Jennifer Aniston in a muddy Gucci pantsuit at the Critics Choice: cute or nah?

wenn22073997

Yesterday was one of Jennifer Aniston’s worst days ever, so obviously she had to get her girls out for the Critics Choice Awards. Aniston brought The Eyebrow Formerly Known As Justin Theroux and she forgot her bra. Can I just say? I’ve always liked Aniston’s body – I mean, she works hard on it, but beyond that, I’ve always liked that she’s happy with her smaller, perky girls. But I think it’s past time for her to put a bra on her girls. Just sayin’.

As for the suit look in general… it’s Gucci. I don’t know. I’m a fan of great pantsuits on women, really and truly. And since it’s the Critics Choice (a relatively minor affair in the grand scheme of awards shows), I’m actually surprised more ladies didn’t go with suits. But is this the best example of what’s going on in high-fashion pantsuits these days? The color is too muddy (in my opinion) and it makes the whole thing look dated. The length of the jacket and the general cut of the suit makes me think that this was intended for someone tall and leggy, and Jennifer thought she would look tall and leggy in it… but she doesn’t. Anyway… yeah, not really her best effort, in my opinion. It’s not hands-down awful or anything, I just think she could have done a suit look SO MUCH better, because she has in the past.

Jennifer lost the Best Actress Award to Julianne Moore, because that’s just the way it goes, people. Even if Jennifer had been nominated for an Oscar, she still would have been losing everything to Julianne.

PS… I love that Jennifer isn’t pretending to give a crap about pulling her hair back for OSCAR anymore. She didn’t get nominated, thus her hair is back in her face.

Did she forget the undergarments or what?

    • Marnie says:

I think it would’ve been a great outfit except for the boobs. Like, the colour with her skin tone is quite nice.

      • sienna says:

+1 orange and maroon look fab together!

      • MrsBPitt says:

I like the color on her, too! I think she would have looked really good, if she had put a shirt on. I’m no prude….I just think the whole thing would have looked better with something besids her boobs under the jacket! jmo

How great would it have been, if Angie and Jen, went up to each other an started talking!!!! The tabs would be going nuts!!!!

      • PrincessMe says:

Yep. Could have been a good suit, but the fit is a bit off and the jacket is hitting her boobs in an unfortunate possition – saggy or not. I don’t mind the color though.

      • Nina says:

sienna, you’re killing me I actually snorted

      • QQ says:

Oh Jesus Sienna I Let Out a LOT yelp in the office

      • sienna says:

Seriously though, someone needs to stage an intervention. She is one tanning session away from full Oompa Loompa

      • Kosmos says:

Ya know, if you’re going to wear an open breasted look like this–you must not have saggy boobs, right? Geez, wear a slightly see-through lace cami or something else. This just looks embarrassing. Actually, I’m also not a fan of the open bodice look on anyone. I know the style is trendy right now, but it’s just not my fave.

      • wolfpup says:

Every woman has boobs, and men like them all! What is the point of being naked, when all one does is look like every other woman, being more or less the same. The dudes want us all – we should be choosy. This adventure is ours.

    • Lilacflowers says:

      Undergarments and blouse.

      • someonestolemyname says:

Her chest skin looks awful and her boobs need a good bra. She needs to put them away, cover them with a undergarment and top of some kind.

The open jacket ages her, her skin on her chest looks like tan-mom.

    • TeresaMaria says:

I mean, she looks good, don’t get me wrong. Her body is amazing.
But it’s just this “all-in-our-face” sexy look that is tacky

      • qwerty says:

        To me it’s in-your-face droopy.

      • Judyk says:

Agree, TeresaMaria, I just don’t get the in-your-face w/ my boobs look…it looks desperate and tacky.

      • Iheartgossip says:

and she cannot pull off sexy. Some women cannot, she is one of them. Kaley Cacco-Wheeting is the same way.

      • DrM says:

I agree with the difficult to pull off sexy comment BUT don’t see saggy boobs…I see normal, non plastic breasts that look in amazing. I mean come on peeps she looks FAB. I do think a black boned corset with the jacket would have look good or a really crisp white shirt left open to show a peep of lacy bra and her necklaces…

      • crazydaisy says:

Maybe she wanted to put her natural boobs in AJs face.

    • Senaber says:

I think a really nice bra would have elevated this look. Literally and figuratively.

    • Mimz says:

Suit is ok not great but her lack of said undergarments makes this lool so ’70s… deep V cleavage and boobs that arent so perky. Loose hair. Oh so 70’s!!

And no i dont love 70s fashion.

      • minx says:

It’s a borderline Ron Burgundy color.
I feel the same way about the pinkish/mauve 80s colors–gotta be careful with that one, too.

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

Her girls look totally saggy and gross. Not that they are, but this is a very, very bad look for her. Does she not have a mirror? Ewwww

      • homegrrrl says:

I want to like it because I feel liberated when mine & other’s boobs are free . I’m all about the freedom. I think a fitted Jacket w invisible support would have been more flattering- just a tad more effort w the same effect.

      • Lauren says:

Agree. She is NOT a beautiful woman. Average body, manly face and small eyes at any age. Hair always in the face to hide it.

      • LAK says:

Given how high profile she’s been for the past 20yrs, I’d never noticed what a thick and short neck she had until the past 2 RCs where she has her hair up. Ditto big earlobes, big shoulders. Her chin was more prominent. Her hair covers (or distracts?) many things. She should ALWAYS keep it down.

