I didn’t envision writing about Tori Spelling two days in a row. This may be overkill, but the second season of True Tori is in full gear. Tori’s pulling out all the stops lately. She lunched with Dean McDermott’s ex-wife. She bragged about sleeping with Dean the first day they met (even though they were both married to other people). Tori has taken a brief break from her homelife, however, as she’s been hospitalized for pneumonia-like symptoms.
Tori’s been Instagramming from her hospital bed. I believe she’s sick but fully expect this ordeal to be documented. Tori has indeed suffered various medical ailments over the years. I’m not accusing her of faking a hospital visit. She is bringing the drama though. She captioned the above photo as follows: “This sick in hospital I finally see how quickly life can take it all away frm you. We all need 2 step up frm inside& go 4 it! W/our friends by our side. Sadly I’ve finally faced truth that 1 person will never be there 4 me #TrueTori”
We’re supposed to believe that Dean is the person who won’t visit Tori because he’s the big bad cheater. If Tori is talking about Dean, then I wouldn’t blame him for not dragging their four kids to the hospital. Tori’s team put out word that her doctors suspect Enterovirus. She’s supposedly under quarantine. Tori knows what she’s doing — she will milk her marital drama as much as possible. There IS a comment on this photo that simply reads “LIAR LIAR LIAR LIAR LIAR.” Not everyone buys Tori’s sTories.
Dean probably isn’t the culprit. Candy Spelling is far more likely to not visit Tori in the hospital. Candy and Tori have well-documented tension. This week’s issue of Life & Style has a story about how Candy is now best friends with Tatum O’Neal. Tatum now sees Candy as a “real mother figure,” and Tori is jealous. Yep.
Oh, and Dean fully feels the pressure over his negative rep. He spoke with ET Canada about seeing his own face on tabloid covers: “You know, when you’re at the checkout and you look over and you see one of these magazines and it’s like, ‘Dean McDermott’s a monster,’ I’m not a monster, I’m a human being and I messed up I’m owning up to it and I’m getting help. To label me a monster or evil is very hurtful … You know, I’m not the first person to ever cheat on his wife.” Dean’s correct — he’s not the first guy (or gal) to cheat. He may want to talk to Tori about feeding all their dirty laundry to the press.

I do not understand why Candy can’t provide Tori and the kids some modest monthly allowance. Tori supports her family of six. That is why we constantly see the self promotion. I blame Candy more than Tori.

Why should Candy support her? Fame whore Tori is an adult. She could get a real job instead of ruining her family with all the sordid details of her disgustng life. And how do we do know she doesn’t? Four kids-nannies, school tuitions, all the shopping trips, cars, vacations, big houses, over the top kids’ parties- no way Tori and Dean are paying for all of it.
She has repeatedly claimed to not be able to afford a snip for Dean, yet their lifestyle suggests they can afford more than basic necessities. Things don’t match up, and her own mother suggests she’s a good storyteller (which is a nice way to put it).
Candy has mentioned that she does provide support. I don’t think she gives 100% and she shouldn’t either. What’s funny is that you never hear Tori’s brother complaining about having no money. He’s quietly made a life for himself with selling out to reality tv.
Tori Spelling was a working actress for many years – 90210, Lifetime, her reality shows – and made a very nice chunk of money, as well as most likely a nice Trust Fund from Aaron, and of cpurse the infamous $800K from Aaron. She has blown through more money than most of us will ever see in two lifetimes, and you think her mommy’s obligated to bail her out yet again? When Tori herself has shown that she has no ability to say no to herself, with shopping trips and fancy vacations? Tori Spelling is the adult mother of 4 children, why would anyone expect her mother to be giving her an allowance?
Tori is irresponsible with money and an adult. She has storage units full of crap she bought for no reason. She could sell it or return it and live off it the rest of her life. She also had a career on TV provided by her father and worked for years making good money. Her mother owes her nothing and Tori is full of it when she cries poor. She wastes money and it’s her own fault; she is too old to play the “I was raised rich” card.

The terrible thing is that, from the small amount of the show I’ve watched, Dean is actually pretty good with the kids (for all his other issues, he seems to be adept at caring for 4 small children). I can’t blame him for staying away, especially if she is infected with enterovirus.
As mean as it sounds, I feel like Tori would be one of those prime candidates for a somatic illness when she basically forces herself ill through stress and mental issues. I think it’s a way to keep Dean attached to her and to guilt him – now he’s even worse because their issues are driving poor Tori into an early grave. I’m starting to wish somebody would finally give her a slap like Cher did in Moonstruck – “Snap out of it!”

I don’t watch the show and don’t know much more about it other than what I’ve read on this site and what they say on E! news, but didn’t she pull some kind of hospital stunt last season too? Girl, if you’re well enough to take pictures of yourself ask for sharpies to decorate your face mask and tweet, then you’re well enough to go home. If I were Dean, I would have asked and paid extra for the extended “quarantine” package.

