Are George Clooney & Amal rushing the wedding because she’s knocked up?

FFN_Alamuddin_Amal_FFUK_051314_51410035

A few days ago, George Clooney and his super-busy (very, very busy-do-not-ask-questions) fiancée Amal Alamuddin were photographed having dinner in Como, Italy. Because seriously, Amal has pretty much spent the whole summer in Como (super-busy!). I wish we had the photos but we don’t – you can see them here. She had her arm around him. They kissed and nuzzled. What else happened?

The wedding countdown is on for lovebirds George Clooney and fiancée Amal Alamuddin, and what better way to celebrate their upcoming nuptials than to sample some tasty eats?

The 53-year-old Oscar winner and 36-year-old human rights lawyer packed on the PDA at a recent dinner with friends in Lake Como, Italy, at a restaurant at a luxury hotel. A source told E! News that this may have been the pair’s wedding menu tasting dinner.

“He’s been there two or three times already in recent weeks, checking out the grounds and walking around,” the source added about Clooney.

At their dinner, the two and their friends sat at a round table adorned with a white tablecloth, candles and white and red flowers. They shared a kiss, while Alamuddin also gave Clooney a neck massage and cozied up to him lovingly, another source told E! News. The two were later spotted taking a stroll by themselves.

The pair got engaged in April and in June, they were spotted touring possible wedding venues in the Lake Como area, where Clooney maintains a home. The source told E! News that Clooney and Alamuddin are likely to tie the knot in mid-September. They have already obtained a marriage license, in London, where the actor’s fiancée lives and works.

[From E! News]

Food details or GTFO. As for the wedding, some say late September, some say mid-September, but I keep saying it’s probably going to be late August/early September. Clooney might even try to jack attention away from the VMAs and Emmys.

As for the speed with which this wedding has come together… some people are saying it’s because Amal is already pregnant. She was photographed in a maxi dress in Como, and TMZ thinks she looks knocked up on the photo – go here to see. That’s part of The George Clooney-Girlfriend Experience, you know. They always get pregnancy rumors. Some of the rumors were even started by the girlfriends. Personally, I think Amal is just standing at a weird angle and the “bump” is her optical-illusion hip. Of course, I also think George had a vasectomy years ago, so lord knows.

Wow, if I go by that TMZ pic then I’ve been pregnant like…23 times, lol. Maxi dresses billow out a lot, especially if it’s windy. I mean honestly now, just because the breeze caught her dress doesn’t mean she’s about to drop twins. *Eyerolls and goes back to work*

    • Jen2 says:

We have gone from “food baby” now to “wind blown” baby. The gossip press’s obsession with the status of a woman’s uterus is getting sillier by the day.

      • sonalaceae (Nighty) says:

“The gossip press’s obsession with the status of a woman’s uterus is getting sillier by the day. ”
LOL, well said… They have nothing to write about, so… they wind blow things. 🙂

  2. Erinn says:

It looks like her hip is angled over to me. I’d be surprised if she was pregnant.

  3. snowflake says:

of course, he’s had a vasectomy! that age and no kids, not an accident, so silly, bump rumors

    • Talie says:

Exactly! There’s no way he would risk it all those years with gold-digging cocktail waitresses…

    • Lilacflowers says:

And vasectomies can be reversed successfully if he does decide he wants kids.

    • Sabrine says:

I think George was fixed years ago. Amal likely doesn’t want kids either so they’re perfect for each other in that regard. I think they make a lovely couple who enjoy each other’s company.

      • Lex says:

Why does she likely not want kids exactly? Did you speak to her about this? What a random thing to surmise.

      • Allie says:

it wouldn’t surprise me at all if she doesn’t want kids. If I was in my mid-late 30s with a successful career that I’ve been married to up until now and I decide to marry a much older than me life long bachelor, I’m probably not gunning for 2.4 kids, a white picket fence, and a golden retriever.

  4. Kiddo says:

I detest baby-bump stories, the end.

    • eliza says:

      Co and sign!

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Me, too. It’s so invasive and rude and potentially hurtful for all sorts of reasons.

      • Kiddo says:

Yeah, no one randomly speculates on sperm counts, for crissakes.

      • HappyMom says:

Hmmm. I get what you’re saying irl. But we’re all on a celeb gossip site making all kinds of observations and judgements on people we don’t actually know, right?

