People: Ashton Kutcher ‘hasn’t judged’ Mila Kunis for her pregnant body

FFN_RIJ_THIRD_PERSON_060914_51445983

Here are some new photos of Mila Kunis at last night’s premiere of Third Person. I don’t even know how pregnant Mila is, but I’m guessing… maybe five or six months? I don’t think this is a maternity dress, I think she just got a floaty slip dress in a big size. It’s cute. She’s glowing and her hair & skin look great.

I wanted to cover this because we haven’t had all of those photos of Mila and Ashton looking loved up, for which I’m grateful. I’m still not buying the idea that Mila has “changed” Asthon from a douchebag to some kind of content father-to-be. I think the douche is lurking in him, it’s just dormant right now. My evidence? This article in People Mag from a few weeks ago included one of the grossest passages ever:

Grocery trips, walks with the dogs and PDA at family-friendly baseball games – it’s safe to say that Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis are in full nesting mode.

“Ashton has been taking such good care of Mila,” says a source of the couple, who will welcome their daughter – yes, it’s a girl! – later this year.

“He’s doting on her and telling her she looks beautiful. He understands she’s going through changes and he hasn’t judged her for it.”

The parents-to-be, who began discussing names “right away” (and have since found the perfect one) also plan to move to new digs when the timing is right, says the insider. “They want to move and have more space and security for the baby.”

In the meantime, Kunis, 30, is staying fit with prenatal Pilates, yoga and spinning. “Mila seems determined to stay healthy during her pregnancy,” says a Kunis insider.

As far as the delivery, Kunis who is planning for a natural birth, has been meeting with doulas to discuss options – and Kutcher, 36, is on board. Says the source, “Ashton supports her 100 percent.”

No matter how she enters this world, it seems the couple’s first child will be a Daddy’s girl.

“Ashton was meant to be a father,” says the source. “It’s all he can talk about!”

[From People]

Did you catch that? “He’s doting on her and telling her she looks beautiful. He understands she’s going through changes and he hasn’t judged her for it.” Oh, thank you Ashton for not “judging” your partner’s body as she carries your child. What do you want, a medal? I can’t believe People Mag and Ashton’s publicist thought that was noteworthy enough to include in this article – “he’s such a good guy because she’s fat now and he hasn’t dumped her.” DOUCHEBAG.

Also, Ashton and Mila bought a new home together in Beverly Hills. Will Ashton sell his bachelor pad? Or will he need that for after Mila gives birth and he wants to spend time away from her post-partum body? No judgement, amirite Ashton?

    Errrr, congratulations?

    • Liv says:

He’s such an idiot! I feel sorry for her because sooner or later she will discover the asshole in him.

      • Tanguerita says:

THIS. Once a douche, always a douche.

      • FLORC says:

        No sympathy.
She’s turned into a douchette since getting with him.
I had the same reaction as in the article.
And since it’s People it was an approved message. Clearly Ashton is still a big enough jerk to think he should be sainted to not judge the weight gain of the woman carrying his child.

    • Lindy79 says:

      *snort* best reply.

    • Audrey says:

It’s seriously more insulting that he felt the need to make this public knowledge

You’re obviously not really okay with it if you feel like you deserve credit for being supportive.

My husband was supportive too but thankfully didn’t feel the need to brag about accepting my enormous belly and waddling

Mila looks gorgeous anyway so there’s not much to feel upset about seeing change. I looked nothing like that while pregnant lol.

      • FLORC says:

I’m sure if you had a team to make you feel, dress, look, gorgeous with a personal trainer you could surpass Mila with pregnancy Audrey.

And agree. That he needed this out there like he deserves praise shows how awful he is. If he kept quiet I would have thought he was giving up his self centered social and public image for his growing family and their privacy. THIS makes me believe he’ll never change and Mila will be in for a rude awakening.

      • Nikki says:

Because someone else gave this quote, does that definitely mean Ashton OK’D it? ? I didn’t know they had to get his approval; is everyone sure? If so, yup, pretty douchey!

