Idris Elba claims he & Tom Hiddleston filmed scenes for ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’

wenn21316283

Idris Elba gave an interview to The Telegraph at some point in the past week, I think. The Telegraph published the interview on Sunday and it caused fan-girls, Marvel nerds and Dragonflies to scream in delight/fear/lunacy. The piece is supposed to just be a profile of the state of Idris’s career these days, how he’s focusing a lot on his side project in music, how he loves working in London, etc. He’s quizzed about what projects he’s got coming out next and after he admits that he’s reading the script for Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur film, he dropped a bombshell about The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Is it true he’s “circling” Guy Ritchie’s mooted remake of King Arthur? “Rumour,” Elba says, his bassy, gravelly voice even lower in his chest than normal due to the fact that he’s flopped out horizontally on a couch. “Massive rumour, from out of nowhere.” But, for sure, he would like to work again with the “amazing” Ritchie, who directed him in 2008’s RocknRolla. And then he admits that he is in fact reading the script.

“Ironically, yesterday I had to…” Elba chuckles. He’s not meant to talk about this, but he clearly enjoys doing things he’s not meant to do. “I’m in Avengers,” he reveals. He means that his Thor character, deity-cum-sentry Heimdall, appears in Age of Ultron, the second instalment of the superhero ensemble franchise. “And I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth [who plays Thor] and Tom Hiddleston [Loki], and they’re like, [whispers] – ‘Aren’t you [meant to be] in Ibiza?’ ” That bassy chuckle again, followed by a frown. Elba came straight to Ibiza party-time from a mythical Norse god/Marvel universe that has made billions at the global box office. His head is all over the place. “That’s why I was p—– about my set yesterday. I really just wasn’t there. I was annoyed.”

[From The Telegraph]

Well well well. That might be one of the reasons why Tommy Hiddleston “went dark” for a while – he was working on what sounds like a nice cameo for Age of Ultron. He hasn’t tweeted anything since October 21 and he hasn’t been seen for a few weeks. He was taking part in some ultra-secret filming for Age of Ultron. Huzzah!

Allegedly, Hiddleston will not only be back for Thor: Ragnarok, but he’ll have some kind of part in The Avengers: Infinity Wars Part I and Part II. Does this mean Hiddles is going to be a Marvel Boy for the next six years? If so, I’m happy for him. He loves playing Loki, he loves working with Marvel and Marvel couldn’t have found a better company man. But you know the Marvel people are not happy AT ALL that Idris Elba let this particular cat out of the bag. Damn it, Dris.

  1. Abbott says:

Someone’s gonna be sitting in timeout with the marketing geniuses who leaked the trailer.

  2. LuluBelle says:

Such good actors wasting their talent in yet another Avengers/Marvel movie.

    • 'P'enny says:

I don’t know, I am sure the exposure and wages come in handy for them. From Hiddleston’s POV by the time he is 38 he could wrapped his five appearances up for Marvel. Not bad really, and his acting is respected in the films. So many actors [male or female] may filmed a 100 movies and never be remembered. I think some, not all of the Marvel films will be on permanent reply over Christmas holidays like SWars for eternity.

  3. Lilacflowers says:

What happened to the ball gag we gave Idris months ago? Who let him open his mouth? Idris is to be seen but not allowed to speak his thoughts.

As for Tommy, any filming for AOU would have been in June before High-Rise or after High-Rise in August. He’s in Shreveport now, working 15 hour days on ISTL.

    • Abbott says:

Those are some super specific details on Lord Dragonfly’s movements. Nicely done!

      • Lilacflowers says:

Lord Dragonfly has been a very busy, hard-working boy this year and this means FOUR full-length (as opposed to the shorts he pops up in but nobody pays attention) Lord Dragonfly movies for us next year.

      • icerose says:

The dragon fly patrol has been earning their stalking badge with Lilacflowers leading the way. Someone was tracking Hemsworth movements as well and came to the conclusion it was August @P’enny I always thought the advert looked UK based nut you could be right, One underground car park looks the same wherever you go, One of our stalkers should check the car plates.