      • MollyB says:

I agree, it is hurtful. I remember feeling really sorry for Nicole Kidman, who has struggled to conceive and carry a child, who was constantly subjected to bump rumors back in the day when she probably WISHED she was pregnant.

      • Kiddo says:

@HappyMom, GNAT has real reasons for not liking the speculation. I find it beyond boring, and feeding into the notion that women aren’t to be valued unless they put the uterus to good use for bearing offspring.

      • HappyMom says:

@Kiddo-again, in real life-I totally agree. But there are all kinds of things we gossip about on this site that people are potentially sensitive to. And in terms of people’s “value”-so much of celebrity “value” is based on the superficial-it’s not really on important or real things. I guess I’m just wondering out loud about where we draw the line on celebrity gossip. We’re not discussing great works of literature, or politics, or women’s health, or society (although I know on this site things like this do get brought up which is why we probably all love it so much more than just generic gossip)-we’re still just speculating on images we see about people we don’t know.

      • Kiddo says:

        @HappyMom, I guess I shouldn’t have answered for GNAT.

Again though, I detest these stories because they are mind-numbingly boring, for me. Especially since, even if she was pregos, she’s engaged to the guy and is seeing him. It’s not like it’s suspected to be Bill Clinton’s baby or something outlandish. I’ve already spent too much time on a subject I’m not interested in, so I’ll depart for good now, from this thread. Carry on.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Kiddo, you can answer for me any time. Thanks.

        Happymom
Oh, I’m not criticizing Celebitchy for running the story, or people on here for commenting on it. I just meant the tabloids’ obsession with every young woman’s stomach bulges and endless speculation on whether someone is pregnant offends me. I’m not saying it should be outlawed, I just find it mean. It’s really just another way of ridiculing women’s bodies, and there’s no downside for the tabloid. If she’s pregnant, they got a “scoop” and if she’s not haha she has a really fat stomach. There’s enough body shaming going on already.

Also, as MollyB said, it could be really painful if the woman IS trying to get pregnant and hasn’t had any success. I’m sort of sensitive to that because I had a lot of infertility issues and was never able to have a child, and went through some experiences where I gained weight from stress and infertility drugs, and had people saying “Congratulations!” when I was just fat. It was embarrassing and humiliating and hurtful.

But I agree with you overall that this is a site for fun gossip, and didn’t mean to criticize anyone but the tabloids.

      • HappyMom says:

@GNAT-no, I understand what you’re saying. (I actually commented on someone further down on the thread about their suggestion that Amal start exercising more because she’s photographed-oy vey.) I’m thinking I need to step away from the celeb gossip sites for a little while . . .

      • Tiffany :) says:

I think it is fine to draw a line at a celeb’s medical information, of which her pregnancy status is a part of. Even healthy, young women have miscarriages. There is no need to rush women to share pregnancy status, whether they are famous or not.

I think celeb gossip is best when it is related to a red carpet appearance, interview, magazine shoot, etc. Getting their medical details is a step over the line for me, and TMZ crosses that line all the time (especially in regards to Britney, Amanda Bynes, etc.).

    • Bella bella says:

I detest the word “bump” for pregnant. Who started this abominable phrase? I think it is de-humanizing, for something that is supposed to be the opposite.

  5. Abbott says:

Why do we have to jump to the Cloonclusion that it’s a shotgun wedding? Can’t a middle age man strategically marry a young, beautiful international barrister to counteract the downhill slide into Hollywood fodder and make a grab at a political appointment? Does no one believe in Tru Luve anymore???

    • sonalaceae (Nighty) says:

Oh, that’s the best definition of Luve I’ve ever read…. even better than Camões’s : Love is a fire that burns unseen, It’s a wound that hurts unfelt, It’s an unhappy contentment; it’s pain that maddens without hurting…

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Right? Everybody’s a cynic these days.

    • Christin says:

Strategic Love. Sounds like the name of a new movie, produced, written and directed by GC.

They had a day or two without photos, so that must have been our intermission. Now, back to the movie.

    • Bella bella says:

And so perfect that she is a lawyer! Saves money on legal fees when drawing up the contract.

    • sienna says:

best comment ever. thanks for making me spit my coffee all over my mac!

