Initially i thought these two were going to be a disaster, but they grew on me. Thats a shame.

  2. lunchcoma says:

Cara is 21. Michelle has a history of substance abuse and domestic violence. They seemingly went public with their relationship as soon as they started dating.

I’m surprised it lasted this long.

  3. mimif says:

    Nobody saw that coming.

  4. blue marie says:

Hey, Craig is not quitting, him and CBS are just consciously uncoupling. I’ll miss Craig, hopefully he moves on to somewhere else because hes hilarious.

The level of destruction those tornadoes (what was it, around 100?) have caused is unbelievable. I’m torn because while I want to know what’s coming, it breaks my heart to see the devastation. That weatherman did the right thing in getting his people to the safest place possible.

    • mimif says:

A poster (sorry can’t remember who, it’s on the Chelsea Handjob thread) wrote he’s getting a 12mil payout and off to do his own gameshow.

      • blue marie says:

        Good for him then!

      • Bridget says:

He got a HUGE payout just for being passed over for the Letterman desk (something like $10 mill in his contract). If CBS is gently making him leave its probably a ton more money. For what its worth, Joel McHale said Craig makes an obscene amount of money with his standup. Craig will be just fine.

    • gg says:

What happened to his face??? Saw him yesterday and was shocked. He’s trying to be the next George Hamiltan. Or Cheetoh of the Scots.

Giving props to the soccer player that ate the banana that was thrown on the field in response to the ignorance that goes on at some of those matches. You rock, dude.

      +1000

    • minime says:

He’s Daniel Alves. He had an amazingly cool response and stirred up a conversation about racism in sports (well…in everywhere). I was a bit surprised it happened in Spain (I know about Italy, but Spain was surprising for me). Good thing is that now the guy who threw the banana has a lifetime ban from his soccer club games. If only it was always like that!!!

      • Ag-UK says:

No Spain has their issues as well as Italy.
I had the monkey noises made when I had my 8 month old on my shoulders 2’kids (10-13) in a car with their parents. If I didn’t think I would get run over I almost made a beeline to the car while they were at a light. This was Florence

      • minime says:

        Ag-UK:
I’m sorry you had to experience that…human beings can be more than disgusting.
Still, I’m a bit lost in your comment. You tell a story about Florence, Italy, and say that Spain also has its issues. As I said before, Italy is unfortunately very known for this behavior (well, look how they treat their minister who is a POC), but in Spain this is not common to happen and I don’t think people take this behavior lightly. Still, concerning racism, there is a long way to walk for most of the world.

      • Bshg says:

Excuse me, I am Italian and I don’t like generalisations of any kind. Sure, we have our issues and I am not denying it, but racism, ignorance and bigotry, sadly, are widespread everywhere and bear no flags nor colors. I despise racism in all its forms and I am horrified at the thought of what those kids made to you. But their nationality has nothing to do with their obscene behaviour! I experienced racism in different forms myself, and I am a white female. If we want to really do something against racism, we need to stop simplifying the issue with dumb equations like italy and spain = racists

  6. MissTrial says:

Cara reminds me of Kim Alexis

  7. Mona says:

    Michelle can do way better.

    (Pick me!)

    • Amy Tennant says:

Both women are so hot! I was afraid the age difference would do them in, though.

      (Pick me, too, Michelle)!

  8. magpie says:

Star Wars cast announced and no Lupita?!

    • Hiddles forever says:

Mark Hamill in that picture seems Russell Crowe lol

      • magpie says:

Yeah, kinda fascinated by the pic. The young dudes are in a corner, the ladies are talking and Harrison is next to JJ like some big brown noser.

    • Tatjana says:

Maybe she will be announced later?
Dimhnall Gleeson and Oscar Isaac are in it which makes me quite happy.

    • Cazzee says:

Unfortunately, no Lupita….and no other female actors either. The new cast is a sausagefest. 🙁

Same old, same old. What a drag. Oooh, look, a bunch of male actors! Well they can all hang out with each other and be male together all they want – I’m not going to see this new Star Wars movie. The last ‘new’ ones sucked and I was sorry I wasted my money and time watching them. This deal is clearly more of the same wooden acting and dumb plotlines, but this time they are not getting my money.

It’s a shame, really – Lupita would have been an absolutely marvelous presence in the new Star Wars film.

      • Side-Eye says:

You wanna simmer down until the entire cast is announced? Jesus Christ, and it’s kind of insulting to the actresses that have been confirmed as main characters in the movie.

  9. LAK says:

I hope not. I was enjoying their shenanigans.

  10. dulcinea says:

I was so proud of Dani Alves when he ate the banana. He and all the other south American players have a really hard time in Europe with these so call ‘fans’ that spill their vitriol all the time. I had the worst time in Spain for this very reason, people are incredibly racist and rude there.

    • Tatjana says:

That was a horrible thing to happen, but I don’t think you should judge an entire country based on the behaviour of football hooligans.
That being said, I’ve never been to Spain so I don’t know how things are there.

    • minime says:

As I said in my above comment, my experience with Spain is different. Racism is unfortunately still very alive everywhere in the world…also in South America. Europe is made of many countries and to generalize on one isolated behaviour that was exemplary punished is a undeserved stretch.

    • roci says:

Well, I´m sorry you had a bad time in Spain. I can assure you the vast majority of Spaniards are kind, open, and friendly to everyone. Of course we have our fair share of assholes, but please don´t judge an entire country by the behavior of a few of its citizens.

    • PattyCakes says:

this is unfortunate, as I’m Black and have been there and had a fabulous experience and was told many times that I was attractive. Maybe it was a regional thing though, as I spent more time in the southern parts of Spain. I know the northern parts can be alot more racist.

  11. danielle says:

Why do people get so insane about weddings? Having someone crash yours is pretty hysterical!

  12. danielle says:

Also, getting psyched for star wars! Hope lupita gets a part tho.

    • Mia4S says:

Nope, no Lupita, that’s the full main cast right there. But hey, look! One whole woman added to the cast! *eyeroll*

    • Amy Tennant says:

I was hoping my hubby David would get a part. He said he wanted to be in it. Oh well, there will be other Star Wars movies. Star Wars has always had a big problem with not enough female characters– even the female Jedi in the prequels couldn’t get speaking parts.

I’ll bet if Joss had been on board, we’d have seen more women.

Whatever. I will never not like Star Wars, no matter how many bad prequels, sequels, novels, etc., may come out in the future.

  13. Lux says:

Oh no no no. I don’t want a life without Craig and Geoff Peterson ;(

    • Amy Tennant says:

Hoping CraigyFerg gets a good gig somewhere else. He’s my favorite talk show host.

  14. Trashaddict says:

Haha Chicago wins the beer-soaked mile. 50,000 bottles from an overturned semi on the Eisenhower Expressway today. Now that’s a beer-soaked mile. I hope the driver’s ok tho.

  15. anne says:

    They were so cute together.

  16. Jade says:

    Angry baby looks angry

  17. Lili says:

Well, if Cara is as angry in private as she looks in pictures, I’m not surprised things ended between her and Michelle…
