Katy Perry’s boyfriend Diplo is still shading Taylor Swift & Lorde on Twitter

wenn21320468

This whole thing started when Taylor Swift decided she didn’t want to merely write blind-item songs about ex-boyfriends and set about writing a blind-item song about Katy Perry. To Taylor’s way of thinking, Katy Perry was and is a Mean Girl who tried to destroy her (Taylor’s) tour by “stealing” some dancers (dancers who actually preferred to work with Katy). There was probably a dash of John Mayer drama in there too, plus Katy and Taylor just have a personality clash, I suppose. In any case, Taylor let it be known that she doesn’t care for Katy, and Katy let it be known that she thinks Taylor is the real Mean Girl. It was all very petty and stupid and junior high school.

And then it got taken to a new level last week, when Katy’s boyfriend (??) Diplo threw some major shade at Taylor Swift. Diplo started tweeting “Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty.” He kept tweeting about it and all of the Swift-loonies trolled him online and called him out for body-shaming Taylor (which he did). Taylor’s friend Lorde also got into it, tweeting: “@diplo should we do something about your tiny p-nis while we’re at it hm.” Which… I mean, if we’re going to go for a full-on high school cat-fight, I guess Lorde wins. So of course Diplo couldn’t let Lorde get the last word.

Diplo has now kicked off round three, retweeting Lorde’s comment on Saturday, and adding in parentheses, “the moment u realize she’s a high school student.” He went on to share a photoshopped image making it look like Swift had tweeted “Taylor’sAss is trending!!” which, of course, she didn’t, along with his own comment of “You go girl.”

Further referring to Lorde’s comment and his previous diss of Swift’s fans, Diplo tweeted, “Disappointed the swift boat veterans didn’t get my tiny d*ck a fundly going (enlarge me bae).” He then actually played up his professional connection to Lorde, tweeting an article about his collaboration with Ariana Grande and his group Major Lazer on “All My Love,” for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 soundtrack, which Lorde curated. Diplo wrote of their association, “When I’m not being bodyshamed by a teenager we are collaborating on cool music.”

And he still wasn’t done. He retweeted a Swift diss from television music supervisor Scott Vener, who wrote, “@diplo u should remix blank space cuz that sh*t has no bottom.” And when a Swift fan tweeted, “@diplo the moment you realize you’re irrelevant and @lordemusic is more famous than you can dream of being,” Diplo responded, “@sparks_fly13 @lordemusic i dream pretty big doe.” Lorde hasn’t responded to the new tweets, while Swift has yet to acknowledge the issue at all.

Diplo’s issue with Swift seems to tie to speculation that she and his girlfriend Katy Perry have beef. As Gossip Cop previously reported, after Swift said her song “Bad Blood” is about a singer who tried to sabotage one of her tours, Perry took to Twitter less than 24 hours later to blast an unnamed “mean girl.”

[From Gossip Cop]

I kind of wonder if Lorde will reply. I kind of wonder if Taylor will ask her friend Lorde to just sit this one out and make Diplo look like an even bigger jackass. I mean… who the hell is Diplo? Really? Do people really think, “Oh, Diplo is Real Music, I hate Taylor Swift and Lorde, but give me Katy Perry and Diplo all day long”???? And why the hell is Katy Perry’s boyfriend trolling two of the most powerful women in music these days? What is the endgame here?

I always read his name as “dildo.” That’s all I’ve got, because this is too boring for words.

  2. DahliaDee says:

He’s got a pretty bad case of doucheface he needs checked too.

  3. J-G says:

    How old are these kids?

    • Felice says:

I want to say 30s but that’s their combined age

      • MrsB says:

Except he is almost 40. 40!! And he’s fighting with young girls. The sad thing is, his insults are not the slightest bit clever or funny. The irony of his statement “the moment you realize she’s a highschool stuent” is lost on him I guess.

      • snowflake says:

man, he’s rough for not even being 40! look at all those forehead lines and lines around his mouth, puffy eyes. I’m 39 and I look WAY better than that. this d-bag need to stfu. of course, he can’t be that mature if he’s going out with katy perry

  4. Allison says:

This is all just a publicity stunt, at least on Diplo’s end. Amirite?