  6. Amina says:

Interesting that the pix are coming out now ~ right after she got out of the UN gig.

    Distraction maneuver?

    • BangersandMash says:

She got out of the UN gig?
      Why?

      • Angie says:

Because she’d have to go where bullets are flying and bombs are going off, which would be dangerous to her continued existence. I wouldn’t do It either, but then I’ve never claimed to be an international human rights attorney.

      • Hazel says:

I think the official reason given was that she had too many other commitments. Like being in Italy with George, planning the wedding, the honeymoon, and so on.

      • RC says:

Amal is silly girl. George should not be near her.

  7. QQ says:

This warm and fresh Giant Cup Of Bullshit that the Gossip Gods that be are serving us is just… *smdh but sipping it for the sads hangover*

  8. JennySerenity says:

Total burrito baby. Jeez, ‘bump watch’ with celebrities has gotten completely out of control. Like Jenn Garner, having her publicist announce that she was not pregnant. I bet all that speculation made her feel really great about her body. Sads.

    • Brin says:

Agreed….I was just going to say that…haven’t we learned anything from Jennifer Garner’s bump watch?!

    • NorthernGirl_20 says:

Agreed, and the most recent pics I’ve seen of her she is hiding her tummy.. poor girl feeling self-conscious now.

  9. Mia4S says:

Or maybe…just maybe…sit down for this one….these two career focused adults who enjoy the high life aren’t, *gasp*, going to have kids?!

Clutch those pearls gossip columnists, clutch those pearls! 😉

    • Chris says:

That would be cool, it’s SUCH an impertinent expectation, taking for granted that every couple wants children.
In other news: me, myself, and I hope George and Amal have a splendid wedding and a most joyful life together.
I am aiming for positivity today! (I also have a skinful of codeine for earth-shattering toothache, which explains a lot)

  10. Seapharris7 says:

I like him as an actor, never cared either way for him in real life – other than his seemingly wonderful friendship with Brad Pitt & his love for pigs. But I’m getting rather annoyed with him & her during this wedding stuff. I liked her enough in the beginning, seemed to have her own stuff going on but now it’s like she dropped her life & it’s all about George.

And he totally strikes me as the type to have gotten a vasectomy & frozen some of his sperm just incase he did find someone he wanted to have his kid

    • Tulip Garden says:

Hopefully she hasn’t dropped her life so much as she is taking advantage of having accomplished a lot already and revelling in enjoying her engagement, planning her wedding and subsequent honeymoon.
Life is short. I would enjoy the fruits of my labor if I were her. As long as she remains true to herself, I say good for her.

  11. starbight says:

I’ve seen their astrology charts. They are in the sweet honeymoon stage, but sadly within 2 years SHE will likely get sick of him.

It might be hard to believe but Amal looks like the one who will cheat not Clooney. According to her chart she gets bored easily, more so than even he. I know that’s hard to believe.

I personally think they will stay together if only because Clooney wouldn’t want to look bad by getting a divorce. They will likely live separately. He’ll pay to keep things quiet. Or it is very possible that no one will care much about him in a few years.

Also if/when they separate it will be Amal who initiates the split.

This is just my read on it, of course.

    • CandyKay says:

      Interesting input. Thanks!

    • Seapharris7 says:

      I’ll remember this assessment

    • Sue says:

I’m also an astrologer and I’m surprised they’re even getting together. If I have Amal’s correct birthdate – there are no great ties between the two charts. Amal has Uranus (the divorce planet) opposite Clooney’s Sun and Clooney has his Uranus opposite Amal’s Sun. That aspect is a classic divorce aspect. Clooney also has his Saturn on Amal’s Mercury. He will try to restrict and control her speech. I agree, she will feel stifled under his influence.

      • hunaww says:

Can I contact you Sue? I want you to read my birthdate as well…please?

      • Observer says:

How do you know this? Do you have their birth *time*? You can’t get it correct with only birth date…

      • JH says:

Same here. I’m going through a huge change and any perspective would be helpful.

      • Gurien says:

Thirding the request for some help If you’re okay with that

      • Sue says:

@hunaww – I’m sorry but I have a full client load and I don’t have time to read new charts – but you can go to http://www.astro.com Go to the forum section at the top of the website and enter your birth data and ask any question you want. There are astrologers across the world who will answer your questions for free.