    • 'P'enny says:

Hiddles went dark for a couple of weeks during the High Rise filming, rumours were they were filming in the studios somewhere away from the swimming pool set. It’s possible that rumours of him being prematurely finished on set was him going back to film a couple of days for Avengers.

But, my bet is he did this after his Bora Bora hols, sometime.

And, I still think he filmed a jaguar advert in Majorca, after Jaguar filmed David Beckham one there end of August.

Like you say Lord Dragonfly is a busy-bee.

      • M.A.F. says:

That is my guess. Did the cameo in June then High Rise in July.

      • Lilacflowers says:

I also think there’s another Jaguar ad because they have hinted about it rather a lot on Twitter and it will probably involve him and Nicholas Hoult

      • Dara says:

@ ‘P’enny – I’ve been having lessons from one of the Cumberbunnies who is on the Sophie Hunter Internet Tracking taskforce and have used the skills I’ve learned to narrow down the timeframe for the Avengers filming. I was going to mention the unfortunate acronym of her organization but it seemed it poor taste after all the help she provided.

Idris had 7 Saturdays in Ibiza this summer, July 12-Aug 23. The Telegraph article even mentions they were chatting after the 4th Saturday and the scene had just finished the day before. That puts filming on or around Aug 1.

      • Catherine says:

As Dara says the interview with Idris was in August, during his Ibiza residency, so must have been a day or two release from the High Rise shoot. IIRC that was the w/end after SDCC.

      • icerose says:

@lilacflowers I am sure there is another coming. Tom tweweted all would be explained after the little nerdy guy had his Bond moment.

      • 'P'enny says:

wow I’m impressed clever peeps! ‘hugs’

      • Lilacflowers says:

@Dara, that is quite the hilarious acronym!

      • Dara says:

@Lilac – thanks! I’ve been trying to work out another one that might work as an alternative – how about Florals United in Cumberbatch Kibitzing? That has a nice ring and the abbreviation would be, let’s see… F-U-C… oh crap. Back to the drawing board then.

      • Lilacflowers says:

        @Dara, that’s a good one too!

  4. Mia4S says:

If Idris vanishes for a few days no one panic; Marvel’s just taking him for reprogramming.

  5. kri says:

Idris in King Arthur? Can I buy a ticket now?

    • Mia4S says:

Be careful what you wish for…Guy Ritchie is directing. 😉

    • joe spider says:

If Idris plays King Arthur (No problems to me) then the politically correct v, historically correct brigade are going to have a battle! 🙂

    • mom2two says:

Idris did AMA on reddit not long ago and said he is not in King Arthur. He, is however, filming a movie called Bastille Day in Paris with Richard Madden (Robb Stark, Game of Thrones)…a movie that I will be seeing opening day with the two them in it.

  6. Sixer says:

I don’t count Idris as appearing in those Marvel tishtoshes. You can’t see him properly, so what’s the point? My question is this: WHAT ABOUT THE LUTHER FILM?

    • Lilacflowers says:

Are they planning a Luther film? That would be great.

    • Sixer says:

There have been rumours and remarks. I need action!

    • 'P'enny says:

Better be better than the last series with Sienna Guillory, bring back Ruth or else.

      • icerose says:

@P’enny She of the infamous High Rise tweets. has just been nominated for a British Independent Film supporting actress award..

Benny is up against Spalding AND Jack O’connel who was in 71 and two others

Best Film nominations Pride Turner Imitation Game 71, Calfary

But the Imitation Game is trailing in nominations behind 71 ( 9 )Pride(7) Turner (5)

And Andrew Scott gets a supporting actor nomination for Pride yea! but is up against Fassy in Frank

    • icerose says:

a Luther film would be great but I would be just as happy with a series

      • joe spider says:

I watched a couple of episodes and the whole premise that someone like Luther would be able to remain a serving police officer struck me as so daft I stopped watching.

      • icerose says:

@Joe Spider but whe an episode works it is sitting on the edge of your seat stuff.Since watching the serial killer in the attic I refuse to go up their after dark.