      • ataylor says:

Yes. Its approved. Reputable publicists/media specialists dont approach the media with quotes or sources unless previously discussed with their clients and last I checked, after that whole joe paterno/twitter fiasco he did a major overhaul of his media team. In fact he hired a major player in the image rehabilitation industry (if I remember correctly the guy was teaching at USC or UCLA as well) right after he came back from Brazil when Demi OD’d. He doesn’t hire two bit flacks for his “team” – he’s a douche…not stupid (well…not businesswise anyway)

      Errrr, congratulations?

@TFanty – I swear to god I just thought the same exact thing.

    • Mia V. says:

He’s so not judging her he had to tell people he isn’t judging. Way to go, DouchAshton.

    • phlyfiremama says:

*slow clap. How incredibly…condescending of him, isn’t it?!

      • gefeylich says:

Yes. But I guess as we’re not judging him [er…wait] for being a mannerless douche who is acting as if “her pregnant body” is something HE HAS TO ENDURE OMFG HOW DARE SHE GET FAT AND UGLY while she’s gestating their child — ah, forget it. He’s an asswipe. End of story.

    • Amy123 says:

I’m baffled why people are saying that the quote is from Ashton. I doubt every single thing People Mag publishes goes through publicists. If it did get an ok from a publicist, who’s to say that Ashton approved it or Mila for that matter.

      • ataylor says:

Because going rogue gets you kicked off the reservation. Any publicist (especially in entertainment) who enjoys being employed consults their client regarding statements to the media — either via direct quotes or via “sources” — and gets approval before proceeding. It’s basic PR101.

  2. Eleonor says:

“What do you want, a medal?”
    My thought.

    • Stef Leppard says:

Excuse me while I go bang my head against a wall.

    • katy says:

Yep, if it’s true. I don’t buy that douchebag isn’t looking at other girls wishing Mila still looked like them – I wouldn’t be surprised if he was getting their numbers, either.

    • I Choose Me says:

Reminds me of a Chris Rock routine. He was talking about dads who brag, “I take care of my kids.”
Chris Rock: “What do you want a cookie? You’re supposed to take care of your kids.”

This smacks of the same kind of douchey mentality.

  3. Maria says:

I think he’s a douche but not for this.

He isn’t being quoted, this is coming from a “source”, now IF he actually said this-I’d completely agree.

    • Sarah says:

People mag is very friendly towards celebs, they dont make stuff up. they print made up stuff invited by publicists though. so this is most likely coming directly from his team, thats what the post here is saying.

      • don't kill me i'm french says:

I’m french and i live in France but i bought once People mag ( an Oscar edition) and the mag always is like that in my opinion between we sell the fairy tale of celebrity life and totally gross ( it’s just my opinion)

    • MW says:

Also, if he said that at all, where does it say he is talking about her body? He could mean mood swings.

  4. Sayrah says:

OMG! It really is amazing his PR thought he should be bragging about this. It makes him look so bad and I’ve been cheering them on. Smh.

    • mia girl says:

It really is so bad I have hard time believing they sanctioned this?!

Instead I’m having a vision of Demi, with her hand covering the phone receiver, speaking in a fictional voice saying “Why yes, this is Ashton Kutcher’s publicist. And no, Ashton’s not judging Mila’s big ol pregnant body at all. Oh, did I say big? I um, meant changing body”

  5. Bubulle says:

“Did you catch that? “He’s doting on her and telling her she looks beautiful. He understands she’s going through changes and he hasn’t judged her for it.”Oh, thank you Ashton for not “judging” your partner’s body as she carries your child. What do you want, a medal? I can’t believe People Mag and Ashton’s publicist thought that was noteworthy enough to include in this article – “he’s such a good guy because she’s fat now and he hasn’t dumped her.”DOUCHEBAG.”

OMG this is truly hurtful for Mila , Ashton and his PR team are beyond stupid

  6. OhDear says:

I think that article says a lot about him, to be honest. Not judging someone’s body when that someone is the mother of your child is just something that you do, not something that deserves a cookie or pat on the head or something.

  7. Lucy says:

What a douche he’ll never change, all this article proves to me is that he’s all smiles to her face but secretly judging her inside

    • Becks says:

He is a douche and it’s only a matter of time until Mila sees his true colors. He’s disgusting, I still don’t understand what she ever saw in him.