Clooney was born at 1:45 a.m. in Lexington , KY. I don’t have Amal’s time, but you can still see that the slow moving planets like Uranus, oppose her Sun. That indicates sudden breakup. If and when they break up, it will be fast and furious.

      • AliKat says:

Okay, all the info I’ve ever seen cites Clooney’s birth time as 2:58 a.m. in Lexington. This is interesting that you would have a different one.
Agreed on the outer, slower moving planets -Uranus, Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn all have longer transits. From all I understand, and I’m not claiming professional status here at all – just an amateur enthusiast – you can glean some information without actual birth time, so no way am I discounting your info. In fact, it enthralls me and hope that both you and starbright will share more You can bet I’ll be checking back.

Interesting take as well that Amal appears more inclined than
George to get bored in a relationship. He’s been the notorious “2 year” man, so we’ll see how this all plays out. Thanks again you guys for sharing!

      • Sue says:

@AliKat – you are absolutely right, Clooney was born at 2:58 a.m. in Lexington. I am sorry, I was looking at someone else’s chart when I wrote that. Clooney does not have good karma with women in general. His moon is in Capricorn, conjunct Saturn opposite Mars. The moon represents women in a man’s chart. The moon is in it’s detriment in the sign Capricorn and it’s especially unhappy next to Saturn. I don’t feel he was nurtured that much growing up and there was a lot of emphasis put on accomplishment vs. relationships. Since he wasn’t nurtured that much – he is profoundly selfish (sorry to disappoint , ladies) and usually puts his needs before his partners’.

      • siri says:

@Sue: That’s interesting, since I always wondered about his parents, and his relationship with them. I felt like both his parents wanted him to be successful, so a lot of emphasis on working hard, ‘getting somewhere’. In particular his father I think pushed him hard, and his mother probably always stood back, and didn’t interfere much. But when asked about Amal, she showed some sort of elitist/arrogant thinking by saying that Amal would be on his level, unlike the others. In this regard, both families seem to be the same, and not very emotional. And I noticed that George still seems to want to prove himself to his father, trying to be a good boy.

    • AliKat says:

Is her birthdate Feb 3, 1978? And what is her brith time? I’ve wanted to do a synastry chart on these two, but couldn’t find her birth time and without it, I don’t know how you can cast an accurate ephemeris.
Thanks for the input. Knew about Clooney’s potential for marriage based on planetary shifts in his chart, but have been really eager to learn more about her. Appreciate any more info you can provide.

      • starbight says:

@ JH – any major shift in life is a time to be STILL. Don’t make rash decisions if at all possible.

@AliKat – your guess is as good as any. I have my idea, but that’s for another time

@Sue- indeed Clooney’s Saturn/Moon conjunct Amal’ s Mercury opposite her and his Mars is not good. Their verbal interaction is now robust but will likely turn to fierce fights and Clooney will lose.

      • rococo says:

Just run one for midday – she isn’t ‘famous’ famous but she is in the public sphere – you could rectify but that would be a nightmare with no significant points in her life out on the Internet.

In fact its weird as anything that she supposedly has NO romantic history ( and the Dad is a mystery) – you telling me the Daily Mail couldn’t find anything on her?

      • AliKat says:

Either of you have an idea what Amal’s ascendant is? And what placement accounts for her ‘mystery’ personna – not much out there other than educational / vocational pedigree, which makes Clooney’s job easier to manipulate her image as trophy wife emeritus, I suppose. If this chick runs in elite high society circles, you’d have thought there’d have been some traceable circulation. Strict, sheltered upbringing? And then all of a sudden she springs on the scene like a Southern debutante with her coming out party being “Britain’s Hottest Barrister”? Too many unkowns surrounding her, IMO, which makes me wonder if Pisces or Socrpio figure into her chart prominently or she’s got alot of planets in the 12th house OR the planets
are predominantly located in the bottom half of her chart. Just some thoughts hoping to provoke responses. 🙂

    • LucasV says:

starbight: What is Amal’s birthdate if you can recall offhand and her time of birth? I’d love to know since astrology is a hobby of mine.

