  1. Jag says:

I refuse to watch the Gambit movie because Tatum is not a charismatic actor enough to pull off the character.

    • Charlie says:

After Foxcatcher, I am willing to be surprised by him. He is a much better actor that I thought.

    • mimif says:

I hear the sound of a thousand Jaderu tears spilling onto her bed of mashed potatoes….

    • Tateru says:

      LALALALLALALALALALLA I CAN’T HEAR YOU

      • doofus says:

        Damn, girl…

        SHOTS FIRED!

(the first time I typed that it came out “SNOTS FIRED!” eww….)

    • Abbott says:

Aw sh*t, Jag. You better run.

    • jinni says:

I am right there with you. I swear it’s like Marvel hates Gambit or something. First that lame, pointless cameo in that horrible Wolverine movie, now this. The Ragin’ Cajun deserves better than that no acting, potato head, charisma void to play him.

    • RocketMerry says:

Sooooo many times YES. I am so very deeply disturbed by his face. Ew. And yeah, he does lack charisma and charm; he’s just bland and unwatchable, for me (sorry, I’m mean today).
I do not want him nowhere near a Gambit movie! This is just plain unfair; Marvel needs to do something supermegaultraawesome to make up for this. πŸ™‚

    • mom2two says:

I am sorry the Gambit in my head is not Channing Tatum, nor Taylor Kitsch. It was Josh Holloway (who supposedly turned the role down for X3? Leading to Taylor Kitsch). I don’t really care how good Tatum was in Foxcatcher but this just smacks of unoriginal casting and Hollywood casting the same 5 people in things because they think that’s all people want to see.
Channing is a nice guy, but think outside of the box Hollywood.

  2. Charlie says:

I’ve seen a video of Ian signing autographs and he was so so nice. I don’t know why, but you kinda don’t expect people that good looking to be that nice, no?
Anyway, I like these two together.

    • Bucky says:

The Vampire Diaries cast films and lives really close to me and hangs out near where I hang out, and we’ve run into him a few times. He has been super nice and accommodating and not at all arrogant or precious each time, and I’ve heard the same from my friends. Same with Jason Momoa when he’s here.

    • cami says:

i’ve probably said this on here before, but i know several people who’ve worked with and gotten to know him and they all have good things to say about him and how lovely his is.

and yeah, i think the two of them seem sweet together and like they have a lot in common.

      • Indira says:

Yeah all accounts say he’s super nice. But sigh, I suppose this means Nian is dead? Oh, my once Delena shipper heart. But there’s still Captain Swan!

    • Stacie says:

I was so taken back by how kind and genuine he was when I met him. Ever since then, I have nothing but nice things to say about him.

    • Veruca Salt says:

Ian, I know from first hand account is always a sweetheart. Always. Nikki, I’ve not heard good things about, sadly. πŸ™

  3. Tateru says:

    Maybe they’re casing the joint.
Ian Somerhalder & Nikki Reed Caught in Twisted Jewelry Heist!! Special 42 Page Expose’!!!
Plus! How to Wow Your Man in Bed With Potatoes!! Vavavooom!

*completely ignores earlier rant and dismisses procedure by slapping Kurt Russell onto the EVERYTHING list*

Agent Carter was fantastic. LOVED it.

There’s a Tater in the links! *happy tater dance*

  4. littlestar says:

Didn’t she JUST get divorced? I am definitely giving her side-eye if she’s already moving into an engagement so soon…..

    • Liv says:

Come on, she got engaged with this music guy after what, 5 months? I’m giving her the side eye for years…

    • Nikki Reed has always just seemed so…thirsty to me. That’s why I side eye her. I guess I have a rather warped view of relationships, being that my parents got together very quickly, with a big age (and maturity) gap, so that sort of thing doesn’t bother me. I don’t care that she’s dating again, or even contemplating getting engaged. It’s more that she’s playing these games with the press/paparazzi. If she REALLY wanted it to work, to get remarried and make it stick, again, then she wouldn’t be doing this crap, and if she’s not doing it–she wouldn’t be putting up with a guy that does that sort of thing.

I saw 13 (I think that’s what it’s called) when I was like 15, and I had always liked her in the movie, so that carried on into Twilight, for me–but she’s always struck me as someone who tries her very best to get the attention on her, but she’s not very famous, so she can’t hustle enough up. Until she got a divorce and is potential banging someone else….who the tabloids are trying to make out into a feud with his ex (that he works with)….

  5. InvaderTak says:

Is the Agent Carter mini series worth marathoning? Need opinions. I’m finally caught up on shield and need new material.

Also, is it cold or not in LA? He looks bundled up, she’s wearing shorts. Make up your mind people.

