As I reported earlier this week, Jennifer Lawrence spent Dorito Christmas in her native Kentucky. As far as the gossip world knows, Chris Martin stayed in Los Angeles to be near his kids and smug Gwyneth Paltrow. I toss no shade in Martin’s direction for getting along with Goop. That’s in the best interest of their children, although I’m not sure how he puts up with her haughtiness. I tend to think he’s as insufferable as she is.
Anyway. Martin Lawrence could be a thing again. The relationship (maybe) ended around the time JLaw started promoting Mockingjay. People reported that JLaw dumped him. A week later, People backtracked to say they were still a couple. It was all very confusing, but many people assumed they were over. Perhaps that was wishful thinking.
Yesterday, a haunting photo with murky origins surfaced. Chris and JLaw were sitting in the same sushi restaurant together! How bizarre and unheard of, especially after months of relationship news with only blurry private jet photos to show for it. You can see the sushi picture here. Just Jared says the picture was a New Year’s eve dinner date, but really, who knows? It could be an old photo. I turn my nose up at the lack of pizza in this picture.
To add to the weird mystery, People says the picture was taken on Tuesday in Studio City. I say “mystery” because People usually gets the PR scoops, but everyone (including them) has published so much conflicting info on this couple. If this picture is new, then Martin Lawrence lives. JLaw and Chris were reportedly “engulfed in their little world of conversation. They were into each other and not noticing anyone else around them.” Nooooo.

Totally agree. I think she’s a good actor but she comes across as super annoying and try-hard in interviews.
I like her spirit, but she’s just young and has an untempered filter. She’s so far off the self-control mark from Gweneth Paltrow, it just seems like a passive aggressive move on Chris Martin’s part to make a jab at his ex. This whole december may romance shouts rebound. Yawn.
I think she:s very self-contrilled and PR savy. I find her and Goop very similar.
I always said they weren’t broken up. They just didn’t want the press on them as it was heating up about and stayed low-key.
One is overhyped, obnoxious attention seeker, the other one is blander than overdue mayonnaise elevator musician, so if opposites atrract, they should be fine together.

Really have you not seen her in interviews and on the red carpets especially when it’s someone else being interviewed.
Plus she’s signed up for two franchises, endorsement deals and awards so she does love the attention.

So J-Law signing up for franchises, endorsement deals and awards is evidence that she loves attention? Silly me – I presumed she did it to raise her profile and make money like every other actor, but no, I must be wrong, she must be a crazed, self-obsessed attention seeker….
Also they’re both kinda bland, so it works I think.
I don’t dislike Chris.. I don’t really care if he is dating Jennifer or not. I also don’t think he is a lot like Gwenny at all. I feel like you can trace how their marriage was going based on Gwenny herself. when she and Chris first got married she was all about the marriage. Staying out of the press for a long time. Then things changed and she became GOOP.
Chris seems very down to earth when you see him in interviews. He has a good sense of humor. I think they are about to file for divorce. Her last interview sounded like this is the end. I think she will be the one to file and it will move pretty quickly. He has moved on.. so has she. the last thing was getting things settled with the kids.
Yes sweet young Jlaw doesn’t play the PR all she cares about is acting. Why is everyone so mad about this? She seems alright but she’s not a unique beauty or personality to the point where only MLK or Paul Newman deserves her plus he’s rich and famous so it’s not a shock.
Also why would anyone want to get involved with Chris or Gwyneth considering that she’s basically came out and said they cheat on each other. Maybe it’s just me but I wouldn’t want to get involved with someone if they cheat on their spouse and parent of their children. I’m just old fashioned I guess.
I don’t understand the hatred for this couple. It’s a weird pairing for sure, but she is not better than he is. She’s overhyped and loud (and Im a fan) and he’s in a band that is maybe passed their glory days. The age difference is there, but it’s not extreme. Why are people so upset?!
Because she’s young, and could do a lot better than this older dude with 2 kids and baggage. And I’m not even particularly a fan of JLaw, just he’s so… meh.
Because when you are 24 years old you need to enjoy life not wait around for your boyfriend find time between his kids, career and weird wife (they are still married which i don’t get it). She is living a crazy life with her career so she needs someone more reliable to be by her side something i doubt Chris could ever be at this point.
I know! Clearly, he was too selfish to make his wife and kids a priority over his muzak, absenting himself from family activities even when he was at home, but now he’s going to find time to schedule in a younger girlfriend around work and seeing the kids?
I don’t know how JLaw is going to make it work either, since her previous long-term relationship mostly coincided with her and Nick Hoult being costars, i.e. being in the same place at the same time for an extended timeframe.
This coupling makes me mad, cause he’s an overrated pompous tool churning out terrible music, and she’s too young and talented for this to be a conspicuous part of her Wikipedia page.
Yeah, the photo if them popped up on my tumble dash, and I have to admit the hair style on her made me think it was recent. I guess we’re stuck with them for awhile. Booooooring.
People believe that Lawrence should ONLY be with Josh Hutcherson or Liam Hemsworth or with no one in particular. Well, she’s a full grown 24 year old woman who seems to have a good head on her shoulders…handles the fame and attention incredibly well considering. People should just let her do as she sees fit.
Having said all that, the photo itself proves nothing really…it could just be two friends having a meal together.
The dinner was on the 30th. I don’t see this as a romantic date but then again i don’t get why she would even want to meet him again after all the media hoopla around them. You would imagine she would want to bury him and 2014 all together and star fresh not relive the past with the marriage guy whos priority will never be her but i guess she doesnt think like that. I thought Jen was a smart girl. Her PR should advise her. This relationship is so stupid from all angles. Jen us young and should enjoy her career and live while she can.
People proved they have no reliable source when it comes to them. They were confused as hell which means their PR wasn’t really feeding them. E! Is the one with exclusives on Jen’s live recently. Their have a source close to her or her PR is using them. I’m sure they are checking to post about it so we will know what it’s going on. The pic is new because her hair is longer but could be just a friendly dinner or they will try again. I hope Jen run aways from this mess.

OMG, everyone calm down. Men her age in Hwood are egocentric dbags. She is right to date around and definitely to date older. At least, Chris Martin doesn’t seem like a liar, whatever their situation is, was or will be and many, many men in her industry are not even trust worthy!

When people say that J-Law is ‘annoying’ and ‘loud’, they seem to be complaining that she’s not demure enough for their taste. I don’t see why she should behave like a wilting flower – she’s witty, funny and charismatic, with a nice line in self-effacing humour, and I fail to see why she should hide all that to satisfy sexist assumptions about how female stars should behave in public.
I’m actually impressed that everyone (Hollywood included) still loves her despite all the grossness and foot-in-mouth incidents. It’s a breakthrough in a world that’s still very much “the ladies should shut it”.
