Here are some assorted photos from last night’s Maxim 100 event. I honestly looked through the photo set and I only recognized a handful of names. Maybe if I was straight dude, these names would mean something to me? Perhaps. So, I’m just including pics of Candice Swanepoel in leather, Dylan Penn (she’s such an interesting blend of her parents), Joanna Krupa (she of the smelly vadge) and… that’s about it.
Candice actually got the #1 position on this year’s Maxim 100. While I think Candice is beautiful and her waist is… crazy… I never really know what to think about these lists or who makes “#1” on the lists. Is Candice demonstrably hotter and sexier than all of the other women? Personally, I like a woman who has some personality. Candice looks like a beautiful doll in these photos, sort of blank-eyed and too-perfect. More Doutzen Kroes, please!
Anyway, Candice is the type of model who talks about how she “makes an effort” to put on weight before runway shows. Yes, that type of model. She tries to demystify her “sexiness” but… I don’t know. She’s kind of annoying, right?
Candice Swanepoel claims she doesn’t ”feel that sexy” at home. The Victoria’s Secret model, who recently topped Maxim magazine’s Hot 100 list, insists she rarely thinks about her appearance when she’s not working.
The 25-year-old beauty told E! News: ”I don’t see myself as that girl because it’s my job to be that sexy woman, it’s not my whole life.”
She added: ”I’m not that at home, when I’m picking up my dogs’ poopies I don’t feel that sexy.”
The South African model also admits she was shocked to be named the sexiest woman in the world by the magazine ahead of other contenders for the title, including Scarlett Johansson, Katy Perry, Irina Shayk and Jennifer Lawrence.
She said: ”It feels amazing. I don’t know how that happened, maybe my mom had something to do with that, voting non-stop. I expected an actress…”
Candice previously credited sunscreen and squats for helping her to maintain her good looks.
She added: ”When I’m on holiday, I try to take a break from make-up. If we have a night out, or go and see a band or something, I’ll do some blush and mascara – but I try to keep it really minimal.”
When you have a face like that, you don’t have to wear makeup. Makeup distracts from her face. But yeah, “being sexy” isn’t her whole life. Sure. And I’m sure she even farts (!) and has the occasional eye booger. How charming. (I know I sound bitter. I don’t know why but Candice just annoys me, so full disclosure or something.)

Candice does seem dull.
Doutzen might show some personality in interviews, and I really like her, but on the runway she’s a total snoozefest.

When my daughter was 17 she said she wanted to open up a chain of gas stations/stripper joints and call them “Ass ‘n’ Gas”. I didn’t know whether to give her a lecture or high five her.
Hey man, she’s from South Africa. I have spent half my life in Florida, another location where nature never intended white people to be. I have sun spots on the bridge of my nose and going down my cheeks, and I think I got my first forehead line at 25. I worked in an office and never layed out to tan. It happens if you live in a sunny place and you’re not really really careful.
i get the sunscreenthing; i live in southern Arizona and it can take a toll on you. My friend, who is very fair (blonde, blue eyes), is only 27 and her skin is wrecked from sun exposure. Hats or umbrellas + sunscreen are needed here.
I just want to say that when I saw that thumbnail of Candice in the leather outfit I thought it was a picture of Britney circa 2000 during her “Oops I did it again” era. Seriously, Candice is gorgeous but that outfit seems… dated and too “leather barbie”. Maybe if she had only worn one leather piece and the another in a different fabric…? Also, I don’t know, but for some reason belly tops in women over 20 seem slightly… infantilizing and doll-like to me.

If you have a nice stomach and you want to wear a crop top, then wear it. If anything it is more appropriate on a women then a teenager. And most of the super young ones I see wearing them look awful and flabby. I find it halarious when grown women think they can decide what is appropriate for another grown women. Just coz you can’t rock it does not mean others can’t either.
I think I missed the part where Blackwood said she herself couldn’t rock it. Nice attempt though at trying to insult someone for having a different opinion,
I’d take a Candice interview over a Kerr interview any day.
True. She seems boring and charisma free, but at least she’s not as irritating or vapid as Kerr.

I love models, I do, but I don’t understand how Candice has ended up where she is in terms of popularity. Even with just sticking to women who have worked for VS, I don’t think she’s the best model of the bunch. Doutzen is amazing, and even someone like Magdalena Frackowiak seems far more interesting aesthetically. I don’t know. I just don’t get it. She has pretty eyes but nothing about her says “special” or “talented” to me.
I think she is very pretty with right make up.but doll like,but without make up a little washed off so i prefer doll like over washed off.
But she is a good VS model not like heidi or adriana but miranda etc she is good.

I seriously think this is that cross promotional type thing, you know like Douche Levine getting sexiest man alive, which coincided with that tragic Kmart clothing line, which also seemed about the time those lame proactiv ads he did went into high rotation.