  8. eva says:

    yeuch, what a dick.

  9. Sarah says:

    “i dont beat my wife”

  10. Sam says:

Doesn’t say a lot about Milan that she’s with this d-bag either

  11. Jaderu says:

Well isn’t he a kind, thoughtful, understanding…..little piece of sh*t?
I know it’s not quoting him directly but sheesh this is People. PR Team central. What the hell we’re they thinking?!?!

  12. kibbles says:

This will eventually end badly but at least she’s getting a baby and they will be set for life after the break-up. I guess she can be thankful for that when she files for divorce after what will undoubtedly be years of allegations of cheating by Ashton. I think she jumped into this relationship without thinking it through because she’s had feelings for Ashton since That 70’s Show. Ashton may seem like a catch theoretically – he’s handsome, rich, and still famous although I believe his star power will drop after Two and a Half Men ends. But we all know better. It’s only a matter of time before he moves onto a younger and more attractive woman who did not gain weight or stretch marks from pregnancy. He’s always been that kind of guy so it should not surprise any of us when it happens.

    • starfan says:

Great analysis. I agree with you 100% It’s really too bad because while I think they look great together this will end badly. I’m thinking when she hits 39. He seems quite typical. It’s also sad because her career has taken a hit too.

      • lrm says:

Mila chose to work less. She has meg from family guy $$$ big time. Plus 70’s show money. I believe that she’s set even without asston’s cash. Also she has always said in past interviews, well before asston that she will have a family one day and step away from the business. I believe her over the years. She’s not that into it all. She spent like nine years with McCauley culkin playing video games and smoking lol she doesn’t need douche bag Kutcher, but she did need sperm to get pregnant.

    • lunchcoma says:

Why would she need to be set for life by having a baby? Mila’s been working in television and movies since she was in her mid-teens. She has plenty of money in her own right.

  13. jinni says:

How magnanimous of him to look inside himself and somehow still love her in her new form. Such bravery. And they say romance and chivalry is dead. She sure got herself a keeper. *sacrasm*

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I know! I would totally accept judgment from the man who got me pregnant if my body changed. No way would I tie his twanger in a knot for making this comment. I would completely understand!

  14. Dani says:

Honestly in Ashton’s defense, most men are assholes when it comes to the changing pregnancy body. They don’t mean to do it, but it’s also a change for them when they see their once waif thin wife/girlfriend/whathaveyou up 30lbs with a belly. And, the worst offenders are, men who have no relation to the pregnancy yet they still find the need to comment on how ‘huge’ you are. Been there.

I also would take this with a grain of salt because it’s not a direct quote and probably just word reversal to make him sound like a douche.

    • Ag says:

i would take exception to the “most” men. 🙂 i have never met a guy who was like that (although i’m sure that plenty are) and, from my own experience when i was pregnant, i attracted WAY more leery/pervy attention from men than i normally do. might have been the huge boobs. haha

      • Dani says:

        Definitely the boobs! hahaha

My husband was really great about it (and I gained nearly 60lbs yikes) but some people, even women – mostly women, if I think about it – were very judgy.

      • Ag says:

dani – i think that women tend to be way more judgy about pregnancy body changes. or maybe just more vocal about it? no clue. i was constantly asked by women “are you due like any minute now?” when i was 5-6 months along. WTF. mind you own business. or i’ll sit on you. haha

      • Meredith says:

Nobody made snide remarks about my body when I was pregnant. My husband was completely complimentary. No other men said anything about my figure, at all. Some female strangers asked when I was due, but in a conversational way, not like they were side-eying my huge belly.

      • Dani says:

I mean, everyone is different so it was more of a generalization. I don’t think it’s acceptable either way. I was asked a million times if I was about to pop and after the 100th time it got pretty offensive, like I’m pregnant not a balloon.

    • Francesca says:

The men I know, hubby included, are very realistic about what pregnancy and motherhood does to a woman’s body. And find the beauty in it that takes the place of any lost “hotness”.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Me, too. The men I know have either been excited about the changes because they were excited about the baby, or wisely silent on the subject. Lol

  15. Charlotte says:

    Is anyone surprised? Really?

