, so I decided to go for it. Now my stretch marks are invisible to the naked eye, and I feel better about rocking a bikini. For me it was worth the time and money.

      • TorontoE says:

Thank you for saying that. I have had stretch marks since I hit puberty even now many year later they still leave me feeling insecure. Did it work in one treatment or require multiple times? Was it painful??

      • LeLe25 says:

No problem! For me, I had to have 4 treatments, but the amount of treatments needed depends on your skin color, how old the stretchmarks are, and where they are on your body. I have Tyra banks coloring and since they were on my behind, it was a little painful (felt like someone relentlessly pinching me). After I had to ice my bum and rub special ointment on the area to decrease the likelihood of infection since the laser creates tiny holes on your skin. After a week all tenderness was gone but the skin was a little dry.

After 4 treatments I got the results I desired and didn’t go back for more (they had recommended 5). The final results are supposed to be visible by June since that is how long it will take for the skin to fully heal, but they are already not noticeable to the naked eye. On a side note the laser tightens they skin so my little cellulite areas went with the stretchmarks, woot woot!

      • meryl says:

fabulous. i though about it too!

  11. Tracy says:

How cute. Looks like she attempting a smile in that last pic.

  12. swack says:

Her hair really needs a good trim. Those ends look horrible!

  13. GeeMoney says:

    SNOOZE

  14. Ash says:

I would undergo treatment to remove stretch marks but she has gone too far. Her face is destroyed and to be worried about a scar on her toe, she needs to focus more on her daughter and setting an example for her not her obsession with any sort of cosmetic procedures.

  15. Dani says:

Most marks fade or completely disappear within a year. Has she heard of bio oil? Wtf is wrong with this girl??? How about spend some time with your baby instead of gallivanting around frigid nyc for shits and giggles?

  16. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I don’t like fur on anyone for obvious reasons, but it despise it on men for aesthetic ones.

    • Me too. If someone is going to wear a faux fur, or fur coat–let it be the woman. I hate the look on a man.

      • ZigZagZoey says:

        :sarcasm:
But Kanye is not “just a man”….He’s Yeezus.

LMFAO ~ I saw this comment on the Superficial
Kanye defends his fashion choice by saying, “This is just what’s clung to me after Kim shaved.” ~ Odbarc

    • lucy says:

I think fur looks ridiculous on any creature other than the one whose back it came off of.

    • Nina W says:

I find fur acceptable if you hunted and skinned the animal, ate it for dinner, tanned the hide and sewed the coat and are wearing it to keep from freezing to death and not die of exposure otherwise no.

  17. bros says:

that is 100% real fur, just like kanye’s coat.

  18. snowflake says:

wow, i could retire if i had all the money she’s spent on cosmetic surgery/procedures. it’s amazing how shallow and self-absorbed she is. how sad, that all she can think about is how she looks. what is she going to do when she starts getting older, i mean looking older? shes going to freak out!!

  19. hunter says:

Yes the scarf looks like real fur. And no, it’s not really that cold here Kanye but nice try. I didn’t even wear gloves yesterday and he’s decked out in a fur coat?! Please.

  20. ashley says:

I wish i could get rid of my stretch marks!!! I hate them, but i’m poor so:(

    • Mingy says:

same here ashley. a peasant like me just has to except that such is life. my husband loves my ass …stretch marks and all, so i’m good i suppose 😉

  21. Size Does Matter says:

If she has stretch marks on her boobs, they should be ALL OVER her stomach, too. Yet we have seen bikini photos with no stretch marks. Photoshop or tummy tuck?

    • Lindy says:

Not necessarily…. I am pretty small (5’2″ and about 110). When I got pregnant I gained an average amount of weight. But my boobs went from a B to a DD within a span of about 3 weeks in my 2nd trimester. And then I breastfed for 13 months. And now my boobs are deflated B/C with TONS of gross stretch marks everywhere. And not a single stretch mark on my belly at all.

I don’t know what determines where and how you get them. And I have never gotten mine to fade (my son is 4 now), and certainly bio-oil and retin creams have not worked. I am self-conscious about them and I hate them, and they extend fairly far up my chest. Bathing suits are hard to find and even some modest V-necks.

So I can’t shade her for wanting to get rid of them. And I don’t think it’s necessarily true that if you have them in one place you would get them in another.

      • Size Does Matter says:

You are lucky about your belly – I am covered with stretch marks and hate them. I’d have them removed, too, if I thought there were an effective, non-surgical way to do it. Maybe the new laser treatments actually work.