    • Sue says:

@AliKat – I’ll just wager a guess – she might have Pisces rising. That would put her Aquarian planets in the 12th house. She has lush, thick hair – and people with water rising signs usually have nice hair.

    • a says:

      starbight
sorry i don’t agree with any word you said and your words only give me a feeling of you try to make amal look better n case they break up .

  12. DanaG says:

Could it be because folks have taken a closer look at Amal’s client list and rather sketchy ties? Not exacty Snow White and she could cause Clooney some major headaches. I agree with the vasectomy. The pictures as staged just like the whole relationship nothing normal or natural there.

    • Francis says:

Exactly! I’ve said similar all along. Her background concerning her client list will hurt George if he is planning a run for office. She’s a lightening rod for the opposition, they will use her client list against George.
Also George on his own is basically a lightweight, IMO No matter how much he spouts off about international events, he’s a lightweight .

    • Ness says:

English solicitor here. Amal Alamuddin is a barrister. Barristers operate under a “cab rank” rule where they are obliged to accept the next case unless they feel they are not sufficiently qualified or they do not have the capacity to take on the case. The principle that everyone has a right to a fair trial doesn’t just apply to nice people. The fact she has represented sketchy types says nothing about her personally.

      • Francis says:

The opposition will have a field day with her client list. That’s just how political campaigns work. If George were to run.

      • Hazel says:

Interesting. Thanks for the clarification, Ness.

      • guest says:

What should also be as plainly obvious as the right to a fair trial is that no one forces anyone to be a criminal defense attorney. And for Amal, she certainly is not defending those that cannot afford an attorney, since there, no doubt, have been hefty billing fees attached to defending wealthy notorious human rights abusers.

Most importantly, what Amal Alamuddin absolutely is not is a human rights activist and the disingenuous PR campaign that suggests otherwise is an insult to actual human rights activists — particularly since those are the very people who defend the victims of her typical clients.

Despite having zero chemistry, though, that is one thing she does have in common with George Clooney: a penchant for shamelessly fake PR campaigns, which explains those painfully staged kissing-while-barely-touching-our-lips photos.

      • Francis says:

        Guest: Exactly TRUE
She defends as you have eloquently stated “notorious human rights abusers”

  13. L says:

In other news, I like that maxi dress and want it for my own! It’s so hard for me to find a cute maxi that isn’t strapless, have thin spaghetti straps, or some kind of racerback. That’s just not going to work for the girls ya know?

    • 2manycookies says:

The whoopee cushions on the dress really make it. 🙂

      • Francis says:

Her dress is just ugly. I thought they were re money bags, then I thought maybe they are orange or red fish.
        Her fashion sense is HORRIBLE.

I hope the designer doing her wedding dress has lots of input on the details.

I kinda miss her moms pink or purple furry or feathered visor, that was interesting.

  14. Lis says:

    Zzzzzzzzzzzz

  15. Francis says:

Just another ugly dress worn by Amal, what are those red things on the white dress on the Lake with George. The red things are shaped like moneybags?
Gawwwd her fashion sense is awful!!

  16. Ag says:

i really dislike those black shoes. the rest of her outfit is great. that’s all i’ve got.

    • Belle Epoch says:

Her footwear choices are unfortunate. Her feet are very long so the overall effect is gangly and … adolescent? Please don’t kill me.

  17. lisa says:

her jeans and shoes – she’s like an extra from newsies

  18. aenflex says:

Her outfit. Horrible. Apart from the sweater, I like it.

    • FingerBinger says:

That’s a pretty awful outfit. She’s dressed the way I used to dress in college. Not a good look for a women in her 30’s.

      • Chris says:

I dunno….I have jeans and boots just like this, and am knocking at 60. I like most of her gear a lot, (perhaps excepting the 80s Bananarama tribute look of stonewashed jeans and lacy top). 😉

  19. Jess says:

I think George was smart enough to get snipped years ago, being with so many different women I guarantee one of them would’ve gotten “accidentally” knocked up otherwise.

  20. Eleonor says:

I am a bit tired of this “she seems busy but she is not”.
I am not a lawyer but I suppose she can take all her stuff on her laptop, and normal people go to work, have lunch break, go to the grocery etc. etc. I suppose even lawyer do that.
PLUS: it takes one hour (or one hour and half I don’t remember well) from London to Italy.