      • epiphany says:

She looks ridiculous. Who wears a pantsuit without a blouse underneath? She knows her chances to win any remaining awards for which she’s nominated are virtually nil, so she pulled the Plan A distraction; show a lot of cleavage. I’m no Brangeloonie by any stretch, but AJ looks like a goddess compared to this fool.

    • someonestolemyname says:

      It looks AWFUL!
      What was she thinking?

  2. notpretentious says:

I want that necklace she’s wearing! I really don’t like the too long, unfinished look of those pants. Why is that a thing?!

    • Lahdidahbaby says:

People think the extra vertical swath of fabric makes their legs look longer. Sadly, in reality it has the opposite effect. A perfect example of someone who habitually attempts to trick the eye this way is Simon Cowell, with his boot-cut jeans always drooping over his feet.

Jennifer has a fantastic body and she didn’t need to expose her girls that way. I think the suit is pretty, and I like that color on her a lot. The perfect top would have been a short, loose silk-satin scoop-neck cami of exactly the same color as the suit.

    • Mary says:

Really? I like the pants because they’re showing off her thighs. She’s got great thighs. Maybe they needed to be a cm or two shorter, though. But sooo +1 on the needed a good bra and some sort of top. Does Justin look bored?

  3. Frida_K says:

I’m going to go out on a limb here and just say it–the low-cut neckline does absolutely nothing for her bosoms. Instead, it gives her that “floppy pancake” look that flatters nobody but the plate at breakfast time.

    • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

Agree. Even if you have nice breasts, when all you can see of them is that downward line underneath, it makes them look flat and droopy.

      • It is what it is says:

Meh I like it. Boobs are boobs, they change with age, why not just be ok with it

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

I’m not saying her breasts are droopy. I’m just saying that seen from that angle, anyone’s breast would LOOK droopy. I find it unflattering to her beautiful body. I’m fine with my body and all it’s flaws. I have a huge scar on my breast from breast cancer surgery and it doesn’t bother me at all. It’s part of who I am. But when I dress up, I like to accentuate my best features. I don’t see anything wrong with knowing what looks good on you and what doesn’t.

      • Nemesis says:

Because at a certain point you need a bra. I would’ve rocked this outfit 20 years ago. Today, at 37, Id rock it with a blouse and a bra.

      • minx says:

Yep. I’m very small breasted, way smaller than she is. For years I wore cheap cloth bras or went braless because I thought it didn’t matter. But the whole breast area moves south, even if your boobs don’t really sag because they’re small.
Finally a few years ago I got a decent slightly moulded cup bra (not padded, I didn’t want that) in my correct size and it made a big difference. My whole silhouette looks younger and lifted. Aniston will learn this if a stylist hasn’t told her already. You have to help the girls along.

      • Crumpet says:

I loved the color, but the fit of the jacket was too boxy. Nipped in at the waist and a little tape to aid the girls in their time of need would have been nice.

      • It is what it is says:

See I don’t think we ‘need’ to wear bras. If you want to, you think you should, then sure. But millions of women around the globe don’t wear bras and they do it with a lot of chic. They’re just boobs people. Everyone has seen them, everyone can do whatever they want with their own. It’s just not that big of a deal, especially for an adult woman.

      • GoodNamesAllTaken says:

        It is what it is
You have a valid point. Just from a fashion point of view, I don’t think this look is her best. But I don’t have a problem in general with going braless if that’s what works for you.

      • minx says:

        It is what it is
I don’t disagree, and women should feel free to do whatever they feel like. We shouldn’t feel ashamed of our bodies, ever.
However, in Aniston’s case, this is a woman who spends a lot of money and puts a lot of effort into her looks. She got her hairline done, her nose several times, undoubtedly more plastic surgery. Her hair is always a big thing with her. She’s very body conscious, always wants to look good in a bikini. It wouldn’t have taken much effort to improve the look of that very expensive pantsuit by taking care of her cleavage, either with tape, a lacy bra, or a cami/blouse if she wanted to cover up more.

      • TW says:

@It Is What It Is: Absolutely. I went to an art show of a talented sculptor who had gorgeous work. All had this sort of shape to the bosoms. He said he prefers the look artistically. Honestly, if one looks objectively, more mature breasts can be lovely.

      • Zwella Ingrid says:

This is a look for a 20 year old at best. Not even sure a 20 year old would look good with the angle of the cut.

      • It is what it is says:

        Cool 😊 @GNAT @minx @ TW

  4. Zapp Brannigan says:

I think that colour is marsala, the Pantone hot colour of 2015. If it is may dog have mercy on all our souls.

    • Belle Epoch says:

Ha! Hate the color. Hate the outfit. Hate her. Maybe it’s time for a cinnamon roll.

    • Francesca says:

      Mte!

    • littlestar says:

I take the Pantone Colour of the Year with a grain of salt. Last year they said the colour was orchid (a vibrant purple), which I absolutely loved, and could not find clothing of that colour anywhere! It just wasn’t thing I guess :(.

    • moot says:

Yup. Was going to doff my hat for the woman who is so fashionable that she wore the first red carpet outfit in the Pantone Colour Of The Year.

(Not endorsing the colour, just endorsing Aniston’s savvy positioning to be first to wear it this year. I think. I haven’t checked or anything.)

Don’t love or hate the colour, but I’m happy to see Jen wear something not black. Colour suits her better.

  5. minx says:

Her boobs look saggy. Put the girls away, please.
It’s a 90s throwback look. Her glory decade. The tailoring, the hair, the tan, the cleavage.

    • Greata says:

This! A woman trying way too hard to hold on to her glory days.

    • Louise177 says:

Agree about the boobs. Way too droopy. It made me think that Kate Hudson would have looked amazing in it. Even when you have small breasts they still need to look great, Jennifer’s doesn’t.