    • Tateru says:

I really enjoyed it. It’s has great comedic moments and the play between Peggy and the butler is great without force feeding us a sexual tension distraction. I like the constant side-eyeing and uh huh moments mocking the sexism of the era.

PS I need to catch up on Shield myself. Netflix mocks me. And I need to do the whole Breaking Bad thing before mimif tatershanks me.

      • Tig says:

I loved Agent Carter! I enjoyed the dialogue and the banter so much! And Haley Atwell is beyond gorgeous-hope the show finds an audience- my understanding is its almost a trial ballon- only 8 episodes. Was very underwhelmed by Ant Man tresses- and I love Paul Rudd.

    • Tiffany :) says:

LA’s weather is crazy mixed up! The other day (Thursday) the low at night was in the low 30s. Today the high is 80 degrees! But it is still “cold” in the morning and at night.

  6. Norman Bates' Mother says:

Susan Sarandon has a granddaughter not a grandson. She’s super cute. I love the other photo in the link showing Tim Robbins with her. It’s heartwarming to see when people stay in touch with their step-children and step-grandchildren after the divorce/break-up with the biological parent.

  7. houseful says:

OMG you have to go to the website for Susan Sarandon’s pictures. There is another one of Tim Robbins with the same baby and it is too funny!

  8. Murphy says:

Susan Sarandon’s grandchild is a GIRL.

  9. Mimz says:

I’m sorry I think that headline is unnecessarily mean.

I don’t understand all the snark directed at Ian here, he’s such a sweetheart – much different from his TV persona, and if you saw most of his IG posts and all accounts of co-workers and people who came accross him always say he’s such a nice guy. Actually kind of cheesy in a way.

And I wonder when people are buying jewelry how are they supposed to do it? oh I know, instead of risking giving a sh*t about paparazzi’s stalking them around, they must lock themselves up in their houses and shop online. So we don’t think they are “thirsty”.

Ok done ranting, it just seems a bit unfair the snarky posts about him. He’s mostly drama-free. And he’s delicious in TVD .

  10. me says:

I have just noticed in Hollywood and in my real life that there are A LOT of people getting engaged, getting married, or having a baby. Was this a goal for everyone in 2014/2015 ???

  11. Susa says:

I looks like she is already hiding a ring in the 2nd picture. Where her sleeve is covering her left hand, it looks like a bump on her ring finger.

  12. Kiddo says:

So now that the Comet Cumberbatch conception has been confirmed, any wagers on the total # of comments? Should I send in Constellation Cops for concerns of security?

Also on a serious note, my condolences to our French friends. Raising a pen in unity.

    • FlowerintheAttic says:

      #RIPPARIS

    • Bridget says:

Can someone please explain to me what they could possibly even be discussing on those Cumberbatch threads? It’s at 500+ comments right now. I DON’T GET IT.

      • Kiddo says:

I just post nonsense and kiss up to Sixer in those threads, I’m not sure you’d want me explaining anything.

I’ll guess 800 comments by midnight.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Kiddo is engaging in acts of piddletude. It’s sort of sad.

      • Bridget says:

I will gird my loins and read it then, but I’m assuming that it’s a combination of people making fun of the Cumberbatchness and thenpeople fighting over whether or not he’s THEIR internet husband and whether or not his fiancee is for real because they’ve studied every picture of him?

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

There’s a small group who love Sophie and think she’s everything and the new baby is a miracle darling, but are slightly depressed that the Otter is off the market. I am in this group. We are celebrating/ mourning with lots of drinks and food, like normal people. Then, there is a huge group of people who think Sophie is evil and that the Otter is miserable with her. They refuse to answer questions such as then why is he marrying her? I can’t figure them out. Don’t worry if you can’t make it through the whole thing – neither can I. But it’s funny and crazy before it’s too much and you just have to give up. Good luck, Bridget. Let me know how you make out.

      • Kiddo says:

GoodNamesAllTaken, so now you are making up words to impress Sixer too. HA!
        Unguard, I say!

ETA: 649 comments is piddling, I’m shocked.

    • Tiffany :) says:

The cumby threads kind of scare me with the overwhelming number of comments! I don’t get it either Bridget! Ultimately though, I am glad folks are getting plenty of gossip fun. I am sure he appreciates the buzz during his campaign season.

      • Bridget says:

What on earth could people possibly find THAT appealing about this guy? I.don’t.get.it.

      • mom2two says:

Bridget, I don’t get it either. I think if he wasn’t an actor, no one would really notice him outside of the strange name. He’s a good actor but there is nothing about him that is that interesting to me. I thought he was really good as the voice of Smaug in the recent Hobbit movies but also terrible as the voice of Sauron in the same movie.

  13. scout says:

Charlie Sheen can’t spell when on high! He said her “giggly butt” instead of “Jiggly butt”. πŸ˜€
