Well coiffed “The Tudors” star Jonathan Rhys Meyers was spotted out having dinner with a friend in LA last night just two weeks after checking into rehab for what his rep called “a break… to maintain his recovery.” He was said to have entered an alcohol treatment facility for what was assumed was at least 28 days. Just two weeks after the April 24th announcement and Rhys Meyers is enjoying his freedom.

Reese Meyers was seen talking animatedly to a friend while shoveling food into his mouth. He also stopped to chat with some women. He smoked a cigarette and did not have alcohol with lunch. The photo agency reports that he stuck to Coke, and it was probably diet considering how great he looks. It seems that in his mad dash to get out of rehab he forgot his belt, and he was seen flashing his tighty whities while running and bending over to get something.

Maybe rehab did the trick already and has served its purpose. After all, he did get some publicity for it. If he’s not going to give rehab a chance perhaps some beach shots of him in a Speedo would have been a better career strategy.