  7. Lahdidahbaby says:

Idris, I want to meet you in a tea room on the Rive Gauche and ply my over-ripe charms upon you beneath the dark blue linen tablecloth while reciting the closing lines of Molly Bloom’s Soliloquy again and again, yes I say, yes I say, yes.

  8. 'P'enny says:

I’ve moaned my head off about this in the other threads and on twitter. so all I am going to say is, the wig in the photo behind Mark R head had very long hair. End of shoulder blades length. Roll on May 2015 for a cameo, still be worth it.

    • Lilacflowers says:

Apparently, Asgardians never cut their hair. They’ll lose strength or something.

      • 'P'enny says:

He’s not Asgardian, :-p he’s just having a hair-length -off with Thor. There is a great Lego-Loki with very long hair on twitter, somewhere in her archives.

I hope it has some curls in it 🙂

    • joe spider says:

If it keeps getting longer, he will be tripping over it by the time his contract is completed.

It is his hair I’m talking about! 😉

      • Lilacflowers says:

        Of course you were.

      • 'P'enny says:

@joe spider Does he have moljinir in his pants and its so big he will fall over?

      • joe spider says:

        @ ‘P’enny

You may ask that, I couldn’t possibly answer!! 😉

      • Lilacflowers says:

My DVDs of Unrelated and Archipelago arrived today. I’m going to spend the next few hours in exhaustive study of swimming scenes and clothes-changing scene.

      • joe spider says:

Good luck with that Lilacflowers, I found it so embarrassing I couldn’t watch it.

Because of the storyline, not the swimming clothes-changing scenes. 🙂

  9. Charlotte says:

Can someone please make Idris/Tom photos/fanfic /love/reality happen right now??? Please????

    • icerose says:

Apart from the fact that I dislike real person fiction it could work for me. However my preference it would be a remake Of Guess Who id Coming To Dinner with Kenneth Brannagh and Helen Mirren as Tom’s parents.

      • Lilacflowers says:

I recently saw a delightful theatrical version of that with grown up Cosby kid Malcolm Jamaal Warner and Julia Duffy

  10. serena says:

I love Tom and I really hope he’s gonna stick with Loki for a while!

  11. TTMuch says:

Hiddles AND Idris ???? And it’s not even my birthday!! This site ROCKS!

  12. Leah says:

I kinda love Idris for giving Marvel the finger on this one. Still, it would have been a great reveal to have Heimdall and Loki say “surprise b*tch” to Thor and to the audience. It does make sense to have a small scene or an end credits with the Odinson brothers to help set up Thor 3.

On twitter there was some grumbling that Tom lied about not being in Age of Ultron. And can we trust him about anything? Such a sense of entitlement some of his fans have about him! I think he probably wasn’t going to be in AOU when last he was interviewed last year. Since then minds have changed and he probably had little decision in the matter.

    • 'P'enny says:

crikey the some fans need to get some serious perspective, of course he lied, so did Joss Wheden, Stephen Moffatt, and the whole crew involved in high-level geek operations. What do they expect them to say, Tom fudged about the extra shoots last year. He’s under contract and it’s what he has to do.

arrrrrgh bangs hammer on their heads.

    • joe spider says:

It is quite possible that when Tom said he wasn’t going to be in it he was telling the truth as he knew it. It is quite possible he was only told to “report for duty” just before the scene was due to be filmed if Idris is telling the truth now.

    • Lilacflowers says:

Firstly, he probably didn’t know at the time and secondly, they have non-disclosure terms in their contracts. Third, why do they need to be able to believe him? He is not their boyfriend and owes them nothing

    • koko says:

Some of these Twitter people, honestly get a life. I don’t know if he “lied” about not being in AOU or not, don’t care. But to go around believing the man never “lies” or needs to atone for lying is ridiculous. He is not the Disney Prince, he’s just a man, who probably occasionally does not tell the truth.

    • icerose says:

he may have not known to the last minute and what was he suppose to do -take the 5th amendment. It happens all the time especially if there are rumours about characters dying.
I am just curious to know if Marvel will let Idriss get away with it or make him an example to others who are tempted to do the same thing.

