Cameron Diaz in a Stella McCartney onesie for LA premiere: awful or not bad?

Cameron Diaz

Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel stepped out for the premiere of S*x Tape in LA last night. Jason has a look on his face that says, “What did I get myself into with this gig?” This movie will probably do decent business but will be another forgettable raunchy comedy. Jason looks kinda studly here. Much healthier than he did while shooting last fall. He has some demons, that one. I think he’d actually be great in dramatic roles, but he keeps going for comedies.

Cameron is wearing a dark blue Stella McCartney jumpsuit with gold flecks. This outfit isn’t unflattering like a lot of Stella pieces, but it’s an odd choice for premiere. Maybe it would have been better for a photocall (or as pajamas) but not for a full-on red carpet experience. I do appreciate that Cami’s not wearing yet another cocktail dress. Cam went with Prada sandals and simple gold Cartier and Kimberly McDonald jewelry. The orange lipstick is an unexpected nice touch, and I like it. Cameron looks too unformal here, but she still looks good.

Rob Lowe bought his wife, Sheryl Berkoff, and their college-aged son, John, to the premiere.

    I actually like the jumpsuit
    *dodges tomatoes*

That being said, this movie looks SO terrible. GOOD GOD

It f*cking insults my intelligence that the movie studios trot out this perpetual garbage and market it to women my age.

    • Kiddo says:

I like the jumpsuit on Cameron, not sure how many other people could pull it off.
      The movie, pffft, paycheck.

      • diva says:

I don’t hate the jumpsuit. I wouldn’t watch this movie for free. It looks like crap.

      • Josephine says:

I agree – it’s not bad on Cameron, but I doubt anyone but her and Charlize Theron could pull it off. I don’t get why Stella McCartney is a thing – she’s an awful designer.

    • don't kill me i'm french says:

      +1145 on all

    • Esti says:

I SHOULD hate it, but I don’t. I think on Stella herself or most other people I would, but Cam is making it work.

    • Mmhmm says:

Is it bad that I think the movie looks hilarious? I hate these raunchy comedies, but this made me laugh just because I know so many people who don’t know how to work the cloud and will eventually have something like this happen to them. Heck I’ve even accidentaly sent a few pics to some of my friends lol.

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

        GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!

I won’t judge you as long as you don’t judge me for not knowing how to work the cloud, deal?

    • mimf says:

I sort of like the jumpsuit too. *throws vodka at kitten*

So basically you’re saying you’ll wait for this to come out on Netflix. *dodges tomatoes*

    • starrywonder says:

      LMAO about the movie comment!

    • Kiddo says:

But it’s a cultural study of the societal repercussions of technology in a age that has no distinguishable line or boundaries for privacy. It’s DEEP. That, or maybe just a vehicle for gratuitous nude scenes, followed by badly executed slapstick nonsense, it’s really hard to tell.
      : >D

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

…. but does anyone actually wanna see either of these two naked?

If you’re gonna make a terrible-movie-with-naked-people, at least make sure it features Garret Hedlund shirtless for the whole miserable thing.

Oh yeah, they already made that movie–it’s called The Road and it’s a movie I’ll probably watch 30 more times because you know,
        Garrett Hedlund.
        SHIRTLESS.

      • Kiddo says:

Someone must want to see these two naked, if not only the director.

*Makes notation of shirtless movie, puts into cue.

      • mimf says:

        Lmao Kiddo.

And look at the OG K-I-Double-T (yes I just did that) with her new avie and all this BOLD. 😀

      • Kiddo says:

Ah, you have entered into the bold police squad now that you have conquered your addiction. Well done. Or dare I say, * WELL DONE.

        * use sparingly.

      • mimf says:

        🚔

      • TheOriginalKitten says:

I should have said ON The Road
        (is that bold-abuse?)

Now normally I would suggest watching the movie on mute (because who needs stupid dialogue interfering with Shirtless Hedlund?) but I cannot recommend in this case as Garrett’s voice is one of the sexiest things about him.

However, DO keep the remote handy to fast-forward through any non-Garrett parts of the film. Don’t let McLip-Bitey, The Other Dude No One Cares About, and What’s-Her-Face distract you from The Shirtless Splendor.

