Usually that degree of duality of character is associated with either multiple identity disorder, which can probably be ruled out, or sociopathic type a personality, which we have no proof of. In order to prove or disprove Tom would have to have a psych evaluation done.

Is he God or something? Why would she have to confess to him>? I would bet my savings on it. Katie isn’t happy. How could she possibly be? Tom is so controlling.

Don’t pity her too much….remember, she was just a two-bit tv actress…then she married Tom Cruise and wow! immediate attention, and yes, ridicule. I don’t feel sorry for her – she knew what she was doing.

It’s disturbing how her look has transformed from casual, all-American girl to stick-thin high-fashion model. She seemed a lot more real when she was pregnant and in jeans.

Yet Katie is showing some independence by going off on her own to pursue her career. The Broadway play was very demanding, and now she’s back in New York again filming. Note that Tom isn’t spending a lot of time in New York with her. She’s the one who’s had to fly the red-eye for quick trips to LA to be with him.

The way Tom is constantly holding on to her, I wonder if he thinks hes fooling anyone???I don’t think theres a lot of emotion between these two..except for thier apparent love for Suri, who IMO is a really cute kid. I think he hangs on to Katie so she can have another kid for him, and she stays with Tom because she will never see Suri again if she leaves.

I am guessing she thought “hmmm, I will marry this guy and I will end up with an oscar too!!” Not realizing that she got him at advancing age. He is a much higher level of jerk (OT 7 or some crap)then he was when he married Kidman.

I find it interesting that he still controls all contact with kidman and the first two kids, as they have become all but invisible since Suri showed up.

She married for career and money…this is what you get. She should have stayed with Chris Klein but I am guessing that is what she ‘writes’ in her confessions every week.

She’s not battered a la Rihanna, but I bet she’s not feeling much better inside. And since it’s for the cult, she probably doesn’t even see it as a violence.

Poor Katie, poor Suri. She’ll grow up as an abusee or an abuser. Sad.
