A lot of Angelina Jolie-fans can’t stand the way that her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton will often name-check her in interviews. I never really minded it though, because for the most part, he’s just being asked those questions and he tries to answer them as honestly as he can. I’ve always thought BBT still cares about Angelina in a general sense and genuinely wishes her well. Maybe that’s a projection on my part. Who knows? But by BBT’s own admission, he and Angelina still talk and check in with each other occasionally, and I doubt either of them has any sort of grudge. But Billy Bob just opened up a big ol’ can of worms. As you know, Billy Bob won a Golden Globe for his brilliant portrayal of Lorne Malvo in Fargo. After his win, he stopped by Access Hollywood, where they made him play a game of “Who would you rather?”
Watch out, Justin Theroux! Jennifer Aniston has one seriously devoted admirer. Billy Bob Thornton revealed his crush on the Friends alum after the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 11. Thornton, 59, caught up with Access Hollywood after nabbing the statue for Best Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Fargo, and was asked about Aniston, 45.
Access Hollywood hosts Billy Bush and Kit Hoover asked Thornton to play a game of “Would you rather…?” as a nod to an earlier move from Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s Golden Globes opening.
“Who would you rather… Jennifer Aniston or Reese Witherspoon?” Hoover asked.
“Jennifer Aniston,” the star quickly responded, requiring just seconds to make his choice.
“Lifelong goal…” he added jokingly. “That’s all I’m saying.”
Asked about his choice between Keira Knightley and Aniston, Thornton maintained his love for the Cake star, saying, “Jennifer Aniston. How many times does it take you for you to get this through your head?”
Well well well. Billy Bob has a crush on Jennifer Aniston. Everything is coming up CAKE!! Just think, Aniston could have “stolen” Billy Bob away all of those years ago. Victory for Aniston! In all honesty, if we’re playing “Who would you rather?” and you have to choose between Reese and Jennifer, I would probably pick Jennifer too. You know she has the better weed and the stronger mojitos. Plus, she might take you to Cabo. But if I had to choose between Keira and Jennifer? Eh, I would choose Keira.

Lol–I had gone up to my grandma’s house to take care of her cats, and she left me a bunch of cookies, muffins,etc on the counter, because that’s what she does. And she left a note that said DON’T EAT THE BROWNIES…they’re “special”, lol. So I ignored them, of course. But my brother went up to the house before biking up to football practice, and ate all of the brownies. And when he got back, he was talking about how hungry he was, and how he ate all of her brownies…and I just started giggling. And he was not amused because he was going to be drug tested for football later that week…he passed, but still….effing hilarious.

THIS!! This is what I have felt since gossip forums and comment sections sprang up on the internet. I like some celebs a whole lot, but I don’t have a lot emotionally invested in them. Some celebs that I love get dragged on here (B. Coop, Kristen Bell, Miles Teller) but I tend to avoid threads on them because I know I’m not going to convince anyone to like them and I don’t feel like reading a bunch of negative comments on people I like. I also don’t understand the hatred flung at EITHER woman. I know there are pages dedicated to hating both, and that weirds me out. It’s not that serious.

Oh Lord, Amen! I’m sorry–I thought BBT was sorta kinda hot for all of two seconds when I watched that sex scene between him and Halle Berry in Monster’s Ball. And just from what I saw of his relationship with Angelina–he seemed to have wanted her to be his sex kitten all the time, and then when she wanted to grow past that, then that’s when the issues started (not to say that she didn’t have her part either)…..

Every damn time he smiles, I’m gone! He’s not really sexy, he just has something sometimes. Plus he’s incredibly smart, funny (‘what fourth wall?’ lol) and artistic, something that gets lost because of the Jolie connection.
I don’t think he wanted a sex kitten, he doesn’t seem to have a pattern like that and he always said that beauty is not important to him. Jolie would not enter a relationship purely for a man’s desire, nothing ever suggested that. She was quite deep in interviews about how she views life and wants to live it. They were also often apart due to Jolie’s filming schedule so she wasn’t entirely focused on him.
They were just so obsessed with each other and fed a need that they BOTH had to be loved and wanted. Both couldn’t believe that the other loved them so much.
I adored BBT during the Slingblade era – and I agree he was a genius. He lost me during his marriage to AJ – I thought they brought out the worst in each other and I was pretty grossed out with the PDA.
I think a smart southern boy can be so sexy – I felt the same about Tommy Lee Jones when he was younger. You’re tempted to dismiss the hick accent, but then they’re so damned smart. It’s hot.

