I don’t know. I think it’s just the angle and she’s sucking in her checks. There is a slight difference in make-up between the two and hair tucked behind the ears…plus they never were identical. One always looked a bit different than the other.
I dunno. Fraternal twins – as they claim to be – don’t look any more alike than any other siblings. They’ve always looked more alike than non-twin siblings. I mean, they played the same character on tv for 8 seasons (I googled that, not a personal expert on full house). Since they were cast as babies, there was a risk of fraternal twins growing up looking different from each other – so why wouldn’t producers have sought identical twins instead? I’m just saying, I’ve always doubted the claim that they aren’t identical.
You make a good point. Why did the producers not cast identical twins? I’ve always saw a slight difference between the two. To be honest, the difference was more obvious to me as they got older…as toddlers I couldn’t tell them apart.
But even identical twins look different. I think the producers probably thought they looked alike enough and were only going to be on the show as very small children. When casting kids, their ability to speak and their temperament is most important.

Nope I grew up wirh fraternal twins who looked pretty much identical – most couldn’t tell them apart. Just as I know non twin siblings who are practically identical. What does ‘as they claim to be’ mean…….? Why would they lie about that?
I think, if anything, she now looks more similar to her sister Elizabeth.

Yeah, I went to school with two sets of fraternal twins that I thought we’re identical initially. The older they have gotten though the more they look different.
I agree that it looks like she’s sucking in her cheeks. This shot could have been taken while she was making a face. Also this is the only photo I’ve seen of her. It’s odd that at a red-carpet event there aren’t any more photos.

I agree it somthing off with her mouth and/or cheek maybe even her chin I just can’t put my finger on it. I don’t think it the makeup or hair because that’s the norm for her, she had that same look in many red carpets pictures.

her cheekbones and jaw look like they’ve been changed to give her a different shape to her face. to me, it looks like she tweaked her face to look more like Elizabeth (maybe b/c she thought it’d make her look younger?) but she landed somewhere between the faces of her sisters and now looks much older
This is the problem with having a twin – even though they’re technically non-identical – any work you have done is suddenly much more obvious!!

Looks like fillers above the cheeks. Ashleys eyes have a drop in fullness under the eye (which is normal) before the curve of the cheek pops, MK goes from eye lid directly into cheek: one angle, no curve.
They did better to have the same lip injections and nose jobs. Less obvious as they stand next their mirror.

Me too, but depending on the person. From close people who know me enough to buy me something I’d buy myself, I expect an actual present. I expect (and prefer) gift cards from the people who don’t know me that well.
They both started getting work done on their faces (corners of mouth lifted) when they were barely 20. No surprise that they continue getting work done.

Cheek fillers, several nose jobs, greasy hair, bad makeup, a history of smoking and doing drugs, and dating a 44-year-old man who looks like he’s in his 60s will do that to you, I guess. I used to love them when I was growing up.
So glad you posted this I can’t figure it out either. Is it possible she had some work done on her teeth or veneers and it’s messed up her bite causing her jaw/chin to stick out a bit?
Different presentation. That’s all. One is wearing make up you can see whilst the other one is wearing ‘no make up’ make up AND she’s darkened her hair which also apears to be several days’ blow out.
I can finally tell them apart though they’d have to stick to this presentation of themselves!!
I disagree…Mary-Kate has often gone natural or less makeup than her sister. Something is different in her face structure…she looks way more androgynous than she ever has in the past. Check out photos from a year ago…
Would it kill them to smile…with their teeth? They would both be so much prettier. They look extra morbid and old with those drawn up pursed lips. Blech! Instead they just look unhappy and miserable all the time.
One of them is looking 25. Other one looks like she is 35. Super weird.
Her face is super tight, it’s like she got completely unnecessary botox. That doesn’t bode well for how she’s going to look in the future. And that hair is not doing her any favours, either. Edit: She’s definitely got fillers in her cheeks for reasons that elude me.
It’s the lower part of her face that looks different to me, like if there were such a procedure as getting your jaw extended forward. Anyhow, I do hope the different look isn’t the result of any type of weight loss and that she is happy enough.
The Olsen on the left looks like the Madam Tussaud’s version of the one on the right…….close, but no cigar.
The noses are definitely different. One is longer and thinner at the tip.
I’ve never been able to tell one from the other, but I never really tried either. I do think that the one on the left (mary-kate, I guess) looks sad or depressed, mainly because she looks unwashed. My mother would have given me so much hell if my hair ever looked like that!
