I honestly don’t know how feel about Rob Kardashian these days. Okay, I feel badly for him. That much is true. It’s terrible that everyone picks on him for his weight, and the paparazzi are waiting to take “glum” photos of him as he leaves the gym. His trainer, Gunnar Peterson, keeps talking to the press about Rob’s weight loss plans. There are rumors that Kris Jenner has been trying to land a Biggest Loser spot for Rob. I do realize that he’s either being used as a Kardashian storyline pawn, or he’s playing along. I don’t think his weight gain is something he did on purpose for the family show, but maybe he’s a willing part of the drama.
We heard a few weeks ago that Rob was possibly addicted to pain killers and Sizzurp. He has previously denied a rumored rehab visit. TMZ has some exclusive new photos of Rob at some drug bender of a party. He’s sitting next to a Sizzurp cup that is very clearly labelled as such. He’s smoking pot. His family is very concerned and wants him in rehab:

You can see Rob holding a double cup … the container of choice for Sizzurp. The cup on the table actually has the words, “Codeine Boys” emblazoned on it. He’s also seen smoking weed.
We’re told the Kardashians have been calling rehab facilities, but Rob refuses to go. They feel desperate because they don’t know what to do and hope pictures like these may change Rob’s mind.
The Kardashians have stepped up before … attempting an intervention for Lamar Odom’s drug problem.

Radar has another story about “the sock mogul.” A source says he’s avoiding his family and “has no reason to talk to Kim.” He’s also been ignoring Khloe’s phone calls and texts and “really isn’t in a good place.” Is he really ignoring Khloe? He’s overseeing the construction on her home, and he responds when she tweets at him. Maybe he wants to make it look like he isn’t ignoring his family. I truly can’t blame Rob if he’s ignoring Kim. She’s terribly cruel to him.

A crazy family do an intervention??? I don’t condone doing drugs but it’s totally understandable being he is a member of the family that he is. He totally needs to get far away from this sick family. Hopefully he has some sane friends who can do an intervention on him but not his family!!! Besides, Mommy would only want to help him if it makes money for her!
Yeah I see PMK wanting cameras to follow Rob through this ordeal and he’s probably not having it. Who in his family is sane enough and caring enough to give a damn about Rob? Which one???? He is close to Khloe but do you guys think Khloe might be sippin that sizzurp and smoking weed with Montana ? You think she just sits and watches? I don’t know….maybe she is clean, who knows. I wonder if Rob blames Khloe for his addictions? Maybe living with Lamar was really bad for Rob. Maybe Rob had addiction problems before Lamar even came along? Who really knows the truth?

It’s not up to his family to get him help. He needs to do that himself. And without it being this season’s main storyline on the kartrashian show.

These people can buy ANYONE, the person who snapped them would blackmail for a fortune before leaking them–what are we idiots! I saw his pics a few weeks back and couldn’t be bothered but wanted to write that he reminds me of Eminem when he was taking pills. Got very fat as well.
I just noticed he has his mom tattooed on his arm. Why is it that the children most scorned are the ones who are most devoted? It’s sad.

Thanks Lassie. I’ve been in nursing for years, and have seen it all. I guarantee that the family that seems the most attentive, wails the loudest and throws themselves on the floor at a relatives death, comes from an extremely dysfunctional family. It’s heartbreaking because they never get the closure they crave.
That’s for sure. I work with someone just like that. She doesn’t go to her parent’s place for Christmas and Thanksgiving, or ever have them over. She fights with her sisters all the time and takes it out on us at work too. Her father has been sick for a few years and she got a call at work that he was in the hospital dying and to come right down. She went absolutely insanely hysterical, shrieking and screaming. That was over a year ago and the man is still with the world. Very dysfunctional family, one of her sisters is also her first cousin, the old man messed around with his sister in law while his wife was giving birth. Given how she acts I wonder if he messed around with more than his sil.
This has been my observation as well, just from observing people I know. It’s not only dysfunction, but also those who choose not to be very involved with their family members until the end. Those who have been involved and have actually helped usually have more peace and a clear conscience at the end.

I honestly believe Kris Jenner is a genuinely bad creature. She is responsible for ruining the lives of her children, and if I was Rob, who must know deep down inside what kind of mother(?) he really has, I would get myself a year-long stay in rehab and a protection order from them all. If he needs money, he could strike his own deals and let the tell-alls begin! He has got to get himself help, though and only he can do that.
To me, this seems like Pimp Mama’s attempt to get him back under her control. They did the same thing with Lamar Odom. The family “stepping up” makes me laugh. These self-absorbed people don’t step up for anyone unless it’s to get attention or rake in more money.