It is worth it. I was skeptical about it at first, but I thought it was great. BBT is amazing and I really like Alison Tollman and I want great things to happen for her!
Its definitely worth watching – it’s great. Try to watch it in sequence if you can. And pay attention to the cast – there is a Hanks in there (Tom’s son) and he’s really, really good.

mayamae, it was because he was the director of Boyhood, which they filmed during one week a year, every year, for 12 years. Tina’s whole “character” during that bit was the one who didn’t want to get down much. I think the whole thing was a little awkward and tacky but that particular joke was a reference to the movie he was nominated for, not a dig at him personally.

But BB wouldn’t have had to be accused of seeking publicity if the reporter didn’t play that game with him and chose Aniston as an option. So why blame BB and not the reporter. She could have chosen any other woman but she said Aniston twice. It’s more like the reporter seeking publicity not Billy. Plus he was a big winner so he had enough publicity. More people may even tune in to Fargo which is a good series.

I finally watched CAKE last night and it really is good movie. It’s actually about woman who lost her child in some accident and how she copes with emotional and physical pain. I think it’s Jennifer’s best dramatic role and she deserves all these nominations. Must see.
after watching Fargo I forgave Billy Bob for his comments regarding Canadians. Kiera doesn’t have enough meat on her bones for the zombies on Walking Dead – beautiful face, lovely accent but too skinny. As a straight woman I’d pick Kiera over Aniston too based mostly on Keira’s overall personality and awesomeness. But…if I were a heterosexual man, I think Aniston has more sex appeal than Keira and Reese. Keira and Reese are cute but not sexy. I am not surprised that Billy Bob would rather choose Aniston. He doesn’t seem like someone who is into cute women.
As a pansexual woman, I would choose Keira mainly because the other two are not my type. Fake cute girl-next-door thing is not my cup of tea and they are clearly both high-maintenance and frankly boring. No thank you. I like dark and ‘mysterious’.
Keira is physically already much more interesting and ‘real’ than the other two plus she’s got style and a consistent personality. Her movies are also better although as an actress, she is average to me. She’s also low-maintenance and wouldn’t be a drag to be around with because of that (no entourage).
I don’t know what straight men would pick but my guess is…not Keira. I think they would go quicker for Reese because tiny, blonde and blue-eyed, cute and not sexy enough to be intimidating. Then when they find out she’s quite rude and bitchy, I bet they would love her even more. Men are stupid like that.

I’m not pansexual, and can’t pretend to know sometimes what attracts a man to a woman, but I don’t get Keira – at all. I feel bad even talking about this, but the topic has been presented. There was a scene in Atonement where she was wearing a sleeveless gown with deep Vs in front and back, and when she turned and walked away from the camera, I gasped at how absolutely skeletal she was. It was disturbing. I wouldn’t body shame her – she may be genuinely that thin – but she wasn’t that emaciated in Bend it Like Beckham.
And I can’t even agree about the face. There is something about her face that I find so unattractive. I’m not sure if it’s the extreme under bite or her mouth. She has the same habit of Jen, of talking with her mouth closed. I feel just awful, but I can’t stand it. It has nothing to do with her value or worth as a person, and I think she has a sweet personality…… I just can’t with her. And it keeps me from watching her movies, which is a shame.

I know Jen isn’t a favourite on this site – but, at least where I live, Jen is a lot more liked. And I’m saying that as someone who likes them both (I admire Angelina’s charity work).
I like them both, too, for different reasons. It’s crazy to me how much people have invested in one or the other.

I am not sure I like BBT as a person, but he is a good actor, with a good sense of humor and he doesn’t shill (too much) for Hollywood.

If you had to hang with Aniston for an hour, after you got through talking about the weather, how would you fill up the next 58 minutes? Knightley seems to have a brain in her head whereas Aniston’s cranium appears to be occupied by vacuum interspersed with random bits of fluff.
Agreed, not only does Keira have the body and the face, she also has the brain. Well, more than Jen but that is not a hard feat to manage. What on earth would one discuss with Jen? How to think thoughts – of fluff?
Why do you people say Jennifer is dumb? She seams perfectly funny in interviews. However, when it comes to just looks, Keira is much prettier.
Have you actually seen Aniston in interviews? She stumbles and mumbles and twirls her hair every ten seconds. She seems unable to talk sensibly on any topic. Watching her in interviews is like listening to fingernails scraping down a blackboard.

This is hurtful, and in poor taste. Men love catfights, particularly when it’s over other men – their egos love to believe we want them, in the same way they want us! Two women pitt against each other in terms of a man’s lens; the willing, hot and horny females. So many women are willing to fight for those dubious positions; porno slaves. No offense to anyone, but the young ladies pick up this same type of derogatory behavior, and slam men with the same idea. There’s no humanity in this.
Both woman should jump on a man who treats them so casually. Really!
