Ashton Kutcher: ‘Being the one-night-stand guy is also just a little gross’

wenn21159750

Here are some photos of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis at last night’s Lakers game at the Staples Center. The Lakers were playing the New Orleans Pelicans (the Pelicans won). I think this is what we’re supposed to believe, and maybe it’s true: Ashton loves Mila because she’s the kind of girl who will always be up for a Lakers game. As opposed to Demi Moore, who rarely wanted to go to a game or do anything that involved Ashton’s interests. Mila is “the fun girlfriend,” the girlfriend who likes sports and that’s why Ashton proposed. Sure. I guess I’ll buy that.

It was just announced yesterday that Mila is going to guest star on Two and a Half Men. According to THR, Mila will be playing “Vivian, a young, beautiful and free-spirited world traveler who shows up on Walden’s doorstep. Walden feels an instant connection with her, convinced she’s ‘the one.’ The problem is, Walden was about to propose to someone else.” If you watch the show, I’m sure that will mean something to you but it’s all Greek to me. I actually watch the last two minutes of that stupid show every week because it’s on just before Elementary (which is an awesome show and it doesn’t deserve such a stupid lead-in). I feel like Mila is slumming it a little bit by appeared on Ashton’s show, but whatever. They want to work together again, and maybe it’s sweet.

Meanwhile, Ashton has a new interview in Men’s Fitness. He talks about how he’s ready to settle down (again) and he says:

“Being a single guy can be a lot of fun . . . when you’re financially independent [and] can do whatever you want, whenever you want… [but] For every girl you have a good time with for one night, if you want to stay single, that’s the same girl that you have to not call back. After a while, being the one-night-stand guy is also just a little gross.”

[From Page Six]

Yeah, he mastered the one night stand when he was married to Demi. Maybe he’s saying that he got it out of his system? Maybe he’s saying that the mistakes he made during his first marriage aren’t going to affect his marriage to Mila? I don’t know. I want to believe, but I just can’t. I think Ashton is still the same douche.

“Ashton Kutcher: Being Ashton Kutcher is also just a little gross.”

    Fixed that for you, Ash.

    • Sort of Agree says:

Well said. I wouldn’t know for sure but he just seems as immature as before but now he’s regretting the backlash he got. He didn’t care at all when his ONS sold their stories to tabloids. For me the fact that those girls said he didn’t like to use condoms was the most off-putting part, but the fact he can’t act is another. Douche!

  2. paola says:

Is he trying to brainwash us? Should we play his game where we all pretend we don’t know what happened while he was married? I can’t believe how fake people can be. He’s gross, a one night stand is perfectly fine if you’re single. just take a seat now and STFU.

  3. Nerd Alert says:

I think Ashton wants to believe, too. He really wants to stop being a dbag, but he can’t. These two have always held a candle for each other and I’m going to stop judging Mila over this. It seems right for now that they be together.

    • lunchcoma says:

That sounds right to me. Ashton kind of reminds me of a friend of mine in some ways. He genuinely falls in love and genuinely wants to be faithful, but after awhile, he gets careless and gives into his impulses and screws it up again.

I don’t think this will end well, but I don’t judge them for trying, either.

      • Nerd Alert says:

You and me, same mind (I have a similar friend). I think Ashton really wants to be faithful to Mila, and if he’ll be true to anyone it’s her.

My friend has a special girl like that, too, and they’ve never dated because one or the other has always been in a relationship. She’s about to be proposed to now, though. I hope he takes it well if she says yes.

  4. SonjaMarmeladova says:

    I like them.
Why are these people so dressed up for a basketball game?

    • skeksis says:

Uh, because they’re sitting court side and they’re celebrities and they are going to have their picture taken?

    • TheCountess says:

That’s dressed up? I guess I wear formal wear to games in comparison to them. They look sloppy to me.

      • SonjaMarmeladova says:

She’s wearing heels. And a blazer. He looks okay. Jerseys and sneakers are for sports games. And so what if they’re celebrities? You can wear makeup and look good in more casual wear.

      • TheCountess says:

What I’m saying is, I would (and do) wear heels, and a dress and makeup to sporting events. I don’t dress like that, ever. To me, they’re dressed very casually.

      • Virgilia Coriolanus says:

Those aren’t heels–they’re wedges…a little fancier than sneakers.

      • Nerd Alert says:

LOL never come to Colorado. You would find us all to be terribly underdressed for everything ever.

    • Marigold says:

      Jeans? What’s dressed up?

    • lunchcoma says:

The dress code for celebrities is usually a little stricter than for civilians. Also, they probably went out to dinner either before or after the game, so didn’t want to wear sneakers and t shirts.

      • LadySlippers says:

The dress code for *female* celebs is stricter. He looks normal but she’s definitely more photo op friendly.

    • ataylor says:

Yes. Exactly. The last time Mila and Ashton were photographed at a Laker game Mila was wearing a tshirt, jeans and sneakers. Very casual. This was a calculated move to show off the ring like her “casual yet totally planned” outing at The Grove to announce her engagement…after she selectively invited certain paps to give E and People the exclusive. For someone who is SO private, she really has those planned photo ops and paps on speed dial doesnt she? Then again I used to work in the industry so I can smell the hypocrisy from a mile away.

