Lauren Conrad married lawyer William Tell in California on Saturday

Lauren Conrad married her dude! LC and William Tell got married in California on Saturday. I went looking for wedding photos on her site but couldn’t find any, although I was reminded of how great LC’s site is compared to Blake Lively’s Preserve. You can actually find what you’re looking for at Laurenconrad.com. Anyway, LC did everything her way, which is good because I often got the impression that it wasn’t so much about marrying the man of her dreams as it was about planning a great wedding and marketing mid-market wedding crap.

LC is married! Lauren Conrad and William Tell have officially tied the knot, her rep exclusively confirms to Us Weekly. The pair said “I do” in an intimate ceremony in front of close friends and family along the coast of California on Saturday, Sept. 13.

“What a perfect way to start our lives together; surrounded by the people we love most,” the happy couple tell Us in a statement.

Conrad, 28, and Tell, 34, met on Valentine’s Day during a blind date set up by mutual friends in 2012. “My family loves him, so they love when we come to visit,” Conrad told Us at Downy’s Pop-Up Laundromat event in NYC that June. “We spend a lot of weekends there hanging out by the pool and doing nothing.”

Wedding planning, however, would soon fill up Conrad’s downtime. The former Laguna Beach and The Hills star announced in October 2013 that Tell popped the question — also showing off her new round cut diamond engagement ring. “I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend,” she gushed. “I am beyond thrilled!”

Within the next year the couple celebrated Conrad’s 28th birthday with a hoedown-themed party, took a spin on Alice in Wonderland’s Mad Tea Party ride during a visit to Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., enjoyed their two-year anniversary and celebrated Tell’s graduation from law school at the University of Southern California in May. The pair took an adorable snapshot together at the time with Conrad dressed in her beau’s school robes.

Leaving the cap and gown behind, the Paper Crown fashion designer and best-selling author then jetted off to Mexico for a four-day bachelorette party with her closest girlfriends in June. The group sipped on cocktails and tanned beachside, tagging photos via Instagram with the hashtag #donttellmrtell. With just weeks away from the wedding, Conrad was the guest of honor at an elegant and classy bridal shower at her L.A. home over the Labor Day weekend.

Lo Bosworth was one of the nine bridesmaids, just FYI. LC designed all of the bridesmaids’ dresses, and I guess she maybe designed her wedding dress too?

As for whether this will last… I don’t know. They’ve been together for two and a half years. He recently graduated from law school and I hope he actually pursues a career in law and he doesn’t just join LC’s business. Lauren doesn’t post many photos of him on her Instagram, but maybe that’s a good thing? Maybe they actually have a great relationship and they just don’t feel the need to show us everything. In any case, congrats to LC and William Tell.

While the majority might think she is basic, I really like her style and I cannot wait to see pictures of the wedding!

    • FLORC says:

Her style is simple and stylish. She might not be blazing any fashion trails, but she’s not bringing out bad outfits.
      I like her.

And good for her not posting random photos to show the world she’s happy. That’s for desperate people imo. She’s likely enjoying her time with him so much that reaching for her phone to see what other people think isn’t on her mind.

      • HH says:

Couldn’t agree more FLORC! In this age of constant social media, I think celebrities forget that once you invite people into your relationship, you can’t un-invite them. Conrad has been very clear that she wants her public persona to be more about her business (which btw is exactly why MTV cancelled another reality show they had planned for her).

As someone who once thought her basic, she’s grown on me by being consistently low-key and actually a decent businesswoman. She was the one who, when asked “what’s your favorite position?” answered “CEO,” right? What a great answer.

      • Magnolia says:

        Perfectly said! 👏

    • Erinn says:

I like her too. And I love her style. It’s things I would enjoy wearing. Sometimes simple just works best.

    • Eleonor says:

I like her over the years she has build her own succes, and she doesn’t look or sound pretentious.
I like her style: it’s nice and feminine without being over the top, I would totally wear what she wears.

    • The Original Mia says:

I like her too! Happy for her.

  2. GlimmerBunny says:

Congrats! I really like Lauren (she was always my favorite on The Hills and her style is so cute) and I hope we get to see her dress.

  3. Talie says:

The design of everything she does is literally perfect. Much better thought out than Blake and she is much more stealth about her own success and wealth than most of these other lifestyle ladies.

  4. Jess says:

Hope I don’t catch hell for this, but I’ve always liked her! She seems down to earth and sweet, and her style is amazing. She works hard, even though she was given crazy opportunities I still think she has a great work ethic. Happy that she found love and wish them the best!

    • Anthea says:

She is very likeable. I think she keeps the right level of presence actually. She’s not shoved in our faces all the time.

  5. Lempicka says:

Anyone else find it hillarious that his name is William Tell?!

  6. pnichols says:

I always LOVED her. She is a class act. I love her style and she’s got a great sense of humor. Congrats to them!

Out of curiosity, I took a look at Blake Livelys Preserve and I must be getting old…the site is so dark and the font is tiny. And then compare it to LCs page, it’s bright, soft, clean..so, props to Lauren because the girl knows what she’s doing, I’ve always liked her anyways.

    • Skyblue says:

I looked at Blake’s site as well and wound up giggling…doesn’t anyone remember the original “curated” sales ploy and master “curator” is the jpeterman catalog?

  8. Hopelessly Out of It says:

Seems as if she responded to the William Tell Overture.

  9. Dani says:

He’s actually a pretty decent musician too. He was in Something Corporate till he left to do his own thing, so I don’t think he needs to join in on her business. Love them both.

  10. Blythe says:

Lauren is my “girlfriend-in-my-head”. We get breakfast in the mornings and laugh about the Kardashians in the tabloids while sipping overpriced coffee from domestic beans. If there is any reality star I admire, it’s LC. Congratulations to her!

  11. Norman says:

Congratulations to Lauren and William on the wedding, I know they will be together for a long, long time. Lauren Conrad is a very exceptional person in Hollywood. She is not just beautiful on the outside, she is a stunner but she beautiful in the inside. She cares for other people, she is a conscientious and ethical businessperson and she cares about her local community. Lauren is a Queen. Congrats to both of them.

  12. Ashley says:

If William Tell just graduated in May, he’s not a lawyer. Bar results don’t come out until late November… SO might want to rethink your headline here.
