Here are some fashion photos from the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Barbara Kruger and Quentin Tarantino. Jennifer Lopez went solo, how shocking. I didn’t even see any photos of Casper Smart sneaking in. I think she genuinely went to a big event by herself. Baby steps, y’all. Jennifer looked great, as always, although this is far from her most interesting look. It’s sort of boringly glamorous, efficiently pretty. I feel like her hair should be bigger? And she might need more jewelry.
Toni Garrn went solo – no Leonardo DiCaprio. I don’t even know if they’re still together. Toni reminds me of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in this Gucci gown – it’s pretty, but sort of unmemorable.
Evan Rachel Wood is a long-time Gucci girl, but this gown doesn’t do much for her. It’s very widow-y. I’m not feeling her current hair either. I’m surprised she didn’t bring her new girlfriend.
Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund are still together. Does that make you happy? I actually think Kiki would probably marry him if he asked. We’ll probably be seeing more of Garrett in the next few months because he’s got a decent part in Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken. As for Kiki’s look… I love the dress (simple, elegant) but I hate the hairstyle.
Dakota Johnson… this dress is probably Gucci. It’s pretty but beige on such a beige girl? Eh. The stripper shoes help zazz it up a bit.
Cara Delevingne in Gucci…she’s toning down the Angry Baby vibe. I’m not crazy about the dress though.

JLo’s hair does look a little flat but I think that she looks gorgeous and I love the inside of Cara Delevigne’s dress and her shoes. I think that Toni Garn looks great albeit slightly 80s and Kiki looks a wee bit frumpy, but I usually am not a fan of her red carpet style. Rachel Evan Wood usually opts for an art deco look but doesn’t really pull it off her. She doesn’t look terrible just not exactly great.
JLo looks beautiful & glamourous (I say this filled with envy as I just finish eating a boring salad for lunch and search for chocolate in the office …), and the rest are simply uninspiring.
JLo is a goddess. Period. The rest are ok.

The women in the light colored dresses look the best, IMO.
Never heard of Toni Garnn but WOW she looks stunning, the dress is classy and gorgeous.
J Lo looks fantastic – and as I am about to hit my mid-40s, I’m thrilled that there are women of my age who look that great. It makes me feel like this old horse may have a few kicks in her yet.
I think Jennifer looks beautiful, and it almost always think she looks tacky. I liked the slightly toned down (for her) look.
I agree, I think this suits her very well. She is beautiful and doesn’t need all the tacky fuss she usually goes for.

I think Leo was a co-host for this shindig a few years back – and he’s very tight with the Chows so Toni and Leo must still be together for her to have received an invite.

Dakota’s makeup. What is going on there?? The contouring, highlighting, and shading is all wrong and makes her face look like a mask with awkward eye holes cut out. This makes me actually kind of sad for her.
Love seeing Jennifers hair not pulled back for once. And I love the gown, the colour, the shimmer. She can still rock the exposed boobs without looking trashy. Love it.