Kim gained what looked from photos like way more than average, and she was really swollen. I’d be shocked if she didn’t have stretch marks on her belly since it wasn’t a gradual, average weight gain. But you never see photos of celebrities with stretch marks on their stomachs. Photoshop, I think.

      • MorticiansDoItDeader says:

Ladies. Invest in a good dermaroller. Google dermaroller for stretchmarks, before and after. It is just as good, if not better, than laser treatment (which only fades stretchmarks). I use the dermaroller on my face for rosacea and on my hips (where I developed stretchmarks during puberty). They aren’t noticeable at all now.

  22. booboolarue says:

These pix are odd, she looks so alien and plastic.

    • ZigZagZoey says:

Like a genuine blow up doll! That’s it! That is the look she is going for!

      • Nina W says:

That’s that sad thing, she looks so plastic but she doesn’t even look like a doll anymore, she just looks like a circus sideshow.

  23. jojolefttheroom says:

Kanye looks like he’s heading off for a lunch date with Joe Namath.

I wonder if they have laser treatments for Kim’s brain? Ya think maybe, just maybe, it could improve things just a tad?

  24. Chrissy says:

I pity her that this is all she has to talk about! Does she even know what’s going on in the world right now??? I doubt it – she is the centre of her universe. The day she realizes she looks old despite al the procedures will be the worst day of her life!

  25. Dizzle says:

Next she’ll be wanting to shave down her trachea just like Bruce.

  26. Zigggy says:

Did it work for the stretch marks, I wonder? I’m thinking about getting my tummy done eventually.

    • Ash says:

I wonder the same thing cause I want to have it done!

    • Jen34 says:

If your stretch marks are red, they will turn white and become less noticeable. However, I do not believe they completely go away. If it makes you feel better, plenty of women have them and not just from pregnancy.

      • Zigggy says:

You’re right- I don’t think they ever totally go away. Mine are on each side of my belly button, so I don’t think a tummy tuck will help. I’m going to lose around 25 pounds and if my skin looks loose I’m going to try Venus Freeze- but I’m hoping the skin just tightens up naturally, but I’ve been a bit overweight for almost 3 years (and I hold most weight in my middle), plus a pregnancy so it’s been tough on the skin. But the stretch marks have faded a lot in the 8 months since I’ve had my baby, and I’m learning to not let them bother me- there are so many more important things to worry about 🙂

    • It'sJustBlanche says:

I did a tummy tuck and it’s gorgeous. Yes, I have a scar, but I had a C-section with both pregnancies so I didn’t really care. A year later the scar has almost faded and I love it. Depending on where you got stretchmarks, you’ll lose all or most of them with a tummy tuck. Worth every penny. Just make sure you’re at a good weight first. “Ideal” isn’t really necessary but close to it is good, because you shouldn’t lose or gain a lot after.

      • Zigggy says:

Oh to have the c-section/tummy tuck combo a la (allegedly) Posh Spice & Mariah, eh? 😉 Did you have your tummy tuck at the same time as the section? Do they do that since most women’s belly’s are still large right after birth?

      • Nina W says:

They never do it with the c-section, urban legend, doctors wait for the skin to “settle” after pregnancy before doing cosmetic procedures like tummy tucks. I mean you can maybe find some fly by night douche that will do anything but no reputable doctor will combine the procedures.

  27. jwoolman says:

Does this mean she’s not planning another pregnancy? I thought Kanye was all for providing little North ByNorth West with a brother or sister to keep her company while those strangers alleged to be her parents go gallivanting.

    • Nina W says:

You don’t see the fore-shadowing? I think she’s going to run into sudden, unexplained fertility issues and be forced to hire a surrogate to appease her burning desire to be a mother again.

  28. snowflake says:

this “girl” needs to grow up and stop acting like a self-absorbed teenager. THERE IS MORE TO LIFE THAN WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE! I can see wanting to get stretch marks removed, but the lengths to which this girl is obsessed with how she looks is ridiculous.

  29. idk says:

Since the E cameras were there to capture it all, the procedure was FREE for her.

I like in the second to last pic how she looks so surprised to see the paps. Please, we know YOU called them.

  30. Annie says:

As if that’s all she had done – I guess that’s her publicity strategy, cop to one minor procedure, in the hopes that we all don’t notice the tummy tuck, boob lift, lipo, fat transfer etc etc.