    • Brittney B says:

I just made a comment downthread about comments like yours. In short: they hurt.

I agree that she tries too hard to hold onto the past, style-wise. But I don’t think she’s under any illusions that her breasts look exactly the same as they did 20 years ago. I’m not even a fan, but I admire this look because it says to me, “it’s okay for a bit of underboob skin to touch your chest skin, and it’s okay to refuse to be ashamed of it.” Boobs only defy gravity for so many years, and for some of us, they NEVER do. Women are allowed to feel sexual and sexy for more than 10% or 20% of their lifetime… and large-chested women shouldn’t be shamed into covering up just because they don’t fit a very narrow standard of beauty. Same goes for stretch marks, wrinkles, and other “imperfections” that are actually SUPER common.

      • Maria says:

        Bless you for this.

Breasts sag folks, and there’s absolutely nothing new about this.

Her body is on point and if she likes the look and feels comfortable, what’s the problem? I can understand if people feel it’s inappropriate but critiquing her for not having 20 yrs old perkiness is petty.

As for the suit: the pants need to be hemmed in and I wish her top was better fitted.

      • Josephine says:

I agree with what you said and still think her look is unflattering. For the red carpet, I think some support is necessary. If she were going without a bra on the street, so problem, but here, I just don’t think she looks nice like this. It’s not about shaming someone without the perfect chest; it’s about flattering clothing appropriate for the event, I don’t think this is it.

      • TW says:

I posted this above to another commenter, and then read yours. I’d like to respond to you with it: “I went to an art show of a talented sculptor who had gorgeous work. All had this sort of shape to the bosoms. He said he prefers the look artistically. Honestly, if one looks objectively, more mature breasts can be most lovely.” This was years ago, and since then my own body has matured similarly. Because of his beautiful sculptures and what he said, I’ve always looked at it artistically without the stigma so ridiculously put on women these days.

      • Zwella Ingrid says:

@Maria, I haven’t read any posts that I thought were aimed at criticizing her physique. I certainly didn’t intend that on my comments. I am criticizing her choice to wear this unflattering outfit.

      • Becky1 says:

Agreed @ Brittney B! There’s way too much emphasis in our society on youth and perfection. Our standards for beauty are almost impossible to achieve and the very few that are genetically blessed enough to do so are only able to maintain it for a brief time. We all age.

I actually like the pantsuit and flowing hair but I’m admittedly a fan of 1970’s fashion-I know it’s not for everyone. Personally I would have worn a camisole under the jacket (I wouldn’t have felt comfortable at any age having my chest so exposed) but to each her own.

      • Otaku fairy says:

@Brittney B and Maria: Thanks for saying that, because it definitely needed to be said. I like that you brought up women are allowed to feel sexy and sexual for more than 10-20% of their lifetime too, because it does seem like there’s only a short window of time women are ‘given’ to be allowed to do that. If she does it before she’s in her mid 20’s, people say she’s too young and call it exploitation, especially if she has a young face, but if a woman does it in her late 30’s, 40’s, people say she’s too old and desperate and trying too hard to stay young. I don’t think older women should suddenly have to ‘put it away’ just because they’re no longer the hot young thing, or because they don’t have that body that’s the perfect, youthful mix of slimness and curvy-ness. I like that she’s natural as well- I’m not into the shaming people for getting cosmetic surgery trend, but I do think not getting plastic surgery on everything is the harder choice when you’re in Hollywood.

    • alreadyready says:

Right. Cut, color, fabric and fitting scream 1990.

    • spaniard says:

I thought the same when I saw it. I remember a similar suit (black) worn by her in a premiere when she was still married to BP with the same cleavage. I like it and her hair (again) is fabulous, but I’d prefer it with a shirt on.

    • Tifygodess24 says:

You know I have to ask why does everyone on here say her hair is so 90s or her look ? Walk into any mall , go to any hair stylist , look on Instagram and you will see most women with hair , makeup etc just like that. ( of all ages too ) It’s the same comments all the time with her on this site. It’s getting old. #SoMuchHate

      • minx says:

Well, I’m assuming that when you are a wealthy celebrity you don’t want to look like you came from the mall, particularly when you are at red carpet event.

    • Brandii says:

So what if her boobs arent perky like a 16 years old? It happens to all of us and its only unattractive if we are all obsessed with maintaining 16 year old bodies. Boobs of all shapes and sizes welcome. As are asses, abdomens, legs…..hell, just bring your entire God given under appreciated bodies one and all.

      • minx says:

        I’m 62. I certainly appreciate body changes.
I wouldn’t expect her body to look like a 16 year old’s. But she could help her breasts along, give them a little support. It’s an unflattering look. I think she has no notion of dressing well for for her age; she thinks she’s still Rachel.

      • Crumpet says:

Bless you. I admit I am torn. As women we are so drilled to be presentable {meaning strapped in, pushed up, hairless, glossy and slathered in makeup} that the sight of a naturally aging non-surgically enhanced breast seems unsightly. Objectively I know my conditioning is hooey, and I shouldn’t cringe when I see her outfitted thus.

        Yet still I cringe.

      • kai says:

@Brandi & Brittney : Bless you, I agree. It hurts to hear that your natural state is something you need to hide from the world and I’m often p-ssed off at my own conditioning. Personally, I find JA’s look dated and tacky, but I appreciate her undoctored appearance. (Although she’s still on the exceptional side, I’m thinking, given her fitness and everything.)

      • get it together says:

kai, jenn’s boobs may be undoctored, but her face sure isn’t!

