Keanu Reeves had his outdoor lunch with a female companion interrupted four separate times yesterday by fans who wanted to pose with the tousled-hair actor. Keanu was looking better than he has in months, and was freshly shaven with short hair. He’s been photographed in the past few months looking disheveled and drunk in public, so this is a nice change.

There was more than one paparazzi present to document his meal and he surely picked such a high-profile location to get his picture taken. It was a good strategy for Keanu because he seems like a nice guy to so patiently pose with fans. At the end of his lunch though, he’s starting to look a little tired of all the attention.

He was eating outdoors at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Keanu is currently working on the film Night Watch with Forrest Whitaker. Reeves stars as an LAPD cop with a drinking problem who gets framed in the murder of another police officer. Earlier reports that Kevin Federline would have a small role in the film were false.