    • doofus says:

It’s certainly got a LOT of people (who never knew who he was before this) talking about him.

I’m one of them. I mean, he’s constantly referred to as not only a DJ but “Katy Perry’s boyfriend” at the same time, so clearly THAT reference is needed to know who he is. Like, that’s more of a claim to fame than his DJ-ing.

and I’m sorry, but all most DJs do is click-and-play so for him to think he’s on any type of equal ground with these young women is laughable. he’s just using their names because he knows it will get him press. and it has.

    • moo says:

yuppers. and it’s the only way he’d get anything close to the attention taylor swift and lordes get.

  5. Lucy2 says:

“The moment you realize she’s a high school student” should have been followed with “and I’m a grown man who should have better things to do with my time”.

    • CandyKay says:

I agree! My first reaction was ‘How old is this guy?’ He’s acting like he’s 12.

    • danielle says:

      +1

    • Tulip Garden says:

      ^This!
It would be embarrassing no matter who is tweeting this stuff but a FORTY year old man? Cringe-ilicious.
I’ll give Lorde a pass because as the Mensa-member pointed out, she is in high school, FFS!

    • delia says:

OMG the irony that is lost on this dude is sad. Lorde’s diss Is on par with his so what does that say about him obviously. What a dumb ass.

  6. silken_floss says:

How old is this man, twitter beefing with a teenager?? SMH he and that Katy Perry chick both need to grow the F up

  7. Vera says:

it’s sounds like he’s fame whoring, because who’s heard of him before this?

    • mimif says:

What? Come on, Vera, make it clap, make it clap… (I despise Diplo and am forced to listen to him on the regular.)

  8. lower-case deb says:

i just feel like someone who chooses to be called a cross between an extinct species and a toy (both adult and toddler, though not necessarily at the same time), shouldn’t really shade anyone.

  9. kikikat says:

Katy sure knows how to pick ’em!

  10. whatsmyname? says:

I’m not going to lie ‘enlarge me bae’ made me laugh 🙁
Also the dude just had another baby with his ex(!) I seriously hope Katy isn’t dating him (but she probably is)

And omg I don’t know why Lorde put that song in the Mockingjay soundtrack I can’t even understand what Ariana is singing and it’s feels so out of place.

  11. Dany says:

Wait, how old is this guy? He looks mid30 and shades young women on Twitter? What´s wrong with him?

  12. Poppy says:

No fan of Swift but this guy is a loser. Katy sure knows how to pick ’em. BTW, This should be a lesson to Katy how he will act when they split. Take notes Katy.

    • gina says:

Agree. He will Taylor her. She has a selective memory….she got all riled up about woman using sexuality in their videos after she had whipped cream squirting out of her boobs. Thot.

    • Beatrice says:

Katy has terrible taste in men but this guy makes John Mayer look like a catch.

  13. Greata says:

Shouldn’t he be spending time with his ex-girlfriend, who just had his baby yesterday? Another winner for K.Perry. SMH.

    • RobN says:

My first thought. Maybe go by and see your son before you spend the day shading people on twitter.

    • Hautie says:

I wonder if Katy sent the girlfriend, a nice baby gift from Tiffany’s.

It is time for Katy Perry to go sit down now. What ever issues she might have with Taylor. Letting this loser go after Taylor, is going to end badly. And not for Taylor.

  14. gina says:

Before social media, mean girls would just talk behind your back. Now they and theirs feel the need to post every piece of minutiae for all of us to share. Taylor can’t sit at Katy’s table…as if.

  15. KinChicago says:

Loser. Not even a one hit loser at that, an unprofessional never was.

  16. Anna says:

Diplo always carries things on for too long on twitter/instagram, so I’m not surprised he’s still tweeting about them…I don’t really think he cares about messing with the “two most powerful women in music” since his following will like him either way and this will probably actually make them like him even more.
Let’s not knock Diplo’s music though lol his name may not be really known to most people, but him (and Major Lazer) have made a lot of popular music in the past and have influenced new sounds.. He’s still a really talented dj and music producer (maybe not so much right now, but he was for years)

    • mimif says:

Yeah, I was surprised the last go around how many people hadn’t heard of Diplo. I was kind of excited about Major Lazer at first but then, meh. Same same.