  6. ell says:

    I find it super tacky.

ETA: I also will never get this obsession for tans, they don’t look all that good at all! I think people look the best with their natural skin tone… if you’re tanned/dark skinned naturally it looks nice, otherwise it’s ridiculous imo

  7. Maya says:

Oh my eyes – my eyes..

The colour looks good on her but she doesn’t have the boobs to pull this off like J Lopez can. Plus the suit jacket needs to be a few inches shorter.

PS: what I found the most “pass me the bucket” moment is when Julianna won – she said that she is a girls girl and proceeded to thank her fellow nominees except Marion. I mean come on – this Huvane thing about getting his female clients saying they are girls girl is just plain immature. And I can’t believe that a grown and mature woman like Julianna agreed to do it. Huvane is making me dislike more and more of his female clients instead of making me support them.

    • eva says:

Ditto, all these women spouting that crap are the least girls girls out there, they’re only interested in what you can do for them.

      • The Original G says:

BTW, where were the other “girls” from Cake? Adriana Barraaza, Anna Kendrick, Felicity Huffman? No cast support to be seen, anywhere?

    • Yeah, I found that “girl’s girl” comment weird. I don’t understand why she had to say she was a “girl’s girl”, and couldn’t just say that she loved and respected every female’s work in the room…..it felt very awkward and forced. Especially since in the media, I’m used to the term “girl’s girl” being used by those who clearly do not stick up for all women–that’s the nice way that I’m gonna put it.

      • evasmom says:

Please no flaming but could this be a dig at Angelina? I only say this because isn’t it one of her criticisms that she isn’t a “girls girl?” I know, I know conspiracy theorist and all that but just to know that Humane may be behind this comment leaves me suspicious. Ok dlisted, have at it.

      • GoOnGirl! says:

Do you think someone made her say something like that? And why hasn’t there been support for Jen from the other actors in Cake? I wonder if, because in every interview I’ve seen, it has always been about her. Me, me, and more me. Guess if she didn’t give me props for even being in the film, I definitely would not show up to support her. Same for the premiere of Cake the other day.

      • Elly says:

The absense of the supporting actors could be because they are too busy with other projects. Cake is a solid movie, but way too tiny for big effort.

Felicity Huffman and William H Macy were on the premiere but that was it. I´ve never seen them that often on red carpets or promo tours so i´m not surprised. They are way to private for campaigning.

The young chick from Twilight promotes the much bigger film Into The Woods. And the avatar guy is likely partying with his model wife or beats paparazzi in dark corners.

      • Janet says:

Ever since TIFF back in September, not one cast member besides Aniston has lifted a finger to promote that film. It is being marketed as HER movie. HER face is on the movie poster, no one else’s. HER name is up there in 36-point type, and after hers, in much smaller letters, come everybody else’s. It’s like a one-woman show. The rest of the cast must be furious. They put the same amount of time, effort and talent into this film and only she gets recognized. If I were them I wouldn’t bother to help promote the film either. What would be the point?

    • GoOnGirl! says:

Thank you Maya. I wondered what the comment about “being a girl’s girl” had to do with anything. If anything, she needs to fire Huvane and find better PR.

    • Amcn says:

Did she high five Chelsea Handler as she walked off the stage? Emily Blunt put a blender on the table and got out the margarita mix? Cool girls in the high school cafeteria.

    • littlestar says:

A couple of commenters on here yesterday said that Marion is not a very nice person in real life, so I’m guessing that’s why Julianne snubbed her.

As for the “girl’s girls” thing. She’s in her 50s. She hasn’t been a girl for a long time. She’s a woman. It bugs me when WOMEN call themselves girls. Take pride in your maturity, stop trying to stunt yourself to purposely try and be more appealing.

  8. Lela says:

I LOVE that look on her. And I LOVE that she didn’t get nominated for an Oscar.

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

Likewise I am so happy she was not nominated.

    • moot says:

Cosign that. I really like her boldness with this look. And I’m also glad she wasn’t nominated. In a year with such a strong body of work from women, why would the academy need to dumpster dive to let Aniston join the cool kids’ club? Also, with the travesty of several missing nominations for Selma, letting Aniston have a nomination on top of that would’ve just made everything 5x worse.

      • wolfpup says:

I believe that she would do best working on her personal happiness, and leave trying to “be the best”, take second in her life. She doesn’t need to party a lot, cuss, or listen to Chelsea Handler. She just needs to stop being angry.

  9. Brittney B says:

My boobs have been sagging since the second they grew in (DDs), so every time a celebrity with less-than-perky boobs goes bra-less, I do a little happy dance… and ignore the criticism. Real boobs come in so many sizes and shapes, and a very slim minority of women actually have a round, perky, symmetrical, perfectly nippled rack. I think we could stand to see MORE women being proud of their cleavage despite gravity’s effects. That’s not to say I want to see grotesque, inappropriate cleavage, no matter what the setting… but I’m sick of this idea that we should put away our breasts if they obey the laws of gravity. I’ve been self-conscious for 15 years because of it.

(And let’s be honest here… Aniston’s chest still looks about 20 years younger than Lohan’s. If you have muscle tone and good fashion sense, you don’t have to worry as much about a little bit of sagging.)

    • sally says:

Thanks for this! I definitely agree. I’m in my 20s and have had DDs since middle school. Mine aren’t perky. They’re saggy–always have been. And you’re right, the majority of people will never have those amazing boobs. Even those with smaller breasts get impants and lifts i.e. Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz.
Just enjoy what God gave you and no shaming others for owning what they have!