I’ve never understood the hype about Ashton. Eurgh.

  16. CHH says:

When I think I can no longer be surprised by this generations vapid narcissism – this.

  17. JudyK says:

Judge her for being pregnant? What an ignorant concept.

She looks STUNNING. Love that dress, simply love it. So tired of seeing people in skin-tight dresses during pregnancy.

  18. Tiffany27 says:

Well thank GOODNESS he hasn’t called her fat! Who said chivalry was dead?

    • starfan says:

OMG! this comment made cackle out loud. lol

    • Green Is Good says:

      Tiffany; ha ha ha ha!!!!
Asston will in no way be selling his bachelor pad. That space is for his random hook-ups to hang out in until he shows up to party.

Mila is fooling herself if she thinks she’s the one to change him from a whoredog boy to a monogamous man.

  19. Nicolette says:

First of all, she looks beautiful. That said, the notion that he should receive some sort of pat on the back for not ‘judging’ her pregnant body is beyond ridiculous. A real man that truly loves his lady will appreciate how her body is changing, she is after all carrying his child not a basketball. A new life is developing within her, and that should be a source of wonder to the man that loves her.

This strikes a nerve with me on a very personal level. When I was six months pregnant with my daughter, my guy decided out of the blue he wanted out and left after 4 years together. When she was born, his brother brought him to the hospital to see us. While standing in the hall outside my room to speak to the idiot, he looked at my stomach and poked it like I was the Pillsbury Dough Boy and said ‘What’s that?’ I guess he felt that less than 24 hours after giving birth I should have had my figure back. I wound up having nothing further to do with him. He never paid a dime to help support her, and never had any involvement in her life. It’s like he never existed, and that’s fine with me. The man I wound up marrying took on the role of Dad, and she has never expressed an interest in trying to find her biological ‘father’. Today is her birthday, and she is a wonderful beautiful girl who adds so much joy to my life! 🙂

  20. Alexis says:

Oh, the shade of it all!

I’m skeptical of the source, so I’m not too quick to accuse Ashton of being a d!ck. On the other hand, I feel like 95% of people in Hollywood are shallow, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he really felt this way. It says a lot about Mila if she’s with someone like that, too. I know she tries to portray herself as a laid-back, cool chick but she might be just as vapid as the company she keeps.

  21. Bridget says:

Well congratulations buddy. It must be hard not judging her disgusting pregnant body or running off to the nearest hot tub

He leeched all the pretty out of that woman.

  22. Patricia says:

All that needs to be said about that “not judging” comment has been said above!

I’ll add this: she looks amazing. I’m 9 mos pregnant now with my first baby and I am really regretting not being more active and staying in shape. My arms, legs and face are huge and I’ve lost muscle tone.
Next pregnancy I’ll take a cue from Mila and stay more active. Her arms and legs look so healthy and strong. She’s such a gorgeous woman.

    • Renee says:

I’ve never had kids but I think that if this is your first one you should just enjoy yourself and the pregnancy. As you yourself have stated, you can have a “fit” pregnancy the next time around!

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Good luck with your baby, Patricia. I agree with Renee. Live and learn, but for now, enjoy.

  23. Ag says:

an all-around winner. bravo, mila, for landing this d*ck.

  24. decorative item says:

Wow! What a bloody humanitarian he is!
Next we will be hearing about how he even allows her in the house while on her period.
Selfless is probably the word we’re all looking for here.

  25. wonderwoman21 says:

Glad she’s working hard to keep the fatz away while she’s warehousing a baby; she should just grateful her man hasn’t left her.

ugh such a stupid article by People magazine.

  26. don't kill me i'm french says:

But it’s People mag a mix between the fairy tale and gross…

  27. DavidBowie says:

I loathe him. I loathe her now that she’s with him.

    • kri says:

I am still reeling from the fact that she got with him in the first place. And now this. Thanks for not being repulsed by the woman who is busy CREATING HUMAN LIFE while you wear stupid outfits and say dumb shit, you useless box of hair.

