The Rebranding of Gwyneth Paltrow continued last week. The Old Gwyneth, the pre-consciously uncoupled Goop, would only hang around A-listers, rich people and paid gurus. She would hang out with Cameron Diaz and Beyonce and maybe Maya Rudolph (an old school friend). But the rebranded Goop, the new Goop, is more equal-opportunity. Perhaps because she needs all the allies she can get, because there are probably a few more shoes to drop before her divorce is finalized. Which is why Gwyneth ended up having a girls’ night with: Nicole Richie, Sam Taylor Johnson, Naomi Watts, Chelsea Handler, Gwen Stefani and Stella McCartney.
Stella, Nicole and Goop posted group photos on their Instagrams, and I kind of like the other women more for not posting photos. Granted, Gwen and Gwyneth have been friends for years. It’s been said before, but Gwen is like Switzerland. She’s friends with everybody in Hollywood and the music industry. You’d be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t like Stefani. Stella and Gwyneth have been friends forever too – their friendship has been on-going for more than a decade. But the rest of these ladies? When did Goop become tight with Nicole Richie of all people? Or Naomi Watts?! I mean, everybody likes Naomi, I’m sure, but she’s not one of the actresses I associate with “girls’ nights” or “let’s take group selfies and post them to Instagram!”
As for Chelsea Handler… lord, I can only imagine what goes down at a Chelsea Handler party. Goop has been on Chelsea Lately several times, and I always thought they were more “business associates” than work friends. It speaks volumes about Gwyneth’s current state if she’s doing girls’ nights with Chelsea. Oh, and Sam Taylor Johnson?!?! WTH?
PS… I’m including another one of Gwyneth’s IG photos, she posted one of Apple and Moses hugging her last week. The rebranding is supposed to be “Gwyneth is all about motherhood,” but I suspect we’re also supposed to be looking at her toned thighs.

I’ve only heard Chelsea in a Howard Stern interviewand she came across really well. Is she really that bad?
I heard an interview with her on the WTF podcast and after about 10 minutes she dropped the annoying grating persona and she seemed to be a nice person (not something that usually come across)
I know someone who worked with her. She’s a nasty, racist, vile person. It says a lot about the people who are friends with her.
So what if she is real and unpretentious. That’s doesn’t excuse the fact that she attacks children, uses racist slurs and bitches about women she has never met.
Plus she has the audacity to attack another women and calling her a home wrecker while she herself slept with a married with children tv producer to get her job on E. Plus she use to brutally attack Jennifer Aniston for years and then bam she signed on with CAA and now kisses her arse. So no she is not real and unpretentious.
I don’t know, what I get, from her talk show or in itw, is that she is insecure and therefore quite bitchy. Don’t find her funny – all her skits seem splatted with bitterness.
You know she would probably be mean to all of these women weren’t she in the picture. But she is delight to be accepted by the A-list Hollywood girls. And she will brag about it, oh yeah she will.
I also know someone who worked for her who said that Chelsea employed some crude humor, but she always treated her employees well and with respect.
Eleanor, she’s generally OK when she does radio or podcasting but a hit-miss on tv or when doing standup. I like that she has chutzpah and that she gives lesser known comedians some exposure on her show. I’ll give her that.

She does look embarrassed. Stella drunk, Chelsea looks so excited to use this as proof she’s better than Angela Jolie because she has girlfriends.

Sam Taylor-Johnson? Well Stella might be the connection there. Sam directed the movie Nowhere Boy about John Lennon’s childhood (which of course included Paul McCartney) and as I recall Paul didn’t find it totally accurate but also thought it was a good movie. Sam and her husband were also at Paul’ wedding reception a few years back I think. I love these odd celeb connections.
So weird. She and her husband always seem so wannabe artsy and then they hang out with Handler? This is cracking me up.

Is anyone wondering how long Aaron and Sam are going to last living in L.A. like I am!!?
Also I wonder if Gwyneth the Abominable Husband Stealer actually instructs her kids to turn and hide or whatever when the camera hits, cause when Beysus does it, it does look like whatever angle has been orchestrated or cut just so not to show a fidgety baby, but these kids are fake-not-posed A little more a propos therefore More Ridiculous?

And this, right here is why I DETEST the phrases girl’s girl or guy’s girl. Because the sole point is that we women are supposed to just LOVE one (girl’s girl) and HATE the other(guy’s girl). As if the sex of one’s friends tells us if someone is a good person or not.
And I’m sure if asked Gwyneth would say she’s a “girl’s girl.” Never mind how much of a privileged asshole she is. And don’t get me started on Chelsea Handler.

OH man, I am glad the public is finally seeing what a phony and horrible person she is – long time coming. All PR and her influence on other women is awful – very very negative. Any woman around her ends up used and stabbed in the back by her. Look how she has changed Cameron who was such a sweetheart? And even worse, she is responsible for Nicole becoming anorexic again….thank God Chris and kids are getting away from her. She will resort to anything, including using her kids for her image (unimaginable) and to manipulate Chris to keep him from leaving for years. There is much much much more on the woman and friends and I are relieved after witnessing her behavior for decades that is is starting to come out – not even tip of the iceberg known about her yet.
The real story is that GOOP (the business) is $1.2 million in debt. Sorry – can’t add the link. The CEO resigned recently and paid his interest-free debt back to the business. Paltrow hasn’t paid hers back yet.
Managing money is for peasants. Go on holiday somewhere exotic whilst the business burns.