    • Mophita121 says:

This. Seriously. For the love of God stop throwing shade at the woman for going to dinner or for getting a manicure or having dinner . . . The best lawyers I know seem to be able to be in 5 different places at once and always look fierce. There are satellite offices, teleconferences, work where you don’t have to be chained to a desk. She could be staying up until 2am most nights doing work (which is not uncommon for some lawyers depending on the type of work they do), I wouldn’t be surprised if she did a lot of work on the train / plane to Como or wherever. It’s up for her employers to judge her ability to do work and the quality of it, not us, and especially not because we see pictures of her eating dinner.

      • Francis says:

She’s doing the same dinners and lake photo-ops his previous girlfriends did.
George is certainly set in his ways of pr for his women.

      • SuePerb says:

She doesn’t have an employer, she works for herself so it is even more flexible. And Eleonor is right (well almost 2.5 hours from City Airport to Milan) so she may be in London some time during the week if needed and Como the rest of the time. George is also well known for having loads of people over all the time, so how does anyone know that a couple of her other colleagues aren’t in Como sometimes too.

    • CentralParkSouth says:

She does have an employer. His name is Clooney. And Amal’s job title now is Official Clooney PR Girl. It could not any be more obvious. Or sell out pathetic.

  21. RedWeatherTiger says:

I am trying REALLY HARD to learn to read her name as Amal and not Anal. But every time I see it, I misread it.

  22. Jayna says:

Didn’t they announce their engagement five months ago? Even then, it was reported he wanted to marry around the time that marked a year from their first date and also while she had time off before gearing back up on cases in September. So I don’t see how the wedding is rushed when that seems to have been the intention all along.

  23. Cody says:

lol – in the tabloids she has gone from virgin to baby bump. I bet George shoots blank bullets. So unless they went to a sperm bank to collect, then she is not pregnant.

  24. mkyarwood says:

Ha, I cosign food details or GTFO. Also if she is knocked up, then she’s doing her full ‘job’ right? I mean, this whole thing smells of ensuring he has a legacy before it’s ‘too late’.

  25. O.K.P says:

Just saw the pictures. I don’t get it. Why does a renowned human rights lawyer and fully grown female insist on dressing like a 2 year old?

    • rococo says:

I don’t know but she looks more hungry for attention in all the ( pre arranged, cough) pap shots than Katy Price.

If she doesn’t wear a Hello Kitty garter on the big day I will be stunned.

  26. Jackie Jormp Jomp says:

Girlfriend has an ugly shoe problem and needs an intervention.

  27. Hissyfit says:

That kissing photo is staged as hell to make it look like it’s been taken by papz! Lol. Nice try George.

    • Candy Love says:

      ^ This

Funny how People Magazine got the exclusive pictures with the same mood lighting as the engagement pictures and the trip to Africa that People Magazine just also happen to get the exclusive rights to.

George is trying way to hard to sell this “image” and I don’t get why. The harder he try’s to sell this the more fake it seems, someone should really tell that to his PR person.

      • Angie says:

+1. This whole engagement/love affair seems more and more surreal with every passing staged-but-candid photo release.

  28. CentralParkSouth says:

I’m not sure what continues to be unclear about the fact that it’s not just pictures of Amal being out to dinner causing her to draw shade.

It’s her full embrace of a beck-and-call Clooney girl — which includes travel any and everywhere, not just to Italy, to be wherever George snaps his fingers.

So, presenting an image as an uber career driven lawyer, who cites her own busy work schedule in released statements to the press — while the reality of her travel schedule, for anyone actually paying attention, shows full Clooney beck-and-call girl — is perfectly appropriate gossip shade.

And, frankly, if she was as smart as her PR presents her as, she never would have signed up to be a Clooney girl in the first place.

  29. Bo knows says:

I am not body shaming, but she is very skinny and if she tried some weight training, crossfit, pilates, yoga, personal trainer or a little of two things, she could shape her body and develop muscles and loose the stomach. Her posture would also change and so when she would stand in certain positions her stomach would not proturd. If I was going to be followed around by a camera I would try something.

    • HappyMom says:

Why? She’s not a model or an actress. Why should she have to look a certain way just because she’s being photographed for marrying a famous actor?

