Katy Perry attended the LA MOCA event in Versace. We haven’t seen Katy wear Versace on the red carpet since 2011. She did make an awful statement in 2012 about Japanese people and Versace: “I’m so obsessed with you, I wanna skin you and wear you like Versace.” (Katy would make the most vacuous serial killer ever.) This dress is unfortunate by default because of the double mullet. Without the front mullet, Katy could show off her legs to great advantage. The dress doesn’t photograph well in stills, but I included some photos of Katy waving it around for fun.
During her red-carpet travels, Katy told told Mark Malkin she’s planning on dying her hair “slime green” for spring. She also regrets her bangs: “I kind of cut my bangs in haste and now I want them gone.” Slime green? I’m sure Katy’s gross new man will appreciate that color.
Dianna Agron wore a cute Louis Vuitton dress. The cut is fantastic, the belt is perfect, and the skirt panels are great. How fun and funky without being overly twee.
Pharrell and Helen Lasichanh overwhelm my eyes. These two crazy kids accessorized to the max. Pharrell must have that Mountie hat in every color.
Jane Fonda looked elegant and age appropriate in her black gown.
Patricia Arquette is such a fashion weirdo, but I appreciate how she owns that mess.
Gia Coppola‘s dress was boring, but she looks so much like her aunt Sofia.

I like Katy’s dress better than Dianna’s dress. The Vuitton looks like a hot mess and the booties don’t help. Katy looks, for a change, put together.

I actually really like Katy Perry’s dress, especially compared with the other dresses on this post (and even past dresses she’s worn). The cut is fun and so are her accessories.

One of you promised me that Pharrell was going to sell that hat for charity and stop wearing it, so I was not emotionally prepared to witness it again. I have a headache now. I can’t believe you lied to me, either.
But.. he has one in every color. When he wears the hat though he doesn’t look shorter than his wife, both are so adorable I want to put them in my pocket. I do like Helen’s boots.
I like Katy’s hair and the top of her dress, the bottom not so much.
I’m sorry to say he only sold the brown one to charity. Be prepared Scar style for a lime green one at some point.

I like Katy’s dress. Her hair looks good too. I think Diana Agron is very beautiful but I’m not impressed with her dress at all.

ok i gotta share… my sis (who no longer posts here cuz of the shame-police & ‘Jezebel’-holier-than-thous) has very strong suspicions that Katy Perry may be one of many who recently came between L’Wren & Mick. She says that the current Stones Tour was featuring guest-performers (women), AND didnt KP recently come out w/ some comment about how Mick had hit on her in the past?? interesting. Sheryl Crow, Taylor Swift and others were in on the tour at different times. Former blinds had alluded that he was cheating w/ groupies AND celebs. can someone get back to me on this? i think sis is onto something………

Before I clicked through to this article I thought by double mullet you were referring to her hair, like she had a mullet hairstyle but it was somehow a super mullet, maybe like a bowl cut with long hair underneath? I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! I really wanted to see some tragic hair, well, more tragic than it currently is anyway.
That’s definitely not a Mountie hat, the brim is wrong. It would be flat if it was. It’s more likely some sort of exaggerated derby.
Whoever did Katy’s makeup should be fired. Her eyes look like they belong on two different faces.
