Jane Fonda makes out with Steven Colbert

Jane Fonda went on “The Colbert Report” last Wednesday to promote her new movie Georgia Rule. She immediately sat on flustered host Colbert’s lap and gave him a full-on kiss on the lips. She said she “saw the show where you put your fantasies about me on notice.” They showed a clip from Georgia Rule where she hits a guy in the knees with a baseball bat, and then Jane said “now you know what’s going to happen to you when you put your fantasies about my on notice.” Colbert replied “No, now I know what’s going to happen to me when I go home tonight to my wife.”

He then changed the topic with “Let’s talk about war protesting, shall we?” while Fonda cuddled and kissed his cheek. “It’s not exactly how I expected this interview to go.” He tried to ask her what it was like working with Lindsay Lohan, and she said “No, let’s go back to the war. We cannot elect men to office that are afraid of premature ejaculation.”

This reminds me of that time that Charlize Theron told a CNN reporter “I want to make out with you right now” after he questioned her statement that “I could argue that there’s a lack of freedom in America.” Her statement was in response him staying that there was a lack of freedom in Cuba while they were talking about her new documentary on Cuban rappers.

Theron was not in the same studio as the interviewer, while Fonda was. It looks like she took some proactive makeout measures with Colbert, who is on the same political page as she is but bases his show on pretending to be one of those bombastic news journalists. Truthiness goes out the window when confronted with a come-on from a hot 69 year-old screen legend.

Fonda was also seen dancing energetically with Lindsay Lohan at the Georgia Rule premiere after party and was recently quoted saying that she wants to “make an erotic movie about a woman over 70.” She may not be doing lines in the bathroom or slipping a nip, but she sure knows how to get publicity. Maybe Lohan should ask her for advice.