      • Rusty machine says:

Agreed. I am a big fan of his music. However, I’m noticing his stuff is kinda going off the rails now, like he’s always high when he is recording/producing.

I’m not a fan of his personal life, but that’s his business. I won’t be anywhere near his extremely popular (but small) man bits. The ex went into this second kid eyes wide open. They live together and they raise the first kid together . If I had to guess, I would assume this Katy Perry thing (and other relationships) are not intended to be long term.

I hate when someone’s personality turns you off their craft–see john Mayer.

      • Kitten says:

Diplo’s been a pretty big name in EDM for a while now.
Also, the Diplo & Friends stuff he’s been doing with Flosstradamus is kind of interesting.
But none of that takes away from the fact that he’s a douche of epic proportions.

      • mia girl says:

I loved his collaboration with Amber Coffman from Dirty Projectors.
I had that on repeat for a while.

    • Leah says:

Diplo undoubtedly made some great music. I especially loved his work with M.I.A. But this kind of trolling on behalf of Katy Perry is unbecoming.
Not to mention that Lorde and even Swift has so much more talent than Perry ever had if we are gonna talk about talent. Making snide comments at a 16 year old makes him look immature. And i can’t stand how he has become part of Perrys mean girls posse. It makes him less cool and say that as a fan of his work.

  17. Talie says:

What an appalling as*hole this guy is! Going after two young women at the top of their game?? SIT DOWN!

  18. Lauren says:

This is so embarrassing. Katie Perry should be so ashamed. An almost 40 year old man picking fights with teenage girls on twitter!?

  19. JosieJ says:

How old is this guy? He looks at least forty and if that is the case this story is even more pathetic.

  20. Jayna says:

Lorde already on a radio interview kind of apologized and said she loved Diplo. I hated her backtracking.

If her comment he attributes Lorde’s tweet to her being a teenager, what is his out as a grown man shading and shaming a young pop-singer’s body part?

    • Erinn says:

I wish she’d just said “You know, professionally, he’s fine, but it’s shame he feels the need to attack, then draw out the attack on someone who’s done nothing to him”.

I feel like her people pushed her to back track a bit. So far, Taylor’s stayed silent I believe, and I think that’s a good move. The thing is, Lorde was impulsive, and probably shouldn’t have retaliated. But at the same time she’s what, 17? It’s not out of the norm for this kind of thing to happen at her age. Teens filters aren’t the greatest, and she was probably made on behalf of her friend. At 17, I’d probably react similarly if one of my friends was being attacked. I was a spitfire when it came to someone I love being treated poorly. I still am, but in a more grown up, filtered, think of the consequences kind of way.

I just find the whole thing disgusting. Who is he to pull the ‘she body shamed meeeee’ card when he was doing exactly that, and perpetuating it by retweeting fundraising campaigns to get Taylor a new butt? He’s a 36 year old, father of two now.

      • Useyourhead says:

        @Erinn

Like the insight. I’m happy I was able to come of age when social media just started, not after it proliferated, or I wouldn’t have been able to use it in moderation. I cringe at some of my thoughts and actions when I was a teenager and I know my filter then was quite…loose.

Also, I feel you on the body image issues in school. I am also built quite small and although I gain weight easily, some of the things my peers said about my stature seriously hurt beyond words at the time. I now have a greater sense of humour about it BUT that does not mean we can throw these insults and comments lightly. I was so fixated on those issues when I was younger, there was a point where I was so antisocial because I thought all people would say to me would be insults at my body.

I do agree there should be a healthy standard we try to strive for, but we cannot disregard that the standard varies for each body at each age. Furthermore, it often does not correlate to visual expectations we place on each other.

  21. Lucy says:

Oh, we realize she’s a high school student, Diplo. A high school student you totally got owned by.

  22. OhDear says:

He looks like a less greasy version of one of Liz Hurley’s most recent exes (the rugby or cricket player?).

  23. INeedANap says:

In Lorde’s defense, she is *actually* a teenager.

Don’t make me defend Swifty, Diplo.