      • H2O says:

Weight training is good for the bones. A few core muscles to hold good posture is good for your health and longevity, pictures or no pictures.

    • Tania2 says:

Her body looks just fine. And its lose, not loose.

    • lana86 says:

it was her hip, not her stomach protruding on the pic, LOL! She’s got a very flat belly, in case u havent noticed.

  30. D says:

Just really find this pair odd. Great if they are happy though. I don’t find her attractive at all and think she is very odd looking. Her education and career have been blown out of proportion.

  31. Leaflet says:

Annoyed with Clooney and his pet. I wish they would get married and fade into obscurity.

  32. JuJuBee says:

Amal has horrible posture! Some pics taken from the side show a really bad slouch. I’m glad to read that not many people are buying into this farce. Who would’ve thunk that one day Clooney would be taking a page from the Kardashian Famewhoring Playbook?

  33. moot says:

WTF is wrong with people? Amal looks thinner than she did last year. STOP with the bump watch. Just stop! It’s ridiculous and the least interesting news about a woman I can think of. It’s 2014 and this type of thing is still gossip-worthy? UGH! Just Ugh! Bump watches are making me crazy.

    • bcgirl says:

yes, seriously let’s stop with the bump watch and start with the beard watch.
      any stubble yet?

  34. siri says:

There were exactly the same pictures at the same table at Villa d’Este with Stacy, holding hands with Clooney- must be the same photographer as well. Same chairs, same lighting, same ankle, only a different flower arrangement on the table.

Of course he knows he’s being photographed. There must be plenty of good restaurants in that area- if he really wanted privacy, he could have it.

  35. ickythump says:

Ive gotta say ive posted bfore on th george and amal roadshow and on the PR surrounding it and if its th real deal or not bladdybkah, but ive got to say ther was only one emotion I felt looking at these pictures – pure unadulterated jealousy – can u imagine spending th summer in lake como as george clooneys fiance? No I mean seriously? Im not goin to read anything about them anymore or post anything else -I admit defeat x

  36. Tania2 says:

It is hard to get pregnant if you are 36 years old and never been pregnant before.

Not impossible, just hard. If she were 20 years old, that might be more of a probability.

We need to raise public awareness about fertility and how it declines with age.

  37. Zombie Shortcake says:

    What beautiful fake pap pics.

    These clowns.

  38. Francis says:

He probably spends more times with his pals and only calls her out for photo ops.
    This is so fake.
Stacey and Elizabetta had practically the same pictures.
George ups his game, with a lawyer, but sticks to the same promotional techniques.
Romantic photo in cafe. New ladies papz photos with him enjoying the lake.
He’s thrown in marriage for this one. He’s up the contract, but practically doing the same things.
And Amal is behaving like the others now, Just following George around, dancing to his tune.

  39. yo vinny says:

The guy wants a kid. You may not believe it, but he does. She is out of his league, too be sure and they both know it – but there are benefits on both sides. This is a good story. Everyone take a breath.

  40. Francis says:

    Not impressed.
She’s not much different than the others just following George around , bending to whatever PR scheme he wants.
I doubt these two even sleep together, I don’t believe for a second George is any different than some other celebrities who want to keep their real choices on the down low.

  41. Deedee says:

I dont really find Amal all that attractive in general, but she does look lovely in that picture with the maxi dress.

  42. Anastasia says:

    He truly has no lips.

  43. Lucky Charm says:

I also was under the impression that he had a vasectomy years ago. A five month engagement isn’t really that short or unheard of, so not sure why people think it’s being rushed. Oh well, congratulations to them whenever it happens.

  44. kyra says:

I’m not usually a hater, but I got to say this: she is lovely, but not Hollywood-wifey. She’s way too smart to have a happy marriage with a Hollywood guy, exposed to women throwing themselves to him, and the most beautiful women, that is, like models and actresses. He’ll be cheating on her in a few months, if he’s not already doing it.

  45. Melanie says:

Can’t stand Clooney. Really arrogant and he has achieved nothing in the Sudan in the years he’s been involved except get good publicity for himself. Also his relationship with this Alamudden woman seems suspicious. He slags off marriage for years and then tries to rush down the aisle with a woman he barely knows while having his people release a series of obviously staged shots of them e.g. the close up of the engagement ring? Weird.
