Honestly, almost every time I read or hear someone's prejudiced, racist/sexist/homophobic/ageist/ist-in-general rant, they reveal their IGNORANCE (I mean that it the most general way- stupidity, lack of common sense and or proper logical processes) in the very same statement. My mother told me the other day that she read a book in college that proposed that empathy is part of a higher form of intelligence.