    • Lilacflowers says:

      It works! Thanks!

    • Camil says:

Elizabeth Olsen looks so beautiful and Tom… OMG (faint)

    • icerose says:

he looks chunkier in that photo and yes Elizabeth looks lovely.
There is a blog on tumblr by someone who is an extra and will be attending the concert scenes over the next few days -lucky girl but she seems to have some idea that she will get to talk to him which is probably wishful thinking

    • icerose says:

I keep getting posts in the wrong place
he may have not known to the last minute and what was he suppose to do -take the 5th amendment. It happens all the time especially if there are rumours about characters dying.

  13. Allegra says:

There is a new pic of Tom and the cast(ISTL) :
    https://twitter.com/tomschesthairs/status/529256248219561984
    They look great!

  14. Someonestolemyname says:

Idris and Chris Hemsworth need to call me. 🙂

    Gorgeous.

  15. Arya Martell says:

While having a black Heimdal is great, Marvel really screwed up an excellent oppotunity to have Idris be Black Panther. Just sayin.

  16. joe spider says:

If Idris has spilt beans, against contract, and moaned about Marvel filming not only will it not endear him to Marvel but it may cause a few raised eyebrows with other potential producers mayn’t it?

    • icerose says:

It also means they can sue him if they choose.

    • Lilacflowers says:

Yes, it sends a message that he’s not a team player. So many films/tv shows take such care with keeping plot details secret and having people sign non-disclosure agreements that they’ll now question whether he is worth the risk. Marvel clearly wanted that to be a complete surprise or it would have included the two of them in the cast list. And Marvel could still choose not to use the footage. It wouldn’t be the first time they edited out Heimdall or Loki scenes.

    • 'P'enny says:

mmmi give it 24 hours & we’ll see if Idris tweets an apology.

i find it a bit unnerving that Marvel and Marvel UK official twitter pages have not retweeted or commented on this leak at all. Ryan Pendergoss, Joss Whedon and Chris Yost have said nothing, and neither has any of the other Avengers cast tweeted anything and RDJ always Facebooking something these days.

And on twitter this evening two Journalists, inc Chris Hewitt, from Empire magazine were funny, they said that Marvel are playing paper, scissors and infinity stone to decided who should go and tell Idris off. They are not amused with Idris either.

like i say, interesting to say if Idris apologies or if this is some hopeful way for a sacking so he can concentrate on Pacific Rim and it’s sequels.

      • joe spider says:

In that case it would serve him right if they called him back for further shoots.

      • icerose says:

If you sign a confidentiality contract and break it they can also go after you financially, i have signed two where employment was not the issue, Basically the inference was they can demand a monetary penalty. Ironically one of my contracts said I was not suppose to reveal what the contents were and that I had signed one.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Marvel is probably hoping it will blow over quickly. They’ve got a special about the MCU airing tomorrow night on TV in place of Agents of SHIELD and are probably counting on that to distract attention. None of the other actors will comment at all. It’s an employer-employee situation between Marvel and Idris.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Not that any of them would ever say anything but it would be interesting to hear what the other actors have to say about his issues. Others have voiced their problems with Marvel before (Chris E, Chris H, Natalie P.) but out of the very large group of actors they have assembled, many of whom have award-winning backgrounds, they’ve lost very few (Josh Charles because of a scheduling conflict with the parent company, Terrence Howard for whatever reason, and Edward Norton for being Edward Norton). None of the grumblings have been similar to Idris’. He seems to have two problems: the first being that he deems himself worthy of greater things having played Mandela so he shouldn’t have to stoop to being a comic book character — I doubt that will sit well with Ben Kingsley, Academy Award winner for Ghandi and a Marvel actor, or other Academy Award winners on the Marvel payroll like Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Gwyneth, Jeff Bridges, Michael Douglas, Tommy Lee Jones, or the many with Oscar nominations like RDJ, Ruffalo, Cheadle, Rourke, Jackson, Glenn Close, John C. Reilly. Secondly, he’s complaining about how he doesn’t like to do wire work and how hard it is. The scene in which he did wire work was a spectacular scene for hm and he did most of the stunt work himself, when Feige himself says in the film commentary he could have had a stunt double do most of it AND Chris Hemsworth had specifically asked that they all do more wire work in TDW because the first one felt too grounded for Asgardian gods.

