These NRI (non residential Indians) try to be in touch with their root too hard and they are more closed compared to an every day person in India. I am an Indian married to a white guy, my family back in India didn't mind, but I am sure some Indian who would have born and brought up in America wouldn't usually do that because of their tight Indian family living in USA.