I like the jumpsuit and I think she looks great. I just don’t like that lipstick. I know coral is the hot color and I’m experimenting with it too, but blondes like us need to stick with red, not orange-based coral. I’m not a makeup artist but that’s what I’ve found. I found a great coral tinted lip “treatment” that I LOVE LOVE LOVE (along with the other treatments in this particular line). But its more red based.

    • Lahdidahbaby says:

Agree, O’Kitt – I love the jumpsuit, and ordinarily I don’t like jumpsuits because they can look dumpy and dowdy. I think Cameron carries it off well because of her lanky body, and in fact I think she looks better in it than in any of her other recent wardrobe choices. What shocks me is that Stella designed it. I think no one makes more unflattering things than she does, and I can’t actually remember having liked one of her designs before.

  2. Alexi says:

    Rob lowe bought his wife?!

The jumpsuit is too matronly for my taste

    • Sabrine says:

The style of the jumpsuit is cute and she’d look good in a sack, but the print is old fashioned and not that great.

  3. HappyMom says:

I usually hate Stella McCartney’s designs (and find her personally insufferable) but I think this is really cute.

  4. AlmondJoy says:

I would have liked the jumpsuit in a brighter color. I also think it looks a little too big for her. There’s something sloppy about the fit.

  5. Jaderu says:

It reminds me of Lucille Ball (the jumpsuit)
    I think it’s cute.

  6. Arock says:

I really like the jumpsuit. The movie is just a waste of time, she’s made an entire career of vapid.
Can we get a side by side of her and madonnas faces? Holy botoxed cutlets.

  7. Kristen says:

I like the jumpsuit. Rob Lowe has a lady-ass. Not attractive.

    • Kiddo says:

I don’t know why, but I can’t stop laughing at ‘lady ass’. That really tickled me.

    • chaine says:

i know what u mean. it’s the cut of the slacks. it reminds me of the time on “The Office” where Michael Scott buys and wears a woman’s suit by accident.

  8. TWINK says:

    That lipstick doesn’t suit her.

  9. Hissyfit says:

The jumpsuit is cute but not with that shoes. And also, her hair and lipstick is awful!

  10. erindipity says:

Jason Segel was in at least one drama a couple of years ago – it’s called Jeff Who Lives At Home, I think. And yes, he was good in it. I’d like to see him try more things like that.

  11. Penelope says:

Awful, just like 99% of Stella McCartney’s worthless, tasteless crap. She is a famous “designer” because of who her father is. If she has any actual talent she keeps it well hidden.

  12. mystified says:

Don’t know why this bugs me so much, but in that last picture Rob Lowe’s jacket is too short. I guess it’s because I would expect him to wear a suit well and it doesn’t seem as if he would have a hard time finding a suit that fits. I know with all that’s going on in the world this is a trivial point.

  13. Mrs McCubbins says:

I really like the jumpsuit. She looks great. Movie looks like crap.

  14. stacey says:

Why does Stella McCartney design the ugliest creations for her friends to wear? Why do they wear her stuff? It’s so painfully ugly. That is all

  15. It’s okay. Not great, not terrible. I think she needs to back off the fillers a bit. She’s getting a bit of that Joker look about the face…

  16. lucy2 says:

I don’t hate it, but I wouldn’t have chosen it myself. I wonder how many of Stella’s celeb friends actually like her fashions, or if they just feel obligated. Or get kickbacks for promoting it or something.
I saw a brief review of this movie a while back, that ripped the technology premise of what happens to shreds. If you’re going to hinge a whole screenplay on an idea like that, make sure it actually makes sense.

  17. Amanda says:

To me, onesies and rompers always look like pyjamas.

  18. A Fan says:

Really nice on her. Gives the illusion of a waist (which she doesn’t have) and plays up her great legs. Looks comfy and relaxed.

    [*Good choice, Cameron.*]

  19. poppy says:

i hate the poster. he gets to wear clothes while she doesn’t.
he’s funny enough for pants but she isn’t (she isn’t funny enough but that’s not the point)?
even though i have zero respect for her and think she is fairly talentless, the poster, smh.
guessing from the poster this film was phoned in on every level.

  20. vanna says:

what the hell is going on with Rob’s feet? damn those lifts…

  21. serena says:

Rob’s wife face is so frozen up it’s almost scary. Too much botox or plastic surgery.

  22. Petunia says:

I think she looks great. I love everything except the hair. I like messy hairdos but hers looks a bit too messy.

  23. Marianne says:

    I like the jumpsuit too.