      • joe spider says:

        @ Lilacflowers

re wirework – hasn’t Tom said he loves doing wirework and does as many of his own stunts as he can/is allowed. There is one funny clip where he does a 30ft leap as Loki with sceptre and he is laughing and fooling around at finish.

      • Lilacflowers says:

@joe spider, yes, he really seems to enjoy it and the other physical parts of the job. Every Marvel gag reel has featured him in the stunt rigging.

  17. joe spider says:

If Idris and Tom are in a post credits it must mean Thor goes back to Asgard mustn’t it?

    • Dara says:

Are we sure it’s post-credits? Could it be a brief flashback or flashforward within the movie itself? Not sure I care where/when/why – just glad there will be a snippet of Loki still to come.

  18. Dancinnancy says:

I love Idris and I’m a loud and proud dragonfly – but I’m really tired of nothing being a surprise anymore. I loved Thanos popping out at the end of the Avengers (although Hiddles leaked that too). But how amazing would it have been to have that scene out of nowhere?

    • jammypants says:

He didn’t leak the Thanos scene. The movie already came out by then.

    • icerose says:

well it was more of a geeky accident with Hiddles and it was while it was showing in London.
It was pretty deliberate with Idriss. i think he was pissed of with al the extra shooting especially after Thor 2 because he had to come back mid Mandella.
Still I kind of like his balls at giving Marvel the thumb. Those credit scenes are their party pieces.

    • Isadora says:

And thankfully Hiddleston immediately deleted the tweet after he accidentally leaked the Thanos appearance. Of course nothing gets really deleted on the internet, but at least he tried and it’s not in an official interview and on every film website as a headline.

    • 'P'enny says:

that tweet was really funny, because he said the woman in front just had an orgasim and it led to funny exchange with someone. Can’t remember now, it was kind of before my hiddle-following days.

      • Dancinnancy says:

Maybe the Thanos thing was a bad comparison, but I’m pretty sure the UK release was before the US. I read it as a spoiler.

And you’re right IceRose – it is their schtick, so I’m surprised Idris would give it away…

      • icerose says:

Someone ticked him off for using the word orgasm and he asked why and said “it’s a marvelous word for a marvelous thing.”
At which point my thoughts went downhill

That was back in the days when He also replied to a pic of a Loki helmet on a bed saying “”Someone’s feeling horny in bed”

He was a funny boy back then and so naive.

  19. icerose says:

Programme on the Tshirt tonight and Fawcett is making a statement tomorrow. Apparently it was inaccurate

  20. Lilacflowers says:

Jaguar is sending out teaser tweets again. This time showing the car Mark Strong was driving and the helicopter and asking if people remember the car being followed by Tom in the helicopter.

    • 'P'enny says:

There are so naughty – do u think that they may release new one for thanksgiving? You have big football thing then ?

      • Lilacflowers says:

Thanksgiving football is primarily focused on schoolboy football and town rivalries but the NFL does usually broadcast at least two games, one in Detroit and another in Dallas. Big parades in NY gets televised too so those are possibilities

  21. joe spider says:

Off topic-ish but I’m sure you will enjoy this interview with Anthony Mackie.

This is how to complain about wire work Idris:

    http://www.laineygossip.com/Idris-Elba-reveals-cameo-with-Tom-Hiddleston-in-Avengers-Age-Of-Ultron/31729

    • Allegra says:

I just watched it. Wow, really scary!
Being a stuntman on the action movie is not easy, they risk their lives and still earn little.
      So Idris, stop complaining!

    • Intro Outro says:

😀 Mackie is so funny and humble in this bit. Awesome attitude. Natalie Portman could definitely do with taking a leaf out of his book.