      • Renee says:

Thank you for this. I am so mortified whenever these threads turn to a discussion of breasts and commenters scorn women with droopy breasts. Mine have always been the bane of my existence. I developed early and were quite large which made me feel ashamed of my body. They’ve never been perky, and I’ve been wearing a bra since age 9. Some people’s bodies are just like that. Now that I am older I just try to accept my body for what it is although I still struggle with it. So I do like when women show their breasts even when they may not have the small, high, perky breasts of young women. They are all good.

      • mayamae says:

Another DD here. The problem, in my opinion, is the huge number of women who now have breast implants. The world now thinks that DDs should rest an inch beneath your collar bones, and rarely move. Therefore, the real DDs look too low and too bouncy. Mine are real, I didn’t pay for them, and I’m tired of being self-conscious.

    • maeliz says:

I don’t have a lot of boobs to sag. Not everyones stay perky. Sister teased our mom, then her own sagged after having kids. Celebrities aren’t perfect and I love seeing it too. Jennifer isn’t a 20 year old. The boobs have been around awhile. The suit could of been tailored a bit to fit better, but there are a lot worse walking around.

    • Ganger says:

Well said. There is NOTHING WRONG with Jennifer Aniston’s boobs. She has a fabulous body and she works hard to maintain it.

The suit would have looked much more sophisticated, however, if she’d worn something underneath.

    • kai says:

I already responded to you upthread, but again: Yes. Yes, yes, yes.

    • Josephine says:

I compare it to the muffin top. Sure, it’s natural, 99% of us have one, and there is no shame in letting it hang loose or in having one. But on the red carpet, the overall effect of your outfit is improved by wearing the spanx or whatever to get rid of it. Do you have to? No. But on the red carpet, you are representing a movie, and it’s nice to have a look that is red-carpet worthy. Honestly, I rather they all get rid of the nasty horsey-hair than wear bras, but I think a polished and sophisticated look is called for, and hers is not so much of either.

      • Lady D says:

People also watch the red carpet shows because they want to see gorgeous fashions/clothing on the stars, and are disappointed when their favorites don’t get it right.
+1 on getting rid of hair extensions.

    • Kori says:

Yes! I’ve had DDs since middle school (and still have bad posture from slouching so much back then) as did my grandma, my mom, my aunt and my female cousins. These suckers are heavy! And yes they do sag. Sometimes I groan when I see my strapped in boobs in photos–they still look saggy because, short of winching them up, they’re just too heavy. But my husband still loves them so who cares? 🙂

      • mayamae says:

Have you ever had a professional measure you to make sure you’re wearing the right size? A large percentage of women wear the wrong bra size. I only ask because I’m a DD too and have great bras – and I don’t pay a fortune for them. They look good under my clothes, too. I do find that I have to go with a plainer look, unlined, underwire, but no padding. And I flatly refuse to wear the hideous molded cup bras that are so popular – who wants to be bigger and not be supported? Anyway, I love my bras and even sleep in one.

  10. Bichon says:

    looks good

  11. Andrea1 says:

Frumpy suit, saggy chest, would have looked better in classy dress.
PS… I love that Jennifer isn’t pretending to give a crap about pulling her hair back for OSCAR anymore. She didn’t get nominated, thus her hair is back in her face.
Yes Kaiser she is very predictable

  12. Lilacflowers says:

She wears black when she’s happy. Dark red is her mourning color.

  13. Not a good look from the waist up. Especially with the chains highlighting her cleavage–I don’t know if her boobs actually ARE saggy, but they’re looking all kinds of sad right now.

  14. obsidian says:

At her age, her girls need all the support it can get. Hair down does look better on her.

  15. Maudd says:

The colour of the suit looks very good on her. Don’t think she is too old for the cleavage. Overall a great look!

  16. lower-case deb says:

the color is fine, but there’s something about the fit that bugs me.

    i like something in between
    http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2014/11/24/1416817842657_Image_galleryImage_WEST_HOLLYWOOD_CA_NOVEMBE.JPG
    and this one: http://www.blogcdn.com/slideshows/images/slides/243/653/9/S2436539/slug/l/139168753-1.jpg

(maybe the structured jacket and skinny pants (though maybe not leather) from the first, and the vest/undergarment of the second), in that red.

  17. SpookySpooks says:

    I think she looks great.

  18. Kiddo says:

    Jen Aniston #foundationgarment

  19. Josephine says:

This is one of those “could have been” outfits. Color is good, but cut is wrong – pants too long, jacket hits her at an unfortunate spot, and she needed some support. I think the overall effect ages her a bit, although her hair looks nice. At least it was something different, but the lack of fit is unforgivable.

    • Esmom says:

Agree. I think the color is really great and a pantsuit is a nice change of pace. But with all her resources, how could she not have it fitted properly? A question I always have when celebs wear ill fitting garments on the red carpet.

  20. Syko says:

A little camisole would have been nice. She just looks like she’s trying too hard.

  21. Elly says:

I have to say Aniston just has normal boobs here and there is no need to call her out for not “supporting” them.
We´re used to see only fake boobs or boobs taped and glued on chins everywhere so we react with horror when we see normal shaped boobs.

    • eva says:

If you’re going to make a display of them, then make them look good, we all know boobs don’t defy gravity so we all need a little help now and then.

      • sally says:

But why make them look like a 20yr olds breasts or breasts of someone who got implants. Why can’t they be natural 45 year old boobs that sag? What wrong with that?

      • eva says:

Why get her hair done? Why wear makeup? Why not just go in loungewear? Because when you dress up You’re changing you’re appearance hopefully for the better, why spoil the entire outfit with saggy boobs, just because that’s where they lie naturally?

