Last week, we heard about the latest crack-tragedy to befall our beloved Cracken, Lindsay Lohan. We already knew that she had contracted a mosquito-borne virus called Chikungunya, while in vacation in Bora Bora. But last week, Lindsay had to check into the hospital because of the pain and fever. Many of us assumed it was probably just an attempt to get better drugs. Perhaps. Whatever it was, Lindsay was released from the hospital pretty quickly. She spent her post-hospital days trying on thongs and posting Photoshopped photos on her Instagram.
So, what now? Is she all better? Will she be returning to America anytime soon? Well, she had a court date tomorrow in LA. She has to check in with a judge about the terms of her probation/plea agreement. Remember that? The last time she had a major crime spree and court-cycle, Lindsay was put on probation and she agreed to do 240 hours of community service. She was given until November 2014 to complete those hours, but she got an extension because she hadn’t even finished half of those hours. So what will her excuse be this time? “I couldn’t finish my hours because I was on vacation in Bora Bora and a mosquito bit me”?
Lindsay Lohan will use a mosquito defense when her lawyer goes to court next week to announce her client has failed A SECOND TIME to complete her community service … and this could land her in jail, TMZ has learned. Lindsay is due in court Wednesday to prove she completed her community service in connection with her 2012 reckless driving case … where she slammed into an 18-wheeler on PCH.
She was required to perform 240 hours of community service, but on November 6, 2014 — when she was required to show proof of completion — her lawyer, Shawn Holley, told hizzoner LiLo had completed nearly HALF the hours. So the judge set a second date for Lindsay to show proof of completion — next Wednesday. But TMZ has learned Lindsay isn’t even close to finishing.
Her excuse … the community service center in London was closed for 2 weeks during the holidays and she ended up in the hospital with a mosquito virus. Here’s the problem … she got the virus while vacationing in Bora Bora, instead of putting in her time.
And there’s a bigger problem. She screws up a lot and has lots of excuses. Here’s a partial list:
— 2009 … Lindsay failed to complete her alcohol ed program
— 2010 … Bench warrant issued after Lindsay was a no show, claiming she was in Cannes and her passport was stolen
— 2010 … Bench warrant issued after her SCRAM bracelet went off at the MTV Music Awards after party
— 2010 … Lindsay failed to complete her alcohol ed program
— 2010 … Lindsay allegedly beats up a woman at Betty Ford
— 2010 … Probation revoked after cocaine found in her system

I wish TMZ would stop ringing the “he could ask for jail” bell. We get all excited and gear ourselves up for a good old-fashion “Cracken in the Slammer” cocktail party and then nothing happens. Lindsay gets a friendly pat on the firecrotch from Lady Justice and she gets to go one her way. TMZ even did a follow-up story about how Lindsay is “scrambling to finish her community service by Wednesday” because she’s totally worried about jail. Yeah, right. The funniest part is that TMZ’s sources whisper that Lindsay might have checked herself into the hospital “just to create an excuse.” OMG THAT IS COMPLETELY SHOCKING INFORMATION.
Oh, and guess where Lindsay went after being released from the hospital in London? She went to Paris. She went to a fashion event and then went out clubbing.

As LAK pointed out, if the Kraken had really been properly ill, she’d have been sent to UCL Tropical Diseases. Instead, she spent a couple of days hiding away in a silly clinic-come-hotel for rich fools (yes, yes, I know, it is a hospital, but properly ill people in Britain are treated at NHS hospitals for serious stuff). I’m on board with the conspiracy train on this one.
The fact that she was off to Paris and partying confirms that theory.

I just don’t understand why she gets break after break and is never held accountable for the same things that ordinary people would be in jail for. Is there a judge out there who has the stones to actually hold her accountable???

Sigh…Wish she would just get some REAL help and support, move on with rest of her life. She is very talented, feel sad for her.

She never has been really punished, so why should she sweat it? The problem here is in the consequences. There doesn’t seem to be any for LiLo, no matter what she does.
She didn’t even get that much community service, she could have knocked the whole thing out in less than 2 months. And why was she allowed to do community service in London? That’s not the community she was supposed to serve.
I don’t get it either. How much did she cost the California taxpayers with her court shenanigans over the last few years? Why does London get the benefit of the payback? (not that they are really)
It almost counts as a service to the community for her to just leave and stop endangering people here.
I for one don’t doubt that she is genuinely ill.
Probably the trip to Paris was prescribed. The club would be where she picked up her medication, and sitting at a fashion show was a kind of PT.
And given her allergy to hard work, it would be criminally negligent and certainly malpractice for any doctor to say it was safe for her to do her community service. I don’t think epipens work for that kind of anaphylactic shock.

You’re forgetting that rules don’t apply to Lindsay.
If Lindsay was going to claim medical issues, wouldn’t the court want her medical records? I doubt the hospital would falsify records for Lindsay Lohan of all people. Besides she’s going to have a hard time defending herself when she’s constantly traveling.

Disgusting! I may sound harsh but all i wish for this kind of trash is to “make the example” when she gets in court, With at least several month in jail. What she did in the beginning was not that terrible but what i despise the most is people who thinks they are above the laws, above the common. How many people, even innocent, have spent years in jail for “little” things?
I got a friend who spent 2 month in jail and had to pay 10000 euros for… graffiti (Ok he did it several times but he was a kid.). It took him 5 years to pay this off and he was the poorest. The judge wanted to give an example! He WISH he just had community service!

I actually believed she was sick this time, until she went clubbing right after being released from the hospital. I guess it’s still possible; she felt better after the hospital, so she went out, and she paid for that by getting sicker. But… yeah, not really buying it.
One of these days something terrible is actually going to happen to her, because she’s human and something terrible happens to almost everyone eventually. And no one is going to believe it because of her history of lies. Maybe that will wake her up.
Lived 11 years in Jamaica and have many friends there still. That virus makes everyone very ill for at least a week or so and some people take literally years to get over it. I do not think she has it. Perhaps if she has the constitution of a tank but it seems that she would have been far more ill on her vacation ….She looked totally fine in all photos…..
They don’t even HAVE that virus in Bora Bora, or even that region of the world. Unless the CDC and a bunch of other international infectious disease agencies are lying.

I just have to say since I was so taken aback by how BAD she looks in the thumbnail imagine on the celebitchy front page, I know that drugs can do terrible things to a person’s looks but holy oh my god!!
