Here’s a photo from People magazine’s photo spread of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s island wedding wedding. This shindig followed last week’s home ceremony and well-placed shade. You can see the photos here. CB, Kaiser, and I were checking them out and concluded they must be drone pictures. Isn’t that terrifying? Someone plugged in the coordinates to Johnny’s Bahamas island, Little Hall’s Pond Cay, and a little robot flew around snapping images of the Scarfmonster.
The pictures are blurry, but we can see a glimpse of Amber’s dress. The gown is rumored to be a Stella McCartney design, so it’s a good thing we can’t see too much detail. Johnny’s wearing white, and there aren’t many people witnessing the vows. A few dozen people, perhaps? The ceremony looks lovely, and here are some details:
“Johnny’s private island is a tropical paradise. Wedding guests were treated to an amazing weekend that ended with a romantic beach ceremony,” a source tells People. “Guests relaxed on the beaches, had fun snorkeling and enjoyed food cooked by private chefs. Everyone seemed to have the best time. It was a very celebratory vibe.”
Heard, 28, wore a traditional long-sleeved white wedding gown and a floor-length veil, while the actor, 51, donned a white tuxedo jacket and black pants.
The actress was flanked by several bridesmaids, including her sister, and Depp’s 12-year-old son Jack stood by dad in matching attire.
“The weather was perfect and the beach setting was gorgeous,” the source says. “The ceremony was beach casual and intimate, yet very romantic.”.

People’s source adds that Johnny is “madly in love.” Well of course! Amber’s the only one (in two decades) who stuck around long enough to marry him. You know, everyone keeps writing about Johnny’s endless string of engagements. The assumption is that Johnny ditched these women, but I’m not so sure. Maybe all of these other women didn’t want to put up with him. Amber’s gorgeous and hustles a good game, but Johnny seems like the one who was desperate to marry. And … Amber’s okay with it too.
P.S. The Mail has more pics. They say Amber did her own hair and makeup, and she and Johnny have been “glowing” since their first wedding.

Agree. Drones are creepy. And if it was asked for specifically by the couple (so they could sell photos but allow guests to be anonymous ), then that’s fine. But if they were told no and the news sites went ahead, that’s sick. Draw the line and get laws in place specifically for Drones. It’s infringing on human rights.
Drones are creepy indeed. I can’t help but wonder what a person like the Girls-Gone-Wild founder would do with a drone. I imagine they’d be hovering and filming near every bathroom and bedroom window they could find.
I don’t know what to feel about this couple. They remind me of Tom and Katy but much, much more lamer. Who cares if they’re married to death.

To me, he never really had it. Sorry the whole guy is just a PR manufactured phony. The facade is just more crumbly now.
I think when he was younger, his face most certainly had it! He was a gorgeous, gorgeous man. But you have to take care of it or your teeth will fall out like his are.

Johnny’s a phony. Always has been. He turned out to be everything he once despised about Hollywood.
The ‘well-placed shade’ article that appeared in People just before the wedding – in which a source claims that Amber Heard has changed Johnny’s life for the better and that she is isn’t needy like his exes – has confirmed once and for all for me how much Amber and or the people working for her are trying to influence the image the audience has of her.
Whether Heard has changed Depp’s life for the better I don’t know. But I do know that ever since she has been with him, more ‘sources’ than ever before have leaked information about Depp’s private life to the press. Guess who is behind that?
Depp himself, she is not leaking anything without his permission. Even if he is too hammered to get what’s going on, he still has managers, lawyers, publicists and agents to make sure nothing unfavorable gets out. He has all the money and all the power in this relationship. She needs to convince the movie going public that Johnny is still hot. She may get a career and some, hopefully plenty, compensation out of this.
Yeah, I’d never in a million years believe Vanessa Paradis is needy.