  31. RN says:

When I was a little girl, I used to love hugging my grandmother, because she was so soft and squishy. It was comforting to be in her arms. Now my mom is in her 80s and she has that same feel. I feel sorry for Kim’s little girl, as she’ll never know what it’s like to embrace a soft, real woman who has aged naturally. She’ll just be hugging tight plastic.

  32. AMBER5ASH says:

My God, she’s looking more and more like her mother, just w/ a fatter ass.

    • Nina W says:

Yep, they have the same surgically produced haggard appearance, I noticed as well. Kris’s nose is a disaster, I guess Kim aspires to that level of self-mutilation as well.

  33. WendyNerd says:

Any piece of information involving the name “Kardashian” is TMI.

  34. MinnFinn says:

TMI for most of us yeah, but titillating for those who admire her bodacious ta-ta’s. My 17 yr old nephew probably drools over this story. And btw, maybe the surgery is prep for posing for Playboy again. Didn’t she say she wanted to do another spread for them?

  35. sybaritic1 says:

    *Semi-OT*
I’m sorry to be so out of the loop, but when did she get a nose job? It’s been looking much shorter, but I can’t pinpoint since when…
Feel free to ignore if this has already been rehashed!

    • Chrissy says:

I suspect it was right after Nori was born – remember Kim disappeared for about 3 months, long enough to recover from a nose job. Sorry to say I thought she was actually bonding with her newborn!

      • sybaritic1 says:

Right? I did too… I guess I’m a sucker for all that media BS.
But Kim better watch herself. She’s beginning to go full Heidi Montag.

  36. IceQueen says:

With that kind of clothing choices she’ll never be on vogue. I wouldn’t put her on the front cover. Not in million years. It will never sell.

  37. Maggie Grace says:

I’ve been pregnant with and birthed 3 babies and gained exactly 30 pounds with each. No stretch marks anywhere – none on belly, boobs, hips, thighs, etc. Lucky I guess.

    • Nina W says:

Yeah it’s luck, genetics, whatever, good for you! Of course you helped yourself by not overdoing it calorie wise. Stretch marks often do come from rapid weight gain but there is a huge genetic component and they just happen.

  38. Oh La La says:

He looks ridiculous. It makes me laugh that he truly believes that he’s some innovative fashionista.

  39. nikko says:

She’s not the only one getting this done, it’s a SoCAL thing, Everyone (including men) is getting some type of surgery to enhance their looks. It’s almost like, if u know, if you don’t your the weird one.

  40. SnarkGirl says:

Age is *not* going to be kind to this woman.

All the surgery, botox, implants, fillers, and fat injections in the world aren’t going to stop her aging and the older she gets the more desperate she’s going to be to hang on to her (ahem) looks. She’s going to end up another Wildenstein-type creature at the rate she’s going now, and that will probably seem mild by comparison to what she’s going to be doing 5 or 10 years from now.

The fallout from her hitting 40 is going to be epic.

  41. Mika302 says:

I c nothing wrong with lasering off stretch marks. Thy don’t always fade or go away…my youngest daughter is 9 and I still them. I hate them, on my hips and stomach. So shade her for all the other work but NOT for this. I also have some friends tht never even got stretch marks..crazy!!!

  42. pru says:

Does this mean she’s done having kids? I couldn’t imagine doing this if you were going to get pregnant again.

    • Nina W says:

She was miserable during her pregnancy, she’ll never go through that again, it’s obvious. Kanye may delude himself otherwise but she’s never going through that again.

  43. Evi says:

It is a bona fide fur scarf. Fox fur. Quite a contradiction considering her sister’s anti fur coat.
It costs $4000 and it’s by Marni….well not by Marni, it’s just the label that has bloodied its hands.
    http://www.stylecaster.com/fall-2013-trends-colored-fur/

  44. cha bor says:

Hi Lele25, I was wondering if you could tell me what the name of the laser you used is? I was hoping to google it. I’ve got awful stretchmarks on different parts of my body but I really want to get rid of the ones on my arms. I can’t wear sleeveless tops and dresses because of it. It’s fine during winter but Australian summers are insanely hot!

  45. Lauraq says:

When I quit smoking, my butt grew three sizes overnight . Naturally I got stretch marks, but they went away on their own after a couple years. Is that not normal? (As far as my butt goes, it is now higher and tighter than it was when I did smoke, because I took up running once I could breathe again)
