Jennifer Lopez was on hand at last night’s AMAs. She was there to perform the last song of the evening, “Booty” with Iggy Azalea. There were stories about the ABC censors freaking out about the butt-specific nature of the song and potential performance, but I just watched two minutes of it (I went to bed early because I was going to wait for the stupid butt song) and it wasn’t really scandalous at all. Just hype! Hype plus a terrible song. You can see the video of the performance here.
As for Jenny from the block, she walked the red carpet in this pale pink/blush Reem Acra dress. It’s sexy and feminine and she looks like a gorgeous vampire. I don’t know what else there is to say. She looks amazing.
Here’s our girl Elizabeth Banks in Peter Pilotto. Banks wears a lot of Pilotto to these kinds of events – I think she likes Pilotto’s “fun” and colorful prints. She looks completely appropriate for the event, but this isn’t my favorite look ever.
Mary J. Blige made a rare public appearance. I’m not sure what I think about the blonde.
And here’s Julianne Hough in Zuhair Murad. I think she’s trying to do that bronzed, glowing, haux-wet-look that Jennifer Lopez did too, only Jennifer owns that sh-t and Julianne looks like a fake-tanning disaster. She looks even more orange because the dress is too orange-red rather than blue-red.

Nailed it. Yea her body is amazing, but that dress is terrible and trashy, the makeup heavy, and the bedroom face wouldn’t be complete without JLo’s trademark open mouth. I get very little vamp unless vamp is slicked back hair and heavy eyeshadow.
She’s looked better. This seems desperate to upstage the younger acts.
+1 to all of that. Has she had some very subtle eye work? Just a gentle de-bagging? Quite a bit of Botox, but doesn’t look grotesque like so many do. Brandi G. ought to get JLo’s MD’s number.

JLo is ageless. Her skin and body is flawless. She is 45 and I am always stunned how young she looks, I am not even a big fan. Must be genes, she doesn’t drink or smoke and very subtle nips and tucks.
I agree. Whatever one thinks of JLo, she is absolutely stunning. She may wear some dodgy outfits, but she herself always looks fantastic. And while she may have had a little subtle ‘maintenance’ work done, I really don’t think she’s had much done at all. She still looks very much like herself.

I agree , and her mom looks really great at her age so genetics are definitely playing a part. What I love about Jen is she doesn’t have that I’m trying to fight the hand of time look like most celebrities start getting with the big chipmunk cheeks ( fillers ) and painfully botoxed face. I’m sure she has had work done but it would seem she is careful not to overdo it.
Agreed guys… I mean this outfit itself is HORRENDOUS and whatever is going on in the hairline (powdered Lacefront?) is just… IDK why she just won’t go be free with her own Sparse little hair ( think the Booty Video THAT is her real hair ) But her face and Body are sick, Sick SIck!!!, I also heard a while while back that out of all these stars doing nips and tucks and crazy diets, drugs and whatever else Her and Jessica Alba are some of the very few that is all discipline and hard work, I believe it, I think if anything she’s done subtle things at best to her face

Hate JLo’s dress. It would have been beautiful if you remade it without all the cutouts. Yes she is in amazing shape, but that’s no reason to cut up a perfectly good dress. Yeah and I know what you mean by vampire. The looks she’s giving the camera are a bit scary.

I’m not a JLo fan but damn the woman looks younger every time. I like the top of her dress and the color looks good in her but she tries too hard sometimes.. Yes she looks amazing for her age but she would never wear something like Elizabeth Banks wears because it covers up her body. I don’t understand what she needs to prove.

OMG, that’s a lot of makeup to get her to her usual look. Great makeup, but still a huge difference. Wow.
JLo looks phenomenal. I love the color on her, her make-up is gorgeous and perfect, the cut of the dress flatters her flawless figure. My only quibble is that second level of banding, which appears to be elastic and a slight variation of the rest of the hue. My eye keeps getting drawn to it, and it reminds me of a complicated underthong or jockstrap or something. Maybe it is structural, to keep the skirt up, but it is too distracting. I wish there was no banding at that juncture at all, if that makes sense.

That is such a hard color to pull off, but she does it! Think the makeup is a bit harsh, but guess the “look” was edgy. JH has amazing eyes- but agree she needs to lay off the fake tan, or dial it down. EB is really into prints these days- this and her Mockingjay gowns were all pretty busy!

I think she looks amazing – as always, really. But I hated the performance. I think it’s a little sad to be 45 years old, bending over and busting it wide open. I forgive Miley, because she’s young and youngsters are expected to be thirsty and stupid. How are you 45 years old and you still have to resort to that to get attention?
JLo is a beauty. I don´t like her singing and think she is an average dancer, but she has ambition. The Booty song is ridiculous. Not because I think she is too old for being sexy, but because a 45-year old woman should be so much cooler than oiling up her ass to please men (women want to see her in amazing clothes, of course). She looks stunning doing it, though.

I can’t stop looking at her nose. Either she had work done or they put bronzer on it. When I first saw her picture, I immediately thought, “Rudolph”. I don’t like her makeup here at all. Too much under the eyes, the nose is brown and her lips look smeary. I think she’s a beautiful woman but this makeup isn’t highlighting that fact.

JLO is a stunning woman, fierce as always. But I’m kind of flabbergasted at all the comments praising her makeup. That eye makeup is not doing it for me. I actually like all of these looks, but especially Mary J. Blige’s and J.Lo’s- the makeup, the hair, AND the dress. She does look like a glamorous vampire. I don’t think her being in her 40’s means she needs to put it away either.