As for Idris – I just read the interview and man did he come off unprofessional to me =/ Not cool at all.

  22. Allegra says:

About Muse of Fire , they add more interviews. Here is the link:

  23. Allegra says:

Have you seen the new pics of Tom behind the scenes of Out of Darkness that Torrilla posted?
Wow, the guy is skinny, but pretty athletic!
    http://torrilla.tumblr.com/post/101760486870/tom-hiddleston-behind-the-scenes-of-out-of

    • Camil says:

The second photo is marvellous, he looks so comfortable and happy listening the indications. And his eyes! Like a little boy with a new toy 😀

  24. Allegra says:

I got these 2 from my feed. Possible spoiler, so if you don´t want know, don´t click it, ok?
The first one came from AMC movie news and they talk about how Elba and Tom will be in Avengers:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nATvAIEYapU

  25. Ellen says:

Here’s a question; on Brits Stats on twitter it says “Neil won’t come no matter how many times Tom Hiddleston shouts for him” what am I missing? Who’s Neil? Is this a British thing?

    • joe spider says:

Judging by the other tweets on that twitter page it is just a silly wind up because none of the other tweets are anything other than silly other than silly.

It is no British thing that I know of.

    • Leah says:

Because Tom as Loki tells people to “KNEEL” really loud which sounds like Neil. Ha ha. Is this thing on?!

  26. joe spider says:

Interview with Joss Whedon in which Idris Elba’s boo boo is mentioned:

    http://www.vulture.com/2014/11/joss-whedon-on-feminism-and-the-avengers-leaks.html?mid=imdb

  27. TotallyBiased says:

okay, y’all know I’m the total Hiddlestoner–just look at my name!
But this is a necessart Cumber-bomb: HAVE YOU SEEN THE TIMES AD! Supposedly announcing the engagement of BC and one Miss S I Hunter?

    • Lilacflowers says:

The Guardian has picked it up too. Best wishes for them. No, he’s not Oscar campaigning.

  28. Allegra says:

The news is Luke W. left Public Eye.
Do you think Tom will follow him or stay?
    https://twitter.com/Debsloth1/status/530016942145695744

    • joe spider says:

Thought thread would be closed so I did an off-topic on Jessica’s thread to start a new one for tom on this subject. I do hope he doesn’t follow Luke, hope he stays with the firm but with another person.

It’s not that long since Luke changed his twitter description to Director of Public Eye, so wonder what happened.

      • Allegra says:

I´m not Jessica´s fan , so I only posted one comment there.
It’s kind of tiring to hear her repeat the same stuff over and over again: not want to date actors and need a rest after Crimson Peak.
So back to Tom, I wonder what made Luke quite his job and get his own agency too.
I noticed on one thing, he became closer to Emma W. and Douglas B. Many fans noticed that was present in her speech during the campaign #HeforSHe.
I think he would not have dared to leave his job, if he was not sure that some clients would follow him. I sincerely hope that Tom has decided to follow another path.

    • joe spider says:

“somewhere” else it is being mooted that Tom has annoyed his PR team ( team? Luke?) Probably just scuttlebut but perhaps Luke was upset he didn’t take Ben Hur. Or that Tom hasn’t been seen with him since the Oliviers I believe.

      • Allegra says:

I hope this make sense, ok?
It is hard to believe that Tom and Luke have not kept in touch since April.
I don´t know it is true or not, but someone from Bangor tweeted a message saying that Tom´s manager was visiting the set. There is no evidence of this visit, however just after , Luke started following Sienna G or her husband.
I don´t know if a PR agency have the power to influence a client’s decision whether to accept a role some movie. Maybe a Talent Agency does. But you can tell that they worked hard to sell the ideia of Tom playing this role, even after he passed it( remember that guy from variety?). I guess they thought they can make Tom´s mind and learned the hard way that is not the case. Our boy knows what kind roles he wants to play.
To be honest , I don´t like the way Luke works. So, Tom should drop him.