  28. Heat says:

I chalk this up to either poor writing, or poorer spin on what the PR people released.
The article also talks about how much Mila is working out, etc. So, if they didn’t mention that he’s cool with her pregnancy body, we’d be lynching him for pushing her to work out and look good.
    I call non-item, here…and i also kinda like them as a couple.
    (ducks for cover)

    • Kiddo says:

I like her, and if they are happy, good.

    • Belle says:

+1, I’m shocked at how many people are attacking Ashton for an oddly worded comment from a ‘source’ that seemed to be trying to say he is happy, understanding and perfectly ok with body changes that come with pregnancy.

First of all, just because People is known to be ‘celeb friendly’ doesn’t mean the quotes came from Ashton’s people OR that they were in fact, approved by them.

Second, there was nothing actually wrong with what the ‘source’ said, other than some strange wording which may have been the result of how a question was posed. No one has any clue what the context of these quotes was. I can totally picture a guy being asked about the changing pregnancy body, and being, like…. ‘No judgement here… I’m glad I don’t have to go through all of that!’.

Seriously, most people on this site don’t like Ashton, but used to like Mila. Some are bugged that one of the women they used to like and admire fell for a guy they don’t like. Oh, the horror.

As reasons to be pissed off and bash someone go, this one seems like quite a stretch. JMO, of course.

FWIW, in the photos I’ve seen of them together, they do look happy and in love, so congrats to them.

Mila looks beautiful in these pics.

      • Bridget says:

It’s not like it’s out of the blue for Ashton Kutcher to say stupid stuff without thinking, though. And really, what kind of question could reasonably elicit that response? He’s been in the business a long time, he knows how magazine interviews and quotes work. The piece is obviously intended to make him look good after the disaster with Demi (isn’t his contract up after this coming year with 2.5 men?) and People really is the most celebrity sanctioned of the magazines.

      • Illyra says:

        +10

  29. Kiddo says:

Well ain’t that mighty big of ‘im. What?

  30. lucy2 says:

Shame on People mag for printing that – whether it’s right from him or some made up source, People printing that statement makes it seem like it’s OK and normal to criticize your wife/girlfriend’s body when pregnant, and Ashton is some kind of gallant hero because he hasn’t.
Given that it’s People (aka publicist’s mouthpiece), the lack of comment on it from him, and his history of douchedom, I’m willing to believe it’s right from his camp.

  31. AryaMartell says:

*Eye roll* Here’s your medal Ashton. Now f**k off. What does Mila see in him? I’m pretty sure I’d be banging my head into a table within 5 minutes of my first date with him and run away from the date within 20. He’s that person you knew in high school who tried so hard to sound so smart but was actually an idiot.

  32. Lisa says:

    Well, congratulations.

  33. Helvetica says:

“He’s doting on her and telling her she looks beautiful. He understands she’s going through changes and he hasn’t judged her for it.”

The entire comment is body shaming at its finest.

Why WOULD a man judge his partner for normal pregnancy changes? The fact that he isn’t (which is what he’s supposed to do–not judge her) is being commended? Really? Ridiculous.

  34. Penelope says:

In fairness to the douche, this is also a case of very poorly chosen words on the part of his PR guy and/or People and/or the mysterious “source.” Who knows if AK even approved the sentence as written? I think I’d be more disgusted if this came straight from the horse’s mouth, so to speak.

Of course, it *is* completely possible that he’s just a total jerk.

  35. The Original Mia says:

WTF is this piece of PR drivel? Is he desperate for attention? Or a cookie? I’m glad he’s being so great to Mila. Makes me wonder how he was with Demi, January Jones, Brittnay Murphy and any of the other women he’s dated. Was he a body shamer?

  36. bettyrose says:

The story should read “stunning Mila doesn’t judge Ashton for being a low class morom.”

    • bettyrose says:

Um, I mean, “moron.” Guess I shouldn’t be calling anyone out on their intelligence, or at least their texting skill.

  37. poppy says:

    he’s a turd.
he bangs her while she is a minor (?)
marries someone else, cheats. gets caught (on their anniversary with some randoms in a hot tub, no less).
he’s having his publicist spew/release all of these comments in hopes of getting some positive PR.

not only does he have a filthy dong, he is incredibly stupid.
this guy cares about 2 things, and 2 things only. AK and money.

yeah, he is totally going to be faithful to her.
    🙄

  38. feebee says:

    I don’t understand.