      • Luca76 says:

Nothing morally wrong with it at all . And some of the comments here are a bit sexist, that being said as a fashion statement it doesn’t work. The droop isn’t pretty and if she wore something that flattered her body she would look so much better.

  22. chaine says:

this reminds me of something Judith Light would wear, or maybe Linda Evans. All that’s missing is a matronly blouse.

    • Karen says:

I was thinking Nancy Reagan red suits. She is too short for this outfit. This is made for models. Also when she was sitting her boobs looked weird. This was definitely her “look at me at me I am fine not been nominated” outfit. If she was nominated she probably would have worn some weird dress like Keira K.

Read somewhere she had a press meeting already setup for today for her Oscar nomination. She must have gone bonkers yesterday.

      • Kim1 says:

Tom Oneil claims she had a press junket scheduled at Four Seasons in Beverly Hills for today but abruptly cancelled after not getting the nomination. The junket was just for her, none of her co stars.Tom was given a seven minute slot. She reserved two hotel rooms and had a two camera setup for her and the journalists.
        LMAO

  23. kri says:

Good tailoring is everything. It can make or break your look, and this look is soooo broke. No on the cut/color.

  24. Dee says:

I think you nailed this. It isnt the cut of the suit..it is the muddy color. Maroon never looks good on the beach or with blue eyes.

  25. itsgucci says:

Aniston and jolie in the same room 😆

  26. kibbles says:

I’m younger and my breasts are bigger and perkier than Aniston’s, but that doesn’t give me a free pass to go braless and expose my assets to the world. There is a way to show off the girls and some cleavage in a classy way. Her look is cheap in my opinion. I find it more desperate than sexy and I think women at any age can look sexy (ex. Helen Mirren, Jane Fonda, Sanaa Lathan, Rachel Weisz, Monica Bellucci, Halle Berry, Naomi Watts, etc, etc.), but you have to know what looks sexy for your body type and age. I hate the color and I dislike the style of this suit. This is one of Aniston’s worst looks of this awards season.

  27. Jayna says:

I love the pantsuit and the color and fitted beautifully on her. If you are going to show the boobs in a gap that goes way down, tape them up on the outer side to give a little lift like I’ve seen done for movie stars on the red carpet or models. They just look like they are hanging, not perky, so that is not flattering.

  28. Maya says:

Umm Jennifer has been showing her nipples for more than 2 decades on the red carpet. It’s her thing to get attention.

Angelina – as far as I can remember never showed her nipples on the red carpet. It’s only after she got the masectomy that she has shown them. Before critizing Angelina and demean her by calling it fake nipples – it can take years before a woman can wear bras after any form of operations on the breasts. It will be too painful and uncomfortable to even try.

So to sum it up – Jennifer shows her nipples for attention while Angelina probably shows it because it’s to painful to wear bras.

    • The Original G says:

Oh Hilda. why even bring up triangle? It’s fashion. Aren’t you a tad oversensitive?

As for wanting attention, isn’t that what you all give each othe rwith your fantasy over at FF?

      • Kim1 says:

I can only the imagine the meltdown at FF when Aniston didn’t get Oscar nomination.Nothing like a bunch of delusional people being faced with reality.

    • B. says:

I’m sorry, what is the point of this comment? We are talking about Jennifer Aniston, NOT Angelina Jolie.

  29. Luca76 says:

The suit is awful. the color and the fit. It looks like she is going to the VMAs 20 years ago or something-that necklace is the worst.
I don’t have any moral objection to going without a bra . But if you don’t have Jlos rack and just a normal pair this isn’t the way to go. She’s in great shape but that outfit doesn’t in fact flatter her at all.

  30. Evyn says:

What?! So, only JA can show her nipples?

Nothing wrong with going braless. But if your boob are flat and going east & west, you need to wear a bra. Period.

  31. Amy Tennant says:

I like this look! I agree, she could have used a little support, but in general I approve. I like the plunging neckline on relatively small-chested figures. It’s too much on someone curvy, but Jen has a good body for it. I wish she’d worn this a decade or so ago when the boobs were still pointing out, and she was wearing an endless series of LBDs instead.

  32. Rosalee says:

damn that suit is ugly. a camisole would have made it sexy –

  33. Jewbitch says:

Hate the color. Different color with a cami and maybe?

  34. scout says:

Do love the color of that suit but my eyes burn looking at those saggy boobies.WHY Jen, WHY?!
Atleast replaces the image of “the gloves”.

  35. Erm says:

Is she wearing extensions? Her expressions are kinda cute in these pictures.. Kind of sheepish. Justin looks like a mannequin in the last two pictures.

  36. Catk says:

I find myself liking the color on her, at least it’s a departure from the norm. I would like the suit of it was taped inward an inch or so, and just showed the beginning of cleavage.

I’m laughing at the underboob discussion! And I never had a high pair, I could always hold a pencil even from when they first arrived. Don’t mind her hair down, most of us look better with hair down.

  37. Ennie says:

fake nipples? That is a low thing to say, IMO. Oooops I read the other comment, why do I bother to answer?
she has her own, as far as her open letter said, but due to the mastectomy, now they do not have nerve endings to allow them to “switch”, but at least she lowered her illness risk percentage.
AS per Aniston, she has showed hers for decades. Nothing new, here, she just went back to her usual style, instead of the “serious actress” schtick.

    • Zwella Ingrid says:

Guess what? Not everyone’s switches. Mine are at attention at all times, and always have been.