This forced feeding of Depp-clan’s PR is so humiliating, that it would be stimulating to read something else instead. What happened to that stewardess, Julie Ellis? Still working on his private jett? Her story could be entertaining indeed! People Magazine? Anyone? : )
First: At first glimpse I read Johnny Bananas. And thought: why was Johnny Bananas at the wedding.
Second: Is it true that Johnny’s wedding gift to Amber was a yacht that he renamed? According to some sites that’s what he did. The yacht’s name was Vajoliroja before and is now carrying a name that sounds Amberish. How awful would that be?
That’s not true. The Vajoliroja was sold in 2013 and it was the new owner (that even changed his flag and register) that changed the name by “Amphitrite”. The yacht is now a charter not a private yacht for a family and i even read comments from the same people who works in the yacht about Johnny not being the owner anymore and how much they- the workers- miss him
Was People sanctioned to take those photos? From the quality of them I’d guess no, but they tend to get official photos from celebs pretty regularly (or am I making that up?). I seem to vaguely recall Miley Cyrus throwing a fit a while back of a photo-taking drone that flew over her house.. I’m really not up to scratch about paparazzi ethics, but this seems a little sketchy considering it’s a private island…?
Depp and Heard have been advertising their wedding this weekend for a week… It would be a little naive to assume that there wouldn’t be any paparazzi trying to get a glimpse of that. But more than that, I think that the couple (or at least AH) were actually betting on photographers taking pictures. It provides proof that they are married and it gets them attention, and they need all the proof and the attention they can get.
LOL! then why they didn’t SOLD the real pictures of their wedding?. If they wanted to be on every cover of magazine they would have sold the official pictures that you could see are taking at the ceremony for their own photographers, and make a big businness for hundreds hundreds of dollars

I think this crap is worse than any of them. They were basically up front (for the most part, side eye to Clooney)….how do you advertise that you’re going to get married on a certain weekend (which is what happened last weekend), if you want a private wedding? You don’t. This is them wanting some pics of their wedding out, but not wanting to have a public transaction.

Saw some pics of Amber and Lily (JD’s teenage daughter) shopping, laughing together in LA, she must be good to his kids and fun to be with. Well.. congratulations to the couple, who knows it might work out!

So with you on this.^^ Next step is to get pregnant (or glowing) and then in a few years, she can start with little roles in Indies, blah, blah blah. Smart girl. He is a giant ass.
If there’s no prenup, then California law rules. Which means she would be entitled to 50% of what he earned during the marriage, not his lifetime, if they were married for ten years or more. And he would be entitled to the same from her. But since no one thinks they’ll still be married three years from now, I think Johnny’s fortune is safe.

I can just see Amber putting some papers in front of a drunk ass JD, and saying, “sign these, baby”….and Amber is a gazillionaire!!!!! He is a fool!!!! Well, I hope he gets what he paid for!
The real money comes from having a baby with him- she won’t get much in terms of spousal support for a short marriage (maybe a couple hundred thousand and any gifts or jewelry he gave her), but if she has a baby with him…she’ll get a ton in child support. Spousal support is awarded for a long-term marriage where the lower-earning partner contributed to the earnings of the other partner by maintaining a home, raising children, etc. Child support is meant to ensure that the child has materially the same financial situation with each parent.
She’s 28 and going to be a super step mom to his 14 and 11 year old children….phhhhtt!
I can’t believe the paps took photos of the actual ceremony!That’s just creepy.And I don’t believe that Johnny and Amber wanted them to do so cause they could have just released official photos if they really wanted everyone to see.Shame on PEOPLE for publishing the photos.As for the wedding I think that no one is in place to judge them cause we don’t know them.To be honest I can see them lasting despite the age difference and stuff.Regardless of what will happen in the future,congrats!
They wanted to publish the photos (as well as all the s**t this week and before). That’s part of the “leak-game” they are playing. The point is, that they say they want to be private, but at the same time they make 100 % sure, that some “source close to the couple” kind of accidentally gives stuff for People Magazine and so. The source must be well payed, while he’s been very busy since 2012. Perhaps free flight to Bahamas or something… Everythig comes from Depp’s office anyway, his publicist perhaps has degree on propaganda. And this has been great week for her: just after Depp’s collapse in Japan she was able to fix two weddings, campaign to defame Depp’s ex (it’s been non-stop almost three years) and Depp’s fiancee’s clean-up.

Well,because they WANTED to.It’s that simple.They are people like us and want to live their life the way they want.It’s their wedding and they obviously wanted it to be on the beach.They don’t owe anybody anything.That doesn’t make them fake,If they were fake they would have already released their photos and also they would have had a bigger ceremony.Nothing about the wedding seems fake to me.In fact it looks very low key with less than 25 guests.And by your comments you sound very judgemental.Who are you to tell them what they ”should” and ”shouldn’t” do in the first place?Everyone is entitled their opinion and yeah this is a gossip site but don’t try to make something appear as a fact when it’s clearly a conjecture.

I’m not sure it were drones. I’ve watched a video from the aerial shots of the island from the day before the wedding and you could hear the voices and the helicopter. Also there’s a hilarious picture with all the guests and bridesmaids giving the “finger” to whatever was taking the pictures to them LOL!
I have to admit it’s refreshing to see a famous couple keeping their vows private in a contrast with the show from others like Clooney. But now considering how the papz invaded their ceremony and People is making a business with it, maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to ruin the business of paparazzis and People Mag, by the release of some official picture of the wedding in a different magazine
