Here ^^ is a new photo Jessa Duggar/Seewald posted to her Instagram over the weekend. Another “kiss” photo, only this one is much more chaste and holy than that trampy, unclean one from last week, when Jessa tried to put Lucifer’s tongue into her new husband’s mouth. NOPE. Never Again!! From here on out, there will only be chaste eyebrow kisses, thank you very much. Ben Seewald is still very unsettled by everything that happened: the harlot’s tongue, the wedding night, and those heathen rumors that he and Jessa consummated their marriage in the backroom of a church. For the record, no Duggar or Seewald has explicitly denied anything. But Jessa did post this to her Instagram:
So, Jessa isn’t going to make us pay for laughing at the idea that a harlot Duggar girl would try to French her new husband and make him cry. She’s going to just let God take this one. God will punish us! Yeah… I have a whole list of stuff that I’m going to be punished for, so let’s just add this to the pile. Plus, my new happy place is imagining Ben’s face when Jessa tried to get him to touch her boobs.
Meanwhile, remember the Original Harlot/Unclean Kiss photo last week? Jessa’s parents, Michelle and Jim-Bob Duggar, decided to recreate it. Jessa posted this IG photo with the message: “My parents texted me this picture! This year marks 30 years of marriage, and they’re still in that “honeymoon” stage! It’s great to see older married couples still so madly in love! I love you Mom & Dad! @duggarfam.” Hork.

Lol, I had a special retainer type thing in middle school that would bring my bottom jaw forward. I always FELT like that’s what it made my face look like, though it barely changed my jaw position at all.

I keep staring at her chin. I didn’t notice until you pointed it out, and now I can’t unsee. It makes me wonder if they photoshopped it a little and made a mistake. What must her skull look like if her jaw sticks that far out?
That’s what’s so distracting Amy – I’ve never noticed her chin before & in that photo it’s center stage as “The Joker”.

That’s exactly what I thought. Dad needs to be sure the focus is on him. I never watch their show because these people make me sick to my stomach but I watched a clip someone had posted about Jessa and her parents going on a double date. Her father’s behavior was so vile and repulsive to me. He was making it clear that his daughter and fiancee (or boyfriend at that point?) were to let her parents know exactly what type of physical contact they would be having while at the same time Jim-Bob made sexual innuendos to his wife repeatedly in front of them. It was gross. So much male dominance and territory marking. Ugh.
Well, he’s been king of his own little dominion for so long, what do you expect? It’s natural for fathers to try to assume the “alpha male” position around their daughter’s suitors, so now add in the fact that he does in fact reign supreme in his family and this is what you get. “I own you. And her. And her. Don’t forget.”
I unfortunately watch and yes he runs the show but it really is all about Michelle. He is much more involved with the kids and shows way more warmth than she does.
They are all so gross. I try not to watch because they gross me out, it’s like a dirty secret. I quit sneak watching the Kardashians so I can quit these idiots
Ugh, yes. If the original picture had been something cute, like they were wearing matching T-shirts or making silly faces, then I wouldn’t care if the parents copied them. But this is just weird: “Hey honey, let’s kiss and take a picture just like our daughter did!”
On another note, it makes me sad that Michelle actually had a fun life before she got married, but it’s obviously not going to happen for her daughters.

Remember that episode where they gave Michelle D a makeover (ie. cut & straightened her hair) and she actually looked good but she just absolutely hated it? Only the best crunchy 80s curls for that woman.
Didn’t she say she hated the makeover because Jim Bob wouldn’t like it? I want my fella to find me fetching, but I can’t imagine totally setting aside my preferences in favor of what a man wants me to look like. Nope nope nope.
Lol, right!? There’s things I’ve told my husband I was going to do to my hair over the years and he’s kind of like side-eyed it because he was concerned about how it’d turn out. But he’d never outright say he didn’t think it was a good idea haha. But after getting it done, every time he was like “oh wow – that’s actually really nice” or something like that that made it obvious that he didn’t think it would originally.
I just googled, and wow. She’s really attractive without the poodle look. How can she not see that?

