Here are some new photos of Kristen Stewart at LAX yesterday. These are the first photos we’ve had of her since she debuted her new haircut at the Paris Fashion Week Chanel show several weeks ago. As I said back then, I like the haircut. But her hair was definitely styled better in Paris. These LAX pics… well, I’ll give her a break. She was probably coming off of a long flight and that’s why she looks so unwashed and why her hair looks sort of gross. She’s trying to turn away from the paparazzo too, which just gives us a better look at the haircut – it’s sort of like Mick Jagger’s hair circa 1973. Shaggy, rock n’ roll, but with a Totally ‘90s dye job. I get that Kristen is simplifying her look, but that American Ultra movie is done so why not get rid of the Manic Panic dye job?
Anyway, I don’t have much to say about Kristen these days. It seems like she’s trying to go back to her indie roots, do smaller films and ensemble pieces. She’s going to be at TIFF in September (probably!) to promote Still Alice, that film she did with Julianne Moore and Alec Baldwin (they play her parents). I think she may have successfully rebooted her career after Mini Cooper-gate. Oh, and I still would like to know if she’s dating Alicia Cargile.
PS… Just think, Kristen totally could have starred in Fifty Shades of Grey. She was one of the inspirations, after all.

I’m not liking the ‘come out’ comments I’m seeing on here. Do we have to shoehorn her into a sexuality and turn her into an advocate? Maybe she doesn’t want to be asked about her sexuality every. Single. interview and that’s why she hasn’t come out…or maybe she’s just dating a girl because she wants to. Big freaking whoop.

I like the cut, needs maybe a tad more shaping, but in general, I find it better than the long, stringy look.
I love the haircut. She needs to brush it though. Just had my hair chopped off and went back to my David Bowie cut from the 70’s. Loving it especially since menopause my hair is now naturally curly. LOL.
I think she doesn’t know how to do hair or make up without professional help. Not all women are interested in or good at grooming.
Oh come on, I know plenty of women and they all clean their hair. I wear no make-up, have zero style or interest in it and I always do my hair before going out of the house. Most woman also do makeup. She is capable of cleaning her hair and combing it. And what is going on with her bald spots, she’s just a kid, her hair must be fried.
I like the cut. My hair looks flat and greasy when I fly, and for some reason my skin looks greasy and pale, too, so I’m not throwing stones today.
Yeah, flying does make you feel disgusting, doesn’t it? I think that she has the ability to create that look without flying though, lol.

I don’t get the trying too hard thing anymore (although I kind of did in the past). …girl is wearing basic clothing and not dressed like Cara D & the last few times I’ve read interviews she’s done she seems to have cut down on the cussing. In fact she seems to fly under the radar nowadays. She was pretty young when she did the whole Twilight thing, like teenager and early 20s. Probably just matured, like most of us do

I don’t see any try hard here at all. I know lots of other actresses who have the cucumber skin spray, Shiseido de-puffing eye pads and a hair crew with them on flights. They won’t get off the plane until they are pap-ready and fully “on”. To me, *that’s* try hard.
I think Kristen is actually the complete polar opposite of try hard. I think she spent well over a year being hounded by paparazzi & judged by all the Sparkles fans (granted, for a really stupid affair on her part). Now, I think she genuinely just doesn’t GAF. And why would anyone care what she looks like in her personal life, not when she’s in film costume for a role?

Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but I agree with bns that she tries way too hard to look like she’s this uninterested, above it all, edgy, tough person who doesn’t have two fs to give, and publicity is such a bore, and fans are so exhausting, and it’s just not who she is. She hides behind it.
She’s tries way too hard to seem like she has no shits to give. Her world-weary, old-soul thing is irritating, she’s inexperienced and not the urban sophisticate she hopes to be. She’s young and successful, she should enjoy her life and stop trying to impress people with how different she thinks she is as it comes off as condescending and immature and truly does her no favors.

Most cuts like that require a degree of daily work to look good- blow drying, product, etc. as one stylist once told me-” if you don’t want to do the work, don’t get the cut”. That being said, it’s a puzzle why she’d choose a cut like that. Getting the color evened out would improve it too.
This is true. I had this cut two years ago, and a similar dye job, but not red, blonde. I am similarly lazy about styling. You CAN just wash and go with it, but then it looks like this–dirty and f-awful. I grew it the hell out and didn’t dye it for two years and it looks amazing now. Her hair will look rad when it grows out.
I’m giving her a break because I don’t look fabulous when I travel either. By the time you get through security then get off a long flight, you just want a nice, warm bed.

I like Kristen’s style less and less as time goes on. She is a talented actress but I always have a negative impression from her photos. She is either personally gross or tries really hard to appear that way.

Please confirm her dating Alicia Cargile. Here its been while she was dating Robert. Cross over. Yikes. This haircut needs to be maintained and if you’re not willing to do your hair then dont get it cut this short. It does look clean tho, i dont know why people say she looks dirty. She doesn’t.

I think this cut has the potential to look awesome. As soon as she gets ride of that color, washes it and spikes it up with some gel – oh yeah, I’m feeling it.
She’s at the airport, so I can’t really fault her hair….especially because her head is turned as she looks like she’s trying to avoid the photographers. If she had extension damage, which I bet she did, it would explain the hair color as she’s probably trying to not dye it unless she has too
Why is EVERY young actress getting this hair cut now? I remember when Shailene got the cut she got torn apart for ”copying J-Law”. Anyways, K-Stews only talent seems to perpetually look dirty and grease.
I don’t blame them–they’ve all been required to have long hair for years and it gets put through the ringer for work. There comes a point when you just have to sever all the damage. I admire K-Stew for growing out the dye job instead of re-dyeing it an even color, but am sure that will only last until her next gig.
Exactly. As Zee said above and Mixtape below, her hair is prolly trashed from having to wear xtensions for years. I jumped on the bandwagon about four years ago and got them for a “glamour fix”. Looked great! For about a year. When I took them out for a total new set, my hair was *garbaged*. Traction alopecia, just from my head turning on my pillow while sleeping. Took 2 more years to grow my hair back and get it healthy and normal.
NEVER again.

Agreed. I only saw her in one movie…and I thought it was terrible. Snow White and the Huntsman. Her ‘acting’ was just a bunch of lusty, victim-y , gape-mouthed poses, reactions and stares. With a little wild hair flinging thrown in for good measure. I wasn’t impressed with Charlize Theron either. But Char char did make me believe that she could easily kill and eat someone she doesn’t like.
She always has reminded me of Avril Lavigne- faux punk, full of herself. She hated Twilight, despite what it did for her, and now that it’s over, people aren’t that interested in her. Not sure how thrilled she is now, but she did take part in blowing up a family, so my sympathy for her is zero.

I actually like her. I’ve liked Rob ever since I saw Twilight and realised he’s actually got some talent but had no way of showcasing it in those horrid films. Same with Kristen. She has displayed some ability and I think indie roles suit her best. Girlfriend had no idea how massive Twilight would be and fame doesn’t agree with her. She couldn’t have known how much she’d hate it until she actually became an overnight tween obsession. I kind of pity her for the hate she gets.
