Lea Michele has a boyfriend. I didn’t know that. It seems like she didn’t want anyone to know and the whole thing has been very hush-hush. When Lea filmed her (terrible) new music video back in April, she met Matthew Paetz, who was a dancer/extra on the video shoot. They started dating quietly. Sources close to the couple tell us … Matthew has been a hired gun for Cowboys4Angels under the alias, Christian. Cowboys4Angels — which offers male “companionship” to lonely women — is featured on Showtime’s, “Gigolos.”
According to the website … Matthew is a certified life coach, dating expert and massage therapist … charging $350 for one hour and up to $6,000 for a weekend. For $17,500 you can get a whole week. Matthew’s profile is now hidden on the site.
We’re told Lea and Matthew met on the set of her music video, “On My Way.”
Sources tell us … Matthew most recently took on a client for a weekend during the Stagecoach music festival in April. He’s gone on hiatus since he started dating Lea.
Reps for both Lea and Cowboys4Angels had no comment.
CB thinks it’s possible that Paetz might have been catfished or that his photo is just on the site or something weird like that. I don’t know. I tend to believe that many young actor/dancer types have this kind of past, both male and female. I think we would be shocked at how many actors and actresses have worked as escorts in their early days. And if this guy has gone “on hiatus” since meeting Lea, maybe he’s trying to “go legit.” It happens.

I think you would be surprised how many reality and actors/actresses are escorts. From what I understand, it’s mostly overseas (think Sultans and oil heirs paying actresses hundred of thousands, if not millions).

That aside, it’s kind of a non-story, no? Except I suppose being a high profile entertainer you need to be a little more circumspect. But even if he was a current gigolo (why do the guys get the ‘cutesy’ names for sh-t like this?) even gigolos are allowed to have an actual girlfriend. I’m sure many female escorts have boyfriends also and just manage the business v personal.
Just a note on Lea’s singing career. I hate to pigeon hole people but sometimes singers have a pop/commercial sound to their voices or they have a Broadway sound to their voices. And not everyone can cross over.