Jim Bob and Michelle are creepy. Oddly enough I find Michelle creepier than her husband. There’s something in her eyes that I find very scary.
I agree. At least Jim-Bob does seem to genuinely care about his children. Michelle only cares about being pregnant and newborn babies. Once they are out of the baby stage, she doesn’t seem to really want anything to do with them.

I feel like I have WAY too much information about their intimate affairs, which makes me very uncomfortable. They talk so much about their sexual practices (or lack thereof) that we all know EXACTLY what they’re doing. Isn’t that the opposite of modesty? I haven’t known so much about other people’s sex lives since highschool when everything was all new and exciting and everyone wanted to talk about it.
It’s really, really, icky. To me, it says, “Thinking about our daughter having sex really turns us on!”

I don’t even like these people but I do think it’s sweet. I know enough couples who are married only a few years and they’ve lost any spark they ever had, and don’t even try for basic affection. The kisses shown here are pretty tame and nothing more than you’d see at many weddings, no open mouths, etc. My dad still pats my mom on the rump when he comes home after being gone and kisses the back of her neck. I used to tell them to “get a room” but after being married for 16 years myself, I treasure the times my husband and I still feel that way. <3
That said, I don't have an instagram account, nor do my parents, so I'm not sure how I feel about sharing it with the world, but it certainly doesn't make me hork.

I agree. Normally it would be sweet. I love seeing older couples holding hands in public and what not. But this is the Duggar family. Everything has an agenda and these people are not sweet.

Completely agree with you Darlene, I think it’s kinda sweet. I don’t agree with their lifestyle but at least they seem like a loving couple after all these years. The few episodes I’ve seen I noticed they talk to each other about everything and make decisions together, I always assumed he was in control of her before I watched.

Huh, it’s the differences between the photos that interests me. I have a strong feeling that Jessa is the alpha in that relationship, whereas we all know that JimBob is the alpha in his marriage.
In Jessa’s photo she looks like the active person in charge and Ben looks passive and yielding. Notice his head tilt? Also, how his front shoulder rolls forward?
Whereas with her parents, even when they are trying to exactly copy the positions, JimBob doesn’t give an inch, and somehow Michelle manages to look weak.

I watched exactly one episode of this show, and it happened to be the one with the dry-hump on the mini golf course. The dad just creeped me out completely. And the way Michelle reacted to Jill’s accidental half-front hug with her boyfriend. Both the parents give me chills. I like the kids though.
Lol, I just watched that episode over the weekend and JimBob really surprised me with the mock humping on the golf course, made me feel all weird inside. But, I think the dry humping is somewhat normal? A few guys that I’ve dated over the years thought it was hilarious and would do it anytime the opportunity presented itself. My best friend told me her husband does it all the time too, and unfortunately I’ve seen it happen with other friends, think it’s a weird guy thing, but doing it on national tv is just gross.

Jim Bob and Michelle have to make everything about them. It’s like they can’t stand that their daughters are getting some attention. At the other daughter’s wedding, Michelle had HER wedding dress there on display…at the wedding reception!! Who does that?! And now this. I don’t find it cute, I find it creepy that these two constantly seem to need all the attention focused on them. These girls deserve their own special stuff without their parents trying to steal their thunder.

Jessa’s husband gives me the creepy crawlies. If he is sort of asexual or timid about sex (speculating), how is this going to work? I mean, how are they going to have the requisite 10-20 kids that this lifestyle requires? I feel bad for Jessa. They are way to young to have committed to this insanity.

The mother and father in particular. The way the girls talk in the confessional while they’re courting or engaged, it’s as if they can barely contain their temptation. They’re only engaged for five minutes then spend the rest of their life with their legs open so they can create 20 more just like them. Jill got pregnant on her honeymoon. She and her husband never got to have the honeymoon period….the fun part. I’m pregnant, praise Jesus. Just look at your mother with her dead, teased hair in the same ugly blouse and skirt assigning one child to watch the other and realize that’s going to be you.

I was a little surprised that Jessa posted the picture of her and Ben kissing but then again she seems like she’s a bit of a rebel and she definitely wears the pants in THAT relationship. But seeing that picture of JB and Michelle is just gross. It’s not like we don’t know they KISS and have SEX, they have 19 kids…but enough is enough. It’s time to cut the cords, Michelle and JB, you have NO business in your married daughters sex life. No where. Gross.