  24. Annie says:

I HATE this hating thinner girls crap. In highchool I ate and gorged myself on every last thing in sight yet only weighed 90lb. I got bullied, called anorexic, even while stuffing my face with burgers and pizza “are you anorexic” “hmmm, mmmm yum!, Just let me finish gobbling down this 2000 calorie pizza before I answer your dumb question. Sooo, you just saw me polish of this giant meal, I wonder, am I anorexic?”. Like literally, I got asked If I anorexic while my mouth was litterally stuffed full of delicious ultra high calorie pizza. Like can’t I even swallow and absorb my delicious hi cal meal without explaining how I not anorexic I’m, a glutton? I hate this, just because I’m a naturally tiny thin girl who loves to eat large amounts of calories like 6000 per day, I’m an evil anorexic? Anorxic how can this be when I love to eat and keep down huge amount of cals?

    • Erinn says:

I agree, and I am not, and never have been a tiny girl. Even in 9th grade I was around 115, to 120, and I’m short. And I looked healthy then, not heavy, but not thin. I was able to build muscle pretty easily then, just my body type I suppose. And I remember having a friend who was just so tiny, likely similar to you, who got really upset a few times because she would eat like a foot ball player at times, and just not gain. And she’d eat more to try to gain the weight, and it was just sad. Because she was so sick of people telling her to eat a burger, or that her parents must not feed her. I remember wishing I looked like her, and I remember her saying she wished she looked more like I did.

It’s sad to think back to that, because at that age, there IS a lot more hanging on to those ideals than I have now in my 20s. I still look at my body and wish it was different, especially having gained more weight than I should have. But I have never shamed a skinny girl for being skinny, and I hate when bigger or ‘curvy’ girls do that. We need to learn to not criticize each others’ bodies because it gets us nowhere, and so many people don’t realize that.

  25. Deniz says:

“@sparks_fly13 @lordemusic i dream pretty big doe” Um, I’m sorry but doe is a female deer.

  26. Hope says:

    Katy like tools, ’nuff said.

  27. RobN says:

Showing my age, cause I don’t even know what a diplo is. However, never really a fan of a minor celeb using his association with a major one to act like a douche.

  28. mzizkrizten says:

Its always pathetic when grown people act this way. How can we as a society get upset with the sad bullying culture of youth when this type of sh-t is the example they have. Grown people throwing petty insults about butts and weiners. Its almost excusable for Lorde because she is still a child. Perhaps she is being so childish on purpose to highlight how immature HE is being. IDK either way its stupid and hopefully Taylor takes the high road and ignores it all.

    • We Are All Made of Stars says:

TAYLOR SWIFT ignoring it all? Oh, come now! She’ll pretend to take the high road, i.e., keep her mouth shut until the next album, and then profit off of this non-event. Why would she be unhappy about it, this crap is her bread and butter! And this time, she won’t even have to exaggerate that much or make that much stuff up!

      • Amy says:

Tbh though…why is that so horrible and evil?

Songwriting has been used for decades as a way to get out your feelings and even comment on grudges or bad blood between musicians.

I just don’t get why we’re all ‘BURN THE WITCH!’. Props to her for not giving this fool his internet satisfaction and if need be using his own obsessive tendencies to make a buck for herself later.

      • Vvvoid says:

I see nothing wrong with her blind item songs. In fact it is endearing that she actually vents about her real life via music she writes herself. I will never understand how that got turned into a bad thing by the media. Maybe she should just do like all other pop stars and sing about dancing all night long and other things that mean nothing to anyone. I’m not even a fan of hers, she irritates me with her personal choices, but I at least feel like I have had a glimpse into her mind because she writes songs like a normal human being would: about her life.

  29. anne_000 says:

I would be very embarrassed if a boyfriend of mine starting fighting with women over me, especially if he keeps doing it. I can’t stand it when the Real Househusbands do it on the Real Housewives shows. It makes them look like bullies and abusers. The menfolk need to stay out of catfights. Katy can handle herself, but if she’s encouraging Diplo to do this and continue it, then douches of a flock douche together.

