Ciara and Future welcomed a baby together several months ago. Ciara gave birth to a son and they named him Future Zahir Wilburn, which… I mean, it’s not my baby so I guess I didn’t get a choice. But I hate when parents do that to a baby. Anyway, all seemed well with Ciara and Future – they were engaged, they did red carpets together, stuff was relatively quiet between them. But now Us Weekly and other outlets say that Ciara is done. She’s canceled the engagement and she’s telling people that Future cheated on her.
She’s out! Ciara has called off her engagement to Future, multiple sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly. The “I’m Out” singer, 28, has called it quits with the rapper, 30, just three months after welcoming their son Future Zahir Wilburn.
“He cheated on her. Game over,” an insider tells Us of the “Turn On the Lights” rapper. Another source adds: “She’s devastated. Ciara’s focus now is the baby.”
Together for more than a year, the duo got engaged on Ciara’s birthday in October 2013. They were celebrating in New York City when Future surprised her with a stunning 15-carat diamond ring. She gave birth to their son seven months later, on May 19.
“Our label put us together,” Ciara dished to Brides magazine back in July about meeting her now ex. “I went into the studio strictly to work, but he was very calm and sweet, a gentleman… I knew right away that he was different. Now he’s my best friend in the world, my partner.”
Like with Kendra Wilkinson, I think it takes a particular kind of douchebag to cheat on a pregnant woman or a woman who has just had a baby. All cheating is pretty awful, obviously, but there’s a special place in hell for men who cheat on women who are pregnant or just given birth. I hope Ciara keeps the ring, sells it and gets a buttload of child support too. I will give her this – I like that she’s all “game over.” Fool me once, I WILL END YOU and you will not get a second chance, you bastard.

He got with Ciara a couple of months after his last BM gave birth. She wanted to be the new Bey-Z so bad, it clouded her judgment and made her think she would be the exception to all the others. Celebs need to learn: your job doesn’t make u special from the rest.
Ciara’s pregnancy style was so good! Sad this happened to her but she’s a strong woman, she’ll go on with her life.

Given this guys track record this could have been seen coming a mile away. I am glad that she has enough self esteem to end it instead of trying to make it work because they have a child together. I wish Ciara the best.

ITA everyone saw this coming. When they announced her pregnancy I was sad because I knew he was going to be out the door very soon after. He’s done it three or four times before. What makes you think he won’t do it again? With that many babies and mamas I would have made him wrap his whole body in cellophane if that’s what it took to prevent pregnancy. I used to work in the same building as Ciara’s mother. I was a college student and security guard then, and she was sitting across the room. I was telling another security guard about how much I liked Ciara and the positive message for young girls in her ‘Cookie’s’ song. Her mother came over to me, she was so thrilled, she’d over heard me talking about her daughter and thanked me for listening to her daughter’s music. Honestly, I think that NE-YO knew how Rhianna really was and just was not attracted to a wild girl. I don’t think that NE-YO is gay because if he wanted a beard, it wouldn’t have mattered who he hooked up with. Rhianna was viewed as a “sweet girl” by the public, at the time he stated this, until the Chris Brown violence, and her going back to him and appearing to be on drugs and her continuously forcing nudity on the public. I think NE-YO, like John Legend, has class and will not be fooled or, make a spectacle, of their public life. I believe they have a soul and refuse to live a farce of a family assembled by their record companies. I would refuse to be made a muse for money when it comes to my love life, wouldn’t you?

Ciara is probably worth more than Future. He’s a fairly new artist and he has other children to support. She’s not getting much money in comparison to other famous women who have gained child support from their celebrity husbands/partners. It’s a sad story because there is a child involved. At the same time, I always felt like their entire relationship was completely rushed. They were a good-looking couple, but they rushed the engagement, the baby, etc.

Future has a baby that just turned one so that means he cheated with Ciara while baby mama #3 or #4 was pregnant or had just given birth so I don’t get all this sympathy for poor Ciara.