I mean WTF sort of statement is that? He hasn’t judged her for it? Guess what? Nobody gets to. Every body and every pregnancy is different and that’s before taking in account the emotional and mental differences of every pregnant woman.

Within reason (because I have a sense of humor) but generally any guy who makes cracks about how fat their partner looks pregnant (or anything in that realm) can take a really big seat, thanks. Actually on second thoughts, take the little seat, in the corner and turn around.

He may or may not have okayed this statement to be put out but I agree with those above who think the douche is just dormant, not extinct in this one.

  39. NN says:

What she sees in him? $$$$$$$$$$ he’s rich!

  40. Kelly says:

I still don’t know why people consider Ashton to be such a douche? Plus, she’s with him and is having his baby so guess she doesn’t mind him. Also, that quote was from a “source” so who knows if it is true or not.

  41. Altariel says:

I don’t think that statement has anything to do with him.

I believe he was a douche once upon a time. But I think he’s grown up A LOT. He gave a remarkable acceptance speech once, imploring young folks to never stop working hard. And it wasn’t lip service…he gave his own life experience before becoming famous, how when one door closed he would find a new one to open, like he never stopped working and never gave up. It was I
impressive and not like anything you’d expect that he had come from.

    My two-bits !

    • ataylor says:

Dont be fooled. That acceptance speech was prewritten by his publicist. The award wasnt a surprise win. They know about it ahead of time. The speech also incorporated some quites directly from an interview Steve Jobs gave in the 80s — convenient since he was promotings JOBS at the time and was channeling Steve for some time in almost every public appearance. It’s a major part of an entertainment publicists job. So is making sure their clients get placed in any “best of” or “sexiest of” lists. None of this is organic. Have you ever watched him being interviewed by non-entertainment media on the fly? The dude is ALL OVER THE PLACE.

  42. Shantal says:

“He understands she’s going through changes and he hasn’t judged her for it.”

That reminds me of Chris Rock’s standup routine where he talks about douchebags wanting praise for things they’re supposed to do.

  43. jonB says:

Finally she brushed her hair !

  44. ann says:

At least she looks like a real pregnant woman. I bet if she sits down her stomach wont cave in.

  45. ataylor says:

He….is a douche. She…is not far behind personality wise. Especially nowadays. I guess having your one big blockbuster movie getting so panned and moved to the film wasteland of Feb 2015 doesnt help your mood. And yes, Ashton did put his Lake Hollywood home up for sale. Finding a buyer is another issue, especially when it’s the most expensive house on the block, surrounded by homes that cost 8 to 9 million LESS than the one you own.

on a side note, I just want to thank everyone at Celebitchy for not posting the almost daily…YES DAILY…pre-arranged pap photos of them like some other sites do. My eyes need a break from the constant eyerolling. For a couple so very private and seeking to surround themselves in privacy they sure as hell dont mind documenting this pregnancy on an almost daily basis. Im surprised we havent had a glimpse of her damn sonogram yet.

  46. DSC says:

So why is he an asshole? He was married to Demi who strikes me as being less than stable!!!

Thank you. I don’t think Ashton is perfect by any means, but Demi is a nutcase.

Of course she will have a natural birth at home because that’s what Demi did with Rumor she suffered and birthed at home. Mila has to prove she’s tough just like Demi and she will have to deal with whatever bull shit Ashton does on the side. They may never marry.

She looks cute and comfortable in this dress. And why would he judge her, she’s pregnant not fat.

  49. magpie says:

Mila looks amazing. Those arms…urgh. She looks like those lucky ones just taking weight in the middle.

Sure Ashton isn’t judging her, which is a change since he (aparently) body shamed Britney Murphy and Demi.

These magazine articles are so damaging for female celebs because now the paps are gonna call her fat just to get a reaction out of her. Asstain needs to stop with the PR machine & if possible not throw his fiancé under the bus next time.

So what does he want? cookie or a prize? He isn’t suppose to be judging her,