  30. lile says:

This douche needs to get a life. These two young ladies are more talented, successful, and mature than he will EVER be. Creeplo needs to crawl back under the rock he came from, or back under Katy, whichever makes him STFU faster. His childish insults have gotten him more press and attention than his ‘music’ ever has! FAF!!

  31. lile says:

Can he be any more of a bish??

    • lile says:

Why, yes! Yes, he can!!!! He will keep this conversation up, even if he is the only one in it because Taylor and Lorde are not exactly sparring with the douche. Lorde made her point and she was done. Taylor couldn’t be bothered. But this little bish just keeps on going. Who’s the one in high school again???

  32. useyourhead says:

I don’t know who he is, and I have never listened to his music. I also don’t like Swift, but I acknowledge she is really good at writing catchy music. Lorde, on the other hand, has (co)written excellent music. If I was still in my teens, I think that would be all I listened to.

With that said, why has nobody mentioned that retaliating by saying that a man has a small penis does not only solve the problem but perpetuates body shaming, albeit in males this time? So calling a guy out over his penis can be seen as a “smart comeback”, while shaming her posterior would enrage everyone? Just because she makes good music and is a teenager, she can get a pass over this and have people calling her quip smart?

I get that he started it and he has a bunch of personal issues, but we need to have equal expectations here. Lorde is a dissapointment here, and I hope young girls don’t think that a personal attack can be mitigated by “going for the balls” on another gender. When CNN wrote about how great Lorde’s comment was, it was so stupid. Embarrass him over something else, beat him professionally and you kill two birds with one stone, giving 1989 free marketing. Her tweet was just impulsive. I honestly don’t care if she is 17, the fact that so many mature adults applaud her is clear enough. You can’t weep over one UN speech and turn around and think this is okay.

Before you call me a troll: I’m not Diplo and I’m not male, just someone sick of double standards.

    • otaku fairy says:

      BUT WHAT ABOUT THE MENNNZZZZZ!

Look, sometimes you get treated the same way you treat others. I have no sympathy for this 40-year-old immature desperate attention whore, nor do I see him as an example of the persecution of males. He got what he had coming to him even if Lorde’s response wasn’t the most mature, well-thought out thing she could have said. If a man doesn’t want his body publicly shamed, picked apart, and policed in such a personal way, as if his body exists for female appraisal and approval, then he really shouldn’t start off by continuing the greater cultural trend of publicly shaming, picking apart, and policing a woman;s body as if it exists for male approval. Sure, it doesn’t solve the problem, but he was delivered a taste of his own medicine by someone about half his age. If he didn’t say anything, Lorde’s diss wouldn’t have even happened. Sometimes we bring uncomfortable little consequences on ourselves by being shi*ty to others, and when that happens, it’s not ‘reverse discrimination’ against the privileged or whatever else MRA and Tea Party types like to call it; it’s karma. 🙂 I’ll save my sympathies for men who are actual victims of persecution based on their gender, not men who are having mean things said about them as a consequence of their own words.

      • Kitten says:

        *giant applause*

      • useyourhead says:

Honestly, if it is something to be proud of that the old and young alike can toss ad hominem attacks based on body shaming, then standards are too low. I never said or considered him a victim, but what both of them said, ANYONE can say. There really is no point.

By addressing double standards, MRA and tea party come the picture? I am a bit confused; I’m not American. I hope my comment does not imply I agree with the above organisations. Far from it.

There are very complex issues surrounding body shaming, and it should not be monopolized in the female form only. There are issues surrounding women, men, and those in between and outside of gender norms. I’m not on his side at all and what he started was a HIDEOUS example. We don’t have to perpetuate it.

He doesn’t deserve sympathy, but none of their comments really take the time to address or demarcate those who do. Add this into the cultural condition that popular music and film and other media often blur prescriptive norms of body image, femininity and masculinity, etc, are we aggravating or mitigating the situation? For those who suffer from body-image problems or who have been bullied or shamed by peers or the public, I hope we can speak up for them, standing by them individually while moving public discourse forward collectively and effectively.

A teenager reworded his insult, directed it back at him on social media, this is somehow impressive? I guess it was foolish of me to expect a more wise and witty insult from Lorde. Yet to act like she just revolutionized the sisterhood in under 140 characters is pretty shallow too.