    • snowflake says:

i think they’re overdressed too. no offense, but why would you wear heels and to a sports game? sports to me = casual wear. you’re walking up/down lots of steps in heels. wouldn’t you be afraid you’d fall?

  5. GoodNamesAllTaken says:

What is wrong with me that I think they’re sweet together. I see it. I seeee the douche. But I still think she’s been good for him. And they seem really in love. I’m probably just setting myself up for heartache.

    • +1.
I’m by no means a romantic but I see these two lasting.

    • Nerd Alert says:

They really do seem very in love. I hope he flies straight.

    • Jaderu says:

Agree. I like her a lot so I’m biased. They seem like they really love each other and enjoy each other’s company. I’m probably setting myself up for heartache as well. GoodNames, I’ll bring the wine and the tub of ice cream when it happens.

    • bluhare says:

      I agree, GoodNames.

People do change, and maybe he’s getting a little older and wiser.

    • Zigggy says:

I kinda like them too. And I never watch that show (except for the 1st episode with Ashton) but I kinda want to watch that episode. I was a big 70s Show fan back in the day, though I’m more of a Donna than a Jackie 😉

  6. Luca26 says:

Same douche. For a long time he used to gush about Demi to the point that it the one thing I found redeemable about him. So I can’t bring myself to believe he’s changed.

  7. ViktoryGin says:

Too me he’s not the same kind of nasty douche like Charlie Sheen or John Mayer. Not a fan of his but he has always struck me as the douche that least tries to do better. Time will tell.

Totally co-sign with their writing her into TAHM. Bitch, you are an oscar-nominated actress and your wasting your talents with this unnecessary crap? Ugh.

  8. Angel L says:

No comment on Ashton or Mila but GO PELICANS!!! woot woot

  9. Marisa says:

The douche is strong with this one.
I really do wish them the best of luck, but I won’t be shocked to see their split in the future (call me a cynic)

  10. Dani says:

I feel like he’s equally douchey to Demi’s psychoness so it’s not really fair to constantly pin him as the bad guy (yes I know cheating is bad but no one knows what really happened, especially when she refused to sign divorce papers because she was holding onto hope). I like Ashton and Mila together and I don’t mind them separately either.

    • T.C. says:

Even if she refused to give him a divorce. He could have moved out of the house, announced he was seeking a divorce but she was holding out then start dating whom ever he wants. I have no excuse for people living with their spouses and cheating. There is no need for that. It’s just men wanting their cake and to eat it too. Plus it ‘a just disrespectful.

    • sienna says:

I thought Ashton and Demi had an open marriage. I that case it isn’t cheating, it’s part of their arrangement. Not something I would ever agree to with my own marriage, but different strokes for different folks.

  11. HoustonGrl says:

There’s nothing gross about sex between two consensual adults. Also, since when did he become holier-than-thou?

    • lunchcoma says:

I’m just about to write a comment that’s more critical of him for a different reason, but I don’t actually think he’s slut shaming here. He’s talking about himself and his own behavior, and I think it’s valid for him to find his own consensual actions to be gross and regrettable. I actually think he did a fairly good job of limiting the statement to his feelings about himself, rather than his feelings about his sex partners.

    • SonjaMarmeladova says:

I think he meant he felt gross because he never called any of them back, not necause of the sex itself.

  12. paris hilton says:

That last pic, with his mouth open, I can hear Kelso shouting “BURN!!!”

  13. bettyrose says:

Some of us girls like sports and it’s not about being the “cool girlfriend. ” I think Mila has been his longtime forbidden love. That’s the appeal imo. Nothing wrong with that.

    • K says:

I like hockey and my husband doesn’t know his icing from his neutral zone. (In fairness, I’m the same about soccer.) It’s a shame we don’t share a sporting passion, but I’m not about to adopt his when my own is so much more fun to watch.

Edited: that’s a longwinded way of saying plus one on the sporting comment, btw!

  14. Swordspoint says:

I love her blazer! Anyone know the designer? (Or even better, a good source for something similar but not crazy bucks?)

    • sienna says:

For something similar try mcginn, they are gorgeous and well priced. I buy mine at Nordstrom (sometimes they are even at the Rack!)

  15. Jane Q. Doe says:

Lol Kaiser, that’s the only reason I’ve ever seen any of “Two & 1/2 men”, because of the infinitely superior “Elementary”! I adore Jonny Lee Miller and the ageless Lucy Liu.

As for Ashton & Mila, I think Bettyrose might be right, that he’s been into her since That 70’s Show, and when they were both single (ish), he finally got his chance.

  16. Californiadreams says:

Ever since he played a rescue swimmer in The Guardian, I can’t help but have a soft spot for him, since that’s what my husband does in real life. Weird I know, but I just always see him as that character now. I hope they work out/stay together.

  17. K says:

I think Demi was probably hell on wheels to be married to by the end, but I also think he was an arse to her. I like Mila Kunis, and I really hope his wild oats are all sown, but I’m sure he made similar pronouncements when he married before. I think people who talk similarly about every relationship they’re in are suspect, because it implies the relationship is all about them, and not the dynamics – let alone the other person.
