Naya Rivera’s broken engagement to Big Sean was and is a mess. It’s sad that more people don’t care about it, because this whole thing is drenched in some juicy scandal. As we discussed last week, Naya pretty much accused Big Sean of stealing a watch from her as they broke up, and Big Sean wants people to think that Naya is crazy and jealous. Of course, I tend to believe that Big Sean was fooling around on Naya, so she had a reason to be crazy and jealous, right? Right. Anyway, there’s a good blind item that many people think is about Naya and Big Sean and the BI basically says that Big Sean was banging one of Naya’s costars. Some people think it was Lea Michele. Which might have led to this mess:

Sources close to Naya tell TMZ most of the cast and crew were annoyed on Tuesday by Lea’s diva antics — like making everyone else wait to shoot a scene … while she stepped away to deal with personal matters. We’re told tensions finally got so bad Naya “had the stones” to go to producers and let them know — on behalf of everyone — that Lea was pissing off people.

Our Naya sources say when Lea returned to resume shooting she got wind of Naya’s chat with producers — and left the set in a huff.

Now our Lea sources had a different take — telling us Lea was totally unaware of any complaints about her … and Lea and Naya weren’t even shooting scenes together. They also say it was Naya who got tossed off the set. We got several tips claiming Naya was fired — but Naya sources say that’s just not true.

Stories about Lea’s diva antics are a dime a dozen. As soon as she got even a modicum of fame, every single person who ever worked with her basically had the same story: she’s smug, she’s conceited, she’s rude, she’s difficult, she’s dismissive, and yes, she’s a diva. So after hearing it so many times, I believe it. But I do think that there’s probably a secret history of angst/bitchery between Lea and Naya. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Incidentally, Star Magazine had a good story about Lea and her career… on television. Because Star says that no one in Hollywood is really eager to see Lea make the leap to movie star. A source told Star: “Lea sees herself as a huge movie star. She thought that she’d have blockbuster roles by now, but all she gets are small film offers.” She should be happy she gets any offers, because, as the source continues: “she has a reputation for being incredibly difficult to work with. They’re worried she’ll encourage the cast to gang up against the directors and producers like she did on Glee.” Very interesting.