Demon Mother and Khloe both have real problems at least with alcohol. I’ve suspected Khloe had no problem with Lamar’s drug use and most likely shared it until his cheating became too obvious. It was the publicity about the cheating that threw them into “intervention” mode. With Rob, I imagine if he were skinny they wouldn’t be concerned about any drug use.
“Stepping up”? I can see this family, quite literally, stepping *on* each other with their tasteless, ventilation-cutting high heels for ratings.

I’m not doubting he needs help, but I think PMK is selling these pictures and stories to tabloids for profit/attention rather than going to these people (Lamar, Rob, Bruce) and handling these issues privately. I really don’t think she gives a F about their well-being. Her own son. That’s low, no wonder he’s staying away. I really do feel bad for him.
It seems to me that if Rob were heavy into the drug scene, he’d lose weight, instead of gaining. I don’t believe Lamar ever had the problem they claimed, and I don’t believe this either. Who knows if the photo they have is real? Photoshop experts like the K Klan would be able to fix those right up.
Smoking pot and drinking wine at night made me sit on my butt, and I gained 20 pounds. I quit! 🙂 back to working out instead for the natural high.
Weight loss is more typical, but both Philip Seymour Hoffman and the Toronto mayor were big guys who abused drugs. It’s sad in a way, because drastic weight loss is often one of the signs that loved ones pick up on.
I wonder if Rob was on long term Adderall for ADD/ADHD, and recently went off it.

Depends what you’re taking. Eminem, at the height of his addiction (who this guy reminds me of) was really fat. He just slept and ate, and took pills (painkillers and sleeping pills).
Certain prescription drugs can make weight gain very easy and weight loss very difficult. For example, lithium treatment or bipolar seems to interfere with carbohydrate metabolism, among other things. So the weight can creep up fast but not drop the way it should if you just eat less and weigh more. Thyroid problems can also make weight loss difficult even for the most active and disciplined dieter. So there can be plenty of reasons for the weight gain besides munchies from pot. He also is getting older and like many men, keeps eating the way he could when he was more active and still growing. But he has a trainer, he should do all right if Demon Mother stays away from him. I can’t imagine that a weight loss reality show would be good for him- he needs to shut down those cameras entirely. He used to be athletic so that would be his norm.
I agree with you, I think they want sympathy and attention. Didn’t believe the Lamar stories either, the drug abuse happened out the blue and all of sudden we hear nothing. Where is he by the way?

He was papped just yesterday or maybe 2 years ago, I remember seeing a thumbnail on the daily fail. We hear nothing cause he’s not on the show anymore and contrary to what the Kardashians (plus Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Jennifer Garner and more) would have you think, you CAN be a celeb and not get papped every day, even if you are in LA. When was the last time you heard about Kim’s ex-husband?

I find the Lamar stories a bit unbelievable as well. He was supposedly in such a bad place, but in recent pics he looks fine and no more headlines about his alleged dire problems.
The stories about the men may be deflection for the women’s real issues and behavior.

I feel badly for him. I don’t think there’s a real safe place to fall in his family. I don’t know if there was a tipping point for his problems or maybe it has been a long time coming. I am sympathetic.
I just don’t know with this guy. I’ve always got the feeling he tried to stay as low-profile as possible. I mean, at least he hasn’t intentionally offended a whole community at a baby’s birthday just to stay on the press.

I caught that too. PMK is an asshole, and this was probably her way of punishing him for not doing what she thought is best for her “brand.”
If I were Rob I would avoid PMK and Kim at all costs and try to focus on my relationship with the other two (who are unfortunately enmeshed with PMK).
What sucks is that Bruce is probably also extremely critical of Rob’s weight. I remember him telling Khloe she was fat and that he knew she knew it too because (at that moment) she was wearing all black. Khloe couldn’t have been more than ten pounds heavier with a flat stomach, no rolls or anything. It’s obviously just her body type. Anyway, Rob is probably getting it from all sides.
There was a study done and others being critical of your weight can actually cause you to gain weight.
I agree but he’s not a child, he needs to cut them all lose and leave them in the dust. He’s not a teenager, these people are not healthy for him, time to move on.

You know what’s sick about this… his family probably sold the photos to TMZ. Kris is *tight* with TMZ, so is Kim — with Harvey’s main guy Mike, the chubby guy on TMZ TV all the time. They are always given a heads up about what goes up on that site.
It looks like Rob knew he was being photographed and he was okay with. Must of been someone he trusts taking the picture. Wouldn’t be ONE BIT surprised, if it was his only family that leaked the pictures.