      • Amy says:

        @use

Not every encounter can be the exact learning experience we want. In this case a nearly 40 yr old man decided to publicly insult Taylor – not by criticizing her talent or her words but by insulting her body. Here we come to the issue of how some men believe women’s bodies are communal property to do what they want with. Would he have done this to a man? Not at all. He is a complete and total coward.

Now one issue with him doing this is as others have said his specific field of work has a lot of professional and personal entanglements. With his childish tweets he’s got Taylor, Lorde, and Katy all wrapped up. Usually other celebs DON’T take up for each other because they’re always worried about their own business: “Will I want to work with this person in the future? Will he be able to give me a hit when I desperately need it?”

So for Lorde her speaking up was an almost unprecedented example of another celebrity publicly responding to and smacking down someone in her field. Yes it was childish but it was also incredibly on point. The whole point being when you casually decide you have a right to deride a woman’s body that you a. Will never really be in the position you’re putting her in because YAY you’re a man and b. You are not perfect enough to run your mouth on Taylor’s butt.

Men do deserve respect, but there’s also something to be said for flipping the tables now and again. The mere fact they didn’t make a kick-starter for his small penis is something he’s chalking up as a point on his side…that’s beyond pathetic.

    • Useyourhead says:

      @Amy

I appreciate the explanation and agree very much with what you said. Perhaps I was seeing it from another angle? Sticking up for a friend and peer is admirable, particularly in this field of course. My other comments and initial reaction to this were focused on the content and not the action. I still feel though the same impact could have been created with better words. Who am I to impose such rigid expectations?

You hit the nail on the head with the fact that they are so intertwined in the business, and some comments above noted how Lorde backtracked in an interview? Whether she really felt the need to backtrack for personal or professional reasons, the fact that he still keeps elongating this issue is disgustingly clear.

All of their tweets reek of impulsivity. That Taylor herself is silent (added to her already conflicting views of feminism) says more to me than the actual Twitter spat. I look forward to hearing the single.

Nevertheless, I appreciate everyone’s thoughts on this matter.

  33. Bell says:

The funniest part of this whole twitter exchange is Diplo accused Lord of body shaming him when this whole thing started from him body shaming Taylor. Irony at its best. He is an asshole and a moron.

  34. Caroline says:

Diplo made $13 million last year, and was only the thirteenth-most successful DJ that year. The minivan majority might not know who he is but he is behind a lot of popular music and has a following in his own right. I doubt he gives AF about what any of us think about him.

    http://www.stereogum.com/1441392/highest-paid-djs-2013/list/

    • Leah says:

Just because he made money doesnt make him entitled to act like a douchebag to teenagers.
Besides Taylor Swift probably made a lot more money that he did so whats the point of this kind of comment?

    • useyourhead says:

      @Caroline

It is a sad fact that those with money can potentially influence so much yet be immune to change or criticism.

    • Ava says:

He made a whole 13 million , Taylor Swift made the in a week.

And if this guy had any real talent or was a known quality in music he wouldn’t go after the the highest grossing artist in the last decade, here’s a clue ,

Katy Perry’s Prism album sold 280 thousand first week debut , Taylor Swift ‘s 1,280 million.
In 3 weeks Taylor Swift will have sold 2 million albums , Katy Perry’s Prism came out over year and just passed 1 million half.

The point is , it isn’t only Swift , she has two record labels behind her Big machine & Universal, someone’s who has a career to worry about wouldn’t alienate artists and record labels to do a few pot shots on twitter that just make him look like a douche to the majority of people who didn’t even know who he was.

You act small cause you are small, and this guys a ant in the music business, that’s too stupid to know he’s a ant.

      • We Are All Made of Stars says:

Well if you act small because you are small, what does that say about Taylor Swift?
She doesn’t come anywhere close to banking that kind of money in a week, nor does anyone else in entertainment. Katy Perry is the first and only female act in history to have five Billboard Top 40 #1 hits off the same album, meanwhile it took Swift how many albums before she could procure a single Top 40 spot? See how easy it is to selectively choose information to prop up someone whom you support? This guy has a following and is a big deal behind the scenes music guy. There’s no point in denying the facts.

