Duchess Kate and Prince William weren’t the only royals out and about in NYC last night! Queen B was out too! Beyonce, Jay-Z and little Blue Ivy went to the NYC premiere of Annie. They didn’t walk the red carpet with the stars of the film, but they still got photographed entering and leaving the premiere. Jay is a producer on the remake and I think he had a hand in the soundtrack too.
It should be noted – it’s more than possible that the Carter family will be hanging out with the Cambridges tonight at the Nets game in Brooklyn. Kate and Will are scheduled to attend (at a cost of $1 million to get them there), but sources have stressed the idea that Kate and Will would not sit courtside. Bey and Jay always sit courtside. So maybe the meeting won’t happen? I still think there will be some kind of photo-op though.
What else? Let’s see… Bey and Jay went to Iceland last week for Jay’s 45th birthday. E! News says they chartered a helicopter and took in some of the sites that way (they flew over a volcano!) and they even visited a famous geothermal spa. I always like that about Beyonce and Jay-Z – they really do travel to new places and they’re curious about the world.
Oh, and Beyonce is now the most nominated woman in Grammy history. Because of Bey’s multiple nominations this year for her self-titled album, she now has more nominations than Dolly Parton.

I’m sorry but her last album was crap. Elevator music with not a single song of note. If it hadn’t been Beyonce releasing it, it would’ve gotten nowhere. She hasn’t released anything decent in years. Apart from that reimagining of Crazy In Love which was pretty fantastic. I just don’t understand it. Is she not being sent the good songs? Or is she just terrible at choosing them? How is it that Rihanna keeps getting all the hits and Beyoncé is churning out albums of endlessly forgetful dross?
aahhh idk i drink the bey koolaid and i’ll admit and i was turned off to the last couple of albums but- i was pretty obsessed with: drunk in love, partition, flawless (remix and original) pretty hurts and XO!

What? No. The last album led me onto the Bey train. It takes risks, new sounds and ditching regular structure, that pay off. I love grown woman, especially the Afro sound at the end. And xo.is so cute. Flawless is just flawless imo. That album converted me into a Beysus fan.

Finally someone sees it. Her music has been crap, keeps saying she wrote this song and that song but when you look at the credits, its all other people, she adds her name to sentencs she adds here and there, giving a blow j in back of limo does not make a Grammy nominated artists, so Grammys nominate her and other worthless singers to get them there for ratings when there are so many talented people who get zero recognition unless theysimulate sex on stage and pop their gstringed ass in the air
Yes, Blue is looking more and more like Jay-Z. They all look great. Most of all, I love the way Beyoncé and Jay-Z dresses Blue. It seems to me they are keeping with us normal, and deciding to dress Blue like a little girl. Not a dress-up doll in lace and itchy fur. I die for little girls in pretty Mary Jane shoes and tights. Good for them

Not just little girls! I adore Mary Janes and wear them all the time, and I’m old. They look fantastic with thick, opaque tights. This little girl looks fabbo – I love her with her hair like that, and she is dressed age- and occasion-appropriate. Can’t stand her parents, though.

Not all kids are ‘traditionally’ good looking, neither are all adults, the facts are she does look more like her dad and her Dad aint no looker – but she also looks a little like her Auntie, so maybe like me she will grow into her face

I was about to say the same thing. I think Jay Z has been 45 for a few years now.
I remember when Jay Z first came out, as we’re about the same age. I’m 44, so 45 is about right for Jay Z.
According to his mom he was born Dec 4,1969,the last of her 4 children
But I’m SURE she was lying about his DOB.
Why are you all so SURE she was lying? Somebody made this claim last year and multiple outlets found his birth certificate to prove his age. Jay Z is the age he says he is. He celebrated his 44th last year (he went vegan for it, remember?), and had a huge 40th birthday party in 2009. He makes frequent reference to his DOB as it was the day civil rights activist Fred Hampton was assassinated.

That little striped coat and scarf is so cute! The other coat is, too, but I especially love that one.
I thought the striped coat was so cute too, but in taking a second look at the pics, is it really just a blanket they artfully wrapped around her to keep her warm? In the first pic with it, Jay-Z looks like he’s holding it together at her neck, and in the second, it’s starting to fall off.

I really love the snippets we see of Bey and Jay’s “parenting.” Love how they dress Blue and comb her hair. Love how they carry her (in a comforting way to seemingly make up for the paps).
Well i have seen the new Annie ,the quality wasn’t great it was a fun movie.
Was it? I saw the performance of “hard knock life” on Dancing with the Stars and I thought the singing was weak and the performance lack-luster. I hope the entirety of the move is better.
Some of the singing numbers were a bit cringy especially with Cameron Diaz but over all for a kids musical it was decent.
I think I know what this kid will get for her sweet 16.
Getting a nose job for showbiz folks is like getting a driver’s license for the rest of us…although I personally think Blue is adorable and sweet and the way she looks now is perfect, it’s no big deal for them and pretty much everyone in the business gets one.
PennyLane: Getting a nose job at 17 can be just as important to a young person as getting a driver’s license at 16.
If the nose is the wrong shape or one doesn’t like the large nose they are born with and if one’s appearance can be improved; then more power to all who undergo rhinoplasty.
I hope she doesn’t get a nose job when she’s older. There is nothing wrong with her nose and it looks natural. She looks a lot like her dad, but she has the prettiness of her mother and she has a cute face.