      • Ennie says:

I said that AJ’s can’t because of the obvious outcome of her mastectomy. I really cannot remember a time where you could see her nips except purposely in photoshoots, some movies and the Oscar time in her sexy silver plunging dress at the 2004 Oscars, and they were not like they look to be today. Thankfully, her surgery will bring her peace of mind and health for a longer time.
Anyway, the poster calling them like that was rightly moderated and erased.

  38. Ginger says:

Personally I think this look would have been way sexier with a lacy bra and an unbuttoned blouse under the jacket. The girls hanging out in a suit jacket with no shirt has been done so many times. I’m the same age as Jen and whether your girls are small or large doesn’t matter…gravity still takes it’s toll over time. A bra becomes a necessary accessory. Other than the in your face droopiness, she looks great. I love that she’s wearing a color other than black.

  39. khaveman says:

I think she looks great. So many do “the suit,” but it’s black. Nice to see color.

  40. Karen says:

Im tired of seeing everyones breast bones this week (golden globes indeed). A blouse, even with a deep plunge would have been better. Although the color is great on her.

  41. Kim1 says:

She always wears extentions.I have no problem with that just don’t claim your Living Proof products are the reason your hair looks so healthy.
I hear her Cake commercial mentioned her Oscar worthy performance.
Also she cancelled her scheduled interviews after being “snubbed” by the academy.Very unprofessional if it was about promoting the film than you wouldn’t cancel interviews. She assumed she had the nomination.
    Oh Well

  42. MJ says:

I want to like this, she looks great in this color and I like the idea behind it. But the proportions are off somehow. And I know she’s got way better boobs than this blazer is suggesting. It’s not very flattering.

  43. B. says:

I think she looks amazing. Free the nipples!

  44. FingerBinger says:

I like it. The color looks nice on her. I don’t get the correlation between her hair and not getting an oscar nomination.

  45. Dante says:

The color is fine just not on her. She is so orange and that clashes so badly with this suit. As an owner of saggy titties, I have no problem with them, but I don’t go to fancy parties with them hanging out either. Those days are past Jennifer, let it go dear. She is a pretty woman and there is no reason to stoop to that. I suspect this was a middle finger to the Academy since she didn’t get the nod. No more serious hair, tanned to the extreme, and titties out for the world to see. On second thought, she’s never been more interesting. Do you girl!

  46. Sassback says:

I don’t know why people are so hard up on Aniston, man, how was yesterday her worst day ever? She got shade from mentioning a dead ex by said dead ex’s wife, rightfully so, though I found it obnoxious that the wife would release a statement at all when she was clear that her husband never gave interviews or statements and that she didn’t want any publicity about his death at all-she generated an even bigger amount. And everyone is talking about how she overstepped with her campaigning and that’s why the Academy snubbed her, but I remember a little lady named Melissa Leo a few years back that who went cray trying to get her nom for The Fighter, got it, then *won*. And her campaign was way more obvious than Aniston’s. And it’s not like she’s the only person who hires Oscar consultants. They all do. I would say she’s probably excited that her movie was even in talks for a nom and she’ll try again with her next films. I doubt she expected one right out of the gate, this being the first time she’s gone acourtin’. And everyone forgets how good she was in The Good Girl.

ANYWAY I love this suit, though I would have done her hair differently. I get the styling, probably trying to mix business with fun, but it just doesn’t go. I don’t mind the color, I don;t necessarily think it’s amazing with her skin tone but thinking about how gothy that would look on someone pale, maybe it’s just not a great color for anyone.

    • Becky1 says:

Good points @ Sassback. Yes, from what I remember Melissa Leo’s campaign was much more overt.

  47. Crumpet says:

Why do you say they are fake? She didn’t have breast cancer, her breasts were completely healthy. The simply removed the inner breast tissue and replaced it with implant. The nipples are hers.

    • Maya says:

It’s like a dig saying the whole masectomy thing is fake and angelina only had a boob job. Some dislikers do say that..

      Crazy I know…

  48. Jade says:

I dunno, something is amiss. I’d love it if she wore a nice white and collarless shirt, like something Rachel would rock. Nothing wrong with her body. If I may, this whole look just doesn’t flatter her the most. Hair and makeup still ok. There, am I still bitchy?

  49. Lucy2 says:

I would like it better if it had an undergarment, or at least another button.

  50. JH says:

Nah. Something is off. Maybe the fit of the pants? Can’t quite put my finger on it…

  51. Paige says:

I love the suit. Her boobs hanging out takes away from the outfit.

  52. Janet says:

Just plain awful. If you’re going to wear a neckline like that, get a boob lift.

  53. daughterofjean says:

Wow! She knocked it out of the park. I love the whole ensemble. Very cool!

  54. Michelle Felice says:

Like the concept…..but it should have been taliored to fit.

  55. siri says:

All wrong, color, lenght of the trousers, the black buttons on the jacket, and of course those boobs hanging out. It actually looks cheap.

  56. serena says:

More then forgetting her bra.. her boobs looks a bit saggy, so yeah.. next time put it on Jen.

  57. anne_000 says:

Both she and Justin wear clothes that are meant for taller people.

In this outfit, she looks like a middle-aged woman from the 1970s/1980s trying so hard to look hip, young, and sexy. Looks kinda desperate to me.

  58. Barrett says:

Too mean to her all the time. I don’t understand why her? Do you know her?

  59. Tessy says:

I like the pantsuit, colour and style. But the pants are too long and she forgot to put on a shirt.

  60. prissa says:

Just saw Cake. It is a good movie. Jennifer’s performance was very good. I hope she continues in this direction. I like her outfit and her presentation in it (saggy boobs and all). This is her and she can be herself. Really impressed that she took the chance with this movie and hope to continue to see her in more serious roles.