      • Lilacflowers says:

Tom hasn’t done any PR since a few telephone interviews last March/April when Pixie Hollow, OLLA, Muppets, and Exhibition were released, and the few red carpet interviews he did at the Oliviers so why would he need a PR person with him? And Luke would play no role in the decision-making of what film or theater or television parts Tom takes. He has agents for that.

      • joe spider says:

That’sa bit my point Lilacflowers, perhaps Luke thought he had more influence that he had.

      • jammypants says:

@Lilac, yea I think a lot of fans are confused at what Luke does. He’s PR. He has no role whatsoever in Tom securing roles.

    • loki&hiddles says:

Tom isn’t listed anymore on Public Eye’s website, while Luke’s Prosper PR facebook page liked Tom’s, Emma Watson’s and Douglas Booth’s. Tom is following Luke.

      • Allegra says:

        Wow! Nor Emma or Douglas.
They must mad of Luke because he got the most important client.
By the way, do you have the link ?
I tried but couldn´t find the facebook page.

      • loki&hiddles says:

@ Allegra this is Prosper PR address
        http://www.prosperpr.uk/

just click on the fb icon. The twitter icon links you to Luke’s account.

      • Allegra says:

        I got it now. Thanks!
Gosh, looking the pics there, it seems that he got another talents from his former
agency. So, all i have to say is good luck for all of them!

    From Wrenn Schmidt:
-” big love to all the folks who made it special @twhiddleston…”
    – “that’s a wrap on #bobbijett! #isawthelight ”

What? Is she already finish her part in the movie?

    • Lilacflowers says:

Bobbi Jett was only around for a short time towards the end of Hank Williams’s life. They had a brief affair, which resulted in pregnancy, but it ended when he met Billie. So, her role would be small and probably wouldn’t take long to film.

    No Socks!! 😀
Chelsea Crowell is Rodney and Roseanne Cash’ daughter. She’s a photographer as well as a singer/songwriter. Bet she has an amazing collection of pictures from the last few months!

    • Lilacflowers says:

Today’s Boston Globe has an interview with Roseanne Cash discussing the books she has been reading. Roseanne is currently really, really, really into all things Shakespeare.

      • TotallyBiased says:

Hmmmm…..perhaps she’s been visiting her ex over the last few months. Or getting glowing reports from her daughter. 🙂

  35. TotallyBiased says:

And am I the only one sort of hiding out here until the BC threads are less like carrying a tray of quail eggs across a trampoline using only two fingers? No??
Okay, just wondering. I heard Lilacflowers has an open bar going, I’m just not sure I’m up to the trek to get there. 🙂

    • Allegra says:

      I won´t lie, i went there a few times.
First they were mad of BC and Sophie, then in denial and now they came with some conspiracy teories.
It is a mess, but also so funny!

    • Lilacflowers says:

No need to trek: Colin and Mark will deliver. What would you like?

      • TotallyBiased says:

        @Lilacflowers!
        Now that’s what I call service 😉
Hmmm–I heard Colin does a mean Oldfashioned. Perhaps a pitcher?

      • TotallyBiased says:

I did just take a peek at the numbers: more than 2000 comments on the combined posts over about five days?! That’s…a lot. 🙂
Anyway, Lilacflowers, if you stick your stamen in here again, I could really use your help.
In all the excitement, I’ve failed to keep up with the CB terminology–could you PLEASE explain to me about The Potato?
Thank you, and blessings on your NOBLE efforts to keep everyone hydrated and soothed!

      • Lilacflowers says:

@TotallyBiased, did Colin get the pitcher of Old Fashions to you? “The Potato” is none other than Channing TATUM.

      • TotallyBiased says:

Oh, my. Do I feel like a total spud, or what? Can’t even blame the Old Fashions, I hadn’t started on them yet (though Colin DOES have a bit of a heavy hand with the pour there, doesn’t he? NO complaints. 😀 )

    From Dave:
“Long day on set today, but it was fun. Tom H. came over and introduced himself to a few people when he had the chance. Plus, he gave us one hell of a concert all day and night long. One hell of an actor and person.”

    How cool is that?