The awesome thing about life is even if someone is too rich and amazing to give an f what anyone thinks…people can still think about them and not give an f how it effects them.

Dude is successful and a loser, he can bath in a tub full of money and he spends his time attacking young women on Twitter for not physically pleasing him.

      Lame.

  35. kri says:

As a man, I would be so embarrassed to be the biggest bitch in the midst of a Twittter fight between female pop stars, one of whom is half my age. #someonegrowupstat

  36. Aminta says:

Lorde’s brief response, standing up for her friend, is “that moment you realize you’re talking to a teenager”? Diplo, YOURE THE ONE MAKING FUN OF A YOUNG SINGER FOR NOT BEING AN APPEALING ENOUGH SEX OBJECT TO YOU. Lorde IS a teenager. You are-what-40?? What a disgusting person. Just when I thought he couldn’t get more pathetic, he keeps railing on about it.

  37. Aminta says:

Also, him calling Lorde’s response body shaming, when she’s obviously never actually seen his junk and she’s responding to him outrageously body shaming Taylor swift, is the ultimate face palm.

  38. Amy says:

    He’s pitiful.

  39. nickeldime says:

I don’t agree at all with what Diplo said, but he is such a good musician. Yes I would x10000000 rather listen to his music than Taylor or Katy’s. I’ve seeing him live multiple times. His new stuff is really good. Check out Take Ü There, his new collab with Skrillex.
But he has taken things too far with this Taylor thing. He needs to stop because he just looks so dumb. Maybe focus on his new baby instead of picking fights with swiftys. Although, I think he might be upset because some of her fans wished Down syndrome on his children. Him and Lorde are friends, though. Look at her Instagram feed or Youtube

    • M says:

They used to be friends……..he might be a good musician but he is proving to also be a bully & immature Bro. He should start hanging with the football players at recess making fun of the smart girl that won’t put out and calling her ugly cuz she denied him.

  40. KatyD says:

How seriously immature. Katie Perry should lose this epic jerk. She has such shifty taste in men. Seriously . . .

    • Annie says:

ikr? A 36 year old man who still rocks a Beiber moustache, calls himself “Diplo/dip-e-de-doo-dah”, and whose default expression looks like he just smelt a fart. Seems like a real winner, Katy. No idea if he’s a good musician or not, but he makes himself look like a real asshole.

  41. phlyfiremama says:

This psychopath is downright creepy. 36 years old and doing stuff like this? So many red flags are popping up with behavior like this that it isn’t even funny.

  42. M says:

He should change his baby’s diaper, heat up a bottle or give his “baby momma” a break rather then skinny shaming a 21-yr-old and trying to perpetuate a fight with a teen. Grow up DB!

  43. Anotherdirtymartini says:

I read his name as Dildo too. Now Dildo I know, but Diplo I don’t. Never heard of the enema hose!

  44. jenn12 says:

No wonder these two idiots are in their mid to late twenties and have little kids worshipping them- they mentally stopped at middle school. And the middle aged boyfriend is picking fights with a TEENAGER? Isn’t he the guy who did some shady things with the mother of his kid?

    • Gilmore says:

He cheated on the mother of his child A LOT. The whole situation with that is mega weird considering they live together, but aren’t actually in a relationship? I read a profile on him once (shamelessly i was once a fan) and it was so sad to read the way she’s treated. He came home to her and their son after being away for so long, barely said hi to either of them, basically changed clothes then left after five minutes. Like I want to give these girls involved with him a hug and tell them you can get can get an ACTUAL dildo and be a lot happier/satisfied than with this guy.

  45. stacat1 says:

36 and fighting with young women (who are more accomplished than him I might add) on Twitter…whatever it takes to feel relevant and in the news.

    Big ego…little man…

  46. Dorothy says:

Yes, this is unbelievably pathetic. If my guy EVER made such public derogatory remarks about other women on such a superficial level, I would ditch him immediately. In private,,,, sure , okay. )r if it was a serious issue then okay but this drivel? I think if Katy has a problem with these other young ladies she should speak up or shut up, herself. Really, what kind of real man does that? And why is Katy condoning it? So strange to me.