  61. Leslie says:

Her pantsuit is beautiful. Love the color. Wish she’d done something with her hair, though.

  62. Penelope says:

Her boobs look saggy and JT is the opposite of sexy. JMO, of course. 🙂

  63. Vampi says:

    Finally saw Cake!!
I should not be surprised that she wasn’t that good in it…but I am. I honestly expected more since she campaigned SO hard.
She was meh. She was Rachel trying to be deep. No depth. No nothing.
I honestly expected more from her.
No shock the Academy passed her over.
Bland and forced and cringe worthy.
Too bad…I wanted to come here and say she done good.
    Stick to ROMCOMS Jen.
You reallly ARE a one note actress. I can’t pretend any longer. *sigh*

    • Jayna says:

I like her in dark rom-coms or dark comedies, like The Breakup. I thought she was excellent, and there were some tough scenes in that movie and she pulled them off. I thought she was strong in Marley and Me, where it was a lot of lightness and comedy but where there were real-life dramatic scenes. Many Rom-coms have even a couple of scenes like that that she’s pulled off

A straight-up drama like Derailed she doesn’t really add anything to.

      • Janet says:

Some critic made a very snarky but very funny comment about Aniston in Derailed, in the scene where she is trying to seduce someone on the train. He said Angelina could have nailed that scene in 1.5 seconds just by raising an eyebrow, whereas Aniston only managed to look constipated.

      • mayamae says:

Jayna, I think you’re right about the dark comedies. I haven’t seen many of Jen’s movies, but I thought she was good in The Good Girl and Friends with Money. Both characters were depressed and dissatisfied with their lives, but felt trapped.

    • Iheartgossip says:

Agree 100%. It was awful. I felt it was a ‘way’ to get Rachel the O S – K A H nomination. So that didn’t work.

    • sug#1 says:

I could tell from the trailer I watched it was Jen/Rachael “trying” drama. I will watch the movie when I find the DVD at my public library for free.
Find a tv show Jen like a spin off show from friends…like Joey did! You can even call it Rachael.
As for her boobs I am same size & shape as jA I’m 8 yrs older i work out & I go w/o a bra a lot because I’ve been that way all my life. My boobs are perky some days and not so perky other days kinda like me. I have never done the type of peek a view style she wore at the CCA because I would be mortified to have the obvious while conversing with anyone with diverted attention….um my eyes are up here👀 I may be free spirited but I am also modest.

  64. Jordan says:

Why is she hanging her tits out? Looks desperate. I would be uncomfortable even standing and talking to her.

  65. Grant says:

She looks smashing! Love it and I love her in red.

  66. Iheartgossip says:

SO THIRSTY. So over her, it, them – the entire she-bang

  67. Jasmine says:

She looks so hot. Her breasts look like breasts.
    Yum

  68. Marlaann says:

I think she totally has this retro, Farrah fawcett through back look. The color is bold and its a pant suit, need. To make it sexy somehow!

  69. Greek Chic says:

I think i am the minority but i like her look. I also like her boobs and i don’t see the droopy and saggy thing that all are talking about. Most natural boobs that are not squeezed look like this. They look absolutely fine.

  70. maggie says:

Best of the night! She looks awesome.

  71. Shiba says:

Not a JA fan, but loved that necklace with the whole whole ‘suit, no shirt’ choice.

  72. MAC says:

There have been many photos of women in pant suits that are beautiful. This one is just -no.
It is not attractive at all.

  73. Kimberly says:

Sorry, I don’t like this look at all. Plus it’s ill fitting.
Couldn’t she get someone to properly tailor this outfit?

  74. WhereTheWindBlows says:

I cannot believe she would go look this. She looks half-dressed and terrible! The worst of the night. Was she trying to copy a certain someone who wore a suit to an awards ceremony, but they rocked it. This looks just terrible! The wost Jen has ever looked. I feel bad for her.

  75. Frosty says:

Very sexy look. And welcome to the world of color, JA, we’re happy to have you!

HOWEVER. I love me a good tux on a sexy woman, and this one is not the best. Not happy with the cut of the pants and something about the fit of the jacket seems off. I wish it were closer through the waist. And the buttons hit her in an odd place, dragging her torso down visually. Quibbles though.

  76. nan says:

Hmm … well, she’s always had attractive boobies and probably they still are (for her age), but this VIEW of them looks too scrawny, saggy and chicken-breast-y. I think it’s just the way the jacket fits though — it’s not flattering to her. She needed some support and a little camisole under there.

  77. Otaku fairy says:

I like this look. It would have been boring if it were just a plain black suit, but the color of her outfit and her shoes and the gold chain thingies make it different. I would kind of like to see Jennifer Anniston with a hair color other than this sandy-blond color she always rocks. Maybe some shade of red hair would look nice on her.

  78. CJ Berk says:

A nice lacy push-up bra would have really helped….too much sagging going on here. And also-really those pants were too too long….they looked like she didn’t have time to have them altered an inch or two would have made it much sleeker. I think she’s really pretty but there’s something so smug about her. Hence the fact that she thought no bra would be a real turn-on. Ah, Jen, not so much.

  79. I_Answer_The_Headline_Question says:

Jennifer Aniston in a muddy Gucci pantsuit at the Critics Choice: cute or nah?

    Nah.

    • I Choose Me says:

Okay, your online handle is making me giggle like mad for some reason. As are your one line comments.

  80. Debbie says:

Her “girls” (more like her grannies) are falling down and running away in opposite directions. Perfect – Angelina looked like the goddess she is.