We will never know exactly what Papa Spelling said or wanted except for the wording of his will which was quite specific in his allowance for is children. Just perhaps, Candy is following Papa Spellings requests in terms of not giving money to Tori. Just maybe he didn’t want money going to the loser husband. And for reals… someone is giving them money, because they don’t make enough to support the lifestyle they live…
I’m really surprised to see all the bracelets right next to the hospital bands. Wouldn’t you normally have to take those off because they’re blocking access and interfering, if they need to get to her wrist. I just find it really strange she can stay completely adorned with unnecessary jewelry like that.

They are both wildly immature. Marrying someone after a one night stand is some teenager fantasy shit. The only couple I know in real life who went home together one night and then suddenly decided it was “real love” are the most discunctional married couple I know. Their marriage is not based on mutual values or goals or shared respect. It’s based on them bumping uglies one night and then deciding to live in fantasy land. It fell apart rather quickly after their wedding. Just reminds me so much of Tori and Dean.

I firmly believe if Candy gave Tori 2 million she would blow thru it in a week. 5 million in a month. 10 million in a year. There would never be enough money for her. Dean is a sleazeball who thought he hit the lotto. The Spellings put a stop to that. Tori will never divorce Dean because she loves being a victim. He’s not going anywhere because then he’d be stuck with astronomical child support.
I agree. That’s why I can’t understand why some people think Candy should support them. Tori went through her inheritance from her dad and while it wasn’t as much as she thought it would be, it was a considerable amount. She doesn’t know the meaning of budgeting and saving for a rainy day. Only knows how to put her disgusting life out there for anyone to see–even her kids. I feel bad for them! Yall, I will watch some trashy tv. I’ve seen very episode of every Housewives franchise, Honey Boo Boo was once my favorite program (r.i.p.) but last week, TV was slow and I decided to try True Tori from episode one. I got through the first fifteen minutes and threw the remote across the room. I CANNOT WITH HER BAD ACTING. Seriously damaged woman, with very serious mental problems. Also, physical. Have a sandwich. Grow up. Stop with the drama.

She attended her kid’s b-day party before she went into the hospital. It’s been said that Dean was there and so were a bunch of kids. It’s also been said that she was feeling ill during the party but didn’t want to miss out on it. Because she or whomever is putting out there that it might be Enterovirus, it was very irresponsible for her to show up sick around a bunch of children, especially since kids have recently died from this illness. Even if she didn’t know it was Enterovirus, she still shouldn’t have showed up sick. But Tori can’t be denied or restrained from anything, right?

Seeing as how she is in the hospital on a monthly basis, for everything from migraines to ebola, Im thinking this pic was taken in her house. I wouldnt put it past her to have a special “hospital” room set up in her basement for when she needs a new PR stunt. I used to like her and was able to look past her home wrecking ways but over the last year I have had enough of her and feel like she is whoring her poor family out to make a buck. None of them look happy, especially Liam. For some reason this whole cheating thing does not sit well with me. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m almost starting to feel ‘sorry’ for Dean. Well, in a schadenfreude sort of way.
If she exhausted herself by not eating or sleeping much, that would explain why she doesn’t look like someone hospitalized for an illness suspected to be enterovirus. She just might be really run down (self-inflicted but dangerous regardless) and they pulled her into the hospital to get some fluids and nutrients into her and to force bed rest. She is so thin that she doesn’t really have much reserves.
Tori Spelling is the product of the people who birthed her and raised her. Aaron and Candy Spelling. So, that being said, step back, for a moment, and consider the circumstances in which she was raised. The words “privileged”. “entitled”, and “spoiled”, I would submit, cannot even begin to even TRY to describe her childhood. Due to the circumstances of her raising, this poor creature has not been equipped to function in the real world, not even a tiny little bit. This girl never even had a scintilla of a shot at a normal life. So, fast forward to today. I cant be bothered to do a Google search, but I’m pretty certain that, beyond high school (or whatever “education” the on-set tutors provided to constitute a “high school education”,), there is NO education, whatsoever. Her entire marketable “skill set” consists exclusively of her time performing before a camera. Anyone who has seen anything she has performed in can clearly see that her acting skills are limited, at best. That being said, “reality” TV seems to be her only option for making a living. Those who say that Tori should “go get a real job”….well, while I kind of agree with the spirit of your comments, I must point out that, as a practical matter, that idea probably won’t work terribly well, in practice. With nothing more than a GED (which I am ASSUMING she MIGHT have) and a bit of “acting” experience as a “marketable skill”, exactly WHAT type of “real job” do you REALLY think that someone like Tori Spelling would be able to secure, much less actually perform satisfactorily? That being said, the burden of supporting her and her family and their lifestyle, lies SQUARELY on the shoulders on the surviving one of the very two individuals who CREATED this monster, Candy Spelling. Suck it up, Candy. This horrible creature is the product of YOUR awful “parenting.” Although she is just dreadful, I submit that there was probably ultimately no other possible outcome for her, other than the one that is playing out before us right now.
