Congrats to them.I love Chris.Talented, sweet and funny.

  2. Erinn says:

Sigh. I love Chris. I need to re-watch the IT Crowd.
I actually asked a client the other day if they’d tried turning their computer off and back on again.

    • Sunny says:

He is absolutely adorable. I have been a fan of a lot of his projects but i especially love the IT Crowd. Sometimes, I will randomly bust out one of Roy’s lines. Special shout out to the Sea World fire episode. 🙂

His wife also seems really cool and funny. I wish her a health happy pregnancy.

    • original kay says:

one of the best series ever.

we use their lines a lot, the only show we have ever done that with.

our favourites, if we had to choose, would be “the work outing” and “the dinner party”.

      • Louminary says:

Totally agree, he’s hilarious and his physicality is amazing. Love him so!

      • inthekitchen says:

The Work Outing is THE BEST thing I’ve ever seen. I could watch it every month and still laugh and laugh.

Dinner Party is definitely second on my list too.

    • Erinn says:

      Such a quotable show!

  3. jinni says:

I love Chris O’Dowd. He was one of the best things about an otherwise boring Thor: The Dark World and the only reason why I made it through Bridesmaids. Congrats.

    • aquarius64 says:

I saw The Dark World. He played Jane Foster’s (Natalie Portman) rebound guy. According to certain rumors, Thor and Jane break up and Jane gets with O’Dowd’s character. Bad call in my opinion. Richard (O’Dowd’s character) is too much of an insecure goofball to handle Jane’s past with the God of Thunder. Maybe they will play it for laughs in the sequel.

  4. sigh((s)) says:

Awwww! This actually made me squeal with delight. Very happy for them both!

  5. pwal says:

Congratulations to the both of them. They seem like a fun couple.

    • mimif says:

Her whole get up in that pic is amazing. It’s like the Love Boat all over again.

      • homegrrrl says:

A beautiful girl can totally pull off the Julie Mccoy/ Anna Wintour haircut. If I did this it would be “ONe DAy at A Time” middle aged put upon single (forever) mom!

    • Anthea says:

Yes! I agree – I always liked her presenting style – probably because she reminded me a bit of one of my friends, haha

  6. Marty says:

Congrats, I love them both so much! Everyone should check out Dawn’s special called Super Slim Me she did a couple years ago. It was a sad eye opener for me when I first saw it.

    • Happyhat says:

I do love Dawn but ‘Super Slim Me’ was super depressing – maybe because I don’t really care about size 0 but I was very taken aback by her obsession over it.

And I totally didn’t know she was married to Chris. Awwww.

      • Marty says:

Well it was an experiment, and I think that was the point. To show the physical and emotional toll that kinda of lifestyle can take on a person. And she only did it for eight weeks! Can you imagine the women who live like that all the time?!

  7. claire says:

Awww. Congrats to them! Love him.

  8. amanda says:

so Donnatella thinks people should donate to “ASL”…what the fu*k is that, girl?

It’s for ALS. Proof that people are doing this for no reason but for themselves.
    b*tch.

    • Louminary says:

This is the only thing that bothers me about the fundraiser. I love love love that it’s making so much money but I wish these band wagoning trend followers (celebs and normo’s) actually took a moment to read up on the disease.
I looked after a man with long term ALS for a year and it’s one of the most horrific diseases. He was completely bed ridden with control of only his eyelids. He was on a trach for breathing and I had to suction his lungs every ten minutes or he would choke to death. And you lose use of all muscles but not sensation. Imagine having a itch you can’t move a muscle to scratch! It’s like being buried alive inside your own body.
Let’s try not to forget the people we are actually raising money for

    • Lea says:

maybe she mixed up the name of the disease: in Italian is SLA.

  9. kri says:

I love him-I’d do him 100 ways to Sunday. His wife is lucky. Congrats to both of ’em.

  10. Ag says:

    congrats to them, awesome!

  11. emma says:

I <3 Chris O'Dowd. Congrats to the couple! And how cute that they both have O' in their last names.

    • Norman Bates' Mother says:

It’s because Dawn changed her name from Porter to O’Porter after they got married – she combined their last names instead of going for Dawn Porter – O’Dowd.

      • word says:

Hmm that seems like a good idea. Have the couple mix up their last names and create a whole new last name !

      • Norman Bates' Mother says:

That would be a very nice compromise for couples who want to have the same, non-hyphenated name but can’t decide which one to drop. Some names don’t go well together though. Brad and Angelina’s name would be Pijolie, Pittie, Jott or maybe Pilie? But the Tylor-Johnsons could be Tysons, Lorsons or Johnors and those are/sound like the actual names.

      • GiGi says:

We have friends that did that! It worked well because the last three letters of his last name, were the first three letters of her last name… they went well together!

    • LAK says:

I love that she added O to her name without eradicating her existence simply because she became a Mrs.

      Ditto the Taylor Johnsons.

    • delorb says:

I was just coming to crack wise on her being called Dawn O’Dowd. Sounds like Dawn of the Dead. Congrats to them both.

  12. Candy Love says:

Matthew Knowles deserves his own post all I can say is WOW.

    • lucy2 says:

Wow that’s bonkers. Hasn’t he been pretty much cut out of their lives? Yet he still knows what’s going on, of course.
I don’t think that elevator fight was staged, unless Solange is a pretty good actress.

  13. Emmy says:

I love, love Dawn O’Porter and Chris O’Dowd! Congratulations to them both… That’s going to be one cool kid.

  14. word says:

Congrats to him and his wife. Shakira is also pregnant with her second child.

  15. lucy2 says:

Congrats to them! I’m not familiar with her but I like him a lot. I love the color of that dress, but wish the top half was different.

Whenever I see the name Bella Thorne, I think it’s a character from Twilight or one of those ABC family shows.

  16. Camille (The Original) says:

Aww congrats! It will be a cute cute. Love Chris, he is adorbs.

  17. Evadstructn says:

I have watched alot of Dawns documentaries. She’s going for a Louis Theroux cultural anthropologist vibe… Only problem is she cant help but make herself the focus in every scenario, either with really her really cute (but attention grabbing) retro hair and fashion, or by involving herself too heavily in interviews. Her docos are entertaining but have no academic or intellectual merit whatsoever. She seems like a cool person though. And so does he.

  18. Kate says:

Have always thought Dawn is so, so gorgeous and sweet. She’ll be a great mom!

  19. Nudgie says:

“The Boat That Rocked.” One of the best ’60’s’ films EVER!!!
